Google
Terrible customer service! I made a 2 team teaser on 1/20/24, one tied and one lost, I wasn’t refunded my money! I called three different times with no help! These people think I’m “stupid and or crazy”! I’m going to the “corporate office” and / or the Nevada Gaming Board!

David R.

Google
Awful. First, the website looks and performs like it was designed by a 5-year old. The interface is clunky and difficult to navigate. I have not tried the app. It might be better but if it's anything like their site, there's no way I want to navigate it on my phone. Some really basic stuff is hard to access, like your betting history. Bets on events that ended 5 minutes before now take several clicks to even view and when you click the "show more" for older bets, good luck! They never load. Final straw for me was when I couldn't even log in at the end of a college football day, despite having all of my info. The Log in button didn't direct anywhere. The AZ customer service is pathetically slow. There are loads of other sites that are ready and willing to take your money (and let you access it easily). Skip Caesars (aka William Hill US).

Tek M.

Google
Difficult to contact. But they take our money very easy and quickly. And pays back is confusion. Like when we pick parlay round robin for 4 leg by 2s and 3 team wins how much should we get paid.

Robert R.

Google
Cant log on every since pro football start. Always errors login. Waited 2 hrs on hold yesterday. Same thing today. Should have opened phone account at other sites. Do not recommend.

Paul H.

Google
Been in Vegas over a week and visited hooters casino daily, with bets totalling over $5000 without a problem, but on 1 ticket for a 50 round Robin with 2 winners should have returned $180 but was mistangly entered by the writer as a 200 parlay. I contacted wh customer service and was assured by ariel baggett that it would be rectified, and I would be contacted by the district manager first thing Thursday morning, this didn't happen, no contact from manager at all, I contacted Mr baggett again who said the manager said the bet would stand as entered and it was my fault for not noticing the error at the time, despite assuring me the day before it would be rectified. Anyone in Vegas should avoid wh as they lie, there is no shortage of straight casinos in Vegas and only place bets at wh if you want to deal with liars and thieves.

Chris C.

Google
Masters bettors get screwed! If a horse is scratched and doesn't race, all bets on that horse get refunded. Not so with Dustin Johnson at the Masters according to the MGM, Boyd Gaming, Caesars, CG Tech and William Hill (the largest Nevada sportsbook operator in terms of number of sportsbooks and market share). They told bettors that Johnson's lack of a single stroke in the year's first major championship still results in a lost futures bet. This amounts to MILLIONS of dollars for these crooks. Keep that in mind when you place a bet or plan a trip to Vegas.

Darren

Google
Literally the worst gaming app in the US. Customer Service is horrible. Rude agents that talk back. Long wait time for wagers to be graded. Currently waiting for two hours to grade my wager! If it's a losing bet they grade it immediately.

Sean M.

Google
Absolutely the worst app and customer service ever. It takes a week to get an email response and if you call in you get some illiterate person who cannot help with any problem. Terrible company I don't understand how people still wager with this trash.

Yelp
My William Hill experience has mostly been problem-free compared to other reviewers. Maybe it's the degenerate in me, but I have 4 sports betting apps and like to compare the odds. None of them (Westgate, Circa, Station, Wm. Hill) are a whole lot different on daily wagers but they can and do vary quite a bit on props and futures betting, so sometimes it pays to compare. Hill's odds are usually competitive. Ever get stuck behind some fool two minutes before kickoff and he's dilly-dallying, unsure of what bet to make? It's probably illegal to shoot him in the back of the head, so you end up missing out on your bet. William Hill has kiosks that are simple to use, allowing you to bypass lines when the betting window is busy. The kiosk and the phone app are devices that allow you to avoid gamblers who don't know what to bet BEFORE going to the window. I check my balance for accuracy and Wm. Hill has never short-changed me nor even made a mistake on the account in the 3 or 4 years I've had them.  Their workers are helpful and friendly (props to Jerry at Poker Palace for his pleasant demeanor).  The app seems to be consistently up and running fine, barring the occasional system-wide problem.  And while we're unable to make bets on some apps at 6:00 a.m., Hill is open for business...a nice feature for bettors who have early morning jobs to get to. Another convenient plus is the ability to deposit money into your Wm. Hill account at hundreds of locations around town, including 7-Elevens. I recommend getting William Hill's app and let them give you $50 to play with just for joining.  See for yourself, but I can't honestly say I've had any issues with William Hill's app or betting window so maybe they've worked out their problems.

