such a cute little cafe in catskills area. the pastries are limited quantity so grab them while you can! we recc the cinnamon buns :) breakfast burrito was so good and enough to share for two. the lattes are delicious as well. staff is super friendly and vibes are great!

A friend recommended this spot for the sour cream pancakes and the entire menu ended up delicious. The pancakes were a classic, tasty dish with their cinnamon butter and local syrup. The breakfast sandwich on a fluffy brioche bun was a must with the honey sriracha sauce on it as well. The breakfast burrito, though, is the real star. Filled to the gills and extremely tasty.

The strawberry rhubarb tart was amazing, and the pancakes were good. I would recommend skipping the chilaquiles unless you’re looking for a very Americanized version. They don’t come with homemade green salsa- instead, they’re eggs over dry chips. They later offered me a herb Mayo to pour over it… not Mexican approved.

Stopped in for breakfast while visiting the Catskills for our niece's wedding. Everything was absolutely amazing. The breakfast burrito is sausage was insanely good.

This adorable cafe serves delicious food and coffee with a friendly atmosphere and spacious environment. The cinnamon bun is a highlight - we’ll be coming back for this again! The bathrooms were clean and nice, and the service was excellent!

Excellent breakfast spot in a wonderful location. Very easy to find just look for the large brick factory. Parking on the side had plenty of spots available. Inside was awesome with plenty of old charm still remaining (the floorboards and door were amazing). Place was packed on a Sunday! We got espressos and brunch and were told there was a 30+ minute wait for food which was nice being let know this up front. We decided to wait and enjoy our coffee. Food came out in 20 minutes which was a nice surprise. Overall a wonderful brunch the breakfast burrito was top notch and very filling. Staff was also very friendly. Will definitely be back!

So I really like Willa's. It has a very low-key friendly vibe. The eating area is sunny and has a mellow open view of Catskill Creek. The staff is friendly and upbeat. Coffee is excellent! I had Willaquiles, which is Willa's version of chilaquiles. Yum! The other folks at my table had breakfast burritos which were great and trout toast, which also looked tasty! Plus an order of sweet potato latkes, which disappeared in no time. We were there around noon on Sunday and had no trouble getting a seat. Also, they had really delicious looking layer cakes, and I am tempted to abandon my diet to get a big yummy slice next time.

Meh. Confused by all the rave reviews? Bland sandwich, hard crusty flavorless taters. So-so BLT. Wish we'd gone to a terrific deli.

What a gem of a little cafe! I took a trip upstate this past weekend to escape the chaos of Manhattan for a bit - as someone who has had their fair share of yummy sweet treats and breakfast burritos in the city, I was not expecting to have discovered my new favorites at a small town upstate! Breakfast Burrito: SUPER flavorful - every component of the burrito, from the eggs to the beans to the veggies to the potatoes, was seasoned really well. Too often I eat breakfast burritos where the flavor seems to come exclusively from the salsa. That was not the case here (although the salsas were so tasty) Cinnamon Roll: not sure how cinnamon-y the cinnamon roll was in hindsight, but it was SUCH a delicious surprise. The inside was super buttery, unlike the more bready cinnamon rolls I've had before. My almond milk latte left something to be desired, hence 4/5 stars - would recommend oat milk as a substitute milk over almond, as my friends' drinks tasted great.

Such a cute place in Catskills. Was nearby for a wedding and needed to find a place to get work done. The pastries change every day and ran out by the mid afternoon. There was a big rush around 10am and at a certain point the wait was 45 min for an order. Overall there's a decent amount of seating and wifi. Didn't look too hard but I had a table near an outlet. Also free water and dog friendly.

Fantastic coffee shop with a great brunch menu and baked goods! I visited on a Sunday afternoon and boy was it busy. After seeing their brunch menu, I can see why! Unfortunately, I had eaten beforehand so I didn't get to try anything off their brunch menu but hopefully next time. I opted for a pumpkin latte and cinnamon roll. The latte was absolutely delicious and strong, which I loved. The cinnamon roll was gooey and had a nice crisp bottom and was delicious. The space is super cozy and would be a great place to get some work done. Every employee I interacted with was so welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend Willa's and I can't wait to go back!

