The Late 2023 Restaurant Openings to Add to Your 2024 Dining Bucket List | Eater Vegas

"The Suncoast Casino’s new modern steakhouse William B’s blends steakhouse staples with modern inclusions — think bone‑in and boneless ribeyes, lobster tail, veal chop parmigiana, shrimp cocktail — and a $250 seafood tower for four or five that features Maine lobster, king crab, shrimp, tuna poke, scallop ceviche, and all the accompanying dips and mignonettes." - Janna Karel

I expected more due to the location and price. But, my taste buds were disappointed. We ordered steak, salad, fries, and ahi tuna. The atmosphere was meh. The service was good as our waiter was very attentive.

In sports terms, this place has “lost its fastball”. According to our party, William B’s used to be a lot better of an establishment. During our dinner, we experienced quite a bit of instances which lead me to believe that this place was below-average for a steakhouse, which contradicts what it used to be. Let me start by saying Carrie was awesome! She was quirky and fun. She was kind, gave great recommendations, and tried to make sure we had the best experience possible. The wedge salad was using cheap ingredients. Nothing tasted or was presented fresh. I was honestly disappointed with it. The French Onion Soup lacked flavor, and did not possess that “IT” factor that a good French Onion has. My wife ordered the Chilean Sea Bass, which was fine on the outside, but was clearly not cooked-through, where we found a rubbery inside. It was another lackluster dish. I ordered a Ribeye Filet, which was ordered to be medium-rare, which showed up more along the medium side. The drinks were drinkable, and the passionfruit ice was a nice touch, but when rating steakhouses, you have to rate them relative to each other. Compared to a McDonald’s, this place is great, but As far as fine dining goes, this place had the most underwhelming cuisine I’ve ever been served. I’m sure it might have been an off-night, but I have to call it how I see it. Be better!

Steaks were cooked perfectly. Some flavors didn’t pair well including bulbs of garlic on the plate. Filets were tender. Baked potatoes were XL. Temp space until the new restaurant opens. Would like to dine here again when the new restaurant opens.

Steak was cooked perfectly, filet was tender. Wasn’t sure about the cooked garlic bulbs on the plate and some flavors didn’t meld right. Baked potatoes was XL. This is a temporary space while remodeling the new space. Looking forward to it.

My boyfriend and I went here for our anniversary in August & we really enjoyed our time. Our server was very sweet, explained the meal of the day (the salmon) and dessert options. She recommended a drink for me (I don’t drink often), which was really good! My favorite was probably the dessert which we ate multiple times because it was huge. I would come back if I was in town.

I love William B's! I've ate here 4 or 5 times now and they never disappoint. I decided to try the Oysters Rockefeller, French Onion Soup, Petite Wedge Salad, Margarita on the Rocks and Coffee after dinner this time and it was really delicious and I would order it again. I've also tried the Lobster Bisque Soup, the Australian Cold Water Lobster Tails, Filet with Red Wine Sauce and the Large Wedge Salad. All of these dishes were exceptional but I do wish they would bring back the Red Wine Sauce. This restaurant is classy and you can dress up or dress casual but you do need to make reservations ahead of time. The atmosphere was wonderful and the waitstaff did an amazing job. William B's is located inside the Blue Chip Casino in Michigan City Indiana, they have valet parking, plenty of free parking and handicap parking plus motorized scooters available to rent. Shout out to our Host Jordan Sharp Thank you so very much and have a fabulous day.

Google
Me and my girl both had the Australian Wagu Filet. At first it looked small for the price but after I finished the steak It was in the top 5 of best steaks I've had. The Old Fashions are amazing and loved the bread basket with the crispy bread.

Yelp
Tried the sirloin and it was surprisingly tender. I usually go for filet but this one had a great texture and strong beefy flavor. The grilled veggies on the side were seasoned just right and not overdone. The steak had a light crust and was juicy in the center. The staff was welcoming and the space was clean and not too noisy. I didn't have to wait long for my food either. Overall, a solid place for a good steak dinner.

