Google
Fully gluten free bakery and cafe. So many options! Somewhat limited inventory while they ramp up. We were blown away by the muffins, best GF muffins we’ve ever had. Cinnamon roll and lime bar were delicious. Coffee was perfectly smooth. They’re serving Shambala bread until their bread baker starts in June. I’m eager to try them for lunch. We’ll definitely be keeping them in business!

Google
The cream cheese frosting gluten free cinnamon roles are amazing. They also serve Cafe food breakfast sandwiches and lunch options. Delicious.

Google
Ordered coffee and monkey bread, overall pretty good. I wish it had a little more cinnamon maple flavor instead of a vanilla custard. They offered to warm it up I said yes, but it was still cold.

Google
Got 2 breakfast sandwiches, cinnamon roll, 2 loaf cakes, lemon bar, and a rhubarb bar. Everything but the cinnamon roll was delicious. Sitting here mad that I live so far away but willing to make the drive

Google
It isn’t easy to find decent vegan/gluten free options usually, but this place was good! What I didn’t enjoy so much was the coffee.

Google
Wow!! This place is amazing! Definite new go-to when I’m in town. The breakfast sandwich was perfect and hearty, and the cinnamon rolls are light instead of the usual dense things you find in gluten free places. Excited to come back and try more!

Stopped in and enjoyed the bagel breakfast sandwich with shallot cream cheese, greens, egg and chimichurri. Beautifully light and bright wrapped in a tender savory cheese bagel. Highly recommend!

Google
Not bad, but definitely not good. Customer experience was a 2/5 and coffee is a 3/5. So I won't be back since there are many other options in Ballard. The cashier was a bit pretentious when asking about syrups for a latte. She said something along the lines of "our coffee is so good it doesn't need syrup." Like glad you have that opinion, but don't make me feel about about my order? (P.s. the black cold brew I got was not great, and definitely the bottom of the ones I've had in Ballard). We also got a cinnamon roll. I knew it would not be the best considering it is gluten-free. While it is a nice substitute for a real cinnamon roll it definitely can't go toe-to-toe with a real one.

Yelp
Being Gluten Free is not an easy lifestyle. Whether it's preference or for health reasons.. it's not easy because no one can guaranty 0 cross contamination on a restaurant I mean.. even MOD Pizza because they all go to the same oven‍ So when I learned about this GF Bakery I knew I had to visit this place. Recently my dad was diagnosed with Celiac (I'm just intolerant to Gluten) so now I google even harder for GF to have brunch & let me tell you that bakeries are our weaknesses I was in shock of how great this place was! great customer service; they gave really good recommendations and were super nice! & the food... wow the food was amazing! 100% recommend

Yelp
My friend recently went gluten free and was telling mw about this place she goes to the one on the east side. They have a great variety of GF I didn't get anything to eat on this visit just a chai latte. Like that is was nice and spicy. Will have to return and try some of the GF items. They did a great job making the space their own I used to visit this space when it was Alison's Cafe.

Yelp
I arrived at Wildflour Bakery and Cafe around 8:09 a.m. this morning, Sunday 28 May 2023. I have a wheat allergy, so gluten-free is something I like to check out. One of the hardest gluten-free baked good items seems to be muffins. So, upon looking at the items on display I decided to go with the good-looking blueberry muffin. After paying, total for the muffin was $6.06 with tax - I paid cash and tipped the change, I sat at one of the two tables outside to eat the muffin. The workers in the bakery were warm in demeanor. While I was eating, one of the workers put crumbs of an item out for the birds. A couple of seagulls and crows came by. As someone who enjoys the birds in the backyard, yes including crows, I had fun watching the birds as I ate. It was like we were getting to see each other eat. The muffin I had was crumbly and not overly sweet. The blueberries were not under-ripe and the muffin around the blueberry was fresh (no signs of mold). I ate it in one go and was pleased with my the dining experience all around. As I was cleaning up and leaving, a metro bus on line 40 (my favorite number) dropped off a couple of passengers at a stop not far from the outside tables.

Yelp
A Sunday morning trip to Ballard to visit the Farmers Market brought us to the Wildflour Bakery and Cafe, which is right around the corner from the market. I had heard their GF Cinnamon Rolls were to die for, and they were right! Not too sweet, not too sticky, just right with coffee from the on-site barista. My hubby had the sausage breakfast sandwich, which he said was excellent! Its an upscale bakery with lots of to go options that are either already baked, or you can select from their freezer and bake them at home. We returned home with some of their delicious cookies, a pizza for dinner later, and the Chai GF Granola (we had a sample of it at the store!). Its definitely worth the trip!

