Yelp
Kitchen stores are my happy place. I rarely have the occasion to shop at Williams-Sonoma, but I love browsing and pretending it is my kitchen while drinking free miniature cappuccinos and sampling baked goods.
If you like kitchen "stuff" of any kind, they have it here. All-clad, LaCrueset, Japanese knives, beautiful dishes, a wall of cookbooks, spice mixes, linens, cappuccino makers, kitchen gadgets galore-- you name it, they have it, and if you haven't named it, you'll find something you suddenly "need."
Quality is higher than most stores, but unfortunately prices are even more so (preventing them from getting a fifth star). However, some of the more expensive items (like La Crueset dishes) are outlandish everywhere, but probably worth it if you have the money to spend on it.
On my last visit, a random chain of events had gotten me a gift card for over $100, and by being strategic I managed to come home with both things I needed-- a mandoline and a garlic press-- and awesome spontaneous purchases-- a cookie cookbook and a cheese-making kit. It took me an hour to decide on everything I wanted, and their staff never rushed me, let me keep items I wanted for sure on the counter so I could peruse more easily, offered helpful advice, and made me free coffee drinks. In my opinion, this is a lovely way to spend an afternoon.
