11 Twin Cities Restaurant and Bar Openings to Know This September | Eater Twin Cities

"I checked out WildChld, the sister cocktail bar to Stepchld, and saw a cocktail menu developed with Bridgit Loeffelholz of Dampfwerk Distillery that includes mezcal washed with coconut milk and accented with basil, mango, and turmeric, malted rye paired with umeboshi, and more, plus a menu of small plates from Stepchld’s kitchen." - Justine Jones

All the Upcoming Restaurants and Bars Opening in Minneapolis and St. Paul | Eater Twin Cities

"I’m curious about WildChld, a cocktail bar by Kamal Mohamed adjacent to StepChld that will feature a bar program from Bridgit Loeffelholz highlighting fruit brandy, light bites from the StepChld kitchen, and a desert-sunset vibe with rust-hued walls." - Justine Jones

Here Are the Twin Cities’ Most Anticipated Summer Restaurant Openings | Eater Twin Cities

"I’m curious about WildChld, the new cocktail bar collaboration between StepChld chef Kamal Mohamed and Bridgit Loeffelholz of Dampfwerk Distillery being built next door to StepChld; it promises a sleek-but-unpretentious spot for a nightcap or pre-dinner drink, a menu of small plates from the StepChld kitchen, and an emphasis on fruit brandy cocktails." - Justine Jones

WildChld is the bar part of StepChld and StepChld is the restaurant part. A very relaxed and comfortable setting. You can choose to sit on leather couches, or at a tables, or booths. The decor is lovely, the music is from my high school years, circa 1980's. The crowd looked 20's and 30's business professionals or business owners. A good time was had by all. My Wife and I will be back.

Wild Child is such a fun spot! The colors and atmosphere are super inviting, it’s got this cool, upbeat energy that makes you want to stay all night. The music is always on point, creating the perfect background without being too loud. And the drinks? Absolutely delicious. Every cocktail I’ve tried has been flavorful and well-crafted. Whether you’re out with friends or looking for a great place to unwind, Wild Child totally delivers.

I stopped in for a quick drink and had Cheyenne for my bartender. I absolutely loved him. His energy was amazing, perfect customer service, and he made my experience so much fun! I will definitely be back!

A friend and I hung out here for a few hours the other day and we tried maybe 7 of their cocktails and every single one delighted. Incorporating exciting ingredients in ways that kept us charmed rather than feeling forced or gimmicky. To top it all off, it was great chatting with Liam as he kindly guided us through the menu. Wish reviews weren’t limited to 5 stars, I’d give em a solid 5.5 if I could

Great experience. Tre was our bartender and he gave us a VIP experience. He’s clearly versed in mixology and curated original drinks for us to enjoy. Great energy, an intimate experience, and a lot of good conversation. 10/10 recommend if you’re looking for a chill night to enjoy drinks and conversation. Pictured drink was a custom old fashioned with a hint of strawberry and blueberry.

This was the worst “craft cocktail” experience I’ve ever had, in a way that was so bad it was almost fun. Like a B horror film Honestly the vibe of the space was cool! But the bar program so was SO bad They were out of beer, out of prosecco, and the 16$ cocktail my friend ordered was room temperature & full of floating berry pulp that looked like an STD slide under a microscope

Beware!!! I finally had the opportunity to experience Wild Child. The food and the music were a great vibe, but my credit card was stolen from this establishment. I had $200.00 worth of charges on my credit card the next morning. I stopped by to speak with the manager, but she was not available, and they don't have any contact information or a website. Please enjoy yourself here at Wild Child, but also watch your surroundings.

Stopped in for a couple of cocktails. Unfortunately, the drink menu that they had was smaller and less appealing than the menu posted online. Ended up ordering a few classic cocktails like an old fashioned and a negroni, which were just okay. Was a bit disappointing to be honest. The atmosphere was cool, service was decent. We didn't get any food, but what we saw looked tasty.

Yelp
WildChld has been on my radar for a minute, and the universe clearly agreed because I had the pleasure of being invited by the owner's mom herself (sweet soul). From the moment I stepped in, the energy wrapped around me like a smooth track on a Sunday evening. Think vibey, soothing, and just the right dose of grown and sexy. This is the spot for date night, catching up with your girls, or solo vibes with a cocktail in hand. The menu isn't overwhelming, and I love that. It's intentional, classic, and curated just right. I ordered the wings and was nervous at first (that herb combo had me side-eyeing), but baby they understood the assignment. Flavorful and unexpected in the best way. The fries with the aioli? Smacking good. Drinks? On point. Music? Set the tone. WildChld might just be my new go-to spot when I need to unwind, connect, or just vibe. I'll definitely be back.

Yelp
The valet guy outside was harassing me to move my car. I was literally parked in a metered space and just was trying to say goodbye to my date in peace. I didn't even know what was going on since I was legally parked... but he seemed aggressive and was asking if I was leaving. Which creeped me out. Then I got into my car and started putting in my GPS directions and he was yelling right outside my car "GO. Are you gonna make a decision? MOVE!!!!" As soon as I left he put out cones in front of the metered space. I wish I'd called the police on this. He's taking money from the city by having some valet parking in a metered spot. I definitely won't be going here again. Really creepy and scary behavior.
