Food is always a hit. Portion sizes are huge, you could easily share with someone. I love their buffalo chicken wings and of course their Burgers and steaks 🥩👌🏼I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone.

So we've been here 3 times since we've moved to the area. Just this weekend we went both Sat AND Sun. Food is so good! The portions are HUGE!! And yes, we got the same appetizers both days... 😂😂 So adding to my original review, yes SAME appetizer! 😂 I got the orange chicken and wife got a chicken sandwich and as usual, excellent! Cream of chicken with rice soup! Another addition. Usual appetizer, wife got the taco salad again and I got a Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken breast. Fantastic!

I don't care about any other restaurant that's opening up. I'm not willing to bet on a great meal. Every single meal I've eaten here at Williamsons was amazing and Priced perfect. The servers which I'm thinking we've had most of them were also amazing.

Surprised our dad with a birthday dinner here. Food was perfect, hot and tasty. Lots to choose from on the menu. Each of us loved our meals. Generous portions, to which most of us had food to take home. Service was fantastic. Our waitress even brought out dessert with a birthday candle for us. (Wish I could recall her name. A little older, been working there a while.) She was always smiling and humorous; she made us feel welcome and taken care of. A little crowded in the dining room as the tables were close together. But we were comfortable and were able to easily talk and hear eachother. Hostess kindly took a few group photos for us as well. Overall a great experience from the moment we walked in until we left with our tasty leftovers in hand!

We discovered Williamsons last year and have been constantly coming back since. We love they can accommodate our big family & never give us any problems with reservations. We are always very happy to Dine while having Alicia as our server she is BEYOND AMAZING! Staff is always very welcoming and friendly , food is always Delicious & great portions. We recommend to all our family and friends and love going here for special occasions as well 🧡

It takes a lot to get a low review because doing good business is intentional, worth while and takes dedication to employees and customers. The staff at Williamson greeted our party at the door ask for our reservation and told us the specials. The decor was nice and clean. Bathroom kept up and clean. The atmosphere pleasant and food delicious. Timing for food to get to us didn’t take long. The waiter was a bit forgetful since we had to ask for water refills each time he came to the table. He seemed to be having an off night.

We love coming here! Its quickly becoming our regular spot. Only reason I give it only 4 stars, our last two times wasnt very good. My taco salad had a lot of wilted lettuce in it and my husband did not like his burger. We are chalking it up to a off day. The servers are always so friendly, the soups are good!

They've got fantastic burgers and wraps. We loved the food when we got it to-go. So we decided to dine-in on New Year's Eve because of that. Love the Christmas tree and the vibes. Found out when we got there that they only had their holiday menu, which is more limited and does not include burgers or wraps. Disappointed as, again, that's why we showed up. We decided to stay anyways and so she got the chicken piccata and I got the chicken parm. Neither of us were fans after trying the pasta. Maybe the chicken piccata is an acquired taste, but the red sauce on the chicken parm was just so bland and bad. $50 on pasta down the drain to be honest. Barely ate any. I hate wasting food but we ended up throwing out the food at a stop on the way home. Sorely disappointed as we could've gone to olive garden and gotten more flavorful pasta for cheaper. I'll probably come back for a burger, but it won't be for a while after wasting $90 on the night (got an app + added a tip for dine-in). Burgers and wraps: 5 stars Pasta: 0 stars

Today, we had the privilege of encountering a real-life angel in the unlikeliest of places - our waitress. Following our daughter Kim's radiation consultation, we decided to take her out for a meal, and it was there that the waitress overheard our conversation. She noticed my daughter's chemo cap and took it upon herself to initiate a conversation. What transpired next left us all in awe - the waitress had herself undergone treatment for breast cancer six years ago and took the time to reassure my daughter that her hair would grow back. Her own hair, she explained, had grown back long and thick, along with her eyebrows and eyelashes. She ended by calling her "beautiful" and that made her smile. This moment of kindness was precisely what my daughter needed to hear today. Thank you for taking that moment with us. Its so appreciated. (Along with the wonderful food.) In a world where division and strife often dominate the headlines, it is heartening to remember that there are still individuals who genuinely care about others. Let us all strive to pass on this kindness and share our humanity With one another.

