This Highly Rated Nespresso Machine Is 40 Percent Off | Eater

"This retailer is currently offering Nespresso’s collaboration with Breville — a bundle that includes a milk frother for cappuccino- and latte-making — at 40% off. Nespresso machines are praised as compact, more affordable alternatives to top-of-the-line espresso machines, using easy-to-use pods that make them very accessible for home use; reviewers and users note how simple they are to operate (one Grub Street editor reported that his parents “quickly became obsessed”). Williams Sonoma is one of the stores I love to shop in. So when I saw this Williams Sonoma in Westfield Valley Fair Shopping Center, I couldn't wait to see if they have some new items there. The store is beautiful and has many excellent home products. All the items are displayed in the best way and look attractive. However, the salespersons in the store are too busy and can’t keep up with the number of customers with all kinds of questions. I ended up not purchasing anything. I hope I’ll find the same items I want in the stores near me again!

My Fiance and I went to inquire for some cookware for our registry and we met Elaine, who went above and beyond to show us Pots & Pans and different sets of Knifes. Definitely ask for her to get all your questions answered.

Does not take open box return when the policy says "new or like new condition products" are acceptable. Sales push pretty hard, while return was handled with attitude. I purchased a milk frother 2 weeks ago, and decided to return it last week (item was used twice in perfect condition and boxed carefully). I was told used item is not accepted and told to read the policy. And the policy says different thing or at least very ambiguous. Waited for store manager and I was told to pick another products for exchange that they cannot break company rule. I didn't want to exchange so asked if there's way to escalate, the return policy doesn't align to operation to me. The manager asked for my receipt and processed the return with quite an attitude.

My husband and I were so enjoying the beautiful store on Veterans Day and had a number of items we wanted to purchase. My husband decided to ask the store staff if they offered a veteran’s discount. New clerk asked the other clerk (short male with glasses) who wrinkled up his face and shook his head no in the most offensive way. Our purchase wasn’t dependent on the discount, but after that reaction we decided to leave the items and the store. We’ve never had that reaction to a simple question.

I bought this single piece. The store is amazing with the staff being super helpful. The store has amazing collection perfect for the home. The price might look a bit expensive but it is worth due to its durability and quality.

I have visited this store 3 times now in search of various kitchen-related items. Each time, the staff neglected to offer help or greet me in any way. I was once the only customer in the entire store with two employees behind the counter, and they did not even look up as I walked in. I would typically just ask for the item I need and move on, but the stock at this store has been poor consistently, so I’ve always had to order it afterward anyway. I will clarify, this is not at all a negative review for the Williams Sonoma company, just this specific store. Save yourself some time and just shop online!

Google
I wish I could give negative stars for this company. I ordered a paring knife on 06/29. It said that I should be receive the item in around a week. A week later, I didn't get the item although the order tracking page said the order was on its way to UPS. Another week passed but the tracking page said the same. I called the customer service and was told that they would take care of it and I should be able to get my order in a week. A week passed but I still didn't get the order and the tracking page still said "Order on the way to UPS". I called again, this time I experienced the worst customer service I've ever had. The lady first said that I should contact UPS and showed no sorry for my experience. I was really angry by her unprofessional behavior and attitude. She then said "do you want to cancel the order? I can do that and that's the only thing I can do" and she told me that I wasn't charged which is not true. What a terrible customer service agent! I could have cancelled the order at the time but I was so angry that I didn't do that. Another two weeks later, I found the tracking page still said the same thing, so I wrote an email to cancel the order. This company sells stuff at high price but offer the worst customer service I've ever experienced. You might have good experience with them but once something goes south you'll understand what I mean. Avoid this company at all cost.

Google
Beware that if you buy items online and try to return them, it's the biggest hustle. They will also try to give you a merchandise card rather than refunding to your original payment form. Total scam...for the high quality image/brand they promote these are awful tactics. Not to mention that the items I returned only looked good online and were not functional. So lesson learned..don't buy anything more going forward online from Williams-Sonoma.

