In sports terms, this place has “lost its fastball”.
According to our party, William B’s used to be a lot better of an establishment. During our dinner, we experienced quite a bit of instances which lead me to believe that this place was below-average for a steakhouse, which contradicts what it used to be.
Let me start by saying Carrie was awesome! She was quirky and fun. She was kind, gave great recommendations, and tried to make sure we had the best experience possible.
The wedge salad was using cheap ingredients. Nothing tasted or was presented fresh. I was honestly disappointed with it.
The French Onion Soup lacked flavor, and did not possess that “IT” factor that a good French Onion has.
My wife ordered the Chilean Sea Bass, which was fine on the outside, but was clearly not cooked-through, where we found a rubbery inside. It was another lackluster dish.
I ordered a Ribeye Filet, which was ordered to be medium-rare, which showed up more along the medium side.
The drinks were drinkable, and the passionfruit ice was a nice touch, but when rating steakhouses, you have to rate them relative to each other. Compared to a McDonald’s, this place is great, but As far as fine dining goes, this place had the most underwhelming cuisine I’ve ever been served. I’m sure it might have been an off-night, but I have to call it how I see it. Be better!
