⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The BEST chocolate croissants ever. Totally worth the trip just for them alone. Everything else is equally amazing. Always clean with friendly service. They made our wedding cake 💍 11 years ago and they've had our hearts ever since ❤️. Highly recommend. Our top two favorites are probably the 🥐 chocolate croissant & their Key Lime pies🍋 🤤🤤 Always finding an excuse to be in the area haha

Google
Honestly cannot say enough good things about the sweets and savories here. Even the frozen items are delicious and better than pre-made meals I’ve gotten elsewhere. The quiches are creative and the crust is perfect. Not your standard sweets either. Decent cup of coffee too. Highly recommend.

WildFlour is a cute, small bakery. It has a little bit of seating. Pastries look good and fresh. We can only report on the one thing we had - the mini coconut cream pie. They clearly used good ingredients, and the pie was very light and tasty. The cream was really nice and fluffy and not too sweet. The custard was also good, but there was not enough. The crust was good and had a bit of salt, which was a nice contrast to the sweetness of the rest of it. The only improvement we could offer is to balance the custard and cream better. The cream really overwhelmed the custard and, as a result, the coconut flavor wasn't there as much as one wants when ordering coconut cream pie.

Very unique pastry bakery with very professional works. Everyone at our wedding was very please with the cake choices and flavors I only had to add the accessories and it was perfect!

Drive past all the time and never stop by. I'm glad I finally stopped. Parking is easy! Great breakfast/brunch stop. On the go, or if you want to sit and enjoy your coffee and food. Have an assortment of coffee, breakfast food, desserts, fresh cakes, and pies. The service was great and will be back soon to try something different. It's probably the best bakery in Charleston!

Google
From the minute we walked in we knew we had made a great choice. The place smelled amazing! The sweet potatoe and apple crumb cake, sausage/egg/cheese biscuit and breakfast casserole were all absolutely delicious!!! We are on vacation and I wish we had a place like this at home!!!

Google
I was able to pick up a few cupcakes & Oreo cheesecake for my husband's birthday. They were honestly the BEST cupcakes I think I've ever had. I LOVED the carrot cake cupcake. I could have liked the box. I was also able to grab some candles for him too (talk about waiting till the last minute). The lady working there was so helpful and kind. I certainly will be back for all my pastry needs! So glad I found this gem! -@tastetravelz

Google
Recently relocated from Summerville to West Ashley. Stopped in to see what this place was all about and came away a fan. Top shelf baked goods from muffins to scones, pies Quiche, prepared dinner like meatloaf or cottage pie , you name it. Sampled the excellent key lime pie as well as a couple of 4 inch quiches. We did take out but this quaint cafe offers in house sit down service in a very comfortable and casual setting. Been back a couple of times and will continue to do so. Tucked away in a small strip mall but 100% worth a stop for breakfast, lunch or take out. Support small local businesses!!!

Yelp
Wow- as someone who has my own home bakery back home, I'm so impressed! My husband and I got Americanos (smooth and delicious) as well as a morning glory muffin (which was like a moist and not too sweet carrot cake with cranberries and toasted walnut), a pecan cinnamon coffee cake muffin, and this super unique tart thing that was like a lightly spiced sweet potato bread topped with a jammy apple layer and perfectly executed crunchy crumble. This was really so special and unlike anything I've ever had before! Truly everything looked great (including sticky bun Sunday), and I really appreciated the flavors and textures of everything we tried! Can't wait to try the cold brew and other treats.

Yelp
This is the OG of pastry and bake shops on Charleston. Operating since 2009, WildFlour has grown to include artisan gifts, wine, beer, pasta and Italian frozen options as well as its traditional bakery. There is even a play area for the kids. This is a great delicious and friendly option in West Ashley.

Yelp
First time in. They had a large variety of muffins, cookies, pies and pastries. I was greeted immediately. Lots of seating. Kind of a funky little place. I ended up getting a delicious key lime pie. Also got a gingerbread cookie which I loved the frosting but all the sprinkled sugar was overpowering. It would have been perfect without the extra sugar.

Yelp
Well run bakery with made to order beautiful and delicious cakes. It was ready as requested and easy to park in their parking lot.

