The staff have gotten to know me after many visits, are very friendly and helpful, and they listen to details large and small to help me find cooking solutions that are right for me. Subject: Complaint Regarding Unprofessional Behavior from Store Manager I am writing to formally complain about an extremely unpleasant experience I had at your store in December 2024. I went in to return an unopened hot cocoa product, and when I calmly explained my situation to the store manager, I was met with hostility and unprofessional behavior. The store manager yelled in my face to 'get out from Her store and that security was on its way' when I questioned her refusal to take the product. I had only purchased it and decided to return it a few days later. Instead of listening to my request, the manager started yelling at me in front of other customers and store staff. I was shocked by how aggressive she was, especially as I was trying to remain calm throughout the interaction. The manager then told me to leave the store immediately, and even threatened to call security over a simple return request. This incident was not only embarrassing but also made me feel unsafe and disrespected. I expect a higher level of professionalism and courtesy when interacting with staff, especially when I spend a lot of money here. I hope you will take this matter seriously and address the behavior of your manager, as no customer should ever have to experience such treatment. I witnessed the manager of William sonoma at the Frontenac location bullying a customer that was trying to make a return with her receipt in hand. The manager screamed at the scarred customer and raised her hand threateningly telling her to get out of her store. this behavior scarred not only me but the other customers as well. This kind of bullying is horrendous, I will never shop at this store again. The manager is ruining this store.

We love Williams-Sonoma!!!!! As a foodie, you get the same feeling you did as a child going to the toy store. So many gadgets, so many nice kitchenware must-haves. The staff is encouraged to try many of the products, so just asking a question is welcomed and the answers are first-hand advisement. They are enthusiasts as well! Yes, they carry higher-end items, but often, we've found they are well worth the price. We built our house around our kitchen, we stocked it from Williams-Sonoma.

I will never order from this store again. I ordered a personalized Christmas present for my son. It was ordered Dec 9. I got it Christmas Eve. It had the wrong name on it. I called and they said it would come by Dec 27th. The day my son was leaving. They won’t be here until the following Mon. I am so sad. Never never again.

Customer service is excellent here, Rosanna helped me find the cookware I needed, she is detail oriented and knowledgeable, even though I got hundreds of questions and kinda indecisive she still being very patient. Other laddies work there are very helpful too, it’s rare to see people nowadays love what they do for living. The products are great, if you are passionate about cooking this is the store you go to.

I don't get to Williams-Sonoma often, but I love it when I do. This visit was on a Sunday and they had plenty of staff, I was greeted promptly and asked if they could help. I just wanted to make my way through the store and see what fun things I could find. I did my browsing, I especially like their food section with different spices, popcorn seasonings, drink mixes, candy, and so much more. I settled on a jar of truffle salt; I am obsessed with truffle lately. It was pricey but its pricey everywhere. I ended up with a question and the salesperson was friendly and provided the answer. One person manning the counter and helping a couple with wedding registry items, but another person quickly came up and waved me over. I snagged a bag of chocolate chip cookies they had bagged for their fight hunger fundraiser, and I was on my way. Any time I am in the area, I like to stop in.

Beautiful store and of course high end kitchen gadgets / cookware. The handful of times I have gone in this store, the sales people cater to those who appear to have money. If you don't appear to have money, you might as well be invisible to these sales people as they don't even greet you. They aren't overly helpful and are rude as witness at the checkout.

Unless you want to pay for shipping to ship something to the store and pick it up I wouldn't shop here. The GM of this location wouldn't refund the shipping charge and wasn't even understanding/ flexible. We're all consumers and a little customer service / empathy would've gone a long way. Called online customer service and she reached out to her "leadership" but she said that is how the platform works. They need to improve this method in order to ever get my business again.

This is no longer a reliable quality company.. Service is horrible. Items arrive broken and in cheap packaging from overseas. Literally NOTHING IS IN STOCK. Waiting on an order of Olive Oil since June and now they say will ship in October. So sad to see another company that was once the standard of quality and service go so down hill. I will no longer be ordering from William Sonoma. Back to Amazon.

So glad to see that on my last shopping experience that they have totally raised the level of their customer service. We were greeted as we entered the store and when we had questions an associate was available to assist. I love this time of year when they have the pumpkin mixes for quick bread and waffles. They make a delightful fall breakfast. As stated by the infamous Patt C. they have some impressive cookbooks. I should know, in our house there are over 200 cookbooks so I think I know a good one when I see one. Glad I was able to raise your stars, WS. You deserved it.