A cute and lively coffee shop/casual eatery in the Catskills. It was packed when we visited on a Saturday afternoon, and we had to wait a bit for seats to open up for our large party. I ordered the curry melt sandwich but also tried the sweet potato latkes and banana peanut butter French toast. No complaints about any of these dishes--they were all excellent and fresh. The only downside was the long wait: there was a 40-minute delay for food orders, which was unfortunate. It was really pleasant though to see so much food variety at a coffee shop and none of the other food items my party ordered were bad. Other than the long wait, this place is a great communal spot to grab coffee and a fresh bite. It's also nice being able to walk a few minutes to the Main Street area afterward or take a stroll along the water near the building. .

Willa's was one of my favorite cafes in the catskill area. Has a cozy old school mill feel with new school finds. Located on the art campus just off the edge of catskill creek. Menu provides just what you need for a satisfying brunch. Sweets and savory galore. Had the egg sandwhich and bfast burrito. Indulged in some sticky buns, cinny buns and an apple tart? Everything was super fresh and tasty. Favorites were probably the cinny bun and burrito. Also grabbed the Pumpkin Latte and Vietnamese iced coffew which was just as good. Everyone was super nice to us. Highly recommend! Dog friendly.

The food and service were excellent. We stood on line and ordered the food, then not too long the food was served from the kitchen. There was a selection of baked goods on the counter, and we ordered the cinnamon bun. It actually lived up to the hype. It was soft and warm icing melted nicely. The best cinnamon we ever had. Sandwiches were warm and freshly made. Pancakes were fluffy. Definitely going back when we are in Catskill again.

Willa's cinnamon roll is the best! I got an array of baked items on a busy Sunday morning and the staff could not have been nicer helping me pick out some things. After they packed everything away into boxes and a bag, the precious cargo survived my walk home. Honestly, I just want to know how they make the cinnamon rolls so amazingly good. They are gooey, not too big, and I want to say I tasted something caramelized. The sticky bun was almost just as delicious. I also recommend the marzipan babka, which I didn't know was a thing! Lovely bakery along the creek and easy to find off the main street in Catskill. It's one of the very few places in town that's a coffee shop and has a larger menu of breakfast/lunch food and baked goods. I look forward to returning when I'm back in town.

The cutest lil spot right in downtown catskill ! We got the breakfast burrito and trout toast and both were great. Reasonable prices and good portions. Trout toast comes de-constructed with sour dough (can opt for house made bagel for $2) but I personally enjoyed the option of putting it together myself! The Vietnamese coffee was nice and strong and not overly sweet, the aloha was lovely and light. Since I got it iced the fresh coconut milk had some condensed bits and I honestly enjoyed them as a bonus treat lol! The whole vibe of the place was warm and inviting, yet open and airy. The servers were all kind and knowledgeable. Note: it's a breakfast/lunch spot so make sure you get there before they close! Ya don't wanna miss it :)

This comfortable cafe is situated just a block off Main Street in Catskill. Provides assorted pastries and hot and cold beverages as well as tasty food items. The space is roomy and air conditioned. Dine in or take out option. We thoroughly enjoyed our BLT and sausage and peppers. The latter had sliced apples, pickles and red peppers. Delicious! The BLT had a generous portion of high quality bacon. Pricing is very reasonable and service friendly. You too will love this place!

Such a cute little cafe just behind the main block of the town. I came specifically for their maple latte which was highly recommended and I loved it. There are plenty of seats available but it was busy when I came on a Saturday afternoon noon. The staff are super friendly too!

Great spot. We went for breakfast and I had the burrito. It was delicious. The girls at the counter are very pleasant and cheerful. A young man as well. The country feel makes it very home like. And was a clean place. My wife had the plum pancakes and loved it. It's def a busy spot but don't get discouraged. No tables available we took it to go and enjoyed.

Ok... so we were renting the house across the street for the weekend and needed something to eat, walked by and was still unsure. Well I am so glad we double backed and walked in. We split a burger and a tuna. Along with a side of taters. I am literally stumped for words as to how much of a gem this place is... everything was amazing. This has to be one of the BEST burgers I have ever had it was cooked to perfection, the spicy sauce was just the right amount of heat. . The tuna had cranberries, onion and was also amazing, I never order tuna out and if it was like I would a lot more! The potatoes, those crispy little chunks of goodness!! We are excited to try breakfast tomorrow.

Friendly service and generous amounts of food. Enjoyed our seasonal pancake which is egg nogg and cranberry. Their maple and brown sugar lattes are highly recommended and not overly sweet. When it's not busy, there is plenty of seating. Recommend getting there early if it is a weekend!

