The food was really good, and the Willie Wonka dessert was absolutely delicious! The mac and cheese brisket bites were tasty, but a little inconsistent with how much brisket was in each one. The food came out quickly, and the place has a really lively and fun atmosphere. Overall, a great experience!

We had a great time at Willies! We tried the classic Willie burger and the Gouda burger — both were juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. The margaritas were refreshing and well-balanced, and we finished off with the warm cake and ice cream, which was absolutely delicious. The service was excellent — friendly, attentive, and quick. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Overall, a really enjoyable experience. Just shy of a perfect five stars, but we’ll definitely be coming back!

We ordered the Cajun Fried Turkey Thanksgiving meal and it was very good. Instructions for reheating all the items were very clear and the food tasted great!! The cost was a little more then I thought it would be worth but for the ease with our busy schedule.with our teen sons band schedule and ournwork.schedule it was worth the cost. Everyone enjoyed the meal and it was easy to prepare and tasted very good. So we decided to get the ham meal for Christmas. The entire hamealmeal was so salty that we could hardley eat the meal. I literally ate stuffing, mash potatoes without gravy and the cranberry sauce. The ham was so salty, the mash potatoes and gravy were both very salty. The greenbeans were tough. The cornbread stuffing was good as well as the cranberry sauce. I was so disappointed with the Christmas meal. I am not sure how the same items that we got with Thanksgiving were so good and the same items were so horrible in the Christmas meal the only difference between the two meals was we got Turkey for Thanksgiving and Ham for Christmas but two very different tastes. The $170 we spent on Christmas dinner was a total waste of money.

Great place to eat, whether it's a small meal or large. Our server David was incredible and kept checking on us throughout our meal, and he always catches drinks to refill. Would definitely recommend, always ask for David!

The wife place an order to go and accidentally put the wrong location. When I went to pick it up at the location closest to us, Mia informed me that there was no order under our name. I check and found it had been ordered at another location. Mia said no big deal that they could have it fixed in a few minutes. NICE Huh!! While we were waiting , Mia brought a Pup cup for my puppy . Where else does one go on a beautiful Houston day for a quick and affordable lunch on the patio? Well, Willie's of course. I had the blackened chicken with rice and grilled veggies. It was the perfect amount of food and very tasty.

If you look at my recommendations, you'll see that I'm a frequent flier at Willie's Grill & Ice House. It's the favorite place of my 95 year old dad. This visit he had the fried shrimp and I had the Willie with cheese. The food, as always, was excellent and the restaurant was clean and tidy. I typically judge a place on how clean their floors are and willies is alway excellent. Our server was a new server for us, one we'd never seen before. She provided excellent service, but was rather shy. I'm sure working at willies will help her come out of her shell. I would have liked to see her a bit more confident.

Thursday, July 17 - First off, we would like to Thank Willie's for allowing us to host our Family Reunion's Meet and Greet (Bellenger- Porter) at the Pearland location. Cliff, Julian, and Alex was very accommodating to our Family! We had a great time and the food was Delicious. The drinks were on point also. The restaurant is nice and clean, including the bathroom. The music was good. If ever in the area, we will definitely make a visit here again! Thank you so much!

We absouletley love the Willie's location in cooperfield we come here almost every week. David here at the copperfield location always takes care of us and does such an amazing job making sure we are taken care of. If I could give more than 5-stars for this location and David I Would in a heartbeat.

I will definitely be back! A coworker suggested going to Willie's for a quick drink and food after work. It was a long day and I was exhausted, completely unable to make decisions. The person at the register was patient and kind, telling me how everything worked and making suggestions, including highlighting the specials. While I sat with my drink and waited for others to join me, my server Christian made me feel comfortable by bringing water and checking on me regularly. My burger was good and so were the drinks! The space was lively and chill, perfect place to meet in small groups or catch up with a friend. I can't wait to go back!