Yelp
Absolutely incompetent and unusable at this point. Go with other online sportsbook instead. Had a minor issue with account. Off-shore agent said it'll be fixed within 24 hours and someone will get back to me. A week later and after multiple calls/emails later, nothing. Escalations and emails have no results. Went to a kiosk where an agent said he personally sent an escalation request, again nothing.

G C.

Yelp
This is a good app when it works. When it doesn't then the problems begin. Support is having to deal with a set of standard questions that gets into a never ending loop. There's no way to talk to a fucking 'live' person. It's so frustrating. It's best to use another betting site rather than deal with WH's online support.
google avatar

Jon V.

Yelp
Lousy customer service in person AND via email. It sees the employees they hire are so incompetent. One says one thing abd the other says another thing. It's a merry go around and no results of corrective action.
google avatar

D C.

Yelp
They are scammers. I placed a bet in their app for a baseball game on the 29th only to have them change the game to the 30th in the app. The 39th game was a win and the 30th was a loss. I also sent customer service a screenshot of the bet because I took one to email it to them and they are saying that it is the 30th although it clearly says the 39th.. DO NOT place bets in the app or with them. Like I said, they are scammers who are incompetent and can obviously can't read.

Yelp
I've been on the WillHill app since 2014 and I'm officially done with these incompetent buffoons. - I like to play in-game wagering at times. Whenever your bet is in the process of approval, if there is a line change there is supposed to be a prompt that asks you if you still want to wager the new (read: less advantageous) line. The last several times there has been NO prompt and you are automatically given the lesser line/price/whatever. Most times, if not in all of these instances, I would not have placed the wager. When you call and speak to the CS line (a) you get a lot of attitude and a long wait time (b) they refuse to refund the bet in these instances. I am a very small time bettor, so it's pretty sad that they work that hard to take my $10-$20. So either they're incompetent or corrupt. Take your pick. - As I mentioned before their CS is about the unfriendliest that I have ever experienced. A lot of unnecessary attitude. For as much as they screw up, this is one thing that they should try to be better about. Don't hold your breath though. lol - They have long had a promo where if you deposit $50 on your initial deposit (upon sign up), they will match it with another $50. I was unaware of the promo when I signed up and placed $40 in the account. It would have been nice if the person that had signed me up had mentioned the promo so I could have tossed another $10 on the app to receive the bet match. Cheap company with non-existent customer service. Thanks a lot. - Deposits to the app take an inordinate amount of time to get added to your account. I made a deposit at 9:30 am to bet the 10 am NFL football games, but when kickoff came the deposit was still not available for betting! Seriously? That is sheer incompetence with their hub. Do you not want people to actually use your app? My experience with WH is that they very much have a "take it or leave it" attitude towards their customers. Like what they give you, eat it and smile or .....well, who cares? The William Hill experience. No more for me. I'll just stick with another companies sports betting app going forward. 1 star.

Farhad I.

Yelp
William Hill sports book is a Joke. Should be called Benny Hill. The max bet on baseball season over unders is 2k...after that they mive the line and let you play 500 at a time. Go to Circa or Westgate sportsbook. They let you put 10k or more. Forget the small timers like William Hill.
google avatar

Blair S.

Yelp
Awful as ever - they have done nothing to improve and don't care. Worst sports book I have ever experienced . I am past due for elevating my concerns to the General Manger of the Silverton. -

Cristian R.

Yelp
DO NOT USE THEIR APP DO NOT BET WITH WILLIAM HILL. 1. If you use their app it will allow you to deposit your money but will not allow you to withdrawal your money back into your bank account 2.When you call customer service they will always refer to making a case and give a reference number for a resolution team to either send you an email or call back and they never reach back nor send an email 3. It's been six months and I am still having to go in person to withdraw my money that I deposited via my bank account Betting with MGM has better odds and way better app functionality... Please look at the ODDs with BET MGM before even thinking of betting with William Hill.