Yelp
If you're looking for a well-lit store, organized shelves and a modern one with great customer service, W&S at Valley Fair is the only store to go to. Today Bixia assisted me and I think she deserves more than the 5 star rating Yelp is providing. Thank you for your friendliness and efficiency Bixia! I went close to noon today and the store had a few couples walking around. The minute I walked inside the store, Bixia greeted me and asked if she could assist. She saw I had a list in my hand and automatically commented me for doing my homework. Took less than 2 minutes plus her expertise on this 2 quart pot I was looking for and she sold me a product! Sad the store didn't carry my item, but it was ordered online and the whole process took a couple minutes. I was overall impressed with Bixia's efficiency. Her colleague at the register was equally friendly even though he just greeted me on my way out. I was just at the Hillsdale location last night and that store is half the size of this Valley Fair location. The shelves were not as organized and poorly lit. No one greeted me at the door. There were only two associates and one manager I later spotted, but the customer service threw me off--you had to walk up to ask for help and later on give you the feeling they are readily available at the door when they act like they are monitoring you...watching you like you'll walk away with something. Ratings were on point about what this location lacked and wished I read the reviews prior to coming in. Take notes Hillsdale, there's a reason Valley Fair has more stars and foot traffic.

Yelp
What's not to like about the store? It smells delicious and they have beautiful Christmas merchandise. The employees are always nice and helpful. It's expensive and worth it

Yelp
Very helpful and friendly staff who helped me with the purchase of a new kitchen knife. They also pointed me to the clearance tables!!

Yelp
Williams-Sonoma = kitchen goals. I get so much inspiration walking through their stores. It was my first time visiting this VF location. I came on a Saturday morning so the store was pretty empty. There were 3 staff members chatting when I walked in, so they pretty much ignored me, which I personally don't mind. After walking through the store a few times, I couldn't find the cake pan I was looking for. I interrupt the chatty staff members to ask if they had what I was looking for. One member took a quick glance over the bakeware section and said they didn't have it. She didn't offer to check another store or asked if I wanted to place an order online. She just wanted to get back to her conversation, so I left. I love William-Sonoma stores. Their displays are goal-worthy for sure. But this store lacked customer service and didn't have much inventory.

Yelp
Came in looking for a tea pot that was sold out online and Sue was so extremely helpful. I have been looking for a pink tea pot for years and I found one but it was sold out online but magically she made it happen by ordering it in store. Sue was so nice and friendly and so were the rest of the employees.

Yelp
I called looking for a specific juicer & Linda went above and beyond to find the juicer in the stock room. She was amazing. I really wanted this juicer asap so I can start juicing tomorrow and she made my dreams come true :) Go see Linda!

Yelp
This is the first and LAST time I ever shop at William-Sonoma. After returning an item for store credit I waited WEEKS for an "e-refund" to be issued. It never arrived so I called customer service who stated that the warehouse had received my item but they never "processed" it and would do it manually. It took another 48 hours to get my credit. I was going to travel and ordered 3 items, paid for them & arranged to pick them up the next day at the valley fair store. The next day I called because two items said they were ready to be picked up but one said pending. They confirmed they had all the items in stock but when I gave them my order number they said they had no record of it and to call customer service. So I then called customer service who said that I needed to call the store manager and ask them to just pull the items for me. Called the store AGAIN and spoke with the assistant manager who confirmed that she had all the items but would need to cancel my order and make me pay for them again. That didn't work for me because that would mean I would just be issued more store credit and have to pay for the items out of pocket. The manager would not work with me. I called corporate and they called the store and said the manager didn't want to give me something from her inventory because they "had two different inventories they pull from" - WTF? Refused to help me and at this point I had lost hours because they refused to give me items that were IN STOCK AND THAT I HAD ALREADY PAID FOR. Trust me, go buy your stuff on Amazon because this company SUCKS. Complete trash - from the store employees to customer service to corporate. I'll also be deleting my entire wedding registry with them. They don't deserve anyone's business. Just because you're an overpriced and over hyped company doesn't mean you should treat your customers like crap.

Yelp
We are in the market for an expresso machine and this was the first place we visited. Lucky us because Aren Eisele was the one that helped us, the general manager of the store. If you have any questions about expresso machines or probably anything in the store, you can ask Aren. Aren totally understands everything about these expresso machines. He was patient and never rushed us the entire 30 minutes we were with him. He even let my wife make a drink. I am not ready to purchase yet but when I am, I will buy it from Williams Sonoma. Thank you Aren.

