We had a nearly flawless stay, possibly our first here since this became a Marriott Autograph property. I'm admittedly particular, and this property met 99.9% of my requirements/preferences. First, we were very pleased that the room was ready early, allowing us to rest a bit after a hectic drive before a busy evening. Second, the room itself (4061) in the Tyler building was clean, spacious, and well laid out. The location on the first floor was ideal because it made it easier with our heavy suitcases. It was booked as a deluxe king room, but some places would call it a suite. In addition to a large comfortable king bed with a night stand on either side, a small closet, a combined chest of drawers with a safe, mini-fridge and large flat screen TV on top, it has a living area with a desk/chair, coffee table, sofa, chair, end table with lamp, and trash/recycling containers. The latter may seem trivial, but it's not unusual to have to hunt down a trash can under a sink somewhere. Third, the private (not split) bathroom was generously sized with a large shower, a make-up/shaving mirror, a blow dryer, a wide vanity with one sink. There were plenty of towels and excellent quality products in the shower. Finally, parking is accessible in a lot just behind the building. ||If I were asked to find areas for improvement, I would recommend a refresh of the towels which are not as new/thick as they could be, a "soft close" toilet seat, and the repositioning of the bath products opposite the shower so one isn't required to reach through the water flow to access them. ||All in all, it was a great stay, and we'll be back.
