"Wild Root is a local favorite for breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. Located on Boise’s restaurant row, the restaurant creates colorful salads, bowls, keto options, and a variety of plant-based recipes, all best enjoyed on the patio in good weather. Restaurateur Dan Watts also operates barbecue joint Saint Lawrence Gridiron around the corner and Suite 104, a speakeasy-inspired cocktail bar next door." - Scott Ki, Scott Wink

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Had a wonderful experience at Wild Root Café! Sydney provided exceptional service—friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The food did take a little longer than expected to come out, but it was absolutely delicious and well worth the wait. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Highly recommend!

5 stars all around. My 3 girlfriends and I go once a month to a new brunch location that no one has been to. This was amazing. We all taste-tested each other's food and drinks and NOTHING disappointed. Will be back.

So grateful to find this cafe. It was so revitalizing to have a mug of bone broth with all the goods (fried egg, seaweed, greens, sweet potato, ginger & turmeric). The family got the eggs Benedict, French toast and their take on the Banh Mi. Looking forward to come back for another bone broth before we leave Idaho 😍 thank you!

THE BEST HANDS DOWN 🙌🏼 I’ve been to tons of restaurants in Boise but Wild Roots tops it! The atmosphere was wonderful, the girl with the long blonde hair was my waitress and she was such a wonderful waitress, prompt and had amazing customer service! I got the Banh Mi with bone broth side and it was truly the best I’ve ever had and the portion was huge. Well worth it! I also got the Queen Bee cocktail and it was not only beautiful but tasted absolutely wonderful. We will most definitely make this our go to place in Boise!

5-star eats in Downtown Boise. Cherry Noir Latte was A+++. A morning Bahn Mi??? CANDIED BACON. SIGN ME UP. Bone broth with garlic, greens and potatoes was a great addition. (And Healthy! Will be back)

Stopped in for an unrelated event, dinner with strangers, and this was the secret venue. Which I was excited about, because I haven't been to this restaurant yet! The staff was very accommodating and attentive with a large party. There was like 13 of us and it's a comfy venue. There was one item that really caught my eye, which was the Crispy Korean Potatoes. And they were absolutely fantastic 😋! I would definitely get them again. Given how tasty that dish was, I would be interested in going back and trying some other items. Be different, and try someplace new.

The restaurant is located on a closed to traffic street with a whole bunch of other restaurants. The staff is friendly and attentive. They get 5 stars. We got sandwiches and soups. The sammies were delicious. The soup arrived cold and had to be sent back for a reheat. It took a while. They have loads of very interesting and fancy expensive coffees. I had to try one, but the flowers decorating the top were difficult to chew so I had to remove them. The coffee itself wasn’t particularly tasty for the price. I expected more but got a taste like all other fancier coffees from any other coffee shop that charged less money. I asked for the largest but got a small mug. I should have said something but was enjoying the company of my friend too much. I don’t think I’ll come back as there are so many other restaurants to try.

We enjoyed our third visit to Wild Root. We both ordered the beef/vegetable bowl w bone broth. A hearty.and delicious selection for cold winter evening after the Christmas program. Yes, we will return for the new addition to the menu and we hope Ashley is wishing them.
