I can't begin to tell you how awesome this place is! Literally everything was in point!! So between all of us we tried the catfish plate, the sweet and spicy chicken sandwich with onion rings, Cajun craw fish, and some plain craw fish and some peach cobbler! Dayum! Everything cooked to perfection. Chicken was so good and as i continued to eat it it got spicier and just good. Omg! The onion rings were heavenly! So so good! The catfish good the queso and salsa so good and the crawfish were so reasonable in price definitely made a huge impression. The service was outstanding and just a great environment! Our new go to spot! Come see for yourself!!!

First time dining here and didn’t know what to expect. You order at the counter and seat yourself. Once we found a seat we were almost immediately greeted by a server who let us know he would be taking care of our order. Food came out quickly and our server checked in a couple times to make sure we were satisfied. It is a scratch kitchen and our food was delicious. Would recommend looking at menu online prior to arriving if you want more time to review the menu. They have a good size menu with lots of options and we felt a bit overwhelmed trying to decide while standing at the counter.Casual atmosphere. We sat inside but they also have a nice patio area for outdoor seating.

Ate here after inner space caverns. The catfish was really good! The Country fried steak was average and the shrimp basket was average as well. Nothing against it. The food was good. My son said the burger was really good too. Service was very attentive and food came out very quickly. It was a good environment. I would definitely come back.

We went here on a Friday evening for the first time. The line to order was a short wait. We mentioned it was our first time visiting and I asked the order taker a few questions about their different tacos. He told me his opinion and why he liked one vs the other. I decided to go with his suggestion and ordered the Chipolte Shrimp tacos, blackened with their street corn and coleslaw. My husband got a burger and gumbo. He said his burger was good but the gumbo didn’t have much flavor. My tacos were full of flavor with the chipotle sauce, not too spicy considering the shrimp were blackened- which is what I was hoping for. I’m not much of a spicy food person! Their street corn was also extremely good, a little spicy for me but I couldn’t stop eating it! The coleslaw was different in a good way. It wasn’t big and chunky, not too vinegary or too much mayonnaise. The place is decorated nicely and the staff very friendly and informative. Our server was very attentive, checking on us several times during our meal. We had a great experience and will be waiting patiently for the new location to open in Leander - it’s “proposed” as of this review.

Ordered the sampler as an appetizer the onion rings were phenomenal. The pickles were good but would have been better if they were a thicker cut. And it was literally enough to feed a small army. My wife had the snow crab. I had the Texas fried chicken club. It was all delicious. She said the crab was a bit salty though. Needless to say we will be back.

You go to a restaurant for hopefully good food. I ordered the chicken fried steak. It was a large one with a whole lot of breading. It was cold and seemed to have been under a heat lamp for awhile. The side salad was also old tasting with aged cherry tomatoes. Even the red onion slices were limp. The staff was very friendly but one doesn't pay for smiles. It's all about the food guys. Get it together please.

I had the willies icehouse fried Cobb salad, I added avocado w/ ranch I didn’t like the sauce that comes with the salad but to each is own lol Second picture I ordered the Fried Chicken patty on Texas toast with mayo lettuce and tomato with a side of fries and ranch

Ordered a takeout/curbside order today 07/04. I am disappointed because I usually have a fantastic experience. I eat at this restaurant almost every week or so. I ordered a Bacon Willie Burger, and the burger was undercooked, almost raw. The fries were also very soggy, which is also very rare to see. I opened the takeout box within 5 minutes of receiving my order. Other small things, the Coke ended up being a Dr Pepper, and the wings were cold. I’m assuming it was just a busy day for the holiday, but unfortunately it was not the greatest experience today.

Willie's was a fun (and filling) experience! The ambiance is great. Everything inside is painted with a rustic faded paint appearance. And I loved all of the roll up doors! Pure Texas! The ordering concept is a little different and admittedly not my favorite way to order. You must stand in line for a cashier up front who takes your order and gives you you ticket. But wait, you don't pay yet in case there is something else that you want while dining. After dining, you settle up with your server. The southern food was really good. I ordered Country fried steak fingers and my wife had the gulf shrimp. The shrimp had that classic gulf flavor and the hush puppies tasted almost like Thanksgiving stuffing. So, good! For an appetizer, we had a big basket of onion bits. The onion bits were like onion rings but chunks of onion instead. In addition, the menu has lot's of other great southern dishes to choose from. Great food, great ambiance and good service. Yep, I'd go back!

