I bought a pair of Williams and Sonoma Salt and pepper shakers from Utica Square. I paid above $60 for them and they stopped working. I called the store to let them know and they said without a receipt to show when I purchase they can’t do anything about it. It had been longer than 3 months….but they hadn’t been working for about a month before I called to let them know. Before threw them in the trash I looked on the bottom of the shakers and it said Williams Sonoma on them. I called back to let the store know that they had their name on the bottom and he said yeah that isn’t going to work either. I then proceeded to let them know as a business I thought they would want to know that their signature shakers were not working. He acted as if he could care less…….they lost my business! I had to give them at least a star.(UNFORTUNATELY!!!)

Nice place with some very attentive clerks. Good items for sale but as expected a little pricey for thongs. I would definitely suggest going there for kitchen items though!

Sally is my hero. WS said there were four of what I needed in stock. I hot tail it over to their store to find Sally herself had just sold one. Leaving three. But, where were they? Sally found them and made sure I got the style/color I really wanted. So, to Sally... thank you! Can't sing your praises enough. You're a kind, kind soul. Side note: I love observing and receiving outstanding sales training... Sally is a fantastic sales rep. Whatever you're doing, keep it up. While I wasn't in a position to purchase the item she recommended (a pasta rack), I'll be back for it and will intentionally buy it from Sally. :)

I contacted Williams-Sonoma due to the inferior craftsmanship on their $30 stainless steel garlic press. I do NOT recommend them as they do NOT warranty their products. When I contacted their guest services, they put the burden on the customer to prove it’s a Williams-Sonoma product (as though they can’t tell by their own inscription on the product).

The customer service is horrible. I dealt with store manager over a pan that I was returning after two days because it was defective. She immediately started to be negative and no helpful without even listening to me. I told her that you have a negative attitude and I don’t want to deal with her. She is red headed

Google
Awesome selection of kitchen goods and some foods. But, extremely high priced. I couldn't imagine why anyone would pay $250 for a frying pan. A jar of braising sauce will cost you $15. Just because your store is in Utica Square doesn't mean you have to add 20% to everything you sell.

My fiance and I came in for a scheduled appointment to create our wedding registry on November 6. Immediately, we were greeted by a staff member who was very cheery and kind. She was unable to help us, so she directed us to the checkout counter. I am not sure if the lady behind the counter was the manager or another staff member because she never introduced herself (She had red hair.). The lady was rude and condescending to both of us. She started by saying the day was much busier than they expected and tried to push us to reschedule during the week. We informed her that we could not reschedule. She acted annoyed that we were in her store and lacked any customer service skills. She continued to say that during the week is easier for them and not as busy. We again said we could not come in during the week. She then said our scheduled consultant never got a lunch break, so he was scheduled to go on lunch at the time we came in and no one else could help. This was not a big deal, because we did not need a consultant to walk around with us. We were fine with asking questions when needed. She finished by briskly explaining how the in-store registry worked and walked away. The only small saving grace was the friendly staff members (one man and one woman) that came around from time to time. Honestly, at that point, I had such a “bad taste in my mouth” about our experience that I wanted to get in, scan our items, and leave! If it were not for the couple of items we wanted to add to our registry, I would have walked out and never returned. Any further business I have with this store will be online or not at all.

Worst customer service ever. Ordered Four items in early November as gifts for a late November birthday. Three of four shipped over a two week period. Out of the blue I received an email On December 11 that asked how my customer service interaction with “Anna” was - even thought I had not made contact with the company. I pulled up the order and it showed the last item was canceled (the largest piece in the order). I did not request that the item order be cancelled and it appears they cancelled it on their own. The item shows availability on their website. What gives? Sorry guys, you just lost a very loyal customer.

Yelp
Pros: so many things from my home are from Williams Sonoma. I have only had very good customer service experiences here. Everything I have ever bought here has lasted for years and years and never needed to re-replaced. Cons: I have no issues with William Sonoma until today when I went shopping with a disabled friend who is a wheelchair user. Yes the store is mostly wheelchair accessible. But there's lots of stairs and so we were always looking for the area where the ramps were. We often found ourselves getting trapped in corners and having to reverse out. My friend sits in a very narrow wheelchair so she was able to fit through all the aisles. But I feel like someone in a regular size wheelchair would not be able to.

