Every one was so nice and helpful here! It was our first time staying at the Willow. Richard was amazing when we first got there and when we left, I think his name was Matt, he was wearing a Bills jersey that day, was so awesome as well! When we checked in on Friday, everyone was so helpful. Thank you for making mine and my husband's mini vacation a great one. We DEFINITELY will be back! Oh, did I mention, the beds and pillows are like HEAVEN!

Google
Bear is so amazing! He is the best VIP Host ever! When first booking our room for our 1 year wedding anniversary, he made the process super easy and understandable. When we checked in, the hotel staff was extremely nice and Informative. The room was decorated beautifully for our anniversary and we had such a wonderful time at the pool. We definitely plan on going back to stay!

This casino banned me for loitering when I still had money to gamble in my pocket & I was looking for a slot machine to play. I tried telling that to the security officer that was banning me but he was not hearing me. The security officer's at Viejas Casino are the ABSOLUTE worst they are under some type of reward's system for each person they ban or something like that I am convinced. I consider myself a person that is very composed & level headed & reasonable I am definitely NOT a trouble maker & I have NEVER been kicked out or banned from any business or store.

Google
Slow & delayed check in, should have been 4pm we got into our room at 6:15pm. Not even a free spin on a slot machine in compensation for the wait.

This place is by far the top notch places I ever stayed at. Ever. From the orient to Boston to Florida. The suites at this place are spotless. The amount of care and cleanliness and all that goes with a suite. You can’t beat it. It’s also very tranquil location and QUIET. From what I understand it does get busy during the summer months and special times of year but when we went it was amazing. Also if you like Asian foods there is an amazing noodle shop open till 1am. Amazing.

Google
Horrible stay! The main restaurant was closed during our stay to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. Pool service, restaurant, and bar all closed in the middle of summer time. The staff and security were not kind to my 23 year old and 21 year old daughters because they looked young. And to top it off I’m up at 4:30am writing a review because some sort of jack hammer is going off in the valet area below our room. I hate writing reviews but waking me up reached the limit :(

I came a couple years ago and it great! It really fell off though! My husband and I got massages and body treatments and both of our treatments sucked. Left a 2.5 hour treatment session feeling like I didn’t even get a massage! There was no technique, just someone rubbing lotion on! Amenities also sucked. Jacuzzi in both men and women’s lockers barely warm and bubbles broken! Never again!

Great hotel experience. I got an early check in and the front desk was super nice and accomodating. All staff greets you with a smile and a hello. The rooms are spacious and clean. Beautiful spaces. Love it here ❤️

Yelp
Let's start with this place is awesome sadly the pools are currently getting resurfaced so not a good time to come if you want some pool action . Service is great they treat you like a rock star the quality of the room is epic the gym is clean. 24 hour stop and go food station is super good gives you Las Vegas vibes in California Overall my stay was top notch ..... I can go to any casino or resort I definitely prefer viejas as my top spot here's some picture's if you don't believe me . They also a business center which is great to handle the Biz . Make sure you make a reservation this place fills up .

Yelp
Horrible spa experience and the casino comps have been getting worse I use to like coming here unfortunately it's not a great place to go anymore

Nando R.

Yelp
Very nice resort! Check in was fast! The young lady at the front desk was very nice. Room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. I will definitely be back soon! Only complaint is that the Pool closes too early and it would be nice if there was more seating in the casino lounge area where the band plays. There is very little entertainment at night besides gambling

Yelp
When our room at Viejas wasn't available to us, we were upgraded to a suite at the Willows Hotel and Spa. Upgrade indeed! We dropped the truck with the valet and were off to our room. We walked into a nicely appointed front room. To the right was a very nice marble topped counter and workspace with a nice office chair. It housed the mini fridge and the coffee maker and had a cupboard and dresser drawers built in. In the living area was a couch with a lounger type ottoman. There was a chair and ottoman by the window with a little end table next to the chair and a small coffee table in front. There also was a flat screen TV. The bedroom had two queen beds, two nightstands, a dresser and another flat screen TV. The bathroom featured double sinks, two closets and an epic shower with a traditional shower head and a rainfall showerhead in the center of the ceiling. I'd swear that the shower alone had more square footage than our entire bathroom at home! It even had a little nook with a built-in bench. We were sharing the room with another couple so I called the front desk for some additional bottles of water and more coffee K-cups. In less than 10 minutes there was a knock at the door. A staff member brought in a half dozen bottles of water and an entire unopened bag of about 15 K-cups. Wow! Plenty! The hotel was under some sort of construction or painting. Our view was completely obscured by scaffolding and plastic sheeting, so I cannot describe the view. My employer held our Christmas party at Viejas so we opted to stay the night. The room was $332 for the night (for a regular room, prior to our upgrade). In my estimation that's pretty steep for almost any room, anywhere. That's why we booked a double and split it. Also, they charged a $10 resort fee. Not sure what qualified as a resort amenity. The pool and hot tub were closed for the season. Every service that the spa has to offer carries its own price tag. Perhaps the gym that we did not use cost us the 10 bucks? A nice stay in a nice room and we really appreciated the upgrade, but north of $300 is too pricey for us for a night. Especially at a casino where we're bound to lose even more money. For comparison, one week later we stayed at the Marriott downtown in a room on the 16th floor with views of the bay, the Coronado bridge and into Petco Park, for under $200.

