The 11 Best Brunch Spots in Palm Springs | Eater LA

"Try to nab a seat on the balcony overlooking Palm Canyon Drive at Wilma & Frieda’s. This restaurant is all about brunch every day of the week with an ideal vantage point to people-watch. Of course, the people-watching is always better with coffee, churro waffle, biscuits and gravy, or the short rib eggs Benedict. The cocktails also hit just right." - Mona Holmes

My family and I have loved W&F for years and the palm springs location is the best breakfast you can find downtown for sure! ( My sister introduced me to their coffee's ☕️ back in 2013 or so) I order alot of eggs Benedict 👌 go with the one that has ham! not the short rib! Lil bit pricey but you really taste it in the food quality.., and presentation. Had a drink with a lil ducky in it that was one of the best rum cocktails ever. 🍸 👍 "smooth sailing i think it was called" anyway here i got some 4k photos for ya! No filter

Google
What a lovely place for Sunday brunch! My party of 6 arrived after 12PM during the heart of brunch and we were still able to be seated quickly and was able to score a table in the inside away from the hot sun. Our waiter was so kind and attentive! He deserved that generous tip! I wish I remembered his name but he was great! The atmosphere was classy and the type of place you can bring family or for cute girls day or bachelorette. I got the Short Rib Egg Benedict and it was a 10/10!!!!!! Probably the best egg benny I’ve ever had! No bottomless options for mimosas but the mimosa were nice and strong. Overall, this place was perfect! Can’t wait to come back to Palm Springs again!!

Google
Our server, Andrew was very attentive and kind. The food was amazing, with large portions. I had the short rib scramble, soood moist and tender. The latte was fantastic. We had a wonderful breakfast experience.

An opinion that consistently clocks to me and that I stand on business with is that I love American breakfast. We're BOOMING European breakfasts. It's not even close. Call us fat or whatever excuse you want to make up for your sorry breakfasts. However, if I were to critique the Lionel Messi of breakfasts, I want bacon AND sausage with my two eggs any style. Not Bacon OR sausage. I'm a grown man and I need to meet my protein goals for the day. All this to say, I dropped to my knees in Wilma & Frieda's when I saw the "Sky's the Limit" breakfast in the top right corner of the menu. It consists of 3 eggs any style, bacon AND sausage, hashbrowns, toast, and 1 of their specialty French toasts. The European mind could NEVER comprehend this. Yeah, I already hear the chirps. "Yeah, have fun unclogging those arteries Porky Pig." "No wonder 42% of you are obese." "That much sugar might actually kill me." All fair to be honest, but there are sacrifices in every decision. Just like not wearing deodorant makes you smell HORRENDOUS. The hardest choices require the strongest wills. Shoutout to Wilma & Frieda's for improving on the best breakfast in the world. It's inspirational really. Even if you're the best, you can always get better. The sky is truly the limit. IG @jnov_ Tiktok @jnov__

Wow! Generous servings of highly delicious breakfast fare. Nice balcony view with tons of charm. Coffee was delightful and service was great. Our server Andrew was quick and courteous. Two “Bennies”, two coffee drinks and we spent $62 bucks.

Google
Went on a quick trip to Palm Springs and was recommended to go to Wilma & Frieda's. I ordered a Iced Latte with oatmilk (wonderful) waffle was so delicious with a lot of berries. Service was great the atmosphere is relaxing 😌 loved it!

Google
This is the first time at Wilma & Frieda’s and they did not disappoint! The wait staff was very polite, attentive and friendly! I really enjoyed that you could choose which ingredients you wanted in your scramble. It was light and fluffy and they did not skimp on the amount they used. The hash browns were delicious and not greasy at all. We also tried the Churro Waffle and added some chopped bananas. Nothing was left on our plates. The fresh squeezed orange juice was amazing too. Everything was so good! Definitely will go back.

Google
It's ok. It feeds your body. Nothing to rave about and definitely not worthy of 4.4...it's 3.8 at best. Tables need to be cleaned faster. Drinks were good. Service is just ok.