Yelp
This pastry shop was small, in a bland strip mall, and had only a few seats inside. The pastry selection was quite extensive though, and it was a struggle for me to narrow things down to my eventual choices. A pecan croissant was buttery, with an initial dry bite yielding to a moist and satisfying filling. My sundried tomato scone was on the drier side as well, but was a filling item to consume before a long day of beachwalking. They had non-dairy milks (Costco brand) for their drinks and a wealth of sweet and savory pastries that exceeded my needs.

Yelp
Never had pastries any better. If you close your eyes, you would think you are at a patisserie in Paris. Try something new because every single thing they make is absolutely delicious.

Mary T.

Yelp
I've been craving a sticky bun for weeks so I decided to stop by Wildflower pastry after my morning walk. I typically don't like scones, I feel like they are a little dry and don't have a lot of flavor. The lemon blueberry scone is wow! I don't know if it can be called a scone because it is nothing like anything I've ever tasted before. My only disappointment is I didn't buy more. I can't wait to go back again next weekend!

Yelp
My mom got a spinach and feta quiche from here - it is outstanding as you can really taste the feta flavor. Before we left town, I had to get five of the miniature sized quiches to bring back home, as I wanted to try most of their flavors. We enjoyed all flavors, but this is how I would rank the flavors we tried: Spinach and feta - again the feta is strong, so I love it Bacon and swiss - lots of bacon! Fig, prosciutto and goat cheese - a lot of flavor going on here, but it all works out well. Mushroom and gruyere - lots of mushroom in this one! Sausage, roasted red pepper, and goat cheese - this one was good, but it needed more of the sausage and peppers, didn't get much. I also happened to get the holiday maple pecan cranberry danish - and it was amazing. The maple flavor wasn't strong, but it added a nice bit of sweetness to the tart cranberry. I'd love to get a large version of this to serve next Christmas if possible! Definitely recommend Wildflour Pastry if you are in the area.

Yelp
This is one of the best bakeries in Charleston. It's in a simple building right next to Highway 17 with its own free parking in the West Ashley area. The selection is excellent. You can get cupcakes, pies, cakes, bars, quiche, cookies and macarons, as well as coffee and more. The staff was so nice and accommodating, even near closing time. You can dine in, with plenty of tables available. The space is friendly and simple. The prices are reasonable. We recommend this spot 100%, Check out my photos for specifics of what we ate. It's so tough in our region to find bakeries that do small pies or slices, so this was a treat!

Yelp
Was waiting for someone to fly into CHS and needed a coffee and dessert. Had a great key lime tart. Lots of awesome looking baked goods made on site. Good coffee. Selling other local foods as well. If I lived in the area, I would visit frequently.

Yelp
Supper expensive but worth it. Always fresh, nice people, a variety to choose from. The coffee is fresh and tasty. I just wish they were open more often. Frank G

Yelp
The best bakery in Charleston, hands down. All of their croissants are amazing, but so are their other pastries! They bake them daily and you can tell. This place is addicting!

Yelp
Had breakfast here twice while in Charleston. Pastries are amazing--try the apple turnover, bostock and donut muffins. Friendly service, awesome coffee.

Yelp
I came here the other week with some friends and we had some of the best coffee and baked goods I've had in Charleston so far! I had a large coffee and a double chocolate cookie. I liked the coffee because the beans weren't roasted into burnt charcoal oblivion like in many shops - so the beans were actually high quality enough to just lightly roast them and it brought out all the flavors in the beans. The double chocolate cookie tasted like one of those chewy flourless cookies - SO GOOD! Very fudgy. I'll definitely be back for all the other baked goods

Yelp
Wildflour made our wedding cake and it was phenomenal. We loved the options provided and the ease of tasting. We chose two flavors, strawberry and hummingbird. It was too hard to choose one! Also, outside of weddings, they have yummy and fresh goods available for anytime! I particularly love the quiche.