Yelp
One of the best steaks I've ever had! The ribeye was perfectly seared on the outside, and the inside was cooked just the way I like it--medium-rare. The garlic butter topping was the perfect addition. The sides were also fantastic, particularly the crispy fries. The ambiance is modern but still comfortable. The staff is attentive, and everything arrived in a timely manner. Highly recommend this place to any steak lover!

Yelp
Slowly I pushed myself from the table. Full, happy and barely able to move. I gazed at my glass of whiskey as I took mental note of the food journey we just took. The service was great. From the hostess sitting us early to our waiter who made sure every detail was great. Chris took care of us. Even after the bar poured me a soapy Jack and coke. He made sure I got another one just right. The steak... cooked just right. I had the cowboy ribeye and the wife had the filet. Both were cooked to perfection. We shared some whipped potatoes and fired Brussels. Both good. The sorbet was a blood orange and basil!?? Whaaa but oh so good. I started with a wedge and the blue cheese and bacon great along with some strong red onion. From start to finish this was five star. By far the best part of our little trip up to blue chip casino.

Yelp
It was a cool birthday dinner. They didn't do anything special for my birthday but the food was good enough that it felt special. They weren't too busy, so we got a booth with reservations. If you try to eat here on New Year's Eve without reservations that's not going to happen, so they are typically busy around the holidays and weekend. The lamb was cooked perfectly. The chicken was lightly seasoned but excellent and tender. The atmosphere was classy and private. People were spaced out and the music was lighter enough to reduce the sound of others conversations but not enough to be distracting. The drinks were okay too and decently priced. Enjoy!

Yelp
The food was phenomenal! I started with the lobster mac and cheese, and it was easily one of the best I've ever tasted. For my main course, I went with a mediumrare steak, and it was cooked to absolute perfection--exactly as I ordered! My waitress was attentive, checked in regularly, and even helped me choose dishes with her thoughtful recommendations. It really made the experience stand out. And let's talk about the ambiance! The lighting and decor created such a warm and inviting vibe that made the whole meal feel even more special. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Yes, yes, and YES! Wow, great food. Steaks were perfectly cooked. Sprouts were amazing, taters delish! Bone in Ribeye, Filet Mignon to die for, the blood orange and basil Palate Cleanser was incredible, and the chocolate layer Cake was so rich and dense.... Chris was our wait person. He was great. Really took care of us and took time to talk with us as well. We sat in a booth with a good view of the dining room. It was darkly lit but felt good, luxurious in a way. Overall it was a great experience and I highly recommend going here. Nom nom!

Yelp
Hands down one of the best restaurants at a casino! Let me get into it! The food is amazing at William B's steakhouse! I started with the lobster Mac and cheese to start and I have to say it was hands down one of the best I have ever had. I also got a steak medium rare and it was exactly how I ordered it! The service was too notch too! My waitress checked in often with me and even recommended dishes to me which I thought was helpful in my deciding. The atmosphere or ambiance like I like to call it, perfect! The lighting and the Decor really made the experience even more special! Overall, I will say it's one my list of steak restaurants I will gladly come to again!

Yelp
I was greeted by the bartender saying "gonna be a while til I get to you." Out food came out and was actually very delicious. Then, on the way home, realized they never brought out the crab cakes I ordered so I'm out the $25 for those. Overall, good food, mediocre service at best.