Visiting family and stopped by for lunch, food was amazing the service was excellent & the people were so kind and attentive. Definitely recommend 10/10!

Stopped here for lunch with my wife. The menu was diversified enough and we both found what we wanted. They also have daily lunch specials and sell liquor. My New York strip sandwich was huge and came with side of fries and soup. Wife got the Greek salad and it was unbelievably huge. We ended up eating the rest of it for dinner later that day. Service was great and the ladies waiting tables been doing it for a very long time so they know exactly when to appear and what is needed. Plenty of parking in the back.

Food was soooo good and our waitress was great! Steak kabob over rice- seasoned perfectly and so flavorful.

Called several days ahead to assure seating for Mother's Day. We arrived a little early for our reservations and every person at the hostess desk greeted us with big smiles. Not long after giving the party name we were seated. I generally wouldn't comment on this, however it could be a problem. We were seated at a table as I pulled my chair out it sort of slid, so we held the chair for our Mother to assure the chair would not slide from under her. We all noticed the unusual sliding of the chairs all around the table. I looked down to see if maybe the floor may have been wet but it was not. Our waitress came rather quickly and took our beverage orders to allow us to look at the menu. Glad to have time to look over the Specials as well. There were many appetizing meal offerings. One of our party ordered Calamari as an appetizer. I tasted it, however not very good. They tasted as though they were the frozen pre battered kind and there was no additional seasoning on them. The marinara sauce didn't really do anything for the taste. And they were rubbery, very chewy. Fortunately there is a different take on dinner (for the most part). A hot loaf of bread with sweet butter was brought out with our salads and one of the party got the Chicken soup. The person who got the soup raved about how good it was and there were plenty pieces of chicken in the soup. Surprisingly everyone enjoyed their meals or the main protein the mixed vegetables had a lot to be desired. The veggies were over cooked and mushy and did not have much seasoning on them. Although it was a good blend of vegetables. Everyone did really enjoy their main protein with all of the meat cooked to the requested temperatures. All in all the food was good, some items needed seasoning, there was a good blend and hearty servings - we all had enough to take something home for a later snack. We did order desserts to go. I can only speak for the one I ordered, and that was the Carrot Cake! Moist and delicious and enough for two servings. I recommend this family style restaurant you get great service (waitress we had was fantastic!). Oh and if you like Adult Beverages they have a full bar. Hope you enjoy when you visit them.

The service was great and the food was delicious. The Greek chicken had amazing flavor.

The food is good, the problem with this restaurant now is they are not open late anymore, not even on the weekends. This used to be one of our go too late night restaurants and now they're not open late anymore. The last time you were there it was very crowded so they might want to rethink being open a little longer. They always have good soup. They always have good service and they have a great variety on their menu.

We made a stop here during lunch while we were in the area. So so glad we did. The restaurant is bright and welcoming. The service is excellent. The food portions are huge and not to mention DELICIOUS. My salad was loaded and Hubby's NY strip sandwich was tender and the melted cheese... yummmmmmy. There is also a bar area with high tops and a gaming area if you are feeling lucky .

Stopped here on Friday the 7th of March. I used to go to this building back in the 90's. Obviously different management and decor back then. My fiancée and I loved this place. It is much more open and the decor was fantastic. Our waitress was just plain awesome and the food was delicious! She had the clubhouse sandwich and I had the prime rib sandwich with au jus sauce. We both had fries and the portions were more than satisfactory. It was nice to eat good food, in a good atmosphere without breaking the wallet. With tip we walked away paying $45 give or take. We will be back.