Yelp
Wild Flour Pastry on Savannah Hwy in West Ashley is just phenomenal!! Wild Flour has a wide variety of pastries, cookies, cupcakes, muffins, 4" desserts, cakes, etc!! Wild Flour has a small area inside to sit and enjoy your sweet treat, very clean location. Staff are courteous and friendly! Wild Flour's delights are sooo good! I always enjoy their Snickerdoodle and Chocolate Chip Cookies! Just on Taste Factor Wild Flour earns an easy 5 Stars !!

Yelp
Hands down, the best bakery in Charleston!! The presentation of the desserts is always fantastic, and they are priced fairly. The staff is very kind, and all pastries are displayed so nicely. One of my favorite things to order is the $1 cinnamon donut muffin. This is the best place to take a family member that is visiting, otherwise it is also an excellent place to buy a gift for a neighbor or friend. They will be impressed by the quality and presentation!

John H.

Yelp
This place is super excellent. Everything fresh and made with love in house. I highly recommend you take a trek off the beaten path and try this great little place hiding in non-ostentatious plane sight! Service was superb at 630 am! A perfect little bakery and pastry shop.

Yelp
Their quiche was some of the best we have ever had. Mushroom & Gruyere and Fig, pancetta.

Yelp
I had a random Friday off work, and with so many places closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and social distancing, I wanted a sweet treat to enjoy at home. WildFlour Pastry was on my list for awhile, so I had to try it out. WildFlour smells amazing when you walk inside- at least from what I could smell through my homemade mask. There's also a kid's play area and lots of seating for when dine-in resumes. The baked goods- cookies, croissants, scones, cupcakes, quiches, brownies, blondies, and more were on display in the cases. WildFlour also had a few sticky buns, which are normally only available on Sunday, but someone placed a bulk order so the staff made some extra to sell. I ordered three cookies to take home for my husband and I to share, and the worker, Lani, was incredibly nice and welcoming when she found out it was my first visit. I love a good chocolate chip cookie, and WildFlour's is solid, but my favorite was the double chocolate cookie. I wasn't originally ordering it, but Lani sold me on it in the bakery. It's rich and delicious, with a hint of meringue, and it melts in your mouth. My husband said the peanut butter cookie was his favorite since it was not too sweet. All of the cookies are large, and they're crispy on the outside but soft inside- just how I like them. WildFlour Pastry was a great quarantine discovery, and I can't wait to go back for a chocolate croissant and a sticky bun.

Yelp
Fabulous, just fabulous! Nice team behind the counter working away making some of the best baked goods we have had. 3 mini quiche pies - kids loved them Had the mini key lime pie and it has set a new standard. Warm biscuit and jam hit the spot. Worth stopping by. Will visit again.

Yelp
I finally came here! My friend had a custom almond passion fruit cake made from here and it has been on my to visit list for weeks. I had their mushroom & Gruyere quiche, ham and cheddar scones, breakfast casserole, and raspberry and nutella turnover. My family prefers savory baked goods and they definitely delivered a great variety of options. If I had to pick I think I would forgo the breakfast caserole only because it was so filling I didn't have room for much else. The hot and iced coffees were strong and delicious. All in all I will be a regular here I'm so happy I was introduced to this place. My only request is they bring back some of their more custom cake options! I would love to build my own cake with them for another occasion!

Yelp
Good Food & Drink, Short on Atmosphere We enjoyed the Pecan Croissant, the Cinnamon Coffecake Muffin and a couple of lattes. All the items were very tasty. My only complaint would be about the atmosphere. It isn't really a pleasantly comfortable place to sit and enjoy. Lots of signs on the door with instructions and not too clean, haphazard tables inside, etc. While efficient, the person who took our order wasn't welcoming or particularly helpful. So, run in, get your stuff and vamoose.

Yelp
Prompt and attentive service. We tried a bunch of things including: croissant, lemon poppy seed muffin, sweet potato coffee cake, and a bacon and Swiss quiche. The croissant was flakey and buttery and the lemon poppyseed muffin had a really nice lemon zest flavor. I wish the muffin wasn't frosted though, they also added sugar to the top and it was too much so I just took the whole topping off. The quiche had a ton of flavor as well. We also got a blueberry vanilla latte- this is not a very sweet drink so if you are a sweet coffee drinker ask for a little extra sweetener. The coffee had a nice subtle flavor though and I would get it again. It was nice to get a full breakfast from this bakery and not have to wait for a table for brunch somewhere in downtown Charleston. The bakery is kind of off to the side in a strip mall and doesn't look overly impressive but they make wonderful food.