Yelp
I was loyal to William Hill for a very long time since they got to Vegas just after the Super Bowl, I had to cut ties with them despite all the negative reviews on them I will start might've been the consumer until they happened to me. I won a bet on the Super Bowl prop: will the lead change in the final minutes of the 4th! The lead changed in the in the last 0:11. Oh, so not only that they were down for three days right after Super Bowl but the mark my ticket as a loser I did so much research on that ruling I finally got a verified testimonial on that ruling and now that you even Google, or look it up to research the first thing on the ruling comes up with these exact words. Even the customer service person that was helping me thought it might've been a mistake but when it was up held. I asked him for some kind of verification on that ruling on they couldn't say or provide anything... only to get my name and number just in case they decide to pay it out. And I had to take it up with the gaming board if I wanted to dispute it just glad there's other options Current update: I did file a dispute, and just got the results back and I won and they are required to pay the money within 20 days, though I feel like they deserve in a harsher punishment I'll take it

Yelp
It was my first time betting with William hill inside the Rio Las Vegas. I Decided to go away from bet mgm and try something new. There is an older African American woman whom I believe is in her 60-70s whom I placed my bet with. I asked that all my bets be money line . Paid my 100 dollars . Printed the ticket , folded it put it in my pocket and went about my day. when I came back later happier then ever ready to collects my winnings First one in line. It turns out the employee had made a mistake. Employee agreed that it was an employee mistake but they refused to pay me and sent me away. This was the ticket the 6 leg parlay which lost due to the employee clicking spread instead of money line. It's hard as it is to hit a parlay. then when you got someone who clicks the wrong thing. asked them to check the cameras and they refused. Those cameras are casino cameras you would clearly be able to see and read my lips. They sent me to hell. They said it was 50 percent my fault , 50 percent theres For not double checking. the Woman speaks English You come to professionals and ask them to do their job. I'm beginning to suspect they make mistakes like this on purpose due to the head employee stating it was a common thing with "that particular employee"! I won't be playing with them until they decide to make it right and I will use other sports betting. and I'd never speak negative on an innocent persons name but that lady and William hill owe 1400 dollars.

Karen C.

Yelp
Went to make some Super Bowl prop bets today. They have a booklet of about 25 pages with around 50 prop bets on each page. In past years, each prop bet was identified by a number, so you could easily tell the customer service person what you wanted. This year, though, there are no numbers to identify which bet you want. You have to go to the counter and the person has to search through hundreds of bets in the computer to find the one you want. And a lot of the bets in the booklet couldn't be found in the system, so I couldn't make the bets I wanted to make. I cannot even imagine what it will be like tomorrow and Sunday, when lines of people want to make multiple prop bets. I ended up going to a different casino.

David S.

Yelp
The worst app in Nevada!! There's always a problem & customer support is nonexistent.

D K.

Yelp
Use another app. This app always has problems. Can never bet when u want. They don't wanna take my money I guess

Dennis K.

Yelp
These MFS trash on my soul they will hurry up and make sure you lose yo tickets so you won't hit I'm not leaving no star because it's not worth it word up that's what's wrong with Vegas they make money off everything but don't wanna pay nun don't use this app it's a scam

Michel M.

Yelp
I bet on who is gonna pass groups World Cup 2022 , is not a lot of money is only 10.5 , and my Money is gone , cause they told me That I bet on games which I never did it
google avatar

Hoan T.

Yelp
I would give zero star if I could. App down over the big Super Bowl event and you can't cash your ticket. I am glad I am a local because I feel bad for all the tourists that got stuck with a winning ticket they can't bet and have to leave town. People come here from all over for a big event like this only to be let down by your failure.
google avatar

John D.

Yelp
This company is the absolute worst. They do not have anyone available for customer service. Their mobile kiosks NEVER work!!! And I Find it hard to believe the hundreds of live wagers that I have made, always move out of my favor and into the books favor. Do not give this company your money!

Juggy G.

Yelp
This bullshit with pulling up a chair and camping out in front of the kiosk has to stop. Figure out your bets before wasting everybody's time
google avatar

Johnny A.

Yelp
App works great, and I've never had a single issue depositing &/or cashing out, and I use the WH Debit card daily. The process is so painless and streamlined that I can't help but comment/respond to some of these other reviews.... HAS to be user error, or disgruntled gamblers.