Yelp
I had high expectations since this was supposed to be a classic steakhouse experience. However, due to some sloppy service, a missed opportunity & some overcooked Grouper, I had to give it less stars for my review. There were four of us dining in the Steakhouse. We each ordered an appetizer and entree. I added a salad. Photos of my meal are added to the review. My Mom has the escargot, my Dad has the shrimp cocktail (same as me) and my Aunt ordered the Crab Cakes. Escargot came out bubbling and smelled strong of garlic and boy were we eager to try them! We had a spill of water on our table at that point and they got soggy and drenched. Needless to say, they were no longer the best tasting. The crab cakes could have been a lot hotter as they were just lukewarm. The shrimp cocktail had four jumbo shrimp and were the BEST thing I ate all night. You also receive a nice breadbasket (never refilled for some reason) with three buns (there were four of us, simple math would tell you to add a bun!) and some larger cracker style Parmesan Cheese crisps (which were better than the cold buns). I ordered a Wedge Salad with bleu cheese. It was large enough for two people. It was hard to cut with the knife given as it was pretty dull. But it's just lettuce so I managed. Everything on the salad was fresh and it had two large bacon strips on top. Our waiter, Chris did forget several things through the night: couldn't find the pepper mill, forgot cocktail forks, no steak knives, never refilled drinks but maybe once and seldom checked on our food quality. When someone that appeared to be a Manager walked over to ask how things were going, this is the missed opportunity, as we stated we had a spill of water and ruined the escargots along with the tablecloth being soaked, he offered to get us a fresh dry Napkin for the side of the table that was wet. Definitely not the high stakes steakhouse I thought we were at because I would have immediately replaced the escargots and ordered a quick table cloth change. That never happened. Just before the entrees we received a small cup of palate cleanser shaved ice which was made with pear and cherry? Not sure what our waiter said since we could hardly hear him most of the night. Entrees were served. My parents both ordered the ribeyes. My Father received his medium (best way to get your steak) and my Mom ordered hers well. She cut her steak open and it was also medium. It was sent back only to come back much more overcooked along with the now missing béarnaise sauce. My Aunt ordered the same as me: the Grouper special but since I have an allergy to jasmine I asked for no rice. The entree was a special and was to be served on a bed of jasmine coconut rice with broccolini. I only asked for no jasmine coconut rice. However my grouper was much larger than hers and I received four cold stalks of asparagus. I know they shouldn't have been served cold since they were grilled and soggy. What was that about? The Grouper was overcooked for sure. Tough and even way crusted on one edge. Not the best piece of fish I've ever had. As I waited for the Manager guy to come back I think he avoided our table for the remainder of the evening. Not the best experience. Not entirely the worst either. I rate it right in the middle but there are definitely areas for improvement!

Yelp
Excellent food, the oysters and my filet mignon were delicious. The drinks were very well done, although the Long Island I wasn't a huge fan of. It's on the pricier side, but if you want some fine dining this is the place.

Yelp
Overall a pretty decent steakhouse with the exception of the wine list.....it needs work. We started with the seared tuna & stuffed mushrooms. The tuna portion was extremely small (looks big in my pic) but it was really good. The mushrooms were huge. They were stuffed with sausage, spinach, Asiago & a touch of cream cheese. Delicious! For entrees we ordered a couple of 7 oz filets, braised short ribs, seafood risotto, side of asparagus & a side of green beans. The sides were nothing special however everyone enjoyed their entrees. It's definitely worth a try.

Yelp
Wonderful place for a fancy dinner. I've only ever had steak here as an entree. Came last night to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint! I highly recommend making a reservation, to guarantee a spot. Husband and I both ordered the filet with crab stuffed shrimp, his with Maytag blue cheese topping, mine with a red wine Demi glaze. Steak was excellent, cooked to perfection. Shrimp were fantastic. We ordered a baked potato as a side and pepper Jack potatoes Au gratin. Hefty but delicious! Au gratin was silky and cheesy. We shared key lime pie for dessert and it was the perfect finish to a wonderful dinner. Service was great, a little slow but that's to be expected.

Yelp
We had the most enjoyable experience dining at William B's on Thursday night. We had the pleasure of Rose serving us for the evening. We dine out often and this was the best service we have experienced in awhile. She greeted us promptly, inquired on how our evening was going, provided quick cocktails to start and delivered each course without making us feel rushed. We food was amazing and huge portions. We even brought enough home for a light meal the following day. Thank you Rose and William Bs for a wonderful, relaxing meal. When we return again, we will definitely request Rose!

Yelp
Not worth the wait. I went and ordered a steak the way i prefer and the cook could not get the steak how I wanted after not 1 not 2 times not 3 but 4 times! I was just so frustrated at that point! The service was not all that great either. Definitely won't be back here.. Wish it was like it used to be.
google avatar

Kenya C.

Yelp
I came here to have drinks and as soon as I walked to the bar a Bartender by the name of Rose was extremely rude! She looked at me with such disgust and whenever I tried to speak she cut me off. I asked to speak to a manager and all he said was he'd speak to her at the end of the night. It was a bartender by the name of Ben that ended up making my drinks and he was really good.