Yelp
I've always loved Wildflour, but hadn't been in a long time. I recently reignited my passion for pastries and have started going to the West Ashley location when I'm on that side of town. We have a hard time getting out of here without spending $40-$50 every time. Not because the items are overpriced, but because we can't decided and order a little bit of everything. Everytime I try something new it become a favorite and I haven't even had a chance to get a sticky bun yet (mornings aren't my strong suit). I really love the quiche though so one of those are a must. They also have some gluten free options which I'm supposed to be doing more of (shh... don't tell) so that gives me even more of an excuse to go back more often.

Yelp
I had a lovely experience here ordering a cake for my friend who just landed a book deal! There are many many options to choose from and they gave me very flexible options when deciding on when I could pick it up. Ordered on Friday and it was ready for pick up Monday morning. Beautiful cake and my friend tried it and I got all the "omg's" via text, so I can pretty much confirm it was amazing. They also have a lot of fun sweet treats to try! I bought two mini key lime pies to freeze. Who doesnt need key lime pie on hand...They have muffins, donut holes, biscuits, scones, mini pies--just a full scale sweet shop. Highly recommend. All staff members were properly masked. Sanitizer was readily available.

Yelp
I want to thank Wildflour Pastry for making the most beautiful Baby Shower cake I've ever seen for my daughter. It was the most delicious and moist cake, our quests commented of the chef who made it. The presentation of the cake was fantastic. Hands down the best bakery in Charleston. My guests said they now know where to go to purchase there next pastry.
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing staff, delicious pastries. Love their tomato pie or quiche in the morning, and all of their sweets are a delight. Affordable coffee too. My favorite neighborhood spot

Yelp
If you want the best RED VELVET CAKE, look no further! This cake was amazingly good. It was beautifully decorated, very moist and very tasty. It was a fun surprise to see chocolate and frosting between each layer! BONUS!! When picking up the cake I found they offer food such as coffees, breads, quiches, and other fun nosh items! I highly recommend this place!

Yelp
Outstanding KeyLime pie!!!! The graham cracker crust was buttery and delicious great service as well. Will definately visit again!!!

Marissa R.

Yelp
Amazing carrot cake. Cute space for kids to hang out and color. Lovely owner and staff. Quick, kind, and a real local gem. Also, wonderfully early hours!
google avatar

Joseph S.

Yelp
This was my second or third visit and I chose seven different desserts to try. Most of them tasted bland and or just ok although they all looked delicious. I really wish everything was as delicious as the key lime pie. Really Boring - bostock ; chocolate cream pie So So - doughnut muffin ; the salted caramel tart Good - almond raspberry tart ; nanaimo bar Spectacular - key lime pie
google avatar

Shanna W.

Yelp
Vegetarian and Americano Enthusiast Bringing Downtown Charleston Bakery vibes to West Ashley. The best biscuits and jam I've ever had !! It also traveled well! Tasted delicious a few hours later in the airport. You can get a cookie for just over a dollar. Amerciano wasn't my fave.
google avatar

Amanda B.

Yelp
Everything looks amazing at Wildflour, but since I couldn't get everything in the display case I decided on 3 things: a mushroom and cheese quiche, a chocolate croissant, and a pecan croissant. The quiche was delicious, but the croissants were on another level. They were so flakey and were stuffed on the inside. The pecan croissant was stuffed and topped with candied/caramelized pecans. Drooling just thinking about it.
google avatar

Savannah H.

