Willie's Joint BAR and GRILL

I had a wonderful time here. I went on a Friday and they had karaoke going on. It started at 8p. It was kid friendly! I had some tacos from a food truck. They also had crawfish going in another area.

The best place to spend time outside. They have water fans in the summer which makes it possible to be outside, shade from the oaks and fire places in the winter. Just magical and great for kids, there’s a playground, coffee, food.

Food was good. I git steak fingers and a few IPA's. Drinks are pricey for a small town bar. About $10 plus tip for a 10oz draft beer. My biggest complaint is the bartenders. They were not happy at all to serve my friends & I. We came sunday night. We were just a quiet group and we all tipped well. Still, they treated us poorly. I hate to complain as someone who works in the service industry, but if these ladies don't want to bartend, they might consider another profession.

Riding back from Bastrop TX and stopped in here for some hangover relief. Good beer and even better chicken tenders! Definitely worth your time!

Great food! It's been since covid that I've actually tasted for this good!! The pictures I posted are the Ribeye tacos with queso and chips. The other pic is the chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and street corn. Both were very delicious!!

We always go during crawfish season. It's the best we've ever had and it made by the Eastside Boilers who compete and have won many awards for their crawfish. They even host a crawfish competition. Drinks are always good and beer is cold! It's a great atmosphere for friends to hang out or for families to enjoy their time together.

I want to give a shout out to a place I visited for the first time yesterday. Willie’s Joint Bar and Grill. It’s an outdoor restaurant experience with lots of shade, a quaint and inviting atmosphere, and great staff. They even had a stage for live performances. I glanced their menu to find something to eat and decided on their Jalapeño Double Cheeseburger with Swiss cheese. OMGourd 🤤 Guys…. This burger was excellent. I will definitely go back to visit this place for another shot at that burger. Literally, every few minutes when I would stop my sketching to take a bite, I was in heaven. From my lips came more than once, “This burger…” and did my best to contain myself and enjoy the flavors. Definitely a good visit if you enjoy a nice outdoor dining experience. You may not get the same enjoyment from the Jalapeño Double Cheeseburger that I did. It is so worth it though. I also made two sketches of staff members while there that go by the names Will and Skyler. Friendly and pleasant customer service. Visit Willie’s Joint Bar and Grill, if you get the chance.

Quite the place tucked right off IH35 in Buda. We had a blast here there was a crawfish boil and a few additional food trucks in the back of the grounds (although one was closed, it was a Sunday). There was a ton of seating area including both covered and uncovered with fire pits dropped around the grounds as well. Would highly recommend this place! 9.5/10