Yelp
Williams-Sonoma is a haven for home chefs. I recently bought a Breville espresso machine from here and it has instantly become an obsession. They have an excellent selection of cookware and knives, all of which are the finest quality you can find anywhere. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly.

Yelp
I love the way they deco their store. The workers here are nice and friendly. Came in the other day to see if they still have the Chewbacca Instant Pot still available and they did have the last one. Before we buy it, I told the lady to open the box so I can see if it's brand new and it is. I'm glad the lady sold the Instant Pot to us for a discount price that was online.

Yelp
Noelle's Yelp Notebook 2017 I've been coming this location of Williams Sonoma since it first opened ages ago. Came here recently and purchased the following: Williams-Sonoma Pumpkin Seed Brittle 5/5 The pumpkin seed brittle is the best on the market albeit the price is rather steep at nearly $30 ($29.95 to be exact). Williams Sonoma Pumpkin Streusel Bundt Cake Mix 5/5 These are the perfect bundt cake mixes for the Nordic Ware Bundt cake pans. If you have unexpected guests this is a perfect and easy dessert to make! Williams Sonoma Vanilla Sugar Cookie Mix 5/5 Being an avid baker I don't always buy mixes but I tried this one mix a few years back and it's amazing!!! Williams Sonoma Sweet Pink Sanding Sugar 5/5 Their sanding sugars are perfect for cookies, cupcakes and sanding the rims on cocktail drinks. Halloween Spatula 5/5 forgot to post the photo but it's totally cute with the Halloween theme and functional as well for baking. Customer service is great- always friendly and helpful. They have a great selection of cooking and baking tools, mixes, spices and they finally have back in stock the Aleppo peppers :) Miss the location being on the ground floor but if you purchase a lot they will bring it to curbside for pickup. Noelle's Notes One of my favorite WS locations to shop

Yelp
Hate to leave a review like this....but please check your purchases before you leave here!!!! I bought an espresso machine for $300 and drove all the way home (gilroy) to find out that the espresso machine was USED!!!! There were coffee grinds all over the styrofoam and grinds still in the gasket. Coffee stains spots everywhere and there was still water in the water canister. Missing pieces, instruction book missing and fingerprints all over the machine! I was super annoyed because I needed an espessso machine the next day because we were having guests over and I wanted to serve affogatos for dessert. I called and spoke with the store manager and she did not make it any better. She said they don't sell used products and kind of made me feel like she was calling me a liar. She told me to bring the product back and I asked will I be able to receive any compensation for the inconvenience? I'm driving all the way from Gilroy and gas is ridiculous right now and I will need to rearrange my whole day just so I can exchange for a new one. She said "no we don't do that here". Next day I went back and the associate that helped me make the purchase was clueless why I was coming back. Obviously the manager did not communicate with her staff. I explained to her and she was extremely apologetic and made it a bit better. But not really. They didn't have any more in stock, I got a full refund and a full of "I'm so sorry" and I went across the street to Crate and barrel. When I opened the crate and barrel espresso machine, it was covered with a new plastic bag and all the new parts were included and how it looked so clean and new. Suddenly made me feel disgusted thinking about the espresso machine that I bought at Williams-Sonoma. I thought of that company high end and pretty upscale, now it has made me think it's like going to target. I know first world problem, I'm just upset that they didn't do anything to make the situation better. DO BETTER!!! Maybe the customer who returned it told them it's not used and the staff took their word for it? The machine should've been sent in the back but someone accidentally put it on the sales floor? DO BETTER!!!

Yelp
Great store with the cooLest househoLd suppLies & cooking gadgets. Pricing can be pretty expensive but if you take your time and Look- there is something for everyone's personaL budget. Customer service is great and they offer heavy duty gift boxes ranging from smaLL to xL (none of that cheap fLimsy stuff here).

Karen L.