Yelp
Pricy place with mostly good quality stock. Every kind of high quality appliance for cooking and drink making. Baking supplies, dinnerware, drink and drink making supplies. Lots of knives and cooking utensils. They do have spices and cook books. They do have crystal. Employees usually very helpful.

Yelp
I bought a $250 chopping board and it's were in two months. Over the years... In fact the past two years I've spent over $60,000 at the store and they would not return the board. This place is ridiculous and probably will not last very long in Tulsa with this kind of customer service. I need to remember that we are a small town and we're gets around quickly. I don't care if they're in my neighborhood is very convenient I will drive over to cooks-nook or something.

Yelp
Went the day after Xmas to get reindeer serving pieces. I was waiting outside when the store opened. Entered and picking up the large serving bowl to be told I could not buy because someone just called to have it held ... excuse me. It is the day after Xmas and someone wants something they need to come to the store. The clerk then had the gall to tell me the caller had a list and she only held one they for them. We'll pick another item. I will think twice about future shopping at this store.

Yelp
L O V E Williams-Sonoma. They get a lot of my money. From the very best appliances to the best dishes and stemware, from the most exotic spices, vinegars and oils to the best smelling products to clean it all up, all can be found here in this cook's paradise. The Utica Square location has expanded over the years and has a wonderful selection of high end cookware, foods, fun gifts and all sorts of high end goodies. I have to hold myself back from buying my paycheck in Riedel stemware anytime I'm in. If you're all stocked up on uni-tasking appliances and wine glasses, stop in and check out the pantry. The Beef Bourgiugon braising base is D E L I S H. Sautee half a pound of bacon, follow by browning diced chuck roast (if you're in Tulsa I recommend a prime roast from Reasor's butcher), dump it all in a crock pot with the braising base. Walk away and return to make some mashed potatoes to serve the stew over and you've got one phenomenal meal. If you're not a beef person, they have a similar Coq A Vin base for chicken. Just one of many groovy, easy products they have to help the busy cook whip up a fabulous meal. During the holidays, I love splurging on their scented counter spray, dish soap, hand soap, and candles. Nothing like replacing the smell of a great meal with the smell of clean, spicy holiday! They also have a variety of other scents to make your kitchen smell clean and fresh all year round. In short...if you love to cook, Williams-Sonoma has something for you. The staff is friendly and the selection is great.

Yelp
The customer service at Utica Square was great with the exception of the woman (no name tag but had Psalms 91 neck tattoo) who YELLED at me when I walked in the wrong door. I did walk in the wrong door, Ill give her that. The exit only sign was small but it was indeed there and I missed it. But Psalms yelled at me which was pretty embarrassing and startling. Then to top it off she whispered to the coworkers near her "I mean there's a sign right there", while there were other customers around as well. Maybe she was just having a bad day, but my goodness! On a separate note, the Harry Potter Cookie Baking Kit is perfection!

Yelp
I just want to say what a joy it was to shop here today with the help of a fantastic lady named Barbara. What a sweet and helpful angel with a bright cheery attitude and knowledge to match. Thank you Barbara!

Yelp
Do NOT order online! I ordered a $450.00 mixer on October 28 that will NOT arrive until AFTER Christmas (January 14th if then). The original arrival date was set for Dec. 7th - BUT on Dec 6th I received notice it would not arrive until after January 14th. AAAAARRRGGG. That is almost three (3) months on the order. The DELAY of Williams Sonoma to state the delivery was delayed really creates some severe Christmas shopping issues. THIS IS HORRIBLE SERICE. I WILL NEVER DARKEN THE ONLINE ORDERING DOOR OF WILLIAMS SONOMA AGAIN. HOW RUDE!