Yelp
Going by Yelp's "Could've been better" label for 2 stars, I'd say that solidly fits my experience. It was so....weird. First, we'll tackle the good: the food. Between two of us, we ordered two breakfast sandwiches from the case - a ham and swiss and a bagel veggie sandwich - and picked up some granola and cinnamon rolls. The granola was absolutely amazing - chai and orange flavored, and i've been really enjoying it. The ham and swiss breakfast sandwich was served molten hot (awesome) and the bread texture was great. cinnamon rolls were a great texture but too sweet for me. so... let's get to the not-so-good... first, we went so my partner could bring in some treats for her team at work, one of whom is strictly gluten intolerant. we browsed the shelves as the woman behind the counter just stared at us, not responding to our hello. my partner asked if not served until a couple days, which was better - frozen or fresh cinnamon rolls put into the freezer at home? this prompted an incredibly awkward and tense conversation with the person behind the counter who was very unfriendly in general. the other person behind the counter just watched the interaction play out, arms folded, doing nothing. after that weird back and forth, we ordered to go and waited. they gave us a number for the table, but also then served one sandwich and our coffees to go, correctly. we waited for the second sandwich... and waited... about 10 minutes later, they brought out both sandwiches, with fruit cups. we then told them it was to go, and that we already had the first one. they they returned with the other sandwich bagged up, our fruit packaged (would i not have gotten the second fruit serving if this hadn't happened?) and who knows what happened to the poor mistaken doubled sandwich. we had an americano and a macchiato as well, and boy oh boy was i reminded why i hate lighthouse's coffee. their roast is absolutely burned to hell. i can't imagine why they even serve straight espresso. i took our drinks home and steamed up sweetened milk to add just to make them drinkable. so... whew. would i go back? if i needed a reliably safe GF place for a loved one, yes. otherwise, heck no. it was unfriendly, poorly served and the coffee was terrible.

Yelp
Update - I received an email from the bakery shortly after I entered them a copy of it on their business website. They apologized for the employee's behavior and asked me to stop by the Bellevue location which I am guessing is their main location. It's a long way for me to stop by a bakery in Bellevue as I live in the Central District with plenty of other options nearby . I do feel sorry for the owner and employees and hope the business recovers.

Yelp
Highly rec for a gf person! Baked goodies, biscotti, cookies, cinnamon rolls, and breakfast Sandos! I had egg sausage and cheese sandwich and the roll it was in was amazing! They have cinnamon rolls and breads to take to go as well! Great location and vibe

Yelp
$14 for a same-day loaf of bread (quinoa, brown rice, honey, non-gluten...). It should be good, I guess...but in a plastic bag? ***** The other bread, I was told by the woman behind the counter, had been baked a week earlier (?). In a actual bakery miles away? This doesn't make sense to a person who goes to Paris frequently, where the whole idea of a bakery is that it bakes its bread the same day! I guess in Seattle one has to ask. Or guess its origins. I thought Seattle was a world-class city, or at least, so it flatters itself on being one. Later that same day, I went to Metropolitan Market and got a Grand Central rustic baguette ($5.50) just in case. ***** The cafe seemed, like the building it is located in, fairly asepticized.

Yelp
So much gluten free ! I have eaten several of the pastries, love the lemon loaf and mint chocolate brownie. They also sell sliced bread and a bunch of things I haven't tried.

Holly M.

Yelp
Dedicated Gluten-Free Bakery. 'Nuff said! Traveling to Seattle from out of town I came across this GEM and walked in feeling so full of joy to find a place that makes food o love that I can also eat. They have a wonderful freezer section of bread and caked foods that can travel well (I believe they ship as well!). They also sell pasta. At the counter you can order all the things you know and love for breakfast from bagel sandwiches to cinnamon rolls (instead it too quickly to take a photo and more. Plus, coffee... Even if you're not GF you won't is the gluten from the delicious items here made with passion for bringing joy to those who miss the yummy goodness of - for instance - a lovely piece of toast or a muffin.

Yelp
Conveniently open on Sundays - yay! - same day and same time as Ballard Farmers' Market. Which is good because, last time I checked, the Bellevue Wildflour Bakery was closed on Sundays. Alas, on the Sunday I went in October, they were sold out of almost everything (it was near closing.) I'm a huge fan of their gluten free sandwich bread (Wildflour has a delicious one, and then they also stock the Shambala sourdough which is also yummy). I had a variant of a pumpkin spice muffin (cupcake, probably) with a streusel topping and it was very good, large, and rich, although it needed a teeny tiny pinch of salt.

Yelp
Great selection of gluten free options. They have baked goods, desserts, breads, pizza dough, etc. basically anything you could imagine. unfortunately docking it a few Stars for the poor customer service and the coffee. I was the only customer in the store and the barista would not even offer a hello, a thank you, or a "you're welcome" in response to my thanks. It was very off putting, as if they didn't want me to be there. Ordered an iced latte and the oat milk to espresso ratio was wayyyy off. Way too much oat milk to the point where I couldn't even hardly taste the coffee. But maybe that's just my personal preference? kinda bummed about the overall experience because this place would be awesome if they were just a bit nicer!

Yelp
We tried the double chocolate mini loaf. We were so excited for it but it was hard and dry. I think we should have tried the muffin instead.