The food I had was very good and I love being able to eat healthy food like quinoa when out so I can save empty calories for dessert and oh look they have from scratch homey baked goods right here too so Yay Willa's meets all my culinary needs. It's good but lacks close attention to make dish Uber-delicious. Space is bright and welcoming. Bring the old lady some water or knife is that too much trouble sometimes ordering at counter is slightly annoying and a good lunch and dessert should only be wonderful in this nice spot. Good luck with parking! Try across Bridge St on Water St if the few parking spots near Willa's are taken.

So so cute! I had the maple latte which was delicious (although maybe a little too sweet). The coffee itself was delicious and the shop was super cute. The staff was super kind and helpful! It seems like the kind of place that would be good for studying or working on a laptop. Had plenty of seating and wifi and wasn't too crowded. Highly recommend!

I love going to Willa's for their breakfast sandwich. I'm dying to try their Willaquiles, which I will on my next trip. They also have the best barista in the Hudson Valley according to Chronogram. My lunch go to's are the tuna salad Sammie and the falafel wrap both absolutely delicious. Just writing this revue is making me hungry.

Stopped in on our way from Philly to Stowe. Needed to refuel on both food and petroleum. Hit the dog park for the pup and then Willa's for ourselves. We had the BLT, cinnamon bun, side of sausage and blueberry green tea. The bacon on the BLT was thick cut and the heirloom was juicy. The cinnamon bun could very well be the best cinnamon bun I've ever had. It was smothered in icing and had a sticky almost toffy-like bottom with a crunch. It was dreamy. Would recommend and will keep this place in my back pocket when passing through!

Was staying at the Catskills Getaway cabins in Cairo, and found this breakfast/brunch spot via Yelp. You order at the counter and food is brought to you, drinks called out when ready by your name. The reviews and photos brought us in, as we have had smoked trout fries in Coasta Rica earlier this year, and have been "chasing the dragon". I saw this on the menu and we had to try it, came specifically to try it. It did not disappoint! It was delicious! Every ingredient was meant to be together. The burrito was very good as well, I added sausage. It was huge so it was a bit difficult to pick up and eat but it was so good I just ate it with a fork and knife. The lattes were good and I love that they were served in real mugs. We were very pleased we gave this quaint small business a visit during our stay in the Catskills.

Coffee is good Food is good Baked goods are yummy- changes daily but I heard they have coffee cake and cinnamon rolls everyday Egg sandwich- surprised at how good the bread was. Almost croissant like. The eggs are always so soft and yummy! Couldn't taste the cheese as much... Cinnamon roll- my bf said this was the best cinnamon roll he's had. I thought it needed a little more cinnamon. It was sooooo soft and had that slight chew which made it good. Also the icing wasn't overpowering. Perfect with a latte or black coffee :) Coffee cake- what is this supposed to taste like? I thought it was okay. I prob wouldn't get it again and get something else cus there's so many other things. I think people like it cus the second day I went to Willa's after 11:30 there was like one or two pieces left Meatball Sammie- my bf and I really likes this and the pickles it came with were also really good! The meatballs and sauce were delicious and I loved the texture Quiche- thin and I prob wouldn't get it again Croissants- bacon Swiss and bacon cheddar were both really good... BUT doesn't taste like buttery croissant but more like flaky bread Specialty tea- they have black tea but we wanted something without caffeine and they had water with cucumbers, lemon, and mint... uh we paid 3.50 for a cup of cucumber water. Wish they gave us more for the price we paid I wish I ordered more food cus everything was so good! I will def be trying more things if I go back :) service was great!

Willas is SO GOOD. I don't know if I have more fun eating their wonderful food or dog watching (they are pet friendly). My favorite breakfast dish is the hash- I just wish I could get ALL the veggies in it, but it is such a nice healthy way to start the day. I love their iced tea as well. You really can't go wrong here so enjoy the vibes and food!

This was my second time at Willa's and it was just as awesome as the first time I went! The staff is so incredibly helpful and takes the extra time to ask you how your day is going or if you need any recommendations. So kind always! The space is filled with natural light and is perfect to catch up with a friend or work remotely in. I shared the sour cream pancakes, the taters, the BLT, and I had my own latte. The sour cream pancakes were tangy and sweet with the syrup poured on top; so tasty. I dream about these taters! So good with the onions and you need to get them with the herb mayo! The BLT had the perfect thick cut bacon and was so crisp. I also had the coconut scone and currant cruller at home. I couldn't grab a pic because I devoured them so quickly. Everything tastes like it has love poured into it. Love, love, love this spot!