Fun atmosphere. You can order when you walk in or sit and the waitress ( who we didn't know we had one .. it was 2pm and slow I guess she didn't think k we needed service) so we walked to the front to order. Got Queso ( chips stale) and fried pickles.. yummy , for appetizers. We got a burger and salad. House salad was decent but cost the same once you ad 4pm of chicken. One burger was decent the other burned and we didn't eat. I feel it was average food and service and not worth the $40 price

UPDATE: This place has really taken it up a notch or two since I was here last. The food is tasty, the atmosphere is laid back and the service is excellent. Tegan and Alex were friendly, prompt and took very good care of us. If you didn't have a good experience when they first opened like I did, consider giving them a second chance and check them out. I realize this location hasn't been open long and they are still working to find their "groove", so I'm not going to focus on the long wait for food, the wrong orders brought to our table or the distracted service. I'm sure that's just growing pains. However, if I order a Cajun burger, I expect it to taste CAJUN! My burger had NO flavor and first came without any slaw . They did fix that, but the slaw was tasteless as well. The fried pickles are good. Mozzarella sticks were hollow. My friend's shrimp in her tacos still had their tails on. She had to dig through all the sauce and toppings and pull them off. Mess. Overall disappointing. I really wanted to like this place.

Meh, food isn't that good. Got a baked potato with chicken and it didn't have any flavor (at all) and the po boy that should be po boy prices doesn't exist. Overpriced not even mediocre food. I wanted to like the place, it's a pretty cool environment and pretty busy.

Been here a couple of times now and have had great experiences. It's a casual restaurant with good food and great prices. All the staff were friendly and helpful. You will definitely get more food than you can eat!

Ok I decided to give this place another chance and I'm sad to say it still is not deserving of more then a 2 star. The food was not at all cooked right and warm at best when received. Service was was the only bright spot and it was ok even though there weren't may folks there. Cleaning up while I'm eating isn't something I enjoy watching either. It was well lit if that is a credit to mention. Just felt kinda out of place in there. Sorry but it's no more for this guy. otc

Willi's Cheeseburger and Chicken Fried Chicken were our entree choices tonight. Both were very tasty and would recommend both. The side salad as a side option was decent sized and greens were very fresh. Mashed potatoes were favorable and weren't drowned in gravy. The does that came with the burger were nicely cooked and hot when served. Side order of onion rings were also delish especially dipped in ranch dressing. For dessert we tried peach cobbler which was served hot with ice cream. This is prepared in house and also recommended.

Amazing service and a great atmosphere! Dani was amazing and very welcoming ! I mentioned the brisket and mac balls and she was adamant that they were amazing! NO LIE THERE! Everything was great. ABSOLUTELY MY FAVORITE Restaurant! Manager was very attentive as well! Overall 20/10 experience. Haven't had this kind of service in a long time

After asking my spouse what she wanted to eat, I could not find listed anywhere a restaurant called , "Something Good", so we came to Willy's instead. We ordered the macaroni/brisket bites, the chicken bites and I ordered the blackened shrimp tacos. The macaroni balls were described and the best! The chicken bites were plentiful and filling. The shrimp Tacos come with two, but I ordered a third thinking they would be street taco size. I was wrong, these were full size tacos loaded with delicious "Prawns" not shrimp. So I ate two and picked the prawns out of the third one. The prawns could have used some more blackend spices but they were cooked perfectly and tasted delicious! The only issue were the two sides. The seasoned rice was overcooked and tasted awful. The Mexican street corn was pretty bland. The service is always great here! Our server was the best!