Yelp
Willows spa decided to call me 2 days before my anniversary massages and said "there was a glitch in the system". I had the massages booked a week in advance. Then they told me that they could only give me 20% off and none of the times I requested. What a joke.. they didn't just find out about the glitch. Their manager was not helpful at all. I will no longer be going there.

Yelp
My first time staying here and it's amazing we have a king suite and the living room is perfect with a couch, desk, fridge and coffee maker, the bed is so comfortable with all the pillows, the bathroom has a shower to put 6 people in there, the front desk was amazing soo great I will for sure come again

Yelp
This review is for the spa :) First off how beautiful and esthetic is this whole place. I just love the decor and ambiance of the whole spa and Willows hotel in general. The smell walking in the spa is so inviting as well. Everyone was so friendly from checking in to Luz in the woman's locker room. The amenities were great. The outside pool area was closed due to construction but that's ok because it would of been too cold anyways. I took advantage of the sauna and steam room and throughly enjoyed it. Everything looked very kept and clean. I received a massage/cupping from Kwin and she was amazing! She was so sweet and the massage left me so relaxed! Also a facial from Dez and it phenomenal as well. My face is glowing and moisturized! She seemed very knowledgeable on all the products she used on my skin. 10/10 experience and service! Definitely will be back!

Yelp
This review is for the day spa - Received a spa package for my birthday at Willows spa. Services I got were pedicure, manicure, express facial and 80 min massage. I arrived at 9:30 and didn't leave until 3:30. From my appoints to grabbing a drink at the pool bar, reading my book and laying in the sun, everything was amazing. I didn't realize this day spa was here. With my services I also had access to a sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, pool and relaxing swinging beds. Such a relaxing day. I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
My boyfriend payed about almost 400$ for a couples massage and spa and the masseuse's did a horrible horrible job, she asked if there was a specific spot I needed her to focus more on, I said back. And it's like I told her my feet. The facility was nice but the main point from this trip was the massage and it sucked so bad I've got better massages from a Chinese place then here for 30$ an hour. Will not be booking here again

Nicole C.

Yelp
I highly recommend Rachel for a massage, especially if you have prior injuries or tenderness. She had "magic hands", reading my body well.

Yelp
I was wowed away. Recently had a staycation here and The Willows team and hotel amenities made it very relaxing. Very Clean resort with great food. Very friendly staff.

Yelp
I stayed at willows hotel and spa at viejas back in December and had the best staycation with my fiancé. We loved how modern and luxurious the rooms were and the size was also nice. I love that the hotel provides a washcloth for makeup removal also. We will definitely be back!

Missy F.

Yelp
Despite a pretty bad first impression, I enjoyed my staycation time at the Willows Hotel. I won't go all into detail about what happened upon my check in, but I will say Tori was very professional and made up for their mishaps by placing some retention credits on my Viejas card. I had to be moved from my first room because their was no TV in the bedroom, but my suite was beyond nice. A huge shower and tub and can't forget about the Eastern King size bed, which I thought was quite comfortable. It would be nice if they had a microwave in the room for leftovers, but I survived. I actually had the buffet a few nights so no leftovers to worry about. I think next time I will stay there during maybe warmer months to take advantage of the pool area. Overall I had a very relaxing time.