What a gem. Some of the BEST baked goods in the "hood". Thoughtfully and stylishly laid out with a minimalist country feel. Views of the creek from the back seating area. There is a reason it is busy! And well worth any wait. It is nice to see a small local business supporting other local small businesses showcasing seasonal and local menu items. I have never had anything here I do not love. The coffee cake is to die for! There is a limit of six bakery items per group, because they are a small batch bakery.. which is a blessing for me personally... everything is so delicious this party of one could easily exceed that limit myself. "Small" cafe in Catskill, kind of tucked away so you'd need to know it was there to find it. Menu is small but has tasty choices. Everything always comes out as ordered and the staff is super cool. Sometimes it's busy early morning or lunch rush, but you can chill at a table and chat while you wait. Certainly worth the visit if you're looking for something homemade, local, yummy and different! Definitely try the baked goods, always the highlight of my visits !

Friendly staff and yummy food! I enjoyed the granola with seasonal fruit (banana, apple, pear) and lemon curd. Yummy! Vibe inside is nice as well. Lots of people (local and visitors) hanging out. I also like that they used locally sourced ingredients when possible.

Willa's is located in a large building on a side street in Catskill. There are some parking spots across the street specifically for the restaurant. If you can't get any of those, there's additional parking one block away on Main Street. The space is large with multiple tables of different sizes and some couches to sit on. It is bright and airy and the decor is very nice. I got a cranberry muffin (which is vegan), a breakfast burrito (can be made vegan) and a cup of coffee. All three were on point - the muffin was amazing, even though I am not a particularly big fan of cranberries or muffins. It was light and airy and not excessively dry, simply perfect. Best muffin I ever had. There were multiple other amazing looking baked goods in the display case, but the cranberry muffin was the only vegan option. The vegan version of the breakfast burrito comes filled with vegetables instead of eggs. It was very tasty - there were mushrooms and salsa and other vegetables that I can't remember. It was also a decent size. I liked it and I highly recommend it. The light roast coffee was very good. They have plant based milk available. If you stay in, everything is served in ceramic dishes and silver cutlery so you can reduce your waste. The staff was very nice and helpful. I highly recommend this spot!

I visited this bakery on vacation. It was 1/2 hour before closing on March 24, 2024. The person at the counter said we had to take the order to go. We had 4 hot drinks, 4 sandwiches, and 4 cinnamon buns. totaling $87 when we reached our relatives' home, the cinnamon buns were missing. Despite my attempts to contact them, (call, text, and photo of receipt), they still have not responded. Now it is almost a month gone by and this is still not resolved. I want a credit for the $20.52 for the buns we were charged for and never received. . We flew home across country and still have not received credit nor a return call or text.

Many restaurants can create good food and Willa's does but it seems to lack customer service which is a shame. I agree with another reviewer who said Willa's could benefit from general ease and kindness. In my opinion, Willa's felt put out to serve this customer and the restaurant wasn't busy. I didn't leave with a feeling that made me want to go back even if the food is good.

Sweet place, relaxed and welcoming atmosphere and staff. The food is really good and there seems to be a lot of care and pride that goes into it. We have enjoyed the smoked trout toast, the sour cream pancakes and the BLT.

Amazingly delicious pastries and yummy breakfast! I stayed at an Airbnb that was walking distance to this place and we went both mornings. They had a Vegan pastry that my vegan friend got both days and said was delicious as well. Would return, again and again.

We loved this place. Party of 5 ordered diverse items, varying coffees, pancakes, hash, egg sandwiches, and pastries. Everything was amazing. The staff was super cool. And Mitchell's playlist was top tier. If you're in the area this should be your top choice!

I highly recommend this place for a quality brunch on a Sunday. They have great hours and an attentive staff and the food was delicious. Especially the Sour Cream Pancakes and the Sweet Potato Hash.

One of the best breakfast/brunches i've ever had. The cinnamon buns are out of this world, do not miss out on these if you're in town. The restaurant is unique and everybody in our party loved their meals. Our server Andrew was great.

I've had discouraging experiences several times at Willa's -- after spending $40 for a full breakfast plus additional tip etc, I asked for hot water in my own cup on my way out and they said it would cost $1. it's an exacting, not warm vibe in there. I've worked in service for a long time and Willa's could benefit from some general ease & kindness.