Kevin B.

Yelp
Great place. First time visiting. Cool place to hang out and place some sports bet. Don't know why people keep mentioning the app when it's a physical place.

Jonathab W.

Yelp
I've been a customer with William hill for over 5 years now. It wasn't too bad at first. But now they are just a complete sh*t show. Last months Super Bowl debacle. And now they are refusing to payout a nascar bet I hit last night on the truck race. Never once had an issue with them paying out winning tickets. But this is the final straw for me. Will be with drawling all of my funds. Theres too many other apps in here in town that don't crash, offer a better menu, and have much better customer service. Shame on you William hill as far as i see it you guys are thieves for not honoring my winning ticket. I guess that's how you run your multi million dollar business.
google avatar

Chris M.

Yelp
App is always frozen or shuts down. I lived it before but the just upgraded and ya terrible. Can't make a bet right now and it's MLB playoffs.new app sucks!
google avatar

David B.

Yelp
This sports book changed the bet AFTER I had placed it. Not just the payout, but the ACTUAL bet. This is fraud. A complaint was left with the BBB as well as directly with them. They refused to fix the issue. No thanks, there are plenty of other options to gamble.

Steve W.

Yelp
William Hill down for the Super Bowl in-game bets. They don't allow prop parleys. They stopped teasers at the end of regular nfl season. Spend your money elsewhere. Never again!

Breann S.

Yelp
I have called customer service about 50 times and gotten 1 person to pick up the phone and help. I was calling because I had made some bets in Vegas and gone back to my state that doesn't allow sports bets. I needed my winnings out of the account and followed the instructions. After not receiving a check in the mail, I started calling. The lady on the phone told me the same exact instructions of how to get my money so I followed the same thing again. Weeks later and still no check in the mail. At this point I tried calling again with no response. Then I tried emailing customer support. I received a response with a little different answer than I had heard the other times of reaching out so I followed that emails instructions. Weeks later and STILL no check in the mail. At this point I reached out again. The lady said they needed a bill with my name on it. I asked if there was any other way since I live with my parents and don't pay bills. NO response. This has been going on for 7 months. At this point they are stealing from me and I don't see myself getting this money. They have also turned my account off for no activity for "16 months" when the account had only been active for 12 months at that time.

Seth D.

Yelp
App couldn't be more unreliable. Every Sunday and sometimes on Saturday the app goes down. If you call in to customer support you'll be on hold with 42 people in front of you. These mistakes by WH has been going on for over a year. The only reason I gave this rating an extra star is because of it's convenience. Other then that it's complete trash.
google avatar

Christina G.

Yelp
Update: Sky is absolutely AWESOME! and the only reason I'm updating my review. She actually went above and beyond with her customer service in helping us! She called us back and she totally went to bat for us in correcting our situation!! THANK YOU SKY!! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!! Do NOT use these guys! Go to a better place! Their phone employees are nice but they hang up and you after over an hour on the phones and don't call you back AND ALL of their employees at their casinos are rude and never want to help you!

Jim M.

Yelp
I made a withdrawal on my app to my william hill prepaid card and I can't access my funds at all. I contacted them twice by leaving my information and problem on their website and haven't gotten a call back or response at all. I tried a live chat on the app itself and they told me I had to contact Play+. Play+ saw the withdrawal, but told me my prepaid card account has expired and my money should be put into my account in 10 business days. That makes no sense at all to me. I have no issues making deposits, but can't get any response at all from them when I want my money. This is totally unacceptable and it's really making re-think staying with them.
google avatar

Justin E.

Yelp
How does this company make new machines and the new ones suck more than the old ones. WILLIAM HILL is a garbage app to bet on and have horrible services. They literally should payout everyone 1,000$ for whoever tried to put money in any machines in the past month. Missed out on so much dough. William hill this is for you and your mother .

Steve McDermott M.

Yelp
The attendant at the WH kiosk in the Club Fortune refused to pay my winning ticket because I had a bad attitude about wearing a mask. She sent me to the security station and the burly security gaurd (generous description) informed me that I had abused the 'mask mandate' the last time I was in and bought the ticket. They were ok with me placing a bet, but not with me trying to collect. Not that it mattered much but I was wearing a mask when I came back the second time and on my way to the security station there were dozens of patrons not wearing masks. I felt singled out because I spoke out to the clerk and her substantial cohort (again a generous depiction) on how worthless I feel the mandate is. Again no problem taking my money but, refused to payout.