Yelp
Two customers who are Native presenting and Black presenting have been ignored by staff on multiple occasions while white customers are greeted with a smile. The two customers have also experienced rude and derogatory behaviors from servers. The staff here need anti-racism training.

John C.

Yelp
Love their range of gluten free products. Better breads and pastries than any other GF establishment I've found. As a cafe it's terrible. Slow service as staff seem to be busy with other tasks . Coffee was awful... terribly over roasted beans and took 10 mins to make the drink despite there being no other customers in the store. Just dreadful!

Britt H.

Yelp
Tasty food however my drink tasted bitter. The customer service here needs some improvement. Not sure if I'd be back here again and I don't recommend this place.

Yelp
A gluten free bakery makes me feel like a kid in a candy shop. I had the egg sandwich and also a pecan bar. Both were yummy. I appreciate the fruit add on available for a fair price too.

Dana L.

Yelp
I am definitely not coming to Wild Flour bakery anytime soon! I have spoken with my friend and their daughter, who are Native presenting and Black presenting. They shared that they were ignored by the counter server, while white customers were greeted with smiles and service. Such blatant racism toward Indigenous and Black bodies resulted in them feeling both unsafe and unseen. I was appalled and disheartened to hear. We/they won't be coming back here.

Caitlin S.

Yelp
100% GF means I can always eat safely. Delicious eats and a cute spot to sit down vs the takeout only location they started as in Bellevue. If you are used to food with gluten, this may not be your favorite but if you are like me and have no choice in eating gluten free this place is a real treat.

Jocelyn D.

Yelp
This place is amazing! I'm surprised it wasn't packed when I came in but it was a bit early. Incredible breakfast sandwich and everything is gluten free. I love the decor too it's very cute and the whole place feels open and airy but also cozy. Really great spot and they have vegan and dairy free options too! Can't wait to make this a regular spot!

Sophie K.

Yelp
Just go!!! As someone who is allergic to wheat, but it's not the worst reaction, kinda just like season allergies (sore throat, itchy eyes, you know) I indulge with regular bread far more often than I should. But today I finally walked in, and they stock my current favorite bread from Shambala bakery up north so I was already sold. THEN the kind man heard my excitement over the g free breakfast sandwiches and offered me one since it was the end of the day and let me tell you!!! It was amazing!!! Like Starbucks sausage breakfast sandwich but 1000x better and won't give me a sore throat. I'm now onto the double chocolate zucchini bread and wow. You guys. Even if you're not gluten free, this stuff is outstanding. Go!!!! They have g free pizza crust and pre made pizzas!!! Please share in my obsession!

samuel r.

Yelp
I wouldn't say the service was overwhelmingly friendly if at all but everything I tried here was pretty good. It kind had a homemade feel to it. I don't know if it's the type of place I would be a regular to but if you're looking for gluten-free options It's a good spot.

Kay S.

Yelp
We have been fans of their Bellevue Bakery for years and decided to travel to Ballard to show our support. Happy we did. It's a cute location with large happy flowers on the walls. Everything is gluten free and have many options that are also vegan. The staff is so nice! We opted to try the breakfast sandwiches, I got sausage, egg & cheese and my partner got bacon & egg on bagel. Both were served with a fresh fruit side. Sandwiches were delicious! The location is quite new and they seem to still be working things out, however I don't mind at all. I love the family feel and helping local small businesses. I try to recommend this place frequently!

Heather K.

Yelp
Customer service here was abhorrent. I observed two customers who are Native presenting and Black presenting were ignored by the counter server, while white customers were greeted with smiles and service. The young girl, Black presenting, had a small kitten in her backpack, and when the counter server saw this, she snapped at the young girl making her cry. I was appalled at the way they were treated and won't be coming back here, which is unfortunate as there are few gluten-free bakeries in the area.

Yelp
SO happy they have opened a shop in Seattle, I don't have to trek to the Eastside to get their incredible baguettes, yummy focaccia, decadent cinnamon rolls...and now, cakes by the slice! And grilled cheese sandwiches! Even my non-GF partner likes their stuff, and urged me to bring home the cinnamon rolls :-)

Lisa B.

Yelp
Incredibly friendly service, high quality alternative milks, syrups, and chai, and gorgeous gluten free products. Feels incredible to know that the entire facility and the bakery facility is dedicated gluten-free. Looking forward to continuing to support this new local business!

Tracy B.

Yelp
Ok! Customer for life! If you are looking for quality delish GF baked goods, you must stop by this cafe. I went this morning and bought cinnamon rolls, muffins (strawberry shortcake and lemon poppyseed). I also picked up a loaf of sliced french bread. Everything was delicious! My husband is picky on his bread and loved it. My fav was the strawberry shortcake muffin (WOW). Anyway, WELCOME and so glad I found your cafe! See you next weekend;)

Katie M.

Yelp
For my birthday I told my family to get me a wildflour baguette and some cookies, that's how good it all is. (love the biscotti so much too!). Psyched that they are close to my neighborhood and a little worried they will start to think I'm a stalker, lol.