Yelp
William B's is one of the best steakhouses that I have ever dined at. Extremely comfortable dining experience. Food is pricey, but taste so good that it feels like a bargain. Service could not have been any better.
google avatar

Yelp
Not worth the wait. We have tried to get reservations here many times without success as they are always very busy. We were finally able to get in and wow what a disappointment. Service was not prompt through no fault of the waitress she was swamped with tables. Our drinks sat empty our water sat empty. I sent my chicken Oscar back. chicken breast was way overdone even the béarnaise sauce couldn't add moisture to this. My husband should have also sent his meal back however he was so hungry he just ate it anyway. His grouper did not taste fresh it tasted previously frozen. And the lobster on top was super rubbery. Not the quality you would expect from a fine steakhouse.

Yelp
My wife and I came here for our Anniversary. There seemed to be some kind of mix up with our reservation. The food was great, one of the best steaks I have had from a steakhouse. The price of the food was something i almost did not expect. 75$ for a steak. The service was a tad on the awkward side though. They had a decent bar but things were a bit on the slow side.
google avatar

Yelp
Horrible! The worst food I've ever had. We spent over $200 and it was literally the worst! Let's start with the appetizers. My wife ordered lobster bisque and it was a very small piece of lobster served on an empty plate, then the server poured "soup" over the lobster. The base was bland and tasted like the cook forgot to season and use a base of cheese or tomato. The "soup" was white and tasted like flour and water. My wife and I don't complain, but we returned it. I forgot to mention, she received the lobster bisque she originally ordered after the server brought the wrong soup in the first place. Entrees order were oyster rocker fella, filet mignon, seafood risotto, mac&cheese, green beans. The rockerfella was ok. Filet mignon was tender but not seasoned well. The risotto was over cooked and bland as well. The Mac and cheese was not cooked enough and although I saw cheese - it didn't taste like mad and cheese. And as usual, the green beans were dipped in boiling water for less than a minute, thus served as healthy as possible but no taste. The server was pleasant and tried really hard to make the evening good. Atmosphere was nice as well, but this was the worst meal I've ever had.

Yelp
Wonderful steakhouse! Absoluetly delicious filet and asparagus (im a very big aspargus fan) the service is unmatched, the manager pat and the bartender mike made sure that my birthday was a super special occassion, mike offered some wines for me to try because i had just turned 21 and didnt know what to try and the manager gave us a personalized birthday cake on the house! The food was amazing and the decor, environment, and food prep was immaculate and very classy. Our server was very helpful and attentive.
google avatar

Kirk E.

Yelp
Oysters were great our bartender was friendly and the creamed spinach was awesome. If I was simply rating the appetizers it would be 4.5 stars but this is a steak house and the steak is something that I would rate a grade below Applebee's. I ordered a bone in ribeye Pittsburg style oscar . The steak was cooked well done char was good but the steak was less than a 1/4 in thick. Oh they also forgot the oscar (which was removed from the bill). When you are spending $50+ dollars on a steak one can expect better. Save your money go to a real steak house or ruby Tuesday's

Yelp
I hoped that you couldn't wrong with a meal at a steak house, but I was proven wrong by William B's. First, the server was herself a little hard to digest. She had an attitude, and she was not very attentive. Come to think of it, she never even asked if our steaks were cooked ok after we tried them. Regardless, she was the least of the problems with this meal. My husband and I both ordered a house salad. I ordered the French Onion soup. We both ordered the filet mignon, and he also had a salted baked potato. The salad was perhaps the most disgusting salad I've ever been served at a restaurant. This $11 house salad included two wilted butter lettuce leaves, two slices of spoiled cucumber, two wedges of tomato, some carrot strings and maybe some purple cabbage. I immediately removed the 2 small discs of spoiled cucumber, and was willing to just let it go until I realized that I literally had a bowl of old hamburger garnishes. I politely told the server that the salad was bad and I didn't want it. She said I'll make you one myself. While I suppose that was a nice gesture, at that point I didn't want to see a second attempt, nor could I justify buying this salad for $11, even if the veggies weren't spoiled. French onion soup was very average. Honestly, any chain restaurant could have served it, and when I say chain restaurant, I'm talking places I won't eat, like Cheddar's or Applebee's. Our steaks were over cooked. Since our server didn't check back, and we had to the realization very early that this meal was a mistake, we just sucked it up and ate it. However, we ordered medium rare and my steak was medium and my husband's was medium-well. My husband said his potato was, a potato. I would say if you're at the Blue Chip casino and you need food, maybe order uber eats? I guarantee it will be less than the price tag at William B's and honestly any food would have been better.
google avatar

Morris N.