Yelp
Terrible service and low inventory. My husband and I patiently waited at least 20 min to get checked out, item picked out and everything. This was an hour before closing time. There were two workers and only 2 other couples. The other two couples got attentive service and assistance for over 30 min discussing their products and getting things from the back room brought it. When I asked for help saying we've been waiting for awhile, I received attitude saying there were only two of them. I realize there were two of them but it doesn't take that long to check out willing, paying customers. They definitely need some work here on operations and customer service.

Yelp
The lady helped me find coffee pods . I told her what machine I had. I bought about 75 dollars worth of pods. When I got home they were not the right ones for my machine. I tried to return them next day. I only brought back the ones that weren't opened . The lady said they won't take them back cause it's a good item. Could care less that the employee told me it would fit my machine.

Yelp
First let me say that this store is amazing. As someone who loves to cook and likes the cooking aesthetic this is paradise. The store is super clean and organized. It is very spacious so you can browse and not feel scared bumping into others. They have some very nice sturdy cookware. To be honest this place is a bit upscale. They do have a membership program if you're interested. Originally came in to see if there was anything the hubz and I would want for our wedding registry (had to postpone big wedding due to Covid). The staff was friendly and offered to help us look anything up. One item in particular that we were searching for was the Star Wars Instant Pot from last Christmas. We majorly lucked out and they had one left. It was hands down one of the best purchases we have made. Definitely plan on visiting again.
google avatar

Yelp
Ok so it's not nearly the place that the Union Square SF locale is but you have all the familiar items. Was seeing if they happened to have some Bob Kramer knives but alas no. Still checked out all the other sets though. Friend was looking for wax paper and ended finding parchment paper that actually would do the job. A couple of the workers were pretty helpful in getting us what we needed and putting us on our way.

Yelp
Some of my classmates, who are from Japan, introduced me to Williams-Sonoma. They said the store is really popular in Japan. It is now really popular at my house :) The store itself is a lot of fun to shop in. They have all kinds of unique baking supplies. I bought an apple pie mold that is shaped like an apple. They also have some cake pans that are so cute! I could spend hours in WS if I was looking to kill time. You do have to be careful what you buy there though. Some of the stuff is not worth the price and they sometimes have misleading product information on their website. For example, I purchased an apple peeler-core that their website described as having a stainless steel rod. I used it once and the rod rusted. It cost $28 and Bed Bath and Beyond had one for $14. I took the WS one back. The service on the other hand is awesome. They always have someone there to greet you. Yes they are a little snobby but I don't mind. I am just a snob right back and it all works out. Additionally when I returned the rusty apple peeler they profusely apologized and took it back without question. Recently I bought a table runner from them that I am completely in love with. It has scalped edges and beautiful quilting you won't find on BB&B's stuff.
google avatar

Danielle C.

Yelp
Williams-Sonomas are all the same. They are generally very white in their color schemes, and they are typically located in a mall. They hold tons of kitchen supplies, most of them may be overpriced but that's OK because the store is so nice and clean. I feel that some of the more basic supplies could be found elsewhere like Bed Bath and Beyond, Daiso, etc. for a lot cheaper though. They actually have a small spice selection here. I was able to pick up some cloves for $7 which is a pretty decent price for cloves if I do say so myself.
google avatar

Robin S.

Yelp
Can I give 0 stars? Overrated, overpriced and a horrible 30 day return policy. Tried to return items I received as wedding gifts after 30 days (that I never asked for in the first place) and was told to "re-gift" them. On my way out, I noticed that the same items were still on the shelves being sold to other customers at regular prices, so it wasn't an issue of things being on clearance. Will avoid this store at all costs moving forward.

C M.

Yelp
Horrible customer service. I received a gift at Christmas that did not work correctly. After returning it per their instructions it has taken many calls and emails to customer service to still not have a credit even though I had been assured it was taken care of. It is now over a month and still no credit, for faulty merchandise. In an era of box stores falling by the way side this is a clear picture of a store that will not be around much longer.

Mario M.

Yelp
Zero, zip, rien, zilch, nada customer service. Very disappointed. Apparently The company does not provide training to their employees on how to treat a customer on a simple return on a defective item.

Emmaruth E.

Yelp
Not good customer service . Too much miscommunication with the staff and the manager .