Let's start with the staff. Everyone was so friendly. They definitely work as a team to provide supreme service. The food was so delicious. Our only mistake was ordering a dish each to go. Between the 2 apps (ate 1pc of each) and the soup. We were already feeling full by the time the entrees arrived. Back to the soup. Best ever French onion ever. I'll be back for that alone. We got there around 11:45 on a Thursday. There was a pretty decent crowd. Food came out super hot and quick.

Huge thank you to Billy Les and the Williamsons staff. This is my favorite and go to restaurant every time we go out to eat. My little Presley is the big 10 and she wanted to go here too for her birthday dinner. She wanted a grown up meal.. I think the food plate weighed more than her! If you haven't eaten at Williamson's Restaurant & Bar then you have no idea what you are missing! The food is amazing!!!!! And for the price....well he could double it and it still would be worth it! The people . The food . The portions crazy big, the price . And the desserts!!! If ya ever go there you have to get the strawberry cheesecake and their world famous carrot cake!

My mom and I went here and loved it! The service was great and food came out fast. We ordered the spinach and artichoke appetizer. The chips were a little stale, but the homemade bread was fresh and so good! My mom got the baked scrod with mashed potatoes and green beans for her entree. She said she liked it a lot. I ordered the reuben sandwich with fries and cream of chicken soup. I loved the homemade soup. The sandwich was good and the meat wasn't fatty. Overall, the prices were fair and good food quality. We will be repeated customers and would reccomend others!

A real gem! Service and food were spectacular. Starting with the fresh warm bread and butter.... YUM! The french onion and veggie soups were delicious. All of us ordered ribs and they fell-off the bone. Lots of food at a reasonable price. If you haven't been here.... GO!!

We arrived at this restaurant that's only 10 miles from where we live, but we had never been there and didn't know anybody who had. It was very well appointed beautiful restaurant with plenty of parking they brought us in and we had to wait in the bar area for approximately five minutes And then the young lady took us into the beautiful carpeted area and seated us. Our waiter Rory came to us with a big smile. We explained to him that this was our first time there and I asked him what he liked on the menu. My wife ordered chicken breast done Grecia style, which came with rice and veggies and black olives and pepperoncini's and a salad shit about a quarter of it it was huge. I ordered chicken shish kebab, which came with rice, veggies, black olives, pepper, Cheney, and a piece of goat cheese and a salad. The salads were better than good And the chicken in both meals was terrific and they brought us a free loaf of bread, hot bread, and butter, which we both enjoyed and I can't find anything to say about this place that isn't great. It's an easy five star restaurant.

I've had a tough month of reviews in July... But the last three restaurants that I've attended had been phenomenal number one Palermo's on 95th in Oak lawn. Goat and Vine in Bolingbrook and now Williamson's restaurant in New Lenox all wonderful restaurants.. So let me start my review I started off with my favorite soup which is baked french onion and it was delicious... We ordered an appetizer plate which consisted of potato skins, onion rings, ribs, mozzarella sticks And wings $17.50 well worth it... They had a special menu which we had a ribeye steak which my daughter had was very juicy. Not tough. It was on a special page. Special price I had ordered also from that menu which was only $12.50 was the chicken stroganoff.. I love stroganoff but most places make it with beef and I personally don't eat beef So it was a real treat to be able to have this and it was delicious.. I also had ordered the sesame chicken over rice was also good. More of an Americanized entree.. My son-in-law ordered Philly beef sandwich which was also good. The slices of beef were tender The entrees came with soup or salad.. being a Soup connoisseur... As easy as chicken soup can be to make, I cannot tell you how many restaurants can mess it up sometimes by adding too much chicken Base.. . I could have probably ordered five bowls That's how good it was. We had a side salad of Caesar which was also delicious. The romaine was fresh fresh parmesan and their croutons were fried perfectly. Not burnt hard or old... I had to hit their dessert menu their cakes are sliced generously so they are shareable. We ordered the brownie with ice cream which also was good and a seven-layer fudge cake that was dry. I would like to order it again but I feel I have to ask if that's the way that it's supposed to be but the carrot cake that was spot on moist the cream cheese was balanced. It was wonderful.... We had the pleasures of Sheila serving us. She did a fantastic job... Made it very comfortable and was very efficient.... They have plenty I'm parking which is great and it was right off i-80. If you're ever out in that direction I would suggest stopping by to grab lunch or dinner... The restaurant is beautifully designed. Very clean... full bar bar with slot machines... Very cozy entrance with seating area. If there's a wait ....and carryouts are available..., I would check out the special page. They changed daily with lunch and dinner. I wanted to take my son out for for a nice birthday dinner. And I think we would've enjoyed a fast food place more. We ordered the "crab stuffed" shrimp for an app, it was nothing as described. It was a sloppy cakey mess and the "butter herb dressing" tasted like a country gravy. Reminded me a little bit of a crab cake but that's not what I ordered even as a "crab cake" it was inedible. My salad was warm and the margarita was syrup. Not to mention we had little bugs (assuming gnats) flying around us and our food the whole time. When I mentioned that the shrimp wasn't what I was expecting and not as described I was told "there's nothing they can help if I just don't like it" Will not be returning.