Yelp
William B's is located inside the Blue Chip casino. There's valet and also plenty of self parking in the garage or outside. There's a nice bar where you can order some pre-dinner drinks or dine as well. The main dining area has good ambiance. I would say minimum attire is nice jeans and shirt. The server was good. For starters, we had lobster bisque which was good. For entrees, we had stuffed shrimp which had a nice sauce. The king crab was good as well. Sides are extra. The wine list had a nice variety. There are around 6 desert options. Carrot cake was excellent. Reservations are recommended especially on weekends. Expect to spend $60-100/pp.

Yelp
Stayed at the hotel 01/25. Wanted to take my mom and my dear husband to this restaurant (he LIVES FOR steak, but we rarely go out to a steak house because I am not a fan of steak and I can't cook a steak, especially his medium-rare way for the life of me). So, we went here for dinner. I will start with the goods: 1)They have a super thin bread thing which tasted of herbs and parmesan cheese. WHOA. I could've just eaten that and be fine, lol. 2)we were seated promptly. (Then again we had reservations and arrived on time). 3)My husband loved his prime rib 4)My seafood was fresh 5)My mom liked her chicken/crab pasta dish (she is a tough cookie to please!) Here come the negatives: 1)Upon our arrival, the hostess said a booth would take 15 mins. We settle for a table (upon walking to our table, WE WERE RIGHT NEXT TO AN EMPTY BOOTH!!!!) maybe they were reserving it for a celebrity, NOT. 2)our server was so slow. She was very nice, but barely came around. We felt neglected. We would double up our requests because we knew we wouldn't see her for a while (i.e. we asked to wrap up the leftovers and at the same time asked for the check). Well, that's not a total lie because she came around really quickly when we paid the check (WITH CASH). Go figure. I am glad my husband was in heaven and our seafood was fresh. But the snotty neglectful service I paid IN CASH FOR, I could have done without.

Yelp
Fabulous menu. Great wine selections. Always a must for fine dining!!! Wish there were more vegan options, but it will come!

Yelp
Waitress was great! Food was too expensive and is comparable to Red Lobster. Very disappointed. My Lobster was deep fried and the breading was disgusting. A perfectly good lobster deep fried? I had to pick all the breading off of the lobster. The crab cakes were mushy. Hardly any sauce. Bummed.

Yelp
Did not make a reservation but was able to seat the two of us right away, Friday evening approximately 430 pm. We ordered the Italian mushrooms, French onion soup, 7 oz filet, baked potato and asparagus. All very tasty. Service was fine, but took some time to get our check when we asked for it. Biggest complaint was it was freezing in there! Air conditioning blowing so cold we had our coats on and other guests were complaining. Our server said they cannot control the Air because the casino does. We are in a hurry because it was so cold.

Yelp
First time diner. From the moment being greeted by manager Patrick at the host stand to the presentation of the bill by our server, customer service was top notch. Beautiful intimate setting. Food was more than I ever expected. Our server was Barb and she went over the top to ensure our experience was amazing. She described and presented each item ordered perfectly. Suggestion of wine pairing with our meal was spot on also. Will definitely be returning!!

Yelp
I expected this place to be excellent. It was a fine steak house in a casino and we couldn't get a seat but we did manage a place at the bar top and ordered bruschetta/caprese with heirloom tomatoes and grilled shrimp and it was really great! It made my night and the server was ca even though the place was very busy.