Yelp
This review is about Willows Spa and I don't have pics for obvious reasons. What I can tell you is that I've had the Hot Stone massage, Deep Tissue massage and the Signature massage. All were fantastic. Each time I've come I like how it wasn't crowded with loud drunk people. The workers are great here very professional. They serve fresh coffee tea or champagne if you're fancy. There are cold towels, cold water and light snacks. I luv the amenities. The showers are spacious, the indoor waterfall pool is like getting a massage before your massage. They have a salt sauna and a salt water pool. They have these huge round circular swings you can hang out in or lounge in these giant human sized bird cages. Luv that. The steam room and sauna is amazing. There's even a regular pool out back. The hot stone massage can relieve your muscle tension. The deep tissue and signature massage were done with awesome masseuse. Excellent for circulation and overall wellness. Each time I've come in for a massage I woke myself up by snoring. Luv Willows Spa. They have skincare and hair services as well. Nice place to go and pamper yourself in luxurious overall wellness. Mel M Yelp 22:24

Yelp
A 4-Star Hotel (the only one in/near San Diego), and it's worth staying at. The customer service in checking in was professional, and friendly. The pool is open, and adults only. The pool has servers and a very large bar. The room, a suite, photo's attached, was simply wonderful. The Alexa music tower in the room was the best, no other resort in San Diego has an Alexa. The dining in room services was great, you can order from a special channel from the TV, and I ordered a very large and tasty breakfast both days. The bed was amazing, and the two head shower was a delight. I will spend another special 2-3 days there again, it's perfect.

Yelp
The staff made our anniversary something to remember. The staff was very nice. A special thanks to David at the front desk. The room and food were excellent. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Thanks

Yelp
Don't spend your money there. The valet staff are lazy and don't want to take your luggage to your room n when u complain what taking so long they will make up some kind of excuse to tell u to leave and when u ask for a video of the incense to they will kick you out !

Yelp
I hate to do this . . . I really do. Let me preface this by saying that our 13th wedding anniversary stay at The Willows Hotel was excellent! From check-in to check-out, the room, amenities, restaurant, ("Locale," in the casino), pool, bar, cabana, food, and pool staff were all A1. We stayed for a night back in June and stayed poolside for a total of 2 days. No complaints. It wasn't until we were about to check out that I realized that I had left my stingy brim in cabana #4 the day before (we rented the cabana and had some friends visit). The pool attendants told me it was probably across the street at the Security office. So once I got home, I called them and they said Housekeeping would have anything lost that wasn't money or jewelry. So I called them. Several times. Left messages. It's July 8th (3 weeks) and STILL no one has returned my call. I also called Lost & Found for the hotel. Several times. Left messages. You all already know . . NO answer or call back. The hat was a gift so I was really trying to get it back as whoever cleaned out the cabana shou've located it. Don't let your valuables out of your sight anywhere, especially there at The Willows. Because even non-valuables will disappear.

Yelp
If only the bed was even remotely comfortable, I'd happily give Willows five stars. Unfortunately, I found the bed to be so firm and uncomfortable that I barely slept and tossed and turned the entire night. If I ever stay here in the future, I'll have to bring extra padding to sleep on. Aside from the bed issue, which was a big deal for me, the rest of the Willows was beautiful. My friend is a frequent visitor to Viejas and had enough points to redeem her free rooms for two suites. The suites were gorgeous and spacious. We had one king and one with two queens and both rooms were adjoining, creating the perfect place for our group of seven girls to hang out. The suites each had a living room and large bathroom too. Unfortunately, the pool was oddly closed for the season in March. It wouldn't have seemed as odd if it had been closed all winter but the sign said it had recently closed. Seems like it should have been opening in March instead of closing. Maybe next time I visit I'll be able to use the pool.

Andree E.

Yelp
This is what and $80 manicure looks like. Went and spent around $350 on a mani/pedi and massage. Mani/pedi was horrible. Massage was good, but nothing I'd go back for. Facility was clean and new

Natalie F.

Yelp
Stayed here for a work event in one of the suites. Very modern and nice inside, super spacious and cozy! Our room had a living room, patio, and a huge bathroom. Definitely recommend ! The willows is a little of a walk to the main area of the casino but not unattached. The staff here was very helpful and were very accommodating. Valet service is complementary when staying with them :)