How do people actually want to eat here? The coconut shrimp had no flavor and full of grease. The patty melt was horrible as the meat was so dense and tough, the fries were soaked in oil. BF got the ribeye which he said was good but the baked potato was hard as a rock and the chefs choice of vegetables was from a frozen bag, and the steak was sitting in the water from the frozen vegetable. disgusting! Never going back! WASTE of $70 plus tip!

I have mixed feelings about this place. In summary, the place looks nice and the service was great which I can appreciate because it's rare these days, but the entrance/waiting area smell so cheap and the food is a hit or miss. We started with the coconut shrimp which we enjoyed very much. Then came the bread and soups included with our meal. Mine tasted good at first but it was also very salty and heavy. I ate half my bowl and immediately felt sleepy. For my meal I ordered a prime rib sandwich which was not what I got. Instead they brought out a plain Italian beef. I wish I had a picture of it because it was by no means a prime rib sandwich, and it was an incomplete Italian beef. Dipped and soggy on one side but boring without the peppers. I chose to not eat it, after all I was full just from the soup and bread. My husband got the burger on the lunch special and it was on French toast bread. Also nothing to brag about. Lunch for 2 sandwiches and one appetizer was $50 before tip. We left very full yet disappointed with our food.

WOW,WOW,WOW.. DELICIOUS!!! My family enjoyed the meals and desserts! Our waitress Irene was as always very courteous and helpful.

GREAT food, they give you HUGE amounts. Slightly pricey but WORTH. IT. Will definitely come back. The Caesar salad was bomb, I got the greek chicken which was very tender and not dry at all. It came with really good Greek potato and season veggies. Service was quick too. Just over all very good experience. Also we went on Mother's Day which was pretty hectic but even with that, they did a spectacular job. oh! And I almost forgot they give you free bread which is warm and softer than a baby's butt!

This is one of those restaurants you go to whenever you're celebrating something or want to feel like you're eating somewhere fancy (without the fancy prices). I've always had great service and enjoyed my meal here! The whole family has come here multiple times a year for the past decade.

Everything you could want is here. God is good and plentiful. Service is always outstanding! Our fave go to place. Soups yum!

My mother and I stopped at Williamson's on a whim while driving hungry. The blackened chicken ciabatta sandwich was seasoned to perfection, and the peach cooler was mixed well. Mother says they serve the coldest beer around. The prices also can't be beat. Williamson's is definitely worth the stop in!