Willie's is always a safe, dependable, and usually one everyone can find something that they like. Last Sunday we were really hungry, but wanted to stay nearby and eat on the cheap. The staff was great, food was exactly as expected, and I consider it successful. He ordered a burger with tots and I had chips with queso and salsa. I stole several of his tots to dip into my queso. They were hot and delicious. The business itself seems to run well and the manager stopped by to check on us. I sure wish I remembered the name of our server because she was fantastic. I'm not sure we accomplished the "cheap", but hey, 2 out of 3 isn't bad. Since this is one that checks most of the boxes, we keep Willie's Copperfield and Katy on our go-to list.

Too bad fake cooks don't match the service! Wait staff is doing their part but sadly the kitchen is ran by a bunch of so called cooks that don't know what the hell they are doing. Paste for gravy but you get added chunks of lumps, then the potatoes are even thicker sorta like stucco. Margarita was good but it was good because the fake cooks didn't have a role. Today quality was poor! Update: Chris the manager stopped and saw the issues with meal. He was sincere and took time to listen. That I greatly appreciated. Good bless all servers, I know they didn't cook this mess. If I come back I'll stick to queso and margaritas! Chris thank you! .

THIS SHIP WAS SINKING!!! For many people that know me well, they know that I am a big fan of Willie's Grill and Icehouse. I'm here once a week while on my summer vacation from being a school teacher, which is a stressful and demanding job. I find Willie's to be a relaxing scene, but also a fun and vibrant scene where you can let your hair down, kick back, and unwind. They serve delicious All American Texas style burgers, chicken sandwiches, seafood, Margaritas, and a series of ice cold brews at an affordable price. Not to mention, they're a family/friendly oriented company. However, as of late they have been making a lot of fumbles in the kitchen. Recently, during one particular visit, my husband and I ordered a large fried catfish plate with a salad, a chicken fried steak dinner with fried onion rings and Texas toast, and chips and queso with salsa as our starter. All of the fried food tasted like it had been fried in old grease. My salad consisted of withered and discolored lettuce leaves and cucumbers. The coleslaw that comes with the fried catfish was spoiled. It smelled disgusting! The tortilla chips had a weird flavor as well, as if they too had been fried in old grease. It was awful! What a distasteful act it is to serve a paying customer out-dated lettuce, spoiled coleslaw, and fried food that's been cooked in old grease! It left the weirdest taste in our mouths. We complained to management, which didn't help at all. She only removed my husband's fried onion rings from the bill and apologized for the poor quality of food. What was her purpose for doing that when all of the food was horrible? She didn't even assure us that she would go check with the Kitchen staff to see if they were in fact frying the food repeatedly in the old grease without switching to fresh grease. My husband and I did not want for her to give us our food for free. Instead, we wanted to be assured that she would rectify the situation by checking on the kitchen staff to see if they are doing their jobs properly. This was not the first fumble this establishment had made. This was about the third or fourth mess up on their part. I began to grow tired of giving them chance after chance to get it right. Furthermore, I know you're probably wondering why I gave this establishment a five star rating when all I'm doing is complaining about the poor quality of food and service that my husband and I had been receiving repeatedly. Well, after our visit, I logged into the Willie's points and rewards app on my phone to scan my ticket so that I could receive my points. After I finished redeeming my points, it then asked me to rate my visit and to also leave a review. I gave them a two star rating and an honest review of the poor service and quality of food presented to me and my husband. After posting the review and my rating in the app, the district manager emailed me about an hour later. In the email he was addressing the negative comments that I wrote and was letting me know that I was right. He said as soon as he read my comment, he headed to the location that I had just visited, and he checked in with the kitchen staff to find that they were frying the food repeatedly in the same grease without changing it out. He apologized for their incompetence and offered me and my husband a substantial amount of store credit for our troubles. Now talk about wanting to make things right for your paying customers! I was shocked, flabbergasted, and grateful all at once! This type of service does not exist anymore, well at least I have not witnessed it in years. In conclusion, I am sticking with my five star rating because it is extremely rare to find establishments with District managers that truly care about satisfying their customers and giving them their money's worth! I can honestly say that the food is always served hot if not fresh! I almost made a decision to give up on them but quickly changed my mind when the District manager reached out to me and fixed the issues. Ever since, I have not had any more issues, but I can only compensate for the early shift which is between the hours of 11:00 am and noon time. If you visit after those hours, things may not be so fresh! I don't know because I don't visit during later hours. There are way too many issues going on, especially around evening hours like 6:00 pm. I highly recommend everyone to give them a try but at your own risk. What do you have to lose? The food is inexpensive comfort food and the ambiance is very lively and colorful with country tunes and a mixture of the best of the 80's and 90's tunes spewing out of loudspeakers, but not tone-deafeningly loud. It's a great place to bring the family and your friends. If you're a Carrie Underwood fan like me, then you'll love the music. Shout out to my favorite server AnnaLisa!!!