Yelp
WILLOWS SPA REVIEW We were guests of the hotel (Viejas, not Willows) and walked over to the spa the day before to book appointments. The two ladies at the front were sweet and helpful with scheduling. I think their names were Shannon and Hannah. They both seemed like they were having fun at work which always puts me at ease about spending my money somewhere. Big smiles everywhere and helpful attitudes all around. We came back the next day about two hours before our facials to do the spa thing and were happy to find the place empty! Well, empty inside at least. It was a lovely day in June and all of the spa guests were either in services or out at the pool/cabanas. We basically had the indoors to ourselves. The spa is small, but has everything you need. The locker situation is a little bizarre (as others have noted) but the cramped space didn't bother us since no one else was inside at the time. Both of our estheticians were about two minutes late. I'm a stickler for being on time, so it irritated me slightly, but Jillian did give me the full-time for my service without me having to ask which demonstrated professionalism on her part. I get LOTS of facials and massages on the regular and she has a lovely touch with just the right amount of pressure. I also appreciated that the tables were heated and cushioned and that the room was wide open and clean. Even though we were just steps away from the casino, the space was tranquil and a welcomed change of pace for our trip. My Mom also LOVED her esthetician Jamie and can't wait to visit her on our next trip. Major, major, major shout-out to Shelby! She walked around the spa and pool constantly checking to see if anyone needed anything. I watched her interact with guests, mop, pick up wet towels, give directions, etc - and she did everything with a joyful heart. She's going to go far in life with anything she decides to do all because of her attitude! TIP -BYOS: bring your own snacks. Don't sneak in with your movie theater purse, but I'd bring a little fruit bowl or something with me. The spa had free chilled water and a spicy/cheesy trail mix, but there's also a menu you can order off of. I didn't see anything worth the money, so I'd probably just bring a little something or wait and eat afterwards. -Bring as little as possible to the locker because they're tiny half-lockers. -The spa provides towels, slippers, and robes (ask for smaller/larger sizes) if necessary. -Finally, the swings that everyone poses in are fun for like three-seconds and then the vertigo starts to set in... Hop on quick, take your pics for the 'gram and then go sit in one of the the lounge chairs. Thank me later. -There is a handicap accessible shower. Visited Wednesday June 5th, 2019.

Yelp
I don't even know how to begin this review. After much deliberation and research regarding what to do for my 30th birthday, I decided on a onesie themed slumber party with the girls. There are so many wonderful hotels around San Diego, but I really wanted it to feel like a little getaway without a super long drive. We constantly talk about needing to take advantage of the many casinos scattered around the county, so I figured this would be a perfect opportunity. Originally, I planned on booking two queen rooms at the Viejas Hotel, but unbeknownst to me one of my friends is a Gold Member and is very familiar with all things Viejas. She told me that we would definitely be wanting to stay at The Willows (which has been added since I last visited Viejas many years ago, so had no clue what it was) and that she could get us a great deal on the rooms. I knew it was going to be nice after looking it up online, but the photos do not do it justice. Everything at The Willows is so beautiful and upscale. From the hallway, to the lobby, to the rooms, all 9 of us were beyond impressed. It was so much more than I was expecting and the suites were to die for. We had two adjoining suites, one King and one with two Queens, connected by two full living rooms between. The bathrooms were literally the size of another bedroom and the showers were a huge topic of discussion the entire evening. They are elegantly decorated with very neutral tones of grays and tans, and just the right mix of classic and modern. There is a bit of a minimalist vibe, which upheld the sophisticated atmosphere. As I mentioned, we did get a fantastic deal thanks to my friend's membership, but I am certain these rooms are quite pricey. I'm definitely going to keep an eye out for good deals to stay though, I'd really like to come back during the summer and take advantage of the pool. It was closed so we didn't get to check it out this time around, but we couldn't help but comment about how gorgeous it is and how much fun it would be to spend a warm summer day lounging poolside with a cocktail from the stylish bar, which all overlooks the desert landscape. Recommend! Recommend! Recommend!

Yelp
I came up to San Diego for the Be Like Josh Foundation meet and greet and stayed here Thursday night. Everything is amazing here. I had the double queen room (there are pics others have posted on here). The bathroom is bigger than a former studio I lived in. Fantastic. The rain shower and wall Mount shower heads are so so so good. We had dinner at The Cafe, such beautiful ambient atmosphere with a fireplace that reaches the stars; everyone distanced comfortably is luxury. As evidenced in other pics here, a gorgeous place to stay whether you gamble or not. I'll be back

Sophia L.

Yelp
Chihiro at the nail spa was the best!! She took amazing care of me and made my nails perfect and cleann, will definitely come back for her work at the Viejas spa @willows

jenny f.

Yelp
Today I had a hot stone massage with Jaime. She has a magic touch that made all my tension melt away. Highly recommend if you need some self care at an exquisite spa. Everyone was kind, helpful and attentive. My only suggestion is to get different locker locks, they were acting up and that was the only opportunity I experienced. Cannot wait to come back with my girls.

Melody L.