Always a good place to eat. Review days and hours . They are closed certain days of the week. Plenty of parking

Place is clean. Ample parking. Service is friendly but could be stepped up. In this category of restaurant you should not have to ask for refills. They serve pepsi products and said I couldn't have my coke that I was in the middle of drinking. First time ever that i have been told this. If you want to be number 1, you have to serve the number 1 drink. Menu has a great selection. Servings are ample. Desserts ore over sized. Music ambiance needs improvement. They don't separate checks. Extra 2 dollars for a extra plate to share. Tip added if over 8 people.

I have been eating at this restaurant a long time, the food is very good and large portions. The service is great we have a favor waitress and she is great we eat their at least twice a week. Ambiance was nice but, lately we have tiny flying bugs flying around our food could be gnats or some other flying insect. I can't enjoy the meal when I have to shoo the insect away. My husband refuses to go back till this issue is corrected and I agree. Can people see these insects flying above the food or right in your face they are small maybe people don't want to say anything. In time it reflect on his business. Hope he looks into this problem. Bring your appetite! This place is outstanding. It's such a nice atmosphere, the staff are very friendly and conversational and the food is good and reasonably priced. The quality of service is superb! They have ample indoor and outdoor seating options. I'd definitely suggest this place for an afternoon lunch or a casual dinner. They have a lot of great daily specials and soups. They have a huge variety in general. My favorite has been the Buffalo chicken wings; they're always hot, fresh and saucy. They also have really good burgers and salads. Our food is always ready in no time and the portions are always wonderfully sized. I always have leftovers when I leave. It's great because even if you go on a busy Saturday, you'll receive fantastic service. The staff members practice social distancing with tables and cleaning. I warmly recommend!

My husband's fave place in all of New Lo. Egg rolls are awesome and so is their homemade bread with honey butter.

The food is decent, the ambiance is good, the service is usually spot on. It's a solid place. Thoughts for improvement... most of the dishes could be tweaked. I always feel like they are "almost" there. But I'm never blown away. Like the Caesar salad has parm 3 ways... grated, shredded and shaved. It's too much and the most expensive item in the recipe. Scale it back it will improve flavor and reduce cost. Along these lines I would look at each recipe and presentation. Most dishes are good, but could use adjustment to make them great. With these adjustments they place could be packed each night.

Late afternoon stop. Calamari a bit chewy served with very good marinara. Caesar salad disappointing with limp lettuce and no anchovies which I expected at an upscale place at these prices. French Onion soup excellent as was the rib eye steak. Orange Roughy pretty fishy and a little dry. Very tasty sauce. Vegetables tasted like frozen then microwaved. Baked potatoes not cooked completely. We were here early but again at this price I expect things to be ready to eat. The biggest disappointment was the fish bone that stuck in my throat for a couple minutes (I was never choking, still scary). Excellent service. Friendly, attentive and professional.

I freakin love this place. Food is high quality and big portions. It's a wide variety too. They have the best soup around. I usually order in from Grubhub and they pack the food so well! Soup never spills. I've dined in a few times and was impressed by expanded menu when you eat there and the pleasant staff. My only suggestion is to post the daily soups on the website or Facebook or in the Grubhub ap. I am always calling to ask the soups so I can a note in my grubhub order for the kind I want. I haven't had anything I didn't like here. The sandwiches are huge and delicious. I like their pasta. The salads are great and are not stingy with the proteins. I think there was a whole order worth of chicken tenders on my Buffalo chicken salad. Highly recommend this place!