Came in with my family not expecting much. When we first came in, we weren't greeted and we sat ourselves down at a table. I went to look for menus to see what we would order and thought I had to order through the front like it was a cafe. This gave me a bad impression already of the restaurant since we weren't even seated anywhere specific. We only had one menu until our server came to us and told us there were more menus in the front that we could get ourselves. That already gave me another bad impression of the place and we were already about to leave. Then the server came again to us to tell us that another server was actually going to take our order. I was so glad that the new server was actually so nice. She gave us more menus, brought our drinks, and food. I am so glad we did not leave because the food was great. The cheeseburger was delicious. The chicken tenders were delicious with the Willy Nachos. The waffle sweet potato fries were crispy and paired great with ranch. The wings were fully seasoned and tasted great plain. The Caeser side salad was fresh and had a lot of dressing. I loved that the music wasn't too loud in the restaurant and had great decoration. There was a lot of different seating options and had a great selection of desserts that I did not have space for. Overall, great food but the service can be a hit or miss. I hope in the future this restaurant can be a bit more organized so that everyone who comes in feels welcomed, be seated, and have excellent service.

I think we came here on the wrong night lol the line was out the door because there was a softball fundraiser today. We still waited and got in and out in decent time but I took a star away for that reason. I only give five stars if I feel the food and dining experience is exceptional. The ambiance was pretty neat, they have awesome art and neon signs! We started with the brisket Mac and cheese balls and they were pretty good! I got the brisket loaded baked potato and it was really tasty! My friend for the salad and said it was really good and my other buddy got the chicken tenders who said they were good. My husband got the chicken tendy tacos and he thought they were delicious and tacoy.we will definitely be back to try something different! The service was nice and we had an enjoyable time!

The only reason why I'm giving two stars is Because the onion rings were amazingly good! To me if not the best top 3 best onion rings I've ever tasted!! Everything else was not good! The service was good! Our server was on point! The food was not good! Going to list the food we ordered Fried mushrooms: we're good. Onion rings: super good Texas fried chicken club: did not like it! Way way too much mayo!! I couldn't finish it!! The shrimp boil: was not bad but the flavoring was a little too soft! Like it need more of the flavor it had! The flavor was good but not enough The bacon Willie: was ok! My daughter said the baconator is better The macaroni and cheese: was really dry! No one on the table liked it! The flavor was not there!! The chicken fried steak was raw in the middle!! My friend was enjoying it and then he got to the middle and got grossed out because of the raw meat! Chicken fried steak should be fully cooked all the way per my friend that's a chef . The Willie wonka : looked amazing- it just looked amazing! The brownie was too hard! The flavor was there! It was good! But the brownie was way too hard! I saw a lot of people so I thought it would be good! The whole party was disappointed: no one liked their food! We were 17 people!! The onion rings were amazing!! I would go back to get the onion rings by them self's ! Maybe the cook had an off day idk but I was really disappointed!

Servers were nice and knowledgeable of what they had and didn't have. It was towards the end of the day so they didn't have certain things. Now first off I would not recommend the Nashville hot wings, the flavor was just not there. But now the honey garlic wings, woo wee now those were full of flavor and good. Everyone loved what they had. If your into shrimp cocktails just know that they cut up the shrimp. It's not the tiny ones in it.

Great place! 3$ beers on Thursdays. Awesome frozen drinks. Build your own buckets 6 for 5. Love their wing flavors. Quick service!

I am not sure why it took me so long to check out Willie's Ice House - what was I am waiting for?? I was craving a burger and onion, rings and willies knocked it out of the park. Warm toasted bun, scrumptious, burger, and big, huge crispy onion rings... Yum... Yum! The burger had great flavor, my only complaint would be I would have loved it to have been cooked, medium, rare, rather than the well done, but I was not given the choice, apparently old burgers are cooked to this temperature Unique concept, you order at the counter, and then go find your table... A staff member will bring your food to you and help with drink refills. You pay for your order with the server. Overall, I enjoyed it and will be coming back again. My dining companion also enjoyed her salad and said her and her husband would be coming back very soon. They live too close not to come and dine on a regular basis. If you have not check this place out, you need to very soon. I cannot wait for warmer weather so they can open up the garage door type windows and have a very comfortable and enjoyable outdoor eating environment.

Food was great. Love the shrimp tacos The service was not good. Server never got to use before the food did and then never returned with what we asked for. Ambiance was okay. Love sitting outside.