Yelp
First time staying here and stood here during the pandemic. They check your temperature before you can even enter. I paid around $500 a night for a room. However, I thought it would come with a balcony and it didn't. My room had just a bedroom separated from the living room. The pictures were definitely incorrect. I had booked through hotels.com so not sure who's mistake is on that end. When I checked in I asked if they could do anything but they didn't. I asked even for an upgrade but they wanted to charge me $100 more. I declined. I went to my room and it was decent. I've definitely stayed in better. Also, it was very hot when we went since it's currently summer and the air conditioning in the room doesn't get very cold. I had it around 60 degrees which is the lowest setting, I don't remember the exact temperature, but it definitely didn't feel that cold. It felt more like mid 70's. I guess the ac unit in my house is just better. So my sleep was pretty uncomfortable. The bed was pretty firm which isn't my thing. I like more soft pillow tops. So if firm is where it's at for you, you'll love it. I also ordered room service and it was okay. Definitely overpriced. The TV didn't get many channels so that's another thing. The pluses to this place is that it's very clean, you get free soft drinks in your room and I was able to get a late checkout. But that's not a fersure thing. I wouldn't stay here again because it's overpriced for a basic room with not so great staff.

Michael W.

Yelp
One of the best hotel I would recommend to anyone who like to relax and enjoy a few days. Willows Hotel and Spa is the new addition of the Viejas resorts. Adult only hotel. Great customer services. Nice decorations! Very comfortable beds! Self parking is free and the parking garage just right next to the hotel and casino. Good restaurants and buffet in the casino just few minutes walk. Also you can shopping in the outlets next to the hotel! Very good hotel I'll come back next time when I'm in San Diego!

Paul G.

Yelp
So...man, we wanted to love this place so much. I'm giving 3 stars but without a doubt it is not a reflection of the staff. Everyone was very accommodating and friendly and not in a fake "yes sir, no sir" way. No issues whatsoever with them. Pros: The room was very nice and had a nice view of the pool. We received a tray of fruit and nuts about 15 minutes after we checked in. There were TVs in the bedroom and suite and they were nice. Everything is new and super clean. No kids man. No kids. As I said above, SUPER friendly people working there. Cons: The rooms are suites but for some reason someone thought it would be a good idea to make the doors to the bathroom and suites frosted glass. So if you wake up earlier than your significant other, you can't turn on a light. If you have to go the bathroom, you can't (try not to), turn on the light. Photos are included to give you perspective. It looks good but defeats the purpose of a suite. We booked spa treatments and were not informed until we checked in that the outdoor hot tub at the spa and the outdoor spa area were being resurfaced. The same applied to the hot tub everyone could (couldn't), use at the pool. We don't (can't), do this type of thing often. It's a privilege for us. We were given 2 free passes to use the spa facilities in the future....until they expired in December. Th whole place is new. Why is it being resurfaced? Mixed drinks at the bar? The dude pouring was not generous. The fridge in the room was full of stuff to buy. If you have leftovers from the restaurants, good luck. There we're about 40 channels on the tv. The remote was slow and the guide button didn't work. I'd get into the fact that $5 blackjack was not always available as advertised (only half the time, even in day time), that a promotional shoot was being done at the pool during regulars hours which meant others couldn't use it cus the models needed the best shot, or that man, the best food we had the whole time was the pizza across the street, but this thing is long already. Again, GREAT STAFF, but too many kinks to go back.

Daniella M.

Yelp
Vegas did just get a lot closer !!!! The new viejas Casino Hotel Willows is beautiful and elegant and all the renovations on the casino floor are outstanding and you really do feel like you are in Vegas without leaving Beautiful San Diego.....I love the decor and esthetic Of Willows, world class service at your finger tips.....the hotel smells delicious as you walk in....I also admire the fact they personalize your visit ....salt water heated pools...a gorgeous spa...and it's a 21+ hotel......sorry (no children) one more thing if you stay here ask for turndown service...you welcome

Kevin C.

Yelp
OMG!!! What a special treat to have a complementary suite in this new hotel. The staff are very friendly and informative. The rooms are very spacious with a very spacious bathroom and a spacious living room area. There is everything you need in the bathroom including a flatiron for your needs. The shower can hold 10 people, it's so roomy and comes with a raindrop option too. The living room has its own television along with a nice sofa. The wet bar is stoked with complementary beverages and there is a Keurig too for your use. The bedroom is nice with a ceiling fan and a very comfortable bed and huge television with Alexia at your command.