Yelp
I stopped by here on the way to work to pick up a coffee. It wasn't busy, so I was served immediately. On their menu, they have different coffee options and then on a stand next to the register, they have the flavors you can add to the coffee/latte/etc. At the bottom of the flavor list, it said that the flavors were made in house. I tried caramel in my latte and ordered a sweet potato muffin and a chocolate banana muffin. The thing I like about going to coffee shops as opposed to say.. a gas station for coffee, is that coffee shops tend to make coffee the exact right temperature to drink it right when you get it. However, here, the coffee was piping hot, to the point I had to wait a little while to drink it, and by then my tongue felt a little burnt. The muffins were delicious! The sweet potato muffin was not overly sweet for those of you sensitive to sugar. It did have a cinnamon taste to it, like sweet potato casserole! The chocolate banana muffin was my favorite. It was like banana nut bread - minus the nuts add chocolate. I even found a big chunk of banana at the bottom of the muffin! Overall, I think this is a great little shop for pastries. If you decide to get coffee, maybe wait a few minutes before trying it.
google avatar

Amanda M.

Yelp
I pass by this bakeshop everyday and finally decided to try it. The inside is filled with boxes everywhere and the lighting is very low. This place doesn't look like much from the inside or outside, but I will say that their dessert was really good. If you are a fan of very sweet, the salted caramel tart is perfect. I could only handle two bites, but the taste was great. I ate the ginger molasses cookie right away! I loved the different textures from the cookie, soft frosting, and crunchy sprinkles. I definitely want to try some of their other pastries including the savory ones!
google avatar

Opal D.

Yelp
Good coffee, great pastries. The cafe area was a bit dirty though, and the children's play area desperately needed a bleach spray and wipe down.
google avatar

Yelp
WildFlour Pastry on Savannah Highway in West Ashley is a great place to go for quality desserts, baked goods, and coffee. Everything here is very well prepared and tastes great. This is one of my favorite places to stop for baked goods in the area and I have been happy with all of the purchases that I have made from here.
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious and beautiful! Coffee, quiche and pies! Go get you some! Service was quick.

Yelp
My husband order cheesecake on my birthday.( He does every year!) We love this pastry because taste great! There was something inside of the cake. I thought it was a ring or something because it was my birthday, but unfortunately no lol
google avatar

Sadie F.

Yelp
Overall, great experience. Service was lovely and there were lots of great options to choose from. There are breakfast goods, quiches and frittatas, and many types of baked desserts. I had a raspberry lemon tart which was light and not too sharp. My spouse had a chocolate mouse cake which was decadent but not too rich. Even the plain black coffee was good. We'll be going back often!
google avatar

Brandy W.

Yelp
WildFlour baked us literally the most perfect cake in the history of any three year old's dreams!!!! Not only that, but my husband said it was the best cake he had ever eaten. THANK YOU SO MUCH for making my daughter's birthday so special.
google avatar

Annette K.

Yelp
Best bakery in Charleston! They sell out quick, so be sure to head there before 12 if you would like more of a selection.
google avatar

Angela F.

Yelp
This gem is a delight to the eyes with their cases full of pastries. I had pumpkin bread with cream cheese frosting. It was fabulous. There were so many choices, and they have giant cookies I hope to try next time. Also, the muffins looked fantastic. I can't wait for the indoor seating to return to pre-covid , because this is a place I could have one of their coffees and a pastry and hang with friends.
google avatar

Maya P.

Yelp
This place is super cute inside, would be nice to hang out, have coffee and a pastry and work, read or people watch. I came in and had a cup cake and the broccoli cheddar quiche. First off the cupcake was tasty, but a bit undersized for the price and had WAY too much frosting on it. There was actually more frosting than cake, but once I scraped the majority of it off, it was pretty yummy. I was disappointed by the quiche, it wasn't very flavorful and I felt like it had too much cheese. That's a statement I never thought I'd make because I love cheese, but man, the quiche was basically drowning in it. I'd come back to try a croissant or other pastry because they did look tasty and the staff was very friendly.

Yelp
WildFlour is one of my regular places for breakfast of treats. I used to go downtown before this location opened. It's so close to my house that it's both a blessing and a curse :). The combo roll is delicious, and is probably one of my husband's favorite foods ever. I gravitate towards savory, and love the quiches (especially the tomato or fig) and scones. I've made several cake orders, and they always turn out great. My favorite has been the hummingbird cake. Lauren is really easy to work with and to get a hold off.