First time at Willie's Ice House in Georgetown (or anywhere)! I was joined by my daughter and two young grandchildren. We got a little distracted while ordering and ended up needing to change our order after the fact. Staff was super gracious about it, no issue whatsoever. The food was tasty, service was great, and we will definitely go back. The absolute highlight was when my granddaughter showed typical 7 year old excitement about the Willy-Wonka ice cream desert, which we of course ordered. When it came time to pay the bill, the server said the desert was on him because he loved her enthusiasm. Giving my granddaughter such a positive memory sold me! We've all been posting on facebook about it, and telling family and friends, and you can bet your sweet Willy Wonka, we will go back there again.

Went for lunch today. We have a new Willie's opening in our home town and wanted to give this location a try knowing that the new location will be packed for a few months. The quantity of food was very large. I thought the taste could have been better. Everything was good and was probably more like a 4.5. The service was very efficient. The order moved quickly and the food service was much quicker than i expected. The restaurant is very clean and well appointed.

This is a great place to watch sports and to get something to eat. The menu is varied and the service is always good.

Willie's is great!!! The Hamburger, Fish Tacos, and Onion Ring were great!!! I am not a big fan of the service model. You order at the counter sit down with a number and a waitress bring out your food and does a sudo full service. Our waitress was very nice. The ambiance is very and busy. Definitely work a stop!!!

The staff was great, the atmosphere is relaxing, the service was good. Why 2 stars for a potential 4-5 star review? Glad you asked. Mrs. Texas and I both ordered the Grilled Gulf Shrimp. It was way over done. It was good, but could've been better if it wasn't way over cooked and burnt. Very disappointed. The kitchen manager shouldn't even allow this to be sent out and served to customers.

I ordered the Willie's Icehouse Chicken sandwich. It did not have the sautéed mushrooms on it. This is the second time it has happened. The menu says it has sautéed mushrooms.

Greave food, big portions for such a low price. The service was different but worked perfectly. The music was the perfect volume to enjoy our conversations but also be able to add to the ambiance

The customer service is extraordinary. We came in after a volleyball game and the Astros were playing. Due to the kitchen being behind they offered us sample size margaritas for our wait. Once we ordered and found a table our waiter was prompt, attentive, and very courteous. All of the meals were hot and delicious. As always the restaurant is clean (including bathrooms) and service outstanding. I've been coming here since they opened in Georgetown and I've never been disappointed. I also love the menu selection and the prices are reasonable. Please check this place out if you're in the area or even if you're not and want some good food and good vibes!!

I don't even want to give them one star the food I got was cold, old, and burnt. I would never recommend this place to anyone nor will I return they didn't give me my drink.

Pros: awesome staff, great turkey burger, well-seasoned fries. Cons: friend wanted chicken fried steak, which is on the menu AND the billboard on top of restaurant and was told they don't serve it at this location. I wanted baked potato soup and was told the same. Weird.

Great location, good atmosphere, good food. Ordering ca. be tricky, until you have been there before. Service has been hit or miss and not a lot of clean food options, especially for anyone with food allergies. Fairly priced, nice outdoor seating and good for game watching and hanging with friends. Would be a 5 if they had good allergy menus. If you don't have allergies, want to watch a game and eat good comfort food, it's a home run!

For those in Texas this comparison you'll understand: Willie's is a cross between a good diner and Rudy's BBQ. Or for others elsewhere, a sort of campy Roadhouse/Chili's. You enter and wait for a one-stop order spot alongside a long ice chest full of sodas and beers. At the counter, you'll see ginormous frozen drink machines. And it is here I find my biggest lure. The frozen Jack and Coke is WONDERFUL in the hot Texas summer! "Whiskey River Take My Mind!" The menu is vast and varied. I have sampled much of the app menu and all are good, especially the fried mushrooms. I enjoyed the CFS and am looking forward to getting down on one of their salads (I hope it is cold) this summer. I would not advise the fish, though, as what I received was tough and overcooked. SERVICE is very good even when busy. And they are VERY busy on Fridays and weekends. You order at the entrance and your server comes to take care of you at your table. I even posted a photo with one of my servers I enjoyed the visit so much! LOL

Party of 7, first time dining in. Walk in, order, get your drink, find an open table/seat, server greets you at the table and brings your food out. The kitchen did have to hold orders in order to catch up on orders. It was only about 10 minutes so no big deal. Our server brought our chips and queso to munch on in the meantime. She was super friendly and accommodating. I had the cheeseburger with tater tots. It was delicious. Anywho, we will be back for sure :)