Yelp
I was really upset with the customer service at this retail store. I ordered an item online during the Black Friday/cyber Monday sale, that I was going to gift my mother for Christmas. I had originally sent for my package to be sent to the store for pick up. I even called the store and let them know that I would be able to pick it up at a certain date and they told that was fine and they would keep it on hold for me. When I spoke to the employee on the phone she sounded like she didn't care and sort of just brushed away what I was telling her. Apparently the employee I spoke to failed to acknowledge my request to keep my package on hold. I received an email telling me my order had been returned because I didn't pick it up on time. Basically the store sent back my order without my consent. When I spoke to them again they apologized but they told me they couldn't honor my order with the sale price and told me I would have to come in in person and they would see what they could do to fix the situation but they couldn't guarantee anything. I was really angry with the whole situation and upset that I would not be able to gift this to my mother for Christmas. Instead I called customer service and I was lucky enough to be helped out by Joelle. She took down my info and quickly sorted out the situation. My package is being sent directly to my home, just in time for the holidays and she honored the initial price I paid. Thank you Joelle!!!

Yelp
I'm very disappointed to learn Williams Sonoma is using false and misleading advertisement in their website. They have items listed on sale at a certain discount. At checkout the discount is different than advertised. I called customer service and was told that although I'm correct and agreed is false advertisement, there is nothing they can do. How they can expect to earn customers trust when they don't stand behind their advertisements and policy?

Yelp
We have been loyal WS customers for years now, and our recent experience was just totally disappointing. To the point that we don't think we'll shop here again. We've always purchased from WS instead of Amazon, especially for products like our Breville counter-top open (we've purchased three of these over the years from WS) and other large appliances like coffee makers and blenders and so on. When our most recent Breville oven started to die after just 6 months of use, we went to WS to exchange it. We went in expecting a Nordstrom-level manner of customer service, and it couldn't have been further from that. The ladies working ignored us while we were standing there with a huge awkward oven in our arms, and then we they finally acknowledged us they didn't even help clear a space we could set it down on. When we explained our situation, they said they only handle exchanges within one month of purchase (seriously?!) and that we had to work with Breville directly. They then turned away from us, continued their conversation, and acted as if we didn't exist. We can understand why the WS location in Los Gatos is gone - no service from this company. Disappointing to say the least.

Yelp
I hate this place. Why? Because I feel like a kid in a candy store. No, really. I literally feel like a kid in a candy store. A kid with 5 cents in his pocket and each piece of candy costs $1. Digital espresso maker or three months of house payments? Duh...Digital espresso maker. I even like the seasonal crap they sell here. Like the turkey shaped silicone cake mold. I bought it. Ashamed.

Yelp
Williams Sonoma...you sweet, sweet seductress. How is it that I always end up in here spending my hard-earned money on ridiculously overpriced kitchen goodies? I have long been a kitchen whore... meaning that our kitchen is packed to the gills with all types of 'must-haves'...like that cool avocado slicer, a pancake batter bowl with the special pouring spout, $12 pastel Easter spatulas, the potato masher I use once a year. So yeah, it's obvious that WS is like a kitchen den of iniquity for me...as such I try to hardly enter the place. Because the wallet IS a lot lighter upon my exit and in these recessionary times, I really don't need more pastel spatulas. However, I have to give them props for the ultimate in seduction... exclusive colors of Kitchen Aid Artisans that line their expensive walls and grace their simple webpages. I was all set to pay $200 for a refurbished industrial stainless steel KA on the Amazon website, to replace the 12 year old model that I blew up earlier this year making brioche (mmmm!)....WHEN lo and behold, my online-eye spies the Grass Green KA Artisan on the WS website. An exclusive color you cannot find elsewhere... a lovely blend of leaf and moss greens. Gosh, I was lost. $300 AMEX reward points later....a pal is in the shop purchasing their last one with her 20% discount. WOOT. Thanks Sugar B...my new darling winks at me from it's new home on the counterop and begs to be caressed on a daily basis. Thanks to this latest acquisition WS will forever be first in my kitchen-implement loving heart, even with their ridiculous prices. Oh yeah and you have to love the staff, they are always nothing but friendly, and fabulous about putting goodies on hold for me to come in a later date. They must be able to smell my addiction through the phone, curses!