Yelp
So I planned a great night out bought ring side seats to the HFC event at the casino and made 10 pm reservations. The Fights were running long so I walked over to the steakhouse and explaining myself they said no problem we will see you after the event. Try to get here before 11. I was excited I could stay to watch the main event and then enjoy a nice steak. Walk back to the restaurant at 1104 and are told sorry we are CLOSED. I will never be back to this venue

Yelp
Went to William B's for our anniversary dinner. In past years we've had celebratory dinners at the Copper Rock at the Four Winds casino as well as Binyon's at the Horseshoe so thought this year we'd give William B a try.  A mistake.  The bread basket contained one plain roll and 3 raisin rolls. Raisin? Odd that basically a Danish was in the bread basket. The calamari appetizer was fine and the accompanying aioli was very good. My husband's Caesar salad was fine but nothing special. My wedge was good but was enough salad for 3 people, served on a plate far too small for the amount of food. It was awkward and messy to cut the wedge. The real review happens now with our steak orders since this is a steakhouse. My husband is a connoisseur of the bone-in ribeye. He loves them and will order them if they are on the menu. The steak was supposed to be an 18 oz beautiful steak. I highly doubt the steak served was even 10 ounces and was maybe 3/4 inch thick. Even the bone was teeny tiny. The steak looked like one you could get at any local supermarket or chain steak restaurant. Nothing you'd expect from a high-end steakhouse. He was so disappointed. Had the steak tasted good we could have forgiven the rest but it was tough, stringy and had a lot of gristle. Overall a huge disappointment.  My husband even pulled up a picture of the bone-in he had the previous year at another casino steakhouse in the area. The difference was laughable (and the price only marginally different).  My New York strip, which was (supposed to be) a smaller cut than the bone-in dwarfed it.  Taste-wise it was fine but slightly over-cooked and definitely not worth the price. Both steaks were served with a very nasty sweet wine sauce of some kind...almost like very thin grape jelly. It in no way complemented the steak and was not mentioned in the menu description. We asked for clean plates and transferred our steaks from the saucy plate to the clean plate. (If management reads this review i recommend you either nix the sauce altogether or reprint your menu to indicate that all the steaks will have sauce poured over them). We had coffee and my husband ordered a shot of Bailey's on the side. The Baileys was served in a MARTINI glass which was filled to the brim. I estimate it was about 4-5 shots of liquor (told the waiter we weren't paying for more than one shot and actually told the him to return it and bring a normal sized shot glass of the alcohol)  We had mentioned to the host that it was our anniversary. And honestly I thought that they might treat us to a free cup of coffee or something to acknowledge the celebration.  At the end of the meal when we were talking to the waiter I said something about our anniversary and he said I should have told him. I said I had told the host. The waiter left and came back with 2 candles, stuck them in the remains of our dessert, lit them and told us to make a wish. While I appreciated the effort it was lame and i guess the icing on the cake of a hugely disappointing meal.  We spent over $250. I've gotten better quality steaks at the local grocery store. Next celebratory meal will not be at William Bs.

Yelp
This review is based on my third visit this year. My first two visits were so much better. Service was never an issue despite the shortage of staff. Drinks were constantly refilled. The bread basket was awesome. But my main course and side last night were terrible. The chicken breast was chewy and absolutely gross. The baked potato was cold. The melted cheese on top had hardened and impossible to eat. (I wondered if it wasn't left over from the night before as my guest and I were seated right after they opened.). At a table nearby a customer had to send his steak back twice as it wasn't cooked as ordered.

Yelp
Very rude people here. Highly recommended NOT going. I could hardly get a word across to the host without her interrupting me. Managers were very rude and didn't care about anything we had to say. Needless to say we didn't even get to eat because everyone's attitude there was awful and I wouldn't waste my money here. We went to Galveston's instead and our waiter was FANTASTIC. Food was so amazing!!

Yelp
This is your typical white linen table cloth place, otherwise known as "fine dining". Everything was just that, typical. Small portions, large price, everything ala-cart. We had the short rib, yes, I said rib as in just one rib!. It looked as though it had only half the meat on the bone when served. It came with a very small scoop with something called cheddar jalepeno mashed potatoes with just two very small pieces of broccoli. Cost was $38.00. Then there was the yellow perch that was smothered with a butter and caper sauce with a scant few strange looking potato slices and the two (yet again) two very small pieces of broccoli. Cost $32.00. A side salad was also ordered for an extra seven bucks! I have had bigger salads at a Denny's for much less! Our only reason for going there in the first place was that we were with another couple who raved about this place. We were not at all impressed!

