The Food World Reacts to Noma Closing | Bon Appétit
"Social media has also given restaurant employees the means to call out poor working conditions at highly sought-after and expensive fine dining restaurants, like the Willows Inn, a now-shuttered restaurant in Washington formerly run by Noma-trained chef Blaine Wetzel." - ByAli Francis
I've been going to this restaurant since I was in my mother's womb. The Willow Inn has always been a tradition in my family to go to eat. I was there almost 6 months ago and unaware they did this remodeling inside. It looks great! But I was so sad to see the menu options changed and were limited. I'm happy they kept the chicken parmagina! That's a dish that's always been top notch! A classic! I was happy last night I was able to get some to celebrate in memory of my father. He loved this restaurant too. My fiancé get the new york strip sirlon with shrimp and his two sides. Very delicious! The margarita was perfect! I love the tajín seasoning on the rim!The wait staff are always friendly as I've seen for years!
I will add that Willow Inn should definitely bring back the infamous Chicken Romano soup. That was one of best comforting delicious soup I've always enjoyed when they had the old owner. BRING BACK CHICKEN ROMANO!

Stay tuned for the next industry night.... once monthly Monday event catering to the service industry professionals in the area....great opportunity to network and have a bit of social life amongst your fellow local food and bev slingers although all are welcome. The event organizers and the owner very warm and welcoming from the moment you enter. Professional courtesy hasn't died here... great vibe and music.

Food is scrumptious and the staff very accommodating. My friends were running late but that was not an issue. I was sat and looked after to make sure my needs were met. I throughly enjoyed the options for both food and drink. This was not my first visit nor will it be my last.

Very good food. Totally enjoyed my time there. Much better and professional bartenders and waitresses. Friendly patrons. Lots of wide screen TV to catch the game. Now willow grove has somewhere to go for a banquet or private affair. Clean and nicely updated.
Really enjoyed my visit. Will be going again regularly.

Have been here many times but this is my first review. I know the owner and staff and Love This Place. The Food is very good, consistent and very fairly priced. The atmosphere is casual and quiet during the day and there are themed entertaining events different days of the week... Karaoke, Quito, etc. Great place... Visit soon!!

The food was excellent for starters .
what to expect when hitting the door. The decor is up to date and the patrons are mostly locals. The exterior shows just how long ago this landmark was erected , its clean but rustic .
Bartenders are very pleasant and responsive to service.
Bathrooms are clean and stocked.
Kitchen from what I could see from passing by to the bar area was clean and organized.
And the music selection for a night out could either be Karaoke which is a blast or jukebox which is all internet driven.