Yelp
This is a review of one of the ladies who works there, not the actual Williams-Sonoma items. I came in to return something I had bought for my brother since he didn't like what I bought him. I went straight to the check-out area. It was your standard check-out area that's shaped like a square with 2 cash registers on each side. All registers were being used and there was no gate or sign that said "line starts here" so I just lined up in front of one of the registers. After about 5 minutes of waiting patiently and 3 eye glances at me, the employee actually stopped what she was doing and told me "Actually, the line forms on the other side. If you line up there, someone will be with you." Well thank you for telling me this after I had lined up waiting for someone on that side to help me. Now I had to wait in line again. What they should really have is a sign or something to tell you where the line begins.

Yelp
I am a huge fan of Williams-Sonoma. I can go on and on about how awesome all the products are, but I'm here to write strictly about the customer service at Valley Fair. However, I absolutely hated my experience at this store. I went to the opening of the new store today and I was sorely disappointed. I expected the staff to be extra friendly and enthusiastic since it was after all, opening weekend! But, nope. The staff is extremely over pretentious, cold, and unwelcoming. Based on my experience here, I believe that the staff is highly judgmental and will only approach customers who they think are actually worth their time. I'm in my early twenties and I look pretty young. NONE of the staff approached me during my 15 minute visit at Williams-Sonoma, despite them flocking all over the older customers. I legitimately was looking at the different Cuisinart coffee pots for 10 minutes and no one came to help me. I asked one of the employees how much the coffee pot cost. He sighed and was extremely uninterested in helping me. I do not feel welcome at this store. I'll probably come back in about 30 years. Maybe then I'll look mature enough to fit in at Williams-Sonoma. Go to Crate and Barrel in Santana Row. MUCH better service.

Yelp
Another conflicted review. I give the physical Williams Sonoma in Valley Fair 1 star. The service is non-existent, and the employees are elitist snobs (to speak in general terms). Every time I have come into the store, I've kicked myself and walked straight back out. However, their website is phenomenal, maybe not 5 stars but darn close. I've spent more hours than I can count getting lost in their products (namely cutlery and cookware) and their prices are actually quite fair for the quality. Still, I can get the same things for much less hassle across the street at SLT.

Yelp
I love Williams Sonoma. I have been shopping at various branches since I could buy things. So, this is a review of THIS store at Valley Fair...and not the brand in general. Someone from our wedding got us doubles of some glasses that we wanted. But, we didn't want that many. So, on Sunday my hubby and I head over to the mall with a box to return and 200 dollars in gift cards (we registered there). We get to the counter and explain why we are returning the gift. And he says he can't just return it (see previous post of Pier One....ugggh, it's a virus). He says he has to mail it back to our guest, have them return it, and then send us the money....THAT IS HIS LOGIC. My hubby starts to get into his "serious WTF' mode, and I stand back. Finally, we get this guy's supervisor over, and she makes it better. She looks at her co-worker with a evil glare, and starts to give us a new gift card for the money. After that, it was a great time...

Yelp
So my eldest son has moved into his first "crib" (oh yeah, this momma's hip and all dhat---I think) so I wanted to get him a housewarming present. I know he will think this is a lame idea but hey, I'D take a free gift anyday. So I'm looking at the blenders and then I think, hmmm do I want to encourage blending, boozing and mixed drinks? Kudos to the sales person for helping me choose the milk shake mixer instead!. High five, yes! I got a gift receipt in case he still thinks its lame.

Yelp
If I had a huge house, I would love every kitchen appliance that I have be from Williams Sonoma! And my furnitures from Pottery Barn too. Going back to Williams Sonoma, I love the quality of their pots and pans, among other things. I was there this afternoon looking to replace my old pot and pans, and I fell in love with the All Clad 10-set of pots and pans. It was quite expensive, but it lasts forever! Worth the buy imo. Also, the layout of the store makes you want to buy everything you see there, and you tend to buy an item or two lol, but to me, I just feel a sense of "home" when I look at the appliances in that store. And that's the way you should feel anywhere you go to a store like Williams Sonoma. Anyways, love love love this store and I will always come back to look at things for the nth time!!!