We had a wonderful time! Our food was great and the server, Christian, was outstanding! We love the fried catfish and sweet potato fries! We brought our dog with us and Christian was so sweet with him and brought him some cool water.

My visit started off with talking with Abby who helped me with menu item details. She was most courteous and helpful! Then Andreas took it from there with a helpful chat about my order. He did a fine job! The food was excellent!

Haven't been to Willie's in years and years and years - since it moved over here in the Copperfield area. Stopped in for a quick lunch. I ordered the cheese Willie burger, which was so good. You know I'm on the quest for a good hamburger. And it did not disappoint - the bun was so soft and it was a lot of mustard, which I really like. The flavor was delicious and I got it with onion rings. The onion rings are so good. They had a real good batter on them. My husband got the shrimp and chicken gumbo. He got a small and it was a lot. He said lots of shrimp and lots of chicken. It has a really good flavor. Added a little Tabasco sauce. And then of course we had chips and salsa to start. Not too spicy. Our waitress Niacole was so sweet and so attentive All staff were so nice. Really good experience. Definitely will be coming back over here. Burgers are great.

Snow crab was amazing, super flavorful. Food was nicely seasoned, prepared, and delivered. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was quite inviting and thematic to its roots, which made everything much friendlier! To top it off, our waiter Santangelo G. was super friendly, and made sure to check up on us, while also just being inviting in general. Great place, HIGHLY recommend!!

Decided to treat ourselves for the first time in months by eating out and just picked up an order so there was no delay getting to my house. I could hardly chew the steak! Asked for medium rare and it was so tough I ended up not even eating it. The street corn? Oh you mean some plain, no seasoned corn with a tiny dollop of cheese melted into a glob on top. Sigh, in this economy? Can't afford to waste time, money or food. #dobetter

I was craving some fried fish so I decided to stop by on my lunch break. The food came out quickly & piping hot! The fish was good, the mozzarella sticks were nice and gooey. They were pretty busy as I walked in but died down a bit during my meal. The booths are comfortable & the place is nice & cool. My server, Alexia, was super friendly and checked up on my a few times during my stay. Overall, great experience.

To be honest, Willie's is normally acceptable. We have dined at their various locations often. But we have noticed a trend recently that is troubling. Their cleanliness has slipped. Wait staff is also difficult. Our latest two visits to different locations, Cypress and Highway 6 have both had issues with dirty table tops. At the Cypress location granted it was lunch time. But at the Highway 6 location it was late afternoon and they were not busy. At both locations food and trash were evident on the floor. At the Cypress location, our table was greasy and smeared with something. We attempted to wipe up the mess when we were seated. Our server brought back a damp rag and wiped it up. Problem solved. Unfortunately, at Highway 6 we had the same situation. The stainless steel table top was sticky and you could clearly see it. Again, we tried to wipe the table top of with a paper towel. That did not work. Our server, Kyrsten noticed the paper towel stuck to the table top and we asked that "someone" help us with it. Kyrsten failed to try to fix it. No one came with a damp cloth or otherwise offer assistance. Three more times Krysten ignored the situation. Eventually she just took the stuck paper towel off and never came back. Problem remained. Certainly we didn't expect Kyrsten to clean our table but this lack of cleanliness and a failure to act on it when it is mentioned by the customer and continue to ignore it is a disappointment. Willie's Grill and Icehouse can do better. We hope they will better train their staff in sanitation hospitality. Their food is not out of the ordinary and is pretty standard. Not sure if their food or atmosphere is worth going back. Plenty of other chain restaurants close by.

