19 Laid-Back Wineries with Real Food in Sonoma County

"With more than 40 wines in their portfolio, Williamson Wines caters tastings to their guest’s wine style preferences, from Bordeaux to Burgundy to Rhone, and loves to enhance what’s in each glass with food. Choose an experience ($50 to 95, offered daily at 12, 2, and 4 p.m.) based on your go-to vino — like the Cabernet, Cabernet, Cabernet or the Enchanting Rhone Styles tastings — or opt for the Icon Wine Tasting, which explores a variety of wines. Each tasting includes food pairings, but you can also upgrade the portions to lunch-sized plates (for an extra $15) for a full five-course meal." - Jess Lander

Google
Great experience. Wines are decent. I got my tickets from Groupon; so cheap. Don't forget to tip the server.

Phenomenal wine tasting with cheese pairing; everything was perfect. Tony and Daphnee were incredibly knowledgeable and fun, highly recommend!!!

From ambiance, to wine tasting, to customer service this place is an easy 5/5. The wine’s themselves are unique as are their pairings of cheese, condiments, & salts. We ended up buying their caramelized onion mustard, pink salt & truffle Parmesan salt. Will definitely be back, cheers!

My wife and I were in the area in July 2021. We just randomly chose places and Williamson was one we figured was open, not busy, and got more personal assistance while tasting some great wines. I bought a bottle of their 2016 Cab Franc and off we went. Flash forward to October 2022 and we had a family gathering. I figured it was time to open the bottle to share. It was one of the best wines we’ve ever had at a family gathering. Now I’m in charge of “bringing the party” to these events and I outdid myself with this. I wholeheartedly would recommend stopping here if you’re in the area.

Google
Our experience was amazing. The wine was some of the best we had on our trip. The winery was beautiful and staff were all very welcoming. As a special treat the proprietor Bill Williamson was greeting and visiting with guests. We had a phenomenal experience with Bill sharing so many great stories. We look forward to visit again. Ron and Michelle from Texas.

Google
This is a must stop winery in Sonoma County. My wife and I did the food and wine pairing and had an amazing experience… Shout out to Gabe, as well! Top notch customer service and was very knowledgeable about the wine making process, food pairing, etc. Highly Recommend stopping in!

Great wine, amazing staff and good food. How could one ask for more.

Yelp
Absolute great experience with the pair wine tasting . Gabe informed us with helpful info regarding the pairings and the history of the winery. We had such a great time and all the wines was delicious. Thank you for the great customer service Gabe and we definitely will spread the word about the winery.

Yelp
Came here for a wine tasting with friends and love it. We wished they had more whites to try opposed to reds but they all tasted nice. The cheese they served complimented the wine very well. The condiments like the mustard they used were good as well that I had to buy them. I ended up buying the Truffle Garlic Salt, Hot Pepper Bacon Jam, Balsamic Garlic & Herb Jam, and the Smoked Onion Mystard. Such a fun experience!

Yelp
Everyone needs to become a member here. My brother in law is so I've been able to try some of their wine and the last few times I visited Healdsburg, I attempted to walk in. Unfortunately both times, they were booked and I was so bummed. During my last trip out last weekend, I made sure to book a wine and cheese pairing. Booking was super easy. I got to my booking early because I was so excited. We were sat inside (they do have outdoor seating) at a cute table with wine glasses, and a menu. The wines were phenomenal and the cheese was to die for! I made the delicious to become a member after the first sip. We even bought some cheese to take home to Sacramento because it was that tasty. The perks you get for being a member are incredible and definitely make it worth it. Thank you to the amazing and friendly staff who made my first visit so memorable. Very excited to return and pick up my first order!

Yelp
The wife and I were brought to this tasting room as part of a wine and food pairing walking tour of downtown Healdsburg. Our host was great. Very friendly and knowledgable. We enjoyed every wine we tasted, especially the sparkling Shiraz, which was not on the tasting flight but our host let us have some as it was my wife's birthday. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this winery as it was our favorite of the 3 we visited on our tour.