Yelp
This 2 star rating is based solely on service. Williams Sonoma has very high quality products!! I recently registered for wedding gifts at the Utica Square location and have been back several times to exchange and purchase items. The service totally depends on the person helping me. Some of the ladies are very kind, answer questions, and want to help me find what I need. Some don't give me the time of day, or have an attitude. First, the company policy is that couples receive a 10% discount on all items not fulfilled. However, unlike other stores, they will not combine the 10% off with other sales or promotions. This is very disappointing, but doesn't reflect this specific location since it's a company policy. Second, most stores are more flexible with returns on wedding gifts if you don't have a receipt. Obviously, the person receiving the gift has no control over whether or not a receipt was included. I tried to return a platter for store credit, didn't even ask for cash, and the lady helping me was very rude. The platter was still in the williams Sonoma gift box. Third, gift cards at William Sonoma may be used at west elm and pottery barn. When registering, the sales people really hype this up. When I finally got a gift card in exchange for the platter mentioned above that was not on my registry, two ladies were really pressuring me to look around for something else in the store. After clearly saying no thank you several times, I finally told them that I planned to use the gift card on something at pottery barn. One of the ladies rolled her eyes at me. I have been repeatedly disappointed with the service at this location.

Yelp
Not sure why other rating on service is so poor! I went in on Labor Day this year, when many other businesses at a Utica Square were closed, and the ladies in the store that day were extremely helpful. They made suggestions for a gift I was looking for, which I loved, and bought, and they continually offered me pumpkin bread, and went and found baking supplies for me that were not on display in the store. So I love that place! And the product speaks for itself.

Yelp
Very disappointed in the customer service lately. Was treated rudely by a store manager named Ashley this morning. After patiently waiting my turn in line behind two other customers and with others waiting in line behind me, when my turn came to pay for my one item (spatula set), Ashley rudely told me I'd have to wait while she began piling up and ringing up multiple items for another customer who wasn't even waiting in our line. I also had another employee in the cookware dept checkout line rudely ignore me the other day while she continued a long-winded conversation with a customer who had already paid for a large cookware purchase (upwards of $500, I believe). The main checkout desk's lines were backed up and I've always been able to purchase items at the cookware dept desk, but on this particular day, the employee working there (50ish woman with straight, shoulder-length blonde hair and glasses) didn't want to help me. I waited a very long time while she kept chatting with the customer who already paid before she finally said to me in a snotty tone of voice that I could go pay at the other desk, which she could very clearly see was still backed up. I put my item back on the shelf and left the store without being able to make my purchase. I also was not given the advertised 30 percent discount on a bakeware purchase a couple of weeks ago even though the employee ringing me up said, "You get 30 percent off today." Had to make a return trip to the store to get that corrected. Also had an employee leave me waiting a very long time while she supposedly went to search for an item in the stockroom. After a very long time, she walked by me again and said "Oh, I completely forgot about you." She hadn't even gone to look for the item I was hoping to buy! I used to enjoy shopping at this Williams-Sonoma and have purchased a lot of cookware, baking supplies and kitchen gadgets there over the years, but the customer service has gone downhill and I've found several of the employees lately to be downright rude. I've gotten the impression lately that they don't care much to assist you unless you're making a very expensive/large purchase or are purchasing multiple items at a time instead or one or two pieces of kitchen equipment. Incidentally, after this morning's negative experience at Williams-Sonoma, I called The Cook's Nook in south Tulsa to see if they had a similar spatula set and the staff there couldn't have been more gracious or helpful. I went by there and found exactly what I was looking for plus several other items. The customer service and selection there were fabulous and Williams-Sonoma ought to take a lesson from them on how to treat customers.

Yelp
This store is always a great place to check out kitchen supplies. It's getting close to fall, which means I'll be baking a lot more, so I wanted to check out the selection. I found a great fried chicken kit and a spiced pecan pumpkin quick bread mix twenty percent off. The selection is vast and they have every kind of gadget you can imagine. The staff is excellent and willing to answer any question. I plan to come back later in the fall and stock up for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Yelp
Sometimes I just like to walk through this WS to learn and discover kitchen appliances I never knew existed! From garlic presses to full on mixers, cookbooks, spices, cleaning supplies and dinnerware - this place has it all in the best brands and quality. What I love most about this WS location is that it doesn't feel too cluttered. It's open and full of natural light to browse. Oh, and there are always some sort of coffee or treats to sample!

