The Best Philly Restaurants Where You Can Also Watch Sports

"If you want to get a good seafood boil, you’ll have to head to the Northeast. Wild Crab Cajun is the best spot, with starters like crispy calamari, steaming bags of almost every sea creature, a massive space with a few pool tables, and more than enough TVs to go around. Swing by on any Saturday or Sunday and you’re guaranteed to run into a bunch of Penn State or Eagles fans praying to the sports gods while diving into a pound of shrimp, crab legs, or mussels dripping with garlic butter. They also have a large beer list and a sea-themed throne area where you can take pictures and pretend you’re Posideon or Aquaman if you need a distraction from your team's performance. " - candis mclean

The 10 Best Shrimp Dishes In Philadelphia

"There’s no shortage of seafood spots in the Northeast, but if you want the best, go to Wild Crab Cajun Seafood. Located in a shopping complex, this seafood shack serves some great dishes like crispy calamari, oysters, and crab cakes, but it’s their seafood boil that deserves all the attention. It’s the perfect entree if you come here with a big group to watch a game or just want a steaming bag of crab legs, corn, broccoli, potatoes, and, of course, massive shrimp. We always get ours dripping in the rich and herby garlic butter sauce, and the dish pairs well with anything we pick from their extensive beer list." - candis mclean, alison kessler

Google
For $18.99 a person, Ichiban Buffet is a steal! Everything was fresh and decent, very fair deal for $18.99 AYCE! There’s also a lot of options, including sushi and hibachi. No complaints at all. Only feedback is that the bathrooms could use some air refreshers and be wiped down better, considering how we came in shortly after the opening time.

Food are pretty good in this place. It has better taste than most Chinese buffet I've been to. A good place to get lunch. Their sushi option is pretty good but for nigiri, the rice is bigger than the fish sometimes. Overall, Chinese food taste great. Japanese food is average in term of taste.

Not a bad restaurant with a buffet to go there for dinner or lunch. I went there for dinner. I liked everything, but it was too hot inside because the air conditioning didn’t work well. The food is delicious, the selection is mainly seafood. But there are other delicious foods. The staff is normal and works very quickly. You need to pay immediately upon entering or when you sit at the table. for dinner for one person I paid $22.66

This was totally an experience for lunch. It’s all you can eat seafood 🦞. My tastebuds are still dancing from this amazing and satisfying experience. The service was phenomenal, my waitress was on point my coffee cup and my table was almost never waiting anything. From my arrival until my departure I was fully waited on. Thanks so much for the kindness and generosity. The ambiance and decor was superb in every way. Thanks for this beautiful space in the center of Cottman Avenue. My friend and I had such an incredible time together.

Google
The service was bad. the severs kept reaching over the table, taking plates when we weren’t done. the servers were touching the forks with their bear hands. they kept rushing our party. the severs were sweeping and mopping around people while eating and the mop heads needs to be switch because it smelt funny and not fresh. the sides were not good the fried rice was over cooked.

Affordable price with all kinds of choices for foods, clean space and welcoming service, nothing to complain about 🤞🏻

Google
The seafood I tried was horrible. The crawl fish was cooked and laying in a soggy sauce, which made it slimy and messy to eat and I had problems opening it & it tasted plain. The short beef ribs were too chewy & covered in bbq sauce. The salmon was baked and tasted spoiled, I didn’t eat it. The ham was too salty, I didn’t eat it. I haven’t been here in years and I now know why. I won’t be going back. Eat at your own RISK. It was a waist of $22 for me. This restaurant is NOT DAME VERIFIED‼️🤦🏽‍♂️

Google
They don’t honor Advertised price For lunch i came at 3:10 their lunch pricing ends at 3:30 . I was told they won’t honor the lunch pricing because They already started putting dinner items up. If they stop honoring the lunch pricing, regardless of advertising They have up In Their building. Then they should change the time. Very disappointing Usually a great place .

Yelp
Their fish are good taste fresh .... The noodle and yellow rice are cold ... They barely have any sushi choice .. Service is alright . This restaurant is huge and definitely love the overall design of the place . Especially those plates on the walls .

Yelp
This was a really good spot to go to for seafood, which we regularly had our family gatherings for the past 2-3 years. We are normally showing up with 10+ people each time at least twice a month.... It has been a few months since the holidays was just over, and to our surprise, it's under a new ownership. The difference (can't remember on the price) but no more crab legs except for holidays. The staff are the same and ambience hasn't changed. Food is still decent...however, this time around, I decide to pay for gratitude at the front desk instead of before leaving. To our surprise, the staff that always served us for all these visits decides to stop us from leaving because we didn't leave a tip on the table! I reiterated that we already gave the 18% at the front desk and they blocked us from leaving until we showed them our folded-up receipt (which we luckily didn't throw out) that we already paid. I am not sure what happened there, but given that it's the same staff that always served us that did this, we will be very reluctant to come back for sure. There are plenty of other buffets nearby that would appreciate our business and not treat us like criminals just because we didn't leave tip on the table. I hope the owner reads this because this is just unacceptable way to treat customers. I can understand people aren't making much these days and depend on gratitude for income, but while it's a great gesture, it is still at the discretion of the customer! The staff needs some cultural training for sure.

Yelp
Lunch 11am-330pm. $12/person Dinner afterwards. $18/person Sushi limited option. You can request specially made items at certain times depending on the chef. This time we went, the chef flat out lied and said they don't do custom orders when the last time we were here, that chef allowed it. Afterwards, I heard them making fun at us upon walking away for asking for a simple custom order of avocado roll. They must be extremely bored at work for them to find this entertainment and not go above and beyond if they have nothing to do... needless to say that we enjoyed our previous visit better. Also saw at one point, the sushi chef touched the trash can then continue to prepare food without washing his hands in between. He did this while prepping sushi lunch for his coworker so if he did this during then, he probably does it with customers' foods too. Other than that, the hibachi was good as we can customize our ingredients and the food comes out hot. We ask to skip the extremely sweet sauce as it'll most likely contain HFCS. We crave certain buffet junk foods at times like cheese wonton & chicken nuggets (our guilty pleasure). We liked that they didn't have single serve ice cream and had the huge tubs of ice creams this time. Fishes were all tasteless as they were most likely previously frozen, but that is what you pay for buffet quality.

Yelp
This place is horrible! The other day when we arrived, there were only about 2 tables filled in the entire restaurant. Food was cold, I informed the waitress about this matter two times. She says it is because they didn't have any customers so they turn the heat low so the food won't get sticky together. Nothing was being done about it though. Everything was nasty, cold, and old! You can tell everything was sitting there for a whole day. But think about it, they don't even turn the heat on for the food. I don't think they could even pass health checks. I don't recommend going there, their food will make you sick!

Yelp
For a buffet it was good. The hibachi was the best part! As for "seafood" part not much appetizing seafood with the exception on shrimp. Seafood was hard shell whole small crab, crawfish shelled, and "fish" in that were fishy in different sauces. Sushi is California rolls only. The Chinese food was good. But probably the best china buffet I have had in while. No crab legs!