Yelp
Avoid Williamson Wines if you are young and melanated Owners Dawn and Bill act like they don't want to be there, but if you are young and melanated, they will make sure you know you are not welcome there. I have been going to their first tasting room since 2014, and the tasting room staff (other than one of the older managers) is always a delight. They are really wonderful. We finally joined the wine club and cheese club in 2022. We started attending member events, which owners Dawn and Bill seem to be obligated to go to, and we realized how they both made sure to avoid us (usually the youngest and almost always the brownest customers there). This weekend was the last straw, and we canceled our membership after being blamed for something staff forgot to do on a past order. They checked my account and realized they were in the wrong, admitting it to us, and still managed to blame us for their mistake. Update: this was not a one off issue, we have noticed being treated differently than other guests many times. I emailed in detail of the many incidents, this was the full response: We are acknowledging your cancellation and have removed you from both the wine and cheese club moving forward and wish you well.

Yelp
We booked a wine a food pairing at their location just down the street. Everything was excellent. Our host Tracy was amazing and super knowledgeable about all the wines etc. We loved the food and it was paired perfectly with the wines. We joined the wine club just so we could keep coming back...

Yelp
What a surprise treat. We popped in here just by chance after eating next door. We enjoyed our wine and cheese flight. And loved the atmosphere which was fun, friendly and interesting. I appreciated the plentiful ideas of food to make with the spices available along with wine pairing that were showing on their YouTube channel while sitting at the bar. It made me hungry. Their club membership would include parties with wine and food pairings. Service was informative and friendly. Looking forward to coming back here.

Yelp
Had a pairing reservation and it was exquisite! PERFECT wine with deliciously prepared food. Absolute awesome experience. Why not 5 stars? Well for some reason the owners who happen to be Aussies, are in bed with another Aussie who hawks spices. And for a very annoying and odd reason, they have their servers showcase/present/sell these spice packs DURING the meal. Very cheesy and off-putting for us, but the quality of the wines and food easily offset. To the owners - tone it down - way down - with the spice selling stuff.

Yelp
We love the food and pairings. The wine is wonderful. The staff is amazing everyone that work for the Williamson are well informed and always willing to help you any way they can. The ambiance is always fun. They have cheese club, spice club and of course a wine club. The pick up parties are very fun. They have recipes that go with the spices and that pair with their wines. I could go on and on. We went to the wine club pig roast and it was wonderful. Thank you so much. Thank for making us feel like family and making wonderful memories.

Yelp
Are you kidding me!!! George, not my brother, but our Wine Steward George was amazing! He knew his grapes and grape regions. I learned so much about wines and their food pairings. Our party of three appreciated his patience and service!

Yelp
Let me first be honest and say that I'm not big on wine. Most wines do nothing for me and I will gladly pass on them. On occasion, I do find a wine that I do enjoy and a recent visit to Williamson Wines was such an occasion. My wife and I were gifted a wine and pair session which we did for lunch. The gentleman leading it was wonderful explaining all the nuances of each glass of wine and how it compliments the food it is paired with. it was quite the learning experience and an eye opener on how both the wine and food was enhanced by one another. As we journeyed through different pairings, I found myself enjoying pretty much each glass of wine. Williamson has a very good and diverse selection of wines in its selection. The names are quite fun as well such as Tantalize Mélange and my absolute favorite, Arouse Mélange. When we were all done eating our dessert my wife and I decided to opt for a case of Arouse Mélange. We never splurge like this but the wine is that good. Even crazier, we returned two months later and paid for the pairing adventure again and signed up for the wine club! So, for a guy who's not really into wine, boy, did I make a commitment with Williamson Wines. :)

Yelp
We had the best time at our wine tasting. Tony was very personable and the cheese parings were delightful. We had very differing tastes and we all found a wine we liked. I highly recommend visiting Williamson absolutely no precociousness. Down to earth and welcoming to all.