I ordered their Baja Shrimp Tacos that comes with 2 tacos & 2 sides. For my sides I got their street corn & upgraded to the sweet potato fries. The tacos & fries were good & filled me up. The street corn didn't have all of the toppings and seasoning that I'm used to so I would order something different next time. The service was really nice. We enjoyed our meal out on their patio. Something that was news to me was that you place your order at the cashier and then pay your waiter before you leave.

First time here with the family. You order at the counter before you sit down . I haven't gotten use to this type of ordering style and it makes me feel sort of a panic because this was my first time here. Our server was very nice and helpful . There was 6 of us and he did an amazing job making sure that we were doing well . Food was good but the best part of the bread pudding . The bread pudding was amazing and it definitely hit the spot . I think I would come here just For bread pudding . It was so good . Restaurant was clean however it does get loud with everyone taking around you . So it can make it hard to have a conversation. Other than that, we had a really nice Dinner.

=COVID-19 REVIEW= Willie's is one of those places you go to when you're looking for a casual environment to hang out with friends where you can grab a cold beer or two along with some decent food. The Willie's that I usually frequent is the one off of 290 and Jones, but I was working in this area and this was closer so we stopped by. If you've never been to a Willie's before, then you should know that this is a counter order with table service. What does that mean? You place your order at the counter and then you grab a seat where your server is going to confirm the order and place it for you. During this visit, I had asked the cashier about the philly cheesesteak and proceeded to order it. After we had taken a seat, our server, Nicole, asked me what kind of cheese I wanted and gave me the options of cheeses that they had - I went with cheddar. At this point, I had thought that it was kind of weird that she would ask me about the type of cheese I wanted on a philly cheesesteak. However, I didn't think anything of it because (1) it was my first time ordering a philly cheesesteak at Willie's and (2) maybe it was just how it was at this establishment. When she brought out the order, however, she brought me a cheeseburger. Not it made sense! I told her I actually ordered a philly cheesesteak. She was surprised at the fact and showed me that on the little piece of paper from the cashier, he had put down a cheeseburger. She was very apologetic about it and offered to bring out a cheesesteak for me. I refused it because I felt like they'd just throw out the cheeseburger and that'd be a waste of food. And plus, Nicole genuinely looked like she felt really bad about the whole ordeal and I didn't want to make a big deal about it since it wasn't really her fault anyway - she only ordered what was on that little piece of paper. And it's not like I don't like cheeseburgers, so why not? As a group, we had also ordered the Sample Platter which comes with some onion rings, fried pickles, fried mushrooms, and fried jalapenos. It's a huge sample platter that was still too much for three super hungry grown men so order this only if you're really hungry or if you don't mind eating leftover. Otherwise, it's doubtful that you can finish it. The samplers are all pretty good (I didn't try the jalapenos because I personally don't care for them) but since they're all fried food, I was only able to eat so much before I felt bleh. Plus, I also had the fries that came with my cheeseburger. Anyway, don't expect super great food over here. But you can a pretty good service (double check the order paper before you give it to your server though), and decent food that comes in huge portions, and reasonable prices. I definitely wouldn't mind coming back here in the future. P.S. All the staff working that day was wearing a face mask in adherence to Covid protocol and they had marked tables that were available and closed for social distancing purposes. P.P.S. Long day.. First day back to school... Plan B, go to Willies instead of dinner at home. It was a good Idea! Had the new Smoked Gouda Burger. Pretty good, could have used a little more lettuce and bbq sauce, but it hit the spot. Needed a change from the boneless buffalo bites I always get, so it was a win. First time to get the onion bites. I love Willies onion rings with thin crispy batter and plump onions. The bites were even better, because they were more sharable, and easier to munch on. Win. Our server was nice and helpful, and the manager checked on diners throughout the evening. It was pretty busy, not many free tables... they are a crowd pleaser, with affordable, tasty frozen drinks.