had fried calamari and a reuben sandwich. Reuben was generous, the white bread it was made on was a surprise as I am used to rye or pumpernickel. the corned beef was not from a brisket, deli corned beef not as flavorful but easy to slice for the restaurant. give the sandwich a C. the calamari was perfectly breaded, but because they used the rings off a big squid, it was tough. and I am still wondering where all my tentacles went - the best part of fried calamari.. nary a one. give the calamari a C also. Williamson's kinda has an idea of what they're doin, but I will not remember my meal as something I want to treat myself to again. friendly staff, they gotta replace them filthy drop ceiling tiles. I was really hungry after driving all day and I am really too old to be eating in franchise fast food places. I had heard a positive review of this place from a family friend and there are plenty other good reviews of this place so I gave it a go. I have learned that most often new dining experiences will be a big let down. and that is why I cook and eat at home. got a handful of places Northwest Chicago I return to when I wish to treat myself and my wife. try the calamari fritte at Pasta de Arte on Milwaukee ave. they have excellent mussels in garlic wine sauce as well. Andy's deli south of DeArte has a sit down section where you can dine on a number of excellent Polish specialties they serve,. China Chef in Morton Grove on Lincoln Ave. is a fantastic place as well.

We're from out of state and stopped here on a whim to eat. We had 6 starving kids (10 & under) with us and picked the restaurant to please our son. Once inside we decided to leave without ordering because the restaurant seemed much too classy and posh for us Ohio yahoo's, but the hostess greeted us cheerfully and assured us children were welcome and food was reasonably priced. Boy was she right! Great food, fast service, clean and beautiful restaurant, and friendly staff! 10/10 I highly recommend!​

I was so excited to try this restaurant out. My boyfriend had been there a few years previous and had really enjoyed it. Nice decor. Lovely waitress called Taylor. We were seated in a booth at my request. Looked at the menu - SO MUCH FOOD. My boyfriend had come for sea food. Everything seemed to be deep fried. We asked Taylor and she said we could have any of the seafood grilled. So he ordered the stuffed shrimp and the calamari - both starters. The calamari arrived and it was rubbery and very difficult to cut. He couldn't eat it. Then the shrimp. Obviously not fresh and really hard to cut. He was very disappointed. The Italian wedding soup was very good though.... We ordered cocktails - and I am not sure they had ANY alcohol in them. So disappointed.

We Love Williamson's great people, great food and drinks! Party rooms available for a variety of events. We have had birthdays and showers there. Wait staff and James the bartender are awesome!

This is my brother-in-law's favorite restaurant. I don't understand why. My husband and I both got burgers. They were big and we took half home, but nothing special. Size isn't everything. The side of fries was also large. Flavor was just below average, frozen perhaps? The sandwiches also came with soup. We had cream of mushroom with just a sprinkling of mushrooms and french onion soup which tasted oniony, but only had a few onions in it. On top of the disappointing food, the dining room had no personality and service was slow. Taking the whole experience into consideration, I gotta say I am now worried about my brother-in-law.

The atmosphere is very nice, so we're the waitresses and the bread. However when it came to the meals.... It was an awfully experience. I ordered the Cesar salad, two of my children ordered meatballs and spaghetti , and the other a grill cheese. The grill cheese was perfect. The spaghetti and meatballs was rancid, the meatballs were sour. My son had to use the washroom right away, he was sick. My daughter complained of a stomach ache right away. My salad was also bad, like the dressing was a week or two old. I was very disappointed. I spoke with the waitress, she said thanks for letting us know. Can we get you anything else, I said no thank you. Then she gave me the entire bill. Which I said I was not going to pay, the food was old. I asked manager to taste it, she would not. She insisted the food was good, and was going to make me pay the $4 kids meal.... She then asked me if I wanted to box up the food to go.... I asked her if she was listening at all.... The food is rotten. I had never been there before, and I will never go back, and I suggest all to beware.

We just met friends for dinner. They had the Reuben & French Dip sandwiches that they said were just okay. My husband had Chicken Alfredo & I had the Parmesan Crusted Chicken, which was delicious! Service was attentive. My only complaint is the gnats flying around our food & drinks. We experienced the same gnat issue this past summer & we blamed it on the heat the first time. Very disappointed to have the same issue in the middle of November. Williamson's needs to get that issue under control or they will lose more customers!

I love this place. Great food and service every time. The menu is broad and all the items all seem quite fresh.