Yelp
If I ever overhear someone mention they are spending the day in Healdsburg, I always insist they stop by Williamson Wines for a cheese & wine pairing. Williamson's wines are only exclusively sold at one of their two locations which are conveniently located within a block of each other. My recommendation is to make sure you don't confuse your reservation's location. I've been guilty of doing this but staff has always been kind enough to accommodate my party. I've attended tastings with both large and small groups and they are always so much fun. I'm convinced they have no bad wines! Overall the wine matches the ambiance beautifully. Most people I know come for the wine and end up returning for the cheese. It's a ten out of ten.
google avatar

Yelp
Still the very best in the valley with the greatest hospitality staff. The owners/winemakers, Bill & Dawn are so personable and welcoming. Their special events and club pickup parties with excellent food & wine pairing can't be beat!

Yelp
I remember the days when tasting was free and service was good. I understand that isn't sustainable. I haven't been in years, mainly because there are so many different wineries to try, and eventually, I found other wines I just liked better. The wine here is decent. Nothing is terrible, and the pairing is decent. Then again, that is all subjective. So why the lower rating? A friend was in town, and she wanted to visit Williamson. She also remembers back in the day. We walked in with no appointment and seated quickly. It took a while for our educator to come, and they weren't terribly busy. My annoyance was not so much that the tasting fee is now $25, but there is no option to waive it with purchase of x bottles. I honestly didn't feel like buying bottles and then an extra fee on top that could have been an extra bottle instead. Kinda like 3 instead of 2 bottles kind of thing. The edicator took extremely long times between each pour, and there was a table behind us being super loud and annoying. It ruined the ambiance. I dont need to hear your conversation or the annoying kackle, as we try to enjoy this experience. Nothing was said to them. The spiel between each pour was good, just not enough to sweeten the sour mood. I would have bought wine, but was put off. A shame. I probably won't be back or if I do, I probably will just sit it out.

Yelp
We Joined the wine club several months ago, but we were unable to make a pick up during the pick up party. Finally was able to come over for the pick up party lunch and grab our wine. Gave took care of us and he was fabulous super nice very entertaining and very knowledgeable of the wines we tried. Gabe made the great experience even better. Wonderful wines, great food and we met new friends. Try the wines but stay for the wine club. The founder Bill Williamson came by several times, he has great stories and can explain the wine like no other. JOIN the club.

Yelp
Definitely stop by!! You'll learn more about wine and food pairing than anywhere else!! You can expect a warm welcome and delicious wine!! A must go!!

Yelp
Just returned from my second trip to Williamson. A few years ago I tasted wine in their tasting room and became a member and really enjoyed the wine for at least a year and a half. When Covid hit I ended up canceling my membership. But just a month ago we visited the tasting room and were re-introduced to Williamson wines along with a very, very good food pairing experience. It's clear that this wine maker puts an extensive amount of thought into not only the wine but how to enjoy it with food in a way that brings out the flavors of both the food and wine. Our host that served us was very descriptive about how each pairing was complemented by the wine and we got the opportunity to experience it for ourselves. Some of the food pairings featured spices that are sold at the tasting room. They even have a club for that! And guess what? We signed up again for the wine club as well as the spice club. We're super excited to receive our first shipments so that we can be inspired about cooking again. Every wine they sell is paired with specific recipes on their website. Lots of recipes. That's super cool. Our friends even signed up for the cheese club. That was also very tempting but we will share! Nice job, Williamson.

Yelp
I came here with my fiancée and some friends awhile back and Tony was our host. He was not only incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, but perfect at knowing when we needed attention or our own time. A skill that is often looked over. The cheese and cracker pairings with the wine were phenomenal and it was impressive to see how the flavors morphed as you tasted it with the wines. I highly recommend anyone in town to stop by the tasting room for a wine and cheese flight. Both the indoor seating area, as well as the outdoor parklet are very cozy. The ambiance in general is relaxed, while still being upscale. We appreciated the TV's playing with people cooking using the ingredients they offered for sale as inspiration in what dishes to create with them. If there were anything to nitpick, it would be that they don't offer the cheese club on its own. We would've joined it immediately!

