I visited this boutique today, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. There were two staff members present, one of whom may have even been the owner. Despite walking through the entire store, I was not acknowledged or greeted, which was surprising, especially in a small boutique where customer service is typically a priority.
It felt as though my presence was completely overlooked. I understand that first impressions can be deceiving, but a simple hello, or even a friendly acknowledgment, goes a long way in creating a welcoming atmosphere. Instead, the staff appeared to be more focused on their own conversation, and, at times, seem to be sizing me up, which made the experience uncomfortable.
I had every intention of making a purchase, and the items I was interested in would have totaled over $300. However, the lack of basic courtesy and customer service led me to take my business elsewhere. It’s unfortunate, because small boutiques depend on repeated customers, and an experience like this, makes it hard to justify returning.
I hope this review serves as a reminder that a little attention and kindness towards customers can make a big difference.
Sad to say I’ve had better customer service in a Dollar Tree 🥺