Yelp
Spa snob here again. This place is GORGEOUS. The ambiance of this place is just amazeballs. My sister took me to the spa recently for my birthday and we got lost wandering the hotel because it's just so beautiful. The spa itself was a pristine oasis. It met all my basic ideals of what a spa should be and have. Check in was a breeze, they walked us through the facility. The women's locker room has everything you could possibly need, was not that impressed with their shampoos and soaps though. There's an indoor and out door jetted spa which was EVERYTHING. The indoor spa has a nice waterfall that shut off when the jets are turned on. In the same small area, there are steam rooms and a dry heat room which is also quite nice! The outdoor area has the large jetted T-shaped spa as well as large lounge swings and cozy egg-like cabanas that are perfect for your quintessential #spalife photo ops. There's tables and chairs under umbrellas if you wanted to dine there as well which we did. The two negative things I have to say about this part of our experience was that the food was not great at all. I guess my sister and I had high expectations since the food at our staple spa is phenomenal, but who goes to a spa to eat anyway? Seriously though, don't eat here. All they had were boring salads and wraps. Not worth it. Another negative was the fact that this is Alpine and it gets hot as balls there so it was just weird to have this beautiful pool that looks so refreshing and tempting but as soon as you get in it, you realize what a big mistake it was because it's so damn hot since it's a spa. These two reasons alone are why I'm only giving it four out of five stars. I got a massage for my treatment from Kwin and she did a wonderful job. Unfortunately, the people at the front desk snatched the receipt from me so quickly, I wasnt able to leave her a decent tip. Also, now that I remember, they did a "service charge" for about $20 which I personally think kind of sucks and wasn't told of before hand. All in all, I would probably come back... but only if they had really good specials. I still prefer my staple spa.

Yelp
;) this hotel is top notch, from the entrance, on the rooms:) the staff is so cool and helpful:) they made me feel welcomed:) my suite was amazing, one of my favorite rooms so far. My second favorite is the main suite at viejas casino :) so yeah!!! The only downer was I could not get in the jacuzzi:( I don't know if it's because the pool was closed for the season or why:(. But the pool area is so beautiful:) I would definitely be back :)

Yelp
Spa review Willows hotel and spa is STRICTLY 21+ Viejas really set a High bar for all of San Diego. I cannot express how wonderful our stay and spa day was! All of the employees are so very sweet and accommodating. The decor is sleek, clean, and retro. The spa services rendered was fenomenal. The prices are very fair. When you get services from the spa. You have all day privileges at the gym pool and jacuzzi.

Yelp
Gorgeous get away spot. Beautiful luxurious suites with balcony rooms overlooking the lush swimming pool area. Huge bathrooms. Suites complete with separate living room retreat area. Refrigerators in room. 2 60" TVs in each suite. Very crisp and clean. Very nice and accommodating staff. Reasonable and delish room service. Perfect for full meal late night in room dining. Nice shopping outlets. Conveniently attached to the Viejas casino and hotel. Big and beautiful casino floor and with the latest slots and gaming. LOOSE SLOTS. VERY CLEAN AND PRACTICE COVID-19 SAFETY

Yelp
I wish I could give it 4 stars, I had every intention on doing so, but the overall experience fell a little short. Mostly there were some issues with the room overall & services are what caused my rating. I will say that the employees are exceptional with customer service! I used to work for the Four Seasons, and the level they provided, rivals it. Especially referring to guests by their proper name. TV in the master was inoperable at 1 point, and was blaring, we couldn't turn it down, so had to turn it off. The room service was superb. Nothing like being told 50 min and having it delivered in less than 20! The lack of options were not great. Also, I wish the pool stayed open longer than 6pm, with this being an all adult hotel, I would think 11pm is more reasonable. Especially with it being summer & the spa is closed. A couple other reasons for my reduced rating. We were there to celebrate my husband's birthday, which I mentioned several times: when I made the reservation, called to verify the reservation, & requested an amenity to be delivered upon arrival. The amenity wasn't delivered, I wish I would've gotten the lady who assured me it would be. This was disappointing. Occupancy appeared low, & no offer for an upgrade. Can't win'em all I suppose. Have to mention Shantinae, whom checked us in, for being kind & courteous. Also she pointed to our room number on the key packet, which is so important. Crucial working FD, to never say a guests room number outloud. Ok, my review runneth over. To summarize: Bed - Phenomenal Shower with the dual heads - Heaven, I want 1 in my house. Now. Pool - Gorgeous, loved it. Room size & design - Stellar. Definitely worth returning.