Yelp
Came here per Groupon for their tapas and wine pairing. Delicious! We originally went to the wrong tasting room, but thank goodness they were only two blocks apart from one another! The staff were so helpful in guiding us to the correct location. For our wine and food pairings, we had the following: -Shiitake mushroom toast with the Passion Pinot Noir -Ricotta stuffed shell and marinara with the Allure Meritage red blend -A chocolate torte with the Tantalize Melange red blend Aside from the chocolate torte which was on the dry side, we enjoyed the food greatly! Definitely would have gotten the Passion Pinot Noir if not for the price tag ($65)! Our host, Kevin, did a great job explaining each of the wines. Staff were helpful and checked in on us, including the owner Bill himself! Overall, had an enjoyable wine-food tasting experience at Williamson Wines.

Yelp
Visited two weekends in a row. The first visit was with a group of six for a bottle of wine before dinner inside. The next time was for a tasting on the street patio. That day's flight was - Tinkled Pink $34 Scandal Zinfandel $49 Rapture Pinot Noir $65 my fav Amuse Mélange $49 another one I brought home. Each wine was perfectly paired with cheese and a unique jam. Williamson wines can't be found in restaurants or stores. They can be purchased in the tasting room just off the square in Healdsburg or online. I am amazed at the large diverse selection Williamson has created. The day we were in there was 49 choices by the glass or bottle ranging from $34 to $500. There's no immediate parking in from of the tasting room but Healdsburg has a public lot a few blocks away. Enjoy the walk and window along the way.

Yelp
I made a reservation for the wine and cheese pair tasting. When i got there, its one of those winery that looks like a regular store. They asked if my family want to either sit outside or inside. We decided to sit outside since the weather was nice $20 per wine tasting fee but if you buy a bottle, they will waive the fee. So they gave us 4 different wines and cheese to taste. All the wine they gave us to try was good. Each wine has a unique name each time they bring out the wine. When they gave us the menu list of wine, the bottles seem to be on the pricer side but i still enjoy their wine The staffs here are friendly

Yelp
I love this place. It's a small tasting room but such a great experience. The cheese, spices and sauces are great but the food pairing down the street is great as well.

Yelp
Found this gem on my wife's birthday...incredible pairings by incredible staff...10/10...Mike & Carole

Yelp
I absolutely loved this place. It's a small tasting room but such a great experience. The cheese, spices and sauces and mustered go amazing with the wines. You do get a great sense of what foods would go great with which wines. I have been here many times and no matter who I end up getting as a host the customer service never fails. Service is amazing. The ambiance is nice. I tend to ride with a rowdy crew but so did everyone else at the other tables. So it was perfect.
google avatar

Yelp
Hands down an amazing experience and most importantly great wine! We also had an amazing hostess! I believe her name was Angie. She was super friendly and made us feel oh so welcome. We had a reservation for the cheese and wine pairing which was delicious!!! We learned a lot about the different types of cheese along with the wine that is was paired with. Also, they have amazing seasoning for foods and different types of jams and mustards! I took home a few and I'm still as obsessed with them as I was when I first tried them. This is a wonderful place to enjoy with friends or family. Located in Healdsburg is definitely a must go to when visiting! I highly recommend anyone who has not been, to go TODAY! You won't be disappointed
google avatar

Jorge T.

Yelp
Made a reservation on the fly for a party of four and were graciously accepted in at Williamson Wines. Right from the start Angie was amazing, she matched the energy of the group and was in step with pours and recommendation. We did the wine and cheese tasting and couldn't be more impressed. We even got to try loads of spices and got recommendations for dishes etc. i recommend the mango ginger cheese! One of the best cheese I've ever tried.