Mariana was an awesome addition to our dinning out experience! She had a smile and an enthusiastic attitude the whole time when serving us. We don't get out much, so this really was a treat having her as our server. The food was exceptional and quick as well! We will be coming back. :)

I've reviewed this location before but wanted to drop in an update. It's always kinda odd because there's 100% always a line when arriving here (we do always come on more popular times, so that could be a reason) but it never really matters because the management has this operation running very well on the back-end. The place isn't massive but the ability to get people in and out happily is incredible. Once you wait in the short line and order, there's always a table ready to sit at, you're helped immediately and efficiently. This time we were waited on by Nicole, she was a very hard worker, even though our table was a little higher maintenance because of two little ones, she didn't hesitate to take great care of us with a big smile. It's people like her, and whoever is managing this location, that make this a go-to for us when we want something tasty, fast (but not too fast) and friendly. Great work as always, Team!

Best fried catfish anywhere ! Baked potatoes are excellent! When in season , crawfish are excellent! Burgers good ! Their salads are above avg ! A must order for us are the appetizer fried mushrooms . Incredible! Always friendly service and if you have a problem they fix it immediately! They will change tv to what you want to watch ! They have some beers on tap and a few mixed beverages ! Enjoy !

Solid dinning experience with attentive service and good food. The menu offers something for everyone from salads and veggies to po boys and burgers. They also offer a variety of adult beverages from beer & wine to Jack and coke. The reason for 4 not 5 Stars is solely based on how they served their non-alcohol drinks. They put ice in the drink cups and place them near the counter where you order your meals. Everyone walks by them and/or takes their cup from this open area, no regard is given to basic hygiene which is problematic regardless of how you feel about are current situation. They staff was friendly and helpful, they rices are solid and the food was good with more attention to cleanliness than his would be 5 stars hands down.

Love this place! Good food, atmosphere and waitstaff... one of the best places in Georgetown Texas. Give it a try you'll be glad you did. Not a lot of options here.

I walked in and was immediately greeted with a smile! Ordering from the front was new for me but the counter was extremely informative and patient. I ordered the grilled chicken cob salad and the portion was huge! The greens were fresh and the chicken was cooked perfectly. Willie's will be a staple in my restaurant rotation!

Willies is so awesome for take out. Everything is fresh and warm when you get home. I love their Bacon Burger with Jalapeño and grilled onions. The onion ring are made to order none of that frozen stuff. The baked potato is very big and tasty. The make it just the way you want it. Love me some Willies

We love the atmosphere at Willie's. Lacy always provides great service! We have tried pretty much everything on the menu. There $4 "small" margarita is amazing! Onion bites and fried Pickles are our favorite appetizer. We enjoy the blackened salmon, blackened shrimp and turkey mushroom burger on a lettuce bun. The grilled veggies are amazing!

Thor fried catfish is prefect, chicken tenders and fries are bomb. If you are hungry... get their chicken fried steak, you're welcome in advance . Their margaritas hit the spot!!!

I've ordered dinner & an alcoholic drink at least 4 times in a year. The alcoholic drink never arrives & 1/2 the time, the food order is completely wrong or partially wrong. This time they are refusing to refund my meal and drink that I never received. Horrible customer service & management, since I've reported it multiple times, yet the EXACT same issue is still happening, only now this time they are charging me for it. $42 for absolutely nothing. I am also now reporting them to the Better Business Bureau.

Absolutely delicious buffalo wings! I love this place has a great selection of drinks and food, and can watch the game in good areas! Service has always been great!

Service was great! I ordered the house salad with ranch that was very fresh and crisp. The hush puppies were perfectly fried and crispy with a nice cornbread flavor. The side of vegetables were carrots, zucchini, squash, and broccoli. All of the vegetables were cooked well and delicious in butter! My husband ordered the fried shrimp and they are some of the best he has had (Pappadaux being a close 2nd), the tarter sauce was very good as well.

When someone is of age of buying alcohol and can prove they are. Will not ever come back here ever again. Was not a happy customer or satisfied with anything here.

Such a great night visiting this location for the first time! We love the one in pville and wanted to checkout the georgetown location! Hannah our server really took care of us and gave us a great night! slay hannah!