Yelp
This is a gem. I can't believe we have gone so long without ever having tried William B's. The bread/crackers that are served first, with 3 different types of butter, is amazing. We ordered 2 appetizers, dinner and dessert, all of which were great. We ordered steaks and filets, all of which were cooked to perfect temperature. We enjoyed the lobster mac and cheese as a side, and I would highly recommend! The service was extremely attentive and we enjoyed every part of this meal.

Yelp
I ordered two 8 oz. lobster tails. My first trail was under cooked which was soft and mushy. I was waiting for the waitress coming around and check how was everything. However, she never showed up. I had to flag her down and tell her about the first lobster tail that was undercooked and I told her to take the other lobster tail bringing back to the kitchen to cook it more. She just said sorry. She shoulda talked to her manager about undercooked lobster tail. For $60 lobster tail, I expected it to be cooked properly.

Yelp
We stay at Blue Chip Casino and resort about once a month... it's a one and a half-hour drive for us, and is a special treat and reward. We play slots for fun, and have some great meals. William B's Steakhouse is always the special event. Friday night we kept our 7:30 reservation... they moved the chair at our table, so we could push my wheelchair up to the table... Chris, our server, brought our drinks right away and explained the specials. We ordered those; they're usually the BEST! the appetizer, crab-stuffed manicotti, was AMAZING! then we each had prime-rib and vegetable soup ~ sooo good! There was also the usual naan-cracker and warm dinner-roll basket with 3 herb butters as accompaniment. We each had a special entree, and they were excellent. His fillet and scampi were terrific... I had one of his grilled shrimp, which was huge and delicious... my grouper was sensational, so tender and meaty, served over orange rice with some broccoli. I took half of it home, which i thoroughly enjoyed again the next day. He also loved his leftover steak. For dessert we missed our usual souffle, which is discontinued, but their dessert cart should not be missed! Chris recommended the key lime pie, which was delicious, and we shared it with the bomba. LOVED THEM! We'll have fun in the future, discovering new desserts, because they'll certainly be worthy!

Yelp
Pros: The devor is nice. It is easy to park. Cons: The King crab legs from Alaska were over-priced. The service is slow.

Yelp
Stayed here the day before a wedding for a mancation. Ate the swordfish and it was delicious. After eating the fish I went back to my room to get something before heading to the casino. Good thing I did. I got a phone call and was talking for a few minutes. After I got off the phone I started to feel bad. About five minutes later I was on the toilet and it was not good. After, I was thinking that the food came out really quick so it must have been frozen. Don't know how fresh it was. Bad times!!!!!!! Will never eat there again

Yelp
High end steakhouse, that has a good selection. We ordered the Bacon wrapped scallops that were incredibly tender. My husband ordered a New York Strip steak that was huge & I ordered the Crab Cake appetizer as my entree, with delicious creamed spinach & Lobster Mac & Cheese. Everything was perfect. Multiple attentive servers for each table. We come often, never disappointed.

Yelp
I went there with my girlfriend while we stayed at Blue Chip's hotel. I am not a gambler but my girlfriend got me to go based on the dining options. In all honesty, this place provided me with the most offensive dining experience i have ever had. Their wine list is limited, however their prices on some of their higher end wines cannot be beat when compared to Chicago area steakhouses. They were selling a bottle of Caymus Reserve for $190. This is a lot to spend on a bottle, but given the fact that we would not be able to get that price at Chicago steakhouse, we decided to order it. The server took our drink order and then left to get the bottle. She came back to our table and asked us if we were aware the bottle we just ordered was $190. We told the server we were aware and would still like to order it. The server then returned, after a while, with a bottle of the lower tier Caymus (respectable, but nowhere close to a $190 bottle), not Caymus Reserve. The server displayed the bottle and I asked the server to check if they had Caymus Reserve. The server then went to the manager. The manager, on the phone at the time, told the server that is all they had. The server came back to our table, advised us this is all they had and that is what we would be having. We decided to decline the bottle of Caymus and go for one of the correctly labeled Silver Oaks. Realizing that we were not happy, the manager sat with us for a little bit and discussed some exciting wines that they would be serving soon. The only thing the manager had to do was apologize, and that would have been fine. But there was no apology in trying to sell us a grossly overpriced bottle and hope we would be stupid enough not to notice. The steaks were not that great and they do not have food runners, so the service is painfully slow. Overall, a pretty horrible experience