Yelp
Healdsburg is such a cute place. Williamson wines was a gem to stop by. When I saw the sign "food and wine tasting" I just had to drop in . Decided to opt by with outdoor seating since it was a nice day outside but they have indoor seating and it's cute in there as well. The wine tasting was about thirty dollars. With that, you get five different wines to taste from. I got one white, a rose , and three reds. All tasted really good. Now it does come with food. With all of the wines I got a mild cheddar cheese and one I got a truffle cheese. The cheeses were paired with some mustards , jams that Williamson wines make themselves. Man, they were quite delish! And they paired exceptionally well with the wines I was served. I almost walked away with some mustards and jams. In my opinion , I regret not walking out with one. Worth the visit I say! If I get the chance to visit their lunch and wine pairing I very much would.

Florence C.

Yelp
Amazing wine and cheese pairings. Unique wine and phenomenal cheese. Best tasting ever. I urge you to go to the countryside Yoakim bridge location and ask for Kevin as your host. He is absolutely incredible. Highly recommend
google avatar

Ethan D.

Yelp
Great location off the square in Healdsburg. Patio seating in converted parking spots. Tastings are food/wine pairings, all of which were delicious and interesting. Relaxed atmosphere with friendly service.

Yelp
If you are going to stop by any tasting room in Downtown Healdsburg, it should be Williamson. They do wine and cheese pairing on the house. They are very confident in their wines and cheeses. We wished we came here first to start our wine tasting day! Instead we ended here which was good but by then it was our 3rd and we were already buzzing. The cheese pairing... incredible! We ended up buying 2 bottles and 2 slices of their truffle cheese. It's soooo good! Oh and their truffle salt. Their reds were really good. Can't wait to crack open their bottle and eat some truffle cheese. The owner also came out and talked with us. She was very enthusiastic and proud in her wines and cheese. I would be too if I know I have good stuff!

Shayla B.

Yelp
Whoa. I've always preferred a winery over a tasting room experience. BUT... if this is how Williamson Wines gets down in Healdsburg, well then honey... I'm ALL in!!! This is simply one of the BEST tasting room experiences that you're gonna find in Healdsburg. Period. A FREE tasting with FREE food pairings?! Count. Me. IN. But, not only that; the service is OUTSTANDING and the wine is superb. It doesn't even sound true, but ooooh it is! I stopped by here for a tasting with a few friends and we were all blown away by the experience here. This tasting room is conveniently located right within Healdsburg Plaza. When you first enter, you'll find yourself at the super social tasting bar. Everyone greeted us with bright smiles as we waited to be seated. The next room over is where they conduct their seated tastings. It's a cute and cozy environment with a very intimate experience. First and foremost, I have to give a HUGE shoutout to TJ! What. A. Stud! This man truly knows his wines AND he's an exceptional entertainer. Basically, he's the sommelier of all sommeliers! We had SO much fun with him! This tasting room is super lively and fun, and now I know why. It's because the sommeliers keep this place alive and poppin'! And, that wine!!! I was shocked to find out that William Wines actually produces over 30 different wines. In my experience, that has always usually equated to the wines being mediocre. Contrary to my belief, the wines that we had at Williamson Wines were absolutely fabulous! Kind of fell head over heels for their Viognier. Damn was it nice and crisp! I LOVE that. The Trinity red blend was smooth and silky... oh so delicious. So let me tell you, I really, really, really don't like Roussane. Not many wineries produce this varietal anyway, but I've always despised it every time that I've tried it. Well, that was until I tried it here. Big ups to TJ for actually telling me to give it a try because I surely wasn't going to. And BAM, this beautiful Roussane just hit me in the face and woke me right up. I was so impressed. We ended up purchasing a bottle and having it for dinner that night. THAT'S how much we liked it. If you can serve me a wine that I don't particularly care for and make me like it... that's just extra points for you. Don't even get me started on the pairings! The cheese with the pepper bacon jam, that cheese with the truffle salt... woo mama! These pairings were simply amazing. Everything was articulated perfectly here! I just couldn't believe it. But what I DO believe now is the hype. Williamson Wines is one of the best tasting rooms that I've ever been to! This experience was so fun and so memorable. What a gem of a place! If you're in Healdsburg Plaza, you HAVE to stop here for a tasting!
google avatar

Angela L.