Yelp
I have used every online betting site with ease. They are always working properly but more importantly they have always paid me my winnings and deposit when I want to withdraw! William Hill is making it impossible to withdraw my OWN money. It's my original deposit that they took with no problem. Now I want it back and they are trying to make it so difficult that I'll probably just have to call my bank and go that route. Do not put your money with them even for the deposit bonus! If you win or lose they try to keep your deposit and any winnings. Use Fan or Bet or Draft.

ChiefFinancial O.

Yelp
HORRIBLE customer service if they even answer the phone. They will lie to you to get rid of you. They will give you false answers. They are rude. They will not listen. I was told a supervisor would call me. Never happened. I was hung up on another time. If they don't know the answer, they will make one up instead of trying to figure out the solution. I did deal with 2 people that did listen but that doesn't make up for the other 3 incompetent agents.

Paul H.

Yelp
App is always down and not working to allow you to place bets before games. This has happened several times and right before games start as well as during games so you can't bet on in game play action. Also does not allow you to buy points on games in a parlay, which other sites do allow this. Not a good site, I would look for another option.
google avatar

Vince D.

Yelp
Every Saturday the app experience's problem. Really happy there is a lot better options out there now.

Tim P.

Yelp
I went to Siri's in Reno to make a bet on the kiosk. The kiosk took my money without giving me a ticket. I asked the manager for help, but he said he couldn't help me and that I would have to call the number on the kiosk. I was able to make arrangements at the Sparks nugget where I was staying to get my ticket through their kiosk. It too was not working! I finally gave up since it wasn't much money. Unless you deal with a human, consider your money lost! DO NOT USE THEIR KIOSKS!!!!
google avatar

Mark O.

Yelp
The worst app ever. Continually goes down, along with the kiosks in Pahrump, as is the case today. Sunday morning, and I can't make a football bet. What a joke!

Jyle P.

Yelp
Sportsbook is a complete joke I had a 6 parlay win on Saturday and because of a grading error I won't get paid out till Monday what the hell is wrong with these people how can you not manually grade it this is ridiculous that there has to be a two day wait on a ticket because these people are complete morons.
google avatar

Martin B.

Yelp
A funkn embarrassment. They are simply kiosks! Ask any of there employees what they think. Go in and talk to them.
google avatar

Yelp
I recently went to cash over $10K on 5 tickets. I was handed a W9, and FORCED to fill it out, they were telling me, that the tickets were now their property, and if I didn't fill it out, or if I left, I would not get paid off. I told them it was my understanding, that the bet had to pay off at 150 to 1 or better, they said it was their policy, that tickets over $10K were report to the IRS. I asked for some of them back, and I would cash $9k or so, but they said it was too late, and wouldn't do it. Last week I collected tickets for over $19K, and did not go thru all this trouble, though it took almost 90 minutes for them to get me the money. The week before, I was sent to another casino, because they had closed down the book at the Nugget in Pahrump. I handed an older lady several tickets, and when she checked them, she said the were for too much money, that she couldn't cash tickets for more than $500 (I was sent there because the other William Hill book said $1,000, but to try to cash the other ones, because it was out of the cage, and they just might do it for me.) Since she appeared to be really old, like about 70 (I'm 72), I just took the tickets from her, placed them back in my left front pocket, where I always carry them, came back to the Nugget in the morning, and was shocked that an $800, and $1,500 tickets were missing, which was bad enough, but the tickets I produced were cashed in The Circus in Vegas, the night before. It took a few hours to clear the later up, but I never got the 2 tickets back. They wouldn't let me view the video of that night, but I am sure the old bat stole them. The week before, I misplaced a winning parlay, with an over $13K payoff. Admittedly, my memory at times suck, and they told me to reconstruct the ticket, I really couldn't then or now, but I am KNOWN to them, and am sure they know what the ticket was. I wouldn't bet with this group again with your money. This is a crooked outfit for sure! Just look at the rats from this outfit on YouTube in Britain, and you will see video, that couldn't be used in court there, because a person has to consent to their voice being recorded, so the weasels came over to the states years ago, and we let them open sports books all over this country! As you well know, money can buy anything here!