Yelp
I felt very unwelcome here. My boyfriend and I went into this store on his birthday yesterday. We were looking for several things because he loves to cook. It's hard for me to not assume that because I am an ethnic girl with big curly hair and he is a 6'4 African American man with dreads that we somehow made them uncomfortable and that led them to barely acknowledging us. We walked around for about 10 minutes before anyone greeted us, and when someone did, this older lady in a very annoyed tone said "is there anything I can help you find??" But by seeming SO annoyed we said no and continued to look around. When we went into the other section of the store there were three other employees standing there (two of them are regulars at my job and I'm always kind to them. I also work in the square.) Two of the three employees I assumed would help us or even offer to help us. But they wouldn't even tilt their heads up or stop their conversation to say "is there anything I can help you find?" That being said, that'll be our last time at Williams Sonoma in Utica Square and I'll be sure to tell all my ethnic friends to beware of the customer treatment there.

Yelp
The Tulsa OK, Utica Square, Wm Sonoma has such great karma. The stores atmosphere is scented, beautifully displayed and sectioned product rooms for an amazing window shopping, learning and buying experience. I personally am a salad plate collector and have recently went into bowls. I enjoy the feeling I get visiting, every product I have bought from appliances, dinnerware, kitchenware, etc., I have liked the quality. I have encountered mostly great, considerate, capable personnel. Upon reflection I really do not care for sour, demonstrative expressions or personal opinions of sales people shared because you ruin my exquisite shopping at your store experience. Maybe an employee write your complaints, comments, personal customer experiences of agony down, put in a box and share among yourselves, once a month, for your amusement.

Yelp
Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon in June- they were having some local vendors display their wares. Great selection of merchandise, well-displayed. Super-friendly employees- we were greeted and offered help several times. Bonus praise to Joann, the All-Clad specialist. Joann explained All-Clad to me as far as sets and the difference in the products. Plus, she gave us some Tulsa tips since we were visiting. I've been in Williams Sonoma stores over the US and this one is among the best.

Yelp
Everything here is amazing so far. The ladies are friendly and know the area well, so even if you can't find what you're looking for (rare) they can tell you a shop that has it. Wonderfully addictive place.

Yelp
I just finished making a Bridal shower gift purchase over the phone. I spoke with a sales associate named Patty. She couldn't have been more helpful or kind. I selected my gift, paid for it by credit card, And it will be gift wrapped and ready for me in a half an hour! Wonderful customer service! Thank you, Patty, for making my experience with your store first class!

Yelp
I come into this store often and am amazed by the lack of competence on the employees' part, particularly when it comes to technology. I get that hiring 65 year olds is part of your brand, but maybe train them a little more efficiently? Last time I was in, the employee was confused by our wedding registry and kept asking us what an app was (something that did not pertain to the transaction at issue). At first it was endearing, but after several minutes of confusion, it became inconvenient and unprofessional. We went in earlier today to exchange a Christmas gift and almost 30 minutes later were told our employee couldn't complete the exchange (this was after she said "I'm confused...." no less than 6 times while staring blankly at the computer screen). We ended up leaving, unhelped, because the employee couldn't complete a seemingly basic retail transaction: an exchange. Further, no apologies were offered for the inconvenience, nor for the total waste of our time. I'm normally very patient but this level of customer service is unacceptable. It's 2016: train your employees to efficiently use a computer. There's clearly very poor management at this location; next time, we'll drive to a different WS location or order online.

Yelp
My wife and I returned some wedding gifts and the staff were very helpful and welcoming. While the pricing of the goods they sell may be high, the quality cannot be denied! Picked up some baking things, can't wait to try them out!!

Yelp
I absolutely love this store in Utica Square and spend plenty of money in there often. I never write reviews but after an awful customer service incident, I decided to write one. I walked into the store with a return. The lady that works there, Judy, had just helped a previous customer out and was very nice to her. As she saw me walk up, she didn't even say hello. She literally stared at me. So I said hi, she reluctantly said hi and still stared. So I had to ask her "do you want to help me?" Of course she did help but with the most stuck up attitude I have ever witnessed. It continued to get worse as she interrupted me over and over and asked me numerous times why I bought the appliance in the first place if I'm returning it. I told her quietly that this is the worst customer service I have ever had. She replied loudly, "what did you just say?" I told her again and then she spoke very sarcastically at me saying "it will be a few more minutes" which she said to me FOUR times. In the end, I made my return but she made it an awful experience. I don't know if they work on commission but if they do, I will make sure she never gets my business.