Yelp
A truly memorable wine tasting experience that's unique and different from 90% of other wine tastings in the Napa or Santa Rosa area! This is definitely a must go place and must do experience if you come to Santa Rosa! Most of other wine tastings are only paired with cheese board. This food and wine tasting includes five wine tastings with five small plates from appetizer to meats to desserts. You will experience the chemistry of each food and wine and how the taste of food changes with the wine.

Tim R.

Yelp
I find it somewhat amusing to see wineries chase critical acclaim in the wine press or solicit "gold medals" to hang in their tasting rooms, whereas Williamson Wines in Healdsburg does none of that. Williamson simply produces stunning, consistently outstanding wine for those who are fortunate enough to discover their tasting rooms. Thanks Bill, Dawn, Sam and team for establishing and sustaining the "gold standard" for quality wine, food pairings and a 360-degree focus on the total customer experience. Looking forward to our next visit. Cheers!

Yelp
I stopped in to kill 30 minutes before a lunch reservation. We had asked to taste a glass each due to our limited time - I had asked for a bottle they had already opened but they had less than a full glass of it left. They told me it was available and poured it for me anyway, later charging me the same price as a full glass. The photo below shows how much I was poured Pretty disappointing all around.

Yelp
Went here with Grand Master Flash Stevie-Steve S. of YEE fame. Apparently people know him in every state, most continents, and several people in Laos. He may be part Laotian. We met up after Blanchard Family Winery also a great spot to hit. We were greeted by perhaps the manager- a hint older than the rest of the crew - Sharp, Congenial, with a warm smile. He showed us to our table. Hmmm very different. Then we had our own guide, Kevin, a very dynamic beef cake Lol. Just saying this guy lifts weights and looked healthy. We went through several wines, excellent explanations. My very close friend, Dana CrackerJills & beau Brauny, recommended them. When I have higher expectations and am excited about wines that everyone doesn't create, I ask more questions and drill into the details of why and how they're doing it. Kevin's knowledge is above and beyond most wine hosts I come across. Think Sean Thackrey wines - very creative delicious wines as were these. GMS (Grand-Master-Steve) and I both had a great time and bought some juice. On our way out the gentleman at the front suggested another day for another visit to their Wine Pairing Experience down the street. I will definitely be checking that out.
google avatar

Ricky R.

Yelp
If you have a worldmark bracelet visit this spot for sure. With your worldmark visit you get the tasting for free. The tasting they do is amazing. It is wine paired with cheese and a topping. The tasting list was amazing, we found a few wines that even I enjoyed. Hell we ended up purchasing a bottle of rose for us to drink. The cheeses and the mustards they offered were stupid good too. We ended up purchasing a bottle of beet mustard as well. Plus as an added note the gentleman that helped us did an amazing job and sold us on all aspects.

Yelp
My family has always loved coming to Williamson wines. Whenever we visit, we feel like we're family here. The staff is so incredibly friendly and funny. The food and wine pairings are also fantastic. The truffle salt on cheese pairing is probably my number one fave. I highly recommend a visit if you're ever in the Healdsburg area.
google avatar

Daneen G.

Yelp
The wines were divine, but Tracey was the angel of the evening. She made and East Coast lady feel comfortable in a west coast world all while feeding me the most delicious cabs and wine pairings. The CA coastline has nothing compared to the sunshine she brings to the table!
google avatar

Yelp
We were recommended to taste this spot because we stayed at WorldMark Wyndham in Windsor. It was an awesome experience with staff. We did the cheese and wine tasting. Ended up becoming wine members because we love every wine we tasted. Bought a few jams and their truffle salt then later when we got home recreated our own tasting with the wine we bought.