Yelp
I came here with a group of girlfriends to celebrate a 30th and had an absolute blast and I was so impressed and would love to come back. The only reason why I'm not giving 5 stars is because I didn't spend the night and I would reserve that for a whole experience. My friend got two adjoining rooms, one a king suite and the other was 2 queen beds in a suite. The rooms were huge and they had a massive bathroom and shower and they had living rooms that were also a great size. Everything was very fancy to me and done up so nicely. The biggest perk was the no kids! I actually didn't stay the night because I wanted to go home to my baby but the fact that we were able to just go and hang out and have fun and not worry about kids and the possible family life in the room down the hall and could just be ourselves surrounded by other adults was awesome. We were also provided with complementary cake pops and they were delicious! Since the room was checked into already I was meeting a friend in the lobby to bring me to the room but that part was pretty confusing. I thought I was in the lobby but then I wasn't? I just stood in one spot and tried to explain where I was until someone found me. I for sure would love to come back here with my husband to relax for a night when we are ready to spend a night away from the kids but would for sure come again to hang out with friends.

Yelp
Experienced bit of a hiccup in the beginning but it had nothing to do with the staff. We had a reservation for a deep tissue massage, we were warned when scheduling the appt that there was some construction happening on the top floor. However when we arrived it was extremely loud and didn't feel that the experience would be relaxing enough. The staff understood and we agreed to schedule at a later time when perhaps the construction was completed. 10 minutes after we left an employee called us to let us know the couples room was not loud and they could still see us if we wanted to. We were in the outlets and figured why not. The team welcomed us back and boy are we glad we went back. Both massage therapists did an amazing job. Both were friendly , professional and made us feel very comfortable. The construction noise was very faint by that room so it all turned out perfectly. Thank you spa team for going above and beyond by reaching out and making sure we did not leave without a massage that was so very much needed. I wish I could have gotten everyone's name's but absolutely everyone was amazing. Thank you again!

Yelp
My husband and I booked Willows for our 15th Anniversary. We got there after 4 pm and were told our room still wasn't ready. They would text me when it was.. so we go to the pool but then it closes in 15 mins. It's open until 5. We get in our room and there is nothing in there. There is note they leave on the bed.. if you want your robe, toiletries, ice, etc. Call the for housekeeping. Viejas used COVID as reason to take your amenities away.. then expects you to make a list of things you of need them to bring you. Why charge a resort fee then? One thing that really bothered me is Tissue is another thing you have to ask for? I paid $445.00 to stay in a escape room to only think I needed to go back home to where all the things I would have hoped were in my room. It wasn't worth the money at all.. I at this point wish we had went somewhere else.

Yelp
SO upset...took a guest to Willows Spa for much deserved pampering. Instead, massage therapist was texting on his phone before and during treatment!! We weren't charged but that doesn't begin to cover the outrage, anger, and embarrassment. Thank you Wendy at Willows Spa for responding to my review.

Yelp
Finally got a chance to stay here for a night with a homie hook up. I have to admit, albeit it was free, the room we got was smaller than the one in the Viejas Hotel. However, the bathroom and the double headed shower was amazing. The room was still well kept and had the typical free stuff that makes Viejas stand out (sodas, waters, amenities). The room service was great with whatever we asked. The Willows is separated in another part of the resort. Its another experience separate from the Viejas hotel. The pool area here also looks 5 star (too bad I dont get a chance to actually try it but maybe soon).

Yelp
Willows Pool is so filthy. They allow Wheelchairs in the water. Nasty!! The chair is dirty! Bugs are in water and not picked up. Viejas do something! I'm surprised at this.