Raymond B.

Yelp
I've had William hill app for 5yrs and never got any kick backs for my deposits or even just being a good customer". I've signed up for fall awards" and got $1! Back" WOW am really Frustrated and upset with there customer policies so am parting ways.

Ron E.

Yelp
I got cheated out of $200 on their miserable betting machines which are called kiosks.I put in my winning ticket, clicked on wagering, sports, football, tried to make my wager and said insufficient funds which I thought was odd for the wager I tried to make was well under the winning ticket I put in machine.I looked over to the right of screen and said my balance was zero. Then I looked at top of screen and it said tracking wagers into my William Hill account,I was horrified when I saw this for I have no William Hill account.I realized at this moment the previous player left his account open, whether this was done accidentally or intentionally I don't know but the second I put in my winning ticket it went right into their account,it wouldn't let me bet, wanted my password which obviously I didn't know for it was not my account. It might of sitting in this open state for quite some time. Told the person at the desk that was working for William Hill, they gave me a customer service number to call which is a BAD JOKE.I explained what happened ,the guy in customer service that answered my call was ANGRY AND HOSTILE he snapped back and said why didn't I use my players card,I said I didn't have a players card ,I have used these machines about 15 times never had a problem.I gave the amount of winning wager, the team and type of bet but he refused to even attempt to track ticket I put in machine which he easily could of done on the computer.I asked him how long does a persons personal betting account stay open before it logs off if they don't remember to close it and he said it stays open until someone closes it,he said I should of paid closer attention to the small print at the top of screen saying it was still open.I told him this is a dangerous policy . I went from being an innocent victim to the guilty party,he made me sound like I was some kind of conman, once again I said look for my winning ticket on your computer ,there was only one kiosk in this small casino and few betters and he only became more hostile, this guy was a total jerk,he was not even one percent helpful !!!! I may write the head office about this guy he should be fired or reprehended,he couldn't possibly of been more rude. If he was my employee I would of fired him in a NY second for being so abusive towards a customer.

Kyle P.

Yelp
Their online betting is a joke. Today was the 7th time I've had to call about it making a mistake. Whether it was not paying something it should have, the app making multiple of the same bet or it saying it accepts a bet then after you win it shows you didn't make it. The customer service is atrocious I don't know if it's some people sitting it a shack drinking figuring out how to screw you or what but they are arrogant. They stick to oh no that could never happen you are wrong our software doesn't make mistakes although I've pointed out that I've been through this with them already and I got my money back because INDEED it did make a mistake. The manager will legitimately laugh at you like you're an idiot. I can't help but think how many people they are screwing over that just don't catch it? Get an account at cantor gaming or stick to the in person books.

Yelp
The app tends to be inconsistent, but always had decent customer service when I had to call in to fix or confirm something, and the staff that works at the physical locations has always been great. I admit- I was a strong proponent for this service for a while. William Hill was my preferred betting site online, as well as in person. That is no longer the case. At some point over one particular random night in January 2016, my account became "banned by upper management." When I called to get an explanation, I was given to their Mobile Ops Manager, a particularly disagreeable individual named David L. What amounted to being a simple case of mistaken identity (they had me confused with someone else) which should have been rectified, including an apology, ended with them basically accusing me of being a criminal and that they've decided not to do business with me. Whatever the information/security breach was- it was on their end (something they are not allowed to admit to, it seems). I was willing to provide any information necessary to clear up the situation. Did they put any effort into resolving any confusion? No. Was I treated in a polite & professional way? No. The manner in which I was handled by someone in an upper management position was reprehensible. As a Las Vegas local, there are literally dozens and dozens of competitors I can give my business to, but my real intention moving forward is to ward off anyone I know, or will come to know, from giving a penny to William Hill. I probably would have been a customer for life, but after the way I was spoken to, they don't deserve a moment more of my time.

Yelp
I called because the app charged my account 164 dollars for a bet that I didn't make. The new app is very inconsistent and they do not try to help their customers at all.

Yelp
Most of the time tech support is cool, but this past call I was helped by Tommy, and I was asking a few questions about the mobile app, and he was pretty rude with an attitude.