Yelp
This review is pertinent to this location only. The store manager here is NOT nice. I was wondering if I smelled funny that day, but I returned to be treated in the same rude, condescending way another day. This was in October- so, no holiday rush excuses. I went back to my regular WS out east and asked a sales associate if it was possible to get a gift receipt the day after a purchase. (I had asked for one, but had not received it- duh, I don't want another gift wrapped paninni grill for myself!) Yes- they have to look it up, but it is possible. The B**CH at the Santa Clara location told me it was NOT POSSIBLE with a sneer. Yes, you are attractive with your three inch heels, but it is apparently too hard to type in a few extra things into the computer. Who works in retail with those shoes- it is NOT Bergdorf's?!? The salespeople are nice, but not ready to handle any hard question other than "can you check me out?" without having to look to the store manager for answers. So, I will be shopping at the WS in Los Gatos or back in Philly or on-line. It is really unfortunate that this location is terrible- my wedding registry, as well as many of my friends are with WS. I am a big fan of Le Crueset which is not inexpensive by any means. Plus, I always buy three boxes of the $10.95 waffle mix- ridiculous!!! I will spend my money where I am treated well.

Yelp
I've shopped at Williams Sonoma for many years, even worked there part time for a while. They have quality products and have had great customer service... not at this store! I received a beautiful Staub cast iron pot from my son and daughter in law for Christmas and it was green with a tree on it. It was purchased in Palo Alto. I wanted to exchange it for one in cobalt blue. The back room employee was helping out at the register and told me the couldn't help me. I didn't have a receipt but rather a credit card statement showing the purchase and a 12/21/17 date of purchase. Box has a bar code and sku on it. They looked it up in there system and now w/o receipt it is a CLEARANCE ITEM. They were very rude and inflexible, elitist. I left the store vowing I will not do business there again! They made me feel like I was begging or dishonest and Chuck Williams who always said his company would do business with you and your grandchildren after you, would roll over in his grave if he saw how they treat people today!

Yelp
Living in a condo the size of a rathole, (by no means am I insulting my landlord or the condo... it's just a little on the small side to hold all of my worldly kitchen belongings), it is so tempting to walk out with a new cuisinart or a pot everytime I walk into Williams Sonoma. Along with carrying a great line of knives, pots, and kitchen accessories, their prepared food mixes and sauces are also a must have in the kitchen. After SO bought the Villaware Belgian Wafflemaker, we've been addicted to the Bellegem Waffle Mix that is only available at WS. I've found that the managers and senior staff members are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Definately a place to register at!

Yelp
I don't like shopping and I don't like the mall, but this store is a bright spot. I get great service and high quality merchandise every time I come in. It couldn't be simpler: walk in, make eye contact, explain what you're looking for, be shown great options at reasonable prices, and then decide what you want. Occasionally I've had to special order something in the store, but usually they have what I need. It costs a little bit more but it is well worth it.

Yelp
I'm livid right now! I placed an order in the store for a 10" &12" Calphalon Unison Nonstick Fry Pans (set of 2) on September 22nd. They were on back order so eta was not till late October. I received the order only to find the 12" pan scratched so of course I called, complained & returned it. The rep I spoke to shipped me another pan that was not what I ordered. I call back and return it, told I should have my item by November 13th. It is November 15th and it's still on "back order" which now I need to wait another 7 days for it to arrive. I cook every night during the week and really use both pans so I've have had to improvise and now I must keep waiting. This is ridiculous!! I'll never shop there again nor will I recommend them to friends and family! Ps. When I asked to speak to supervisor or manager there were none available! Lesson learned= don't buy items on backorder, there is no saying when you'll receive them!

Yelp
Love the store itself but not the staff. Why are most of the people who work here so snooty? I mean, really? On my last visit, I walked in & there had to be about 7 people on the sales floor. No one greeted me until I was on my way OUT of the store. Yes, they have great products but with customer service like that...I'll shop elsewhere!