Yelp
Wonderful! Came here with my fiance for the wine and cheese tasting and George was so fun and helpful through the whole tasting. We loved the cuvee and bought the truffle salt and a horseradish and beet spread that we loved so much with the cheese. Will definitely return!
google avatar

Yelp
The people who help us was great!!! They were so informative and the pairing was great. There was a new female worker who just started and just wanted to add she was hilarious and will do a great job in the future!
google avatar

Yelp
Too much focus on selling their various accompaniments. Wine was not worth the premium price, after being served a corked bottle during the tasting, and not having a Pinot that didn't almost taste like a tempernillo, we quit without making it through the tasting. Maybe it was an off day, but I wouldn't recommend this stop on your tasting tour

Paula E.

Yelp
New anti family/child policy made me cancel my membership after 10 years. First off, I used to love this tasting room. They do have good wine and a nice setting. I first joined when I was single and in grad school. I bought wine from here to serve at my wedding as it has some of the only white wines I really like (usually a red wine drinker). Now, after letting my membership lapse i rejoined after visiting with a friend and my kids. I'm now divorced and with two kids, I explained that when I rejoined- my children (4 and 6) were with me! I es told it's not a problem to bring them to the pick up parties. So I reserve my free pick up party date and get told that it's not suitable for kids since they serve alcohol (this would eliminate kids from almost every restaurant btw). BUT... it would be ok if they came for $70. I explained they don't eat that (wonderful) food, they've been going since they were in diapers and I was never charged. Apparently it's not that way now. So unless you want to pay $35 per kid for them to be allowed into a "free event" don't become a member unless you don't have children.

Yelp
Omg the absolute best place for wine tasting customer service is top notch, the food is delectable, and the wine is to die for! This is a must try

Yelp
They're one of the few wineries that do a food pairing with tasting in the area, so it makes sense the appeal from the crowds. However, I find that I enjoy coming here for the spices, cheeses more than the wine. The wines are pretty good, they do go great with their food pairings and recommendations, but they aren't particularly exciting or exceptional wines in my view. The place is always crowded, because of the novelty of the wine and food pairing and being downtown walking distance - I'm always dodging strollers or big groups whenever I visit which takes away from the ambiance of wine tasting. Often times they'll ask you to sit with another couple if you're only 2 people to accommodate as many parties as possible. It also takes forever to get through a tasting, unfortunately, because of the food pairing aspect. We absolutely LOVE their truffle salt (it's a staple for making popcorn at home and affordable). Many of their rubs are fantastic for meats also. My recommendation...shop for some spices, snacks, pick a bottle of their wine that speaks to you on paper and go sit in the park instead of hanging out at the winery for a tasting.

Yelp
We really enjoyed all the wines we had with Rachael including the different spreads and cheese. Love the friendly and relaxed vibe! I'm enjoying the Rose back in Florida as I write this review. We frequent Napa Valley and this will definitely be one of my go to stops. Thanks Mark and maybe next time we can get you in the jet

Yelp
Williamson never disappoints! This has been my favorite CA winery since my earliest trips to Healdsburg nearly ten years ago. I make it a point to visit at least once on every trip, and was a member of their wine club for years. I've never been disappointed with their wines and they've only gotten better over time. The pandemic has made PA's archaic alcohol laws even worse, and good wine is one of the more difficult things to come by, let alone have delivered to your front door. I reached out to Williamson to see if they were still shipping to PA, and received a call from Kyle who assured me that they were. Kyle and I talked through the options and some of the deals Williamson is currently offering. I opted for a three pack of grenache for $99, plus a few other selections: the cuvée which is always a winner, a rosé and chardonnay. I'm not a huge chardonnay person generally, but Williamson's chards are an exception. I simply love their wines and they pair so nicely with food. Their website has a lot of great tips for pairing and I always refer to it before selecting a bottle from my collection to go with a meal. Bookmark these fine folks for your next Wine Country trip, but consider them in the meantime for fantastic wines delivered to your front door!

Yelp
I really enjoyed our time at this tasting room. Each taste was paired with some bite and often entertaining story about the pairing. I never felt pressured to buy the wine or the accoutrements but they were appreciated (and I'm not gonna lie, there was NO WAY I was walking out withOUT that truffle cheese!)