Yelp
Anyone who knows me, knows I absolutely LOVE Viejas. I've celebrated my last 3 birthdays here with my family & friends and Viejas Queen, Lex (Ken Bird). I wish I would've waited to come out and did it in the summer. I think the reopening isn't as smooth as I would've liked. This being my very first outing in 2-months, I was super excited to share my Hubby's birthday since late March we got a cancellation email due to COVID. They are always so on top of their game that I'm still sitting here with my mouth wide open just shocked, stumped, disappointed. That service that their known for hasn't showed up yet. I'll explain why I say that. We need to stay in until the world truly opens up. Checked In Sunday at Willows. Went To Barron's To Eat. My Glass Of Wine Was Brought Out With Lipstick All Over The Rim. I was Sick. The Waiter Took It Back, Brought Another. I Get My Soup/Salad & Pick Up My Spoon & It's Got Food All On The Back. He Brings Me Another. Monday, We Ate Breakfast At The Cafe. Not The Same But It Was Fine. Monday Night We Ordered Room Service. Lord‼ My Dinner Rolls Were Missing. I Called The Operator. She Took My Order So Called Them To Bring My Rolls. 25-Minutes Later My Husband Was Getting Upset. I Called Again. She Was Great, She Placed Me On Hold & Called Them. She Said "They Ran Out Of Rolls" "But They're Gonna Bring You Toast". Mind You My Food Didn't Have A Silver Cover, So It Was Cold When I Called The 2nd Time. He Shows Up 10-Minutes Later With 2-Pieces Of Cold Bread, Not Toasted, But A Bowl Full Of Butter. WTH Was I Going To Do With Hard Butter & Cold Bread? I Called Again, I Was So Upset. She Transferred Me To Who She Said Was "In-Room Dining Manager". A Man With A Heavy Accent Answered. I Said "Hi Is This A Manager"? He Said "What Do You Need"? I Explained What Happy, Told Him "I Don't Want A Replacement, But It's Important That You Talk To Your Staff". "Ok I'll Let Them Know"! Really? I Don't And Can't Believe He Was The Manager. This Is Very Disappointing. I Was Too Afraid Of Them Doing Something To My Food. So I Didn't Want Anything. In April I Was Very Ill. I Was Dearly Ill For 2-Weeks. I'm So Blessed To Even Be Here. I Can't Risk My Health Or Life Due To Carelessness ‼ All That Being Said, I Need To Stay Home Another Month. This Is Truly One Of My Favorite Places Outside Of Vegas. Thus I'm Truly Saddened By This. Willows Was Always Been About Service, Atmosphere, Ambience & Glistening Floors. It's Definitely NOT Back To Normal. COVID Is Our New Normal But Service Keeps You Loyal. I Pray They Get Back To Service. Blessings #StayHome #TheWorldIsntReady

Yelp
Beauitufl hotel. Great food. Clean rooms. Amazing Spa. Relaxing pool. What more do you need? I love this hotel. I am so glad Viejas decided to add a hotel here. Everything went smoothly at every stay- check in/out the pool the food the spa the gambling. It's always fun to do a little getaway here. Love that the rooms have a full size bath, one of my favorite things about staying at a hotel. The spa is the best here. They have a steak room, a sauna, a jacuzzi, a pool, outdoor seating and indoor seating, and a whole bathroom with showers and tools to freshen up. You literally never want to leave when you come. Can't wait to come back. (also best thing is- 21+ only, thank you!!!!! no kids in the pool wooo)

Yelp
Pretty bad service overall! I booked a room and received q confirmation for it and when I arrived there I found out that they randomly switched me from a kingbed room to unnecessary double queen and made me and my wife and our two kids wait for about 45 minutes just for a manager to come in and try to cover up and saying sorry for their mistake with a bad attitude! Hope no one goes through what me and my family went through

Yelp
Morher & daughter day at Viejas spa & Willows Hotel today. Had a wonderful 5 star massage from Jess and enjoyed the beautiful, relaxing spa facility. Unfortunately the Willows pool and bar were the only option for food and drink and it was there we experienced VERY POOR SERVICE as they were completely under staffed. The pool was only at ~40% capacity but only 1 bartender and 1 pool attendant helping the cabanas only so we couldn't get food or drink. I went into the hotel to speak with a manager, i was told she would come out to my seat but never did. On our way out I saw her and spoke with her, she said sorry but clearly I could see they were understaffed.....no shit. I suggested they limit the number of guests or only open one pool rather than two. We frequently go to Harrahs and Sycuan and have never had an issue getting service.

Yelp
This review is regarding The Willows Spa. This was my second visit and I was using a TravelZoo coupon. My first visit was great, so I was looking forward to another wonderful spa experience after having a rough month. However, my 50-minute massage did not even last 50 minutes. I was the last one called among the three of us, and I was fully dressed by the time they finished. The table was cold when it is normally warm, which would have been appreciated on this cool day. The oil applied was cold and so were the hands. Even though the table's heat was turned on, it was lukewarm after about 10 minutes. I left feeling cold. Even though there was a slight discount from what I'm used to paying, I would rather pay a little more and get a luxurious spa treatment. I probably won't be coming back. Massage re-do: Service was superb today. Amelia is such a wonderful massage therapist who managed to get the kinks out of my shoulder. The champagne was a lovely touch and everyone was super friendly. I took advantage of enjoying the pool after on this warm day. You can order food/drinks from the bar next to the pool. I will definitely come back!