Yelp
I've always loved this store so I decided to purchase some holiday gifts here. I had an OK shopping experience but I'd rather come on a lazy weekday morning and not during the crazed pre-holiday rush. The first salesgirl I encountered seemed a little overwhelmed but was very helpful and radioed to see if an item I wanted was in stock. After asking them to bring it up she ran off to help another customer I looked around in a little ten foot radius while I waited for my item to come out. About ten minutes later I started to wonder if they'd forgotten about me. Turns out it was at the register the whole time but no one bothered to tell me! I ended up coming back later that day to purchase another gift. The store was somewhat calmer but the staff were clearly stressed. When I asked the girl at the register if she could gift wrap my item she looked utterly annoyed and huffed, "UM, it's an hour wait." Geez. The products are all lovely, even if the staff sometimes aren't. They have a wide array of cookbooks that are filled with yummy recipes and great pictures. They also have any baking item imaginable, a huge selection of fine cutlery, and two of my all time favorite cookwares, Le Creuset and Alclad! I'll definitely continue to shop here for all of my culinary needs!

Yelp
4 Stars for carrying some of the good knives (of course other pretty good stuffs too) but I would give it a 5 star if they had one more thing that stands out from the other store. The staff was very nice but could use a little bit more of specialized knowledge but they were good. I asked about some of the Henckel lines(high end) and the storeclerk did not know of that line. Bed Bath and Beyond's knife specialist actually knew more but the best was the storeclerk at Sur la Table. She knew what she was talking about...from Damascus steel to the angle of the blade. (How most Santoku knives' blade angle are different from European chef knives' and she knew a lot about whetstone and sharpening too....very impressed..Sur La Table!) I didn't see a whole line of Le Creuset either but maybe I didn't look carefully. Oh, if you like Le Creuset, I recommend you take a look at Gilroy Premium Outlet as they have a Le Creuset Outlet. Make sure you join the VIP club or bring your AAA card to the information desk and get the VIP coupon booklet and you'll save even more at Le Creuset outlet.

Yelp
I love shopping at Williams-Sonoma, but my wallet doesn't love me after. Luckily one of my relatives works for Pottery Barn which means she gets a discount at Williams-Sonoma as well. I will not pay full price but at a relatively good discounted price, I'm game to buy, buy, and buy more even though my kitchen is screaming for me to stop.

Yelp
Oh how I love this store!!! Went in today to pick up some of their demi-glace (which is excellent). There was a guy at the front "kitchen" area of the counter cooking - smelled delicious! And he was very friendly. Really, all of the staff there seems friendly and helpful. Great selection of products too. A little expensive, but I will give credit for good quality. It takes me a lot of restraint to not go broke, as there are so many cool things to choose from!

Yelp
My daughter attended the American girl/ Williams & Sonoma cooking class at this location. It was our first class as well as our last class. When we signed up, we had assumed that the cooking class would be hands on where every child would make the recipe on their own. This would have taught the kids so much more on so many levels. Instead, it was the one teacher and each child (if they were proactive) would get a chance to help measure or add in ingredients. This class had so much potential, however, it was disappointing for $30. W&S, if you're reading this, please reevaluate your program! It would be awesome if the kids were able to make the entire recipe by themselves. They may not be able to cook it, but at least they can make the recipe.

Yelp
A kitchen maven's heaven. It's got all the fancy doodads to impress the novice cook but also has the serious chef's accoutrements. Everything from kitchen appliances to pots and pans to spatulas and other knickknacks that you didn't think you needed (and you probably don't, but want nonetheless). Their selection is pretty impressive for All Clad cookware and baking supplies. The salespeople are always very friendly without being pushy. It's pricey, but their stuff lasts, so it's worth it IMO. They also have a good selection of cocktail mixes and baking mixes, along with the fun seasonal stuff as well.

Yelp
Came in just to look. Ended up getting help from an associate to find a house warming gift. Unfortunately the same associated hounded us to buy more stuff. Even while another associate was ringing up our items, the first associate kept suggesting more items for us to purchase. We also found out that if our friends wanted to return the house warming gift they would only get store credit. Perhaps this is the norm for most businesses but I found this to be irritating.

Yelp
Have great selection of baking stuff but I asked an associate to help get a Madeline pan for me cause it was so high up she looks me ignores me then goes back to her work? If your busy say your busy and that you'll have one of you coworkers who is available help me out