Yelp
This is the steakhouse at the Blue Chip. Many friends have just raved about this place so we decided to take my boyfriend's mom there for her birthday. Well, I think my friends are not used to good food. Many don't seem to ever even leave the area. So compared to real restaurants in real cities this doesn't hold a flame. None of us were in the mood for a steak, so maybe their steaks rock. But it started with the most awkward server ever. He seemed like a nice guy, but he completed mumbled and you couldn't hear him right next to him. He was much more suited for a Steak n Shake role. He said our food came a la carte and then seemed to remembered the dishes we ordered did come with a side. The food. Ugh. I got the pasta of the day for $17. It looked like something they whipped up b/c they all the extra ingredients laying around. It was a sort of ratatouille. They had tons of shrimp in there, I'll give them that. But spinach noodles, spaghetti sauce with mushrooms and shrimp was just not good. The boyfriend had red snapper that was mediocre and the mom of course did not have any complaints but she just had perch. I'll never go back, but hey, if you don't know any better I'm sure it's great. But we had just had David Burke's Primehouse the week before. Can't even remotely compare.

Yelp
Among the finest steak houses in the Midwest. Wonderful service staff and delicious entries. We try to come at least once a month.

Yelp
The Service was the star. I was extremely impressed throughout the night. The food is another story. A few bad things, but overall not terrible. Definitely nowhere near the quality for the price we paid. Our server was very attentive and also a great salesman! Don't forget that this restaurant and most restaurants similar to this are completely a la carte. We realized this and planned on ordering one side to share. When we ordered our entrees our server asked us what sides we would like in a way which seemed implied it came with one. We were duped! After we confirmed with our server it was indeed a la carte, we canceled one of our three sides, which were all large enough for three generous individual portions. Our server suggested the chicken & rice soup and I bit. It was horrible. Literally no chicken and was embarrassingly bland. Our server apologized for the missing chicken, he said he forgot to add it. He offered to make it right, but I just wanted it gone at that point, so it was removed from the check. We both shared the Crab Cake appetizer, it was very good. It was two smaller sized crab cakes, but it was perfect for two people. I thought the palate cleanser (a light, fruity sorbet) was a nice touch. It was brought out after the appetizers were cleared. We were in a steak house so we both ordered steak. I had the 14 oz New York Strip for $39 and my lovely lady had the 7 oz Filet for $35. Both steaks were good, but we've both had better. Both a little on the bland side but the temp was spot on. We both shared two sides: Potatoes Au Gratin and the Creamed Spinach. The potatoes were my favorite dish of the night. Incredible flavor and actually a bit spicy. Loved it. The Creamed Spinach was far too salty and far too creamy. The amount of cream almost ruined it, but we just worked around the soup-ish areas. I probably wont be back. The Blue Chip is a pretty dated and tacky casino in general, I'd rather drive a few more miles to Four Winds in Michigan. Sorry, William B's, but Four Winds has a better Steak House, too!

Yelp
Awesome customer service in the bar, went way out of their way to accommodate our large party without reservations. The drinks and food were great. Sat at the bar with 13 and never felt like we were a nuisance due to the staff. Food was great too, get the bacon wrapped scallops for sure.

Yelp
Horrible service. They didnt take us at our reserved time and food was inedible due to it being so salty. Service took 3.5 hours. I informed server of my Celiac disease (gluten allergy) and she was incredibly unprofessional and also uneducated. For a steakhouse, this is really unusual. Unfortunately they served me something I'm allergic to and am now really sick as a result even after informing the staff up front & asking to speak to the chef (which they didnt allow me to do). I could see another table had issues with our server also so unsure if this was specific to her or the restaurant in general. I am very disappointed in the service and restaurant as it did come highly recommended. I would not return.