Okay so my review is based on my foray into adulthood. I recently bought a brand new KitchenAid. I had done my research and walked into the store full of confidence, which quickly deflated once I saw how heavy the device actually was. Luckily the nice lady at the store came to my rescue. She brought it down to the parking lot on a cart and helped me load it into my car. Excellent customer service!!

Oh, Williams Sonoma...you are so expensive...so so expensive but so so fun to window shop...or walk around and pretend I have enough money to buy your fun kitchenware, what have you. There is no shortage of kitchenware or decor at Williams Sonoma. You can find an array of brands (from lower end stuff like Kitchenade to much more expensive things that I don't remember they are so far out of my price range). They also put of a lot of free samples all the time, which is fun but sometimes can skeeve me a little bit if the honey mustard has been sitting out too long or I see someone stick their entire hand into a bowl of crackers. You can find recipes, pots and pans, rugs, shelving, candles, spatulas, tableware, monogrammed table clothes (because that's so necessary in life) and pretty much anything you could ever want to put in or near your kitchen or dining room here. Most of the stuff is gorgeous, some of it is over the top, but all of it is fun to dream about having in your non-existent fancy kitchen. Perhaps one day I'll become the marrying kind and register here for the plates I know I cannot afford.

This place is expensive! We were greeted by a happy clerk offering samples of peppermint bark. We didn't cruise too much around the store, but there's lots of different things. One back wall is full of kitchen gadgets . . . hefty-priced gadgets. Many extremely useful gadgets. There are some impressive cookbooks. Different mustards, condiments and sauces. All manner of dishes and serving vessels. Spreader sets for appetizers. Pretty big store. You could spend some time in here. And some jack!

Shopping for my mother is always easy -- gift certificate from W-S. The problem is that I get caught up in all the gadgets and shiny objects that I want it all for myself. Truly the Batcave of the layperson. Major kudos to W-S staff having their store running with insane efficiency during the Christmas shopping rush. Despite having lines that were 3-4 people deep, I think it probably took 10 minutes total for me to be helped and on my way.

Very high-quality items but at a premium price. The staff in the store are always eager to help. I'm a big fan of their Apilco line since the tableware is virtually indestructible. I recently visited to add 4 cereal bowls to my cupboard. At $22 a piece, they better withstand anything I can throw at it. Tip... I've always liked their cookbooks. They are easy to follow and have tremendous recipes.

CUSTOMER BEWARE This place is a rip off. They had a coffee maker marked down on "clearance" with a "was 59.99" "now 44.99". It was a display item with scratches ALL over it and no box or directions. Went down the mall to Sur La Table. EXACT same maker was priced new in the box at 44.99 ... no scratches and directions included. PLUS it was 10% off. Shame on WS for falsely marking up an item then marking it down to make you thnk it's on sale. AND with scratches all over it. Will not shop there again

I came in here to find a matching wedding gift as a favor for my sister. I didn't know what to get. One of the employees (I wish I remembered her name) was of great help! She gave me great ideas & with her help I settled one 2 items which were a perfect accompaniment to the rice cooker wedding gift. Several days later, I had to come back here to return said 2 items since my sister said she meant to say matching gift bow & not matching gift. Well, the return was quite easy. No hassles whatsoever. The unnamed employee who again I forgot her name made the return smoothly. The items might be pricey, but there are some cool stuff to be found here. Overall, I found the employees to be quite helpful! Saved me the insanity of rocking my brains for ideas. Thanx, nameless employees who I didn't remember your names! As Arnold Schwarzenegger said "I'll be back."

Wouldn't even give this store one star if I could. I went in with my fiancée to set up our wedding registry and the workers acted bothered by our presence. They were extremely unwilling to help and at one point two ladies blatantly ignored me when I asked a question. They were snobby and rude. Horrible customer service, which is sad considering William Sonoma is such a great store.

well, my experience trying to register here basically ruined the whole chain for me and converted me exclusively to sur la table. the store was a mess, so many things were out of stock and the staff was completely unhelpful. didn't help that when i went there the computer system wasn't working but i had to talk to them about it multiple times before they finally confirmed this - or made an effort to look into it. then made me feel bad for leaving after they told me it would be no big deal to manually enter in every skew number. so just walked down the hall to sur la table and haven't been back! oh and not to mention it was a weekday, no customers and a plethora of employees...yet, still, no one seemed willing to help me...

This place is overpriced and the return was a huge HASSLE. The sales associates accused me of using the product I didn't even take out of the box. The associate determined this by taking the product out of the box and telling me it feels greasy on the top and that there was flour on the outlet cord and telling me that I have indeed used the product. She kept offering me merchandise credit instead of my money back. What an a** hole! Don't bother buying anything from this store!! You can get the same product on Amazon for a lot less.