Yelp
We came here for brunch after a nice morning hike and it was a gorgeous spot. We sat outside on the patio overlooking the Main Street and the ambience was so perfect and refreshing. I had the granola with yogurt and mixed berries which was perfectly sweet and refreshing. At our table we also got the short rib scramble and churro waffle and both were very impressive. Our servers were super attentive on filling our coffee and the food came out quite quickly.

Yelp
Wilma & Frieda's has a very lively ambiance and it was a no brainer as we were walking down Palm Canyon, figuring out which place to eat at for our last meal in Palm Springs. Tons of well-behaved pooches sitting outside, enjoying the sun while larger parties sat inside. We asked for the first available table and we were placed at an indoor table, with views of the outside. It was great for people watching! Kim's Banana Caramel French Toast -- Thick cuts of brioche bread drizzled with sour cream, caramel, and topped with sliced banana. I was afraid of it all being overly sweet but the menu description makes it sound sweeter than it really is. According to our waiter, it's one of their popular items. BJ's - Short Rib Scramble & Mozzarella -- A scramble combination with short rib, mushrooms, onions and cheese. Perfectly ratio of meat:mushroom:onions, and a great pairing with the French toast. Plenty of parking behind the building or park further down and enjoy the nice walk down bustling Palm Canyon!

Yelp
Tucked away on the second story of small group shops and dining spots you can find Wilma & Frieda's tasty restaurant. We stopped in for a little breakfast. Everything was flavorful and fresh. Short rib eggs benedict Soy-rizo scramble Home made berry preserves So so good! Great service. Finished it all off with a little espresso too. We'll be sure to stop back in the next time we're in town.

Yelp
A popular watering hole in the Palm Springs desert, Wilma & Frieda's serve all-day breakfast and brunch if that's your thing. The 'special meatloaf' I ordered was quite good but not quite 'special' enough. My friends liked their food as well but weren't wowed by it. It's good solid American comfort food served up in a colorful ambience. My go-to brunch spot in PS used to be the French Miso Cafe across the street, but it sadly did not survive the Covid pandemic. I walked by the closed restaurant and saw a homeless man laying in the front. Oy vey. There are still Cheeky's and Jake's...

Yelp
This was such a cute place to stop and eat after landing in PSP! Although it's in Palm Desert, it's worth the drive. I ordered a Caesar salad and Bloody Mary. The Bloody Mary had an interesting taste because they use Caesar dressing in the mix + rim the glass with something that tasted like a bbq rub. My Caesar was delicious!! But BIG! Definitely something you want to split with someone because I only made a small dent! Our server was very attentive and patient with us when we asked all the questions.

Yelp
Wilma and Frida's was another brunch place that we went to before Coachella, as we wanted some good brunch food to fuel our day. It has a lot of classic American comfort food, and even though we did walk-in we were able to be seated right away. It wasn't too crowded when we went and there was plenty of space inside of the restaurant. I decided to try out the BLT and Avocado sandwich they had which I got with a side of fruit. While it is on the pricier side, the sandwich was very good and was well-made. The bread and bacon were crispy while the avocado tasted pretty fresh. The people in my group also enjoyed their food as well, so their other dishes should also be high quality. Overall, this is a nice place to check out for a quick brunch in Palm Springs!

Yelp
I've wanted to try this place since I saw it on Diners Drive Ins and Dives. So glad I did. Located in the heart of downtown Palm Springs, it's a gem. Parking was pretty easy, the location was great for people watching. Our view was great from the table. They are dog friendly, my boy joined us on the patio. I would like to recommend just a small doggie menu, even something simple. I am a biscuits and gravy fan so that's what i ordered, after all they said it was the BEST. I have to agree it was pretty dang good, the mix of bacon and sausage, oh wow so tasty and so creamy. My wife ordered the Blackberry Custard French Toast, she ate every bit. Said it reminded her of a bread pudding. There are several menu items we wanted to try just means we will be returning.

Yelp
We had a breakfast for 32 people after my son's wedding weekend. It could not have gone any smoother. Kelly communicated with me in advance and everything came together just as she promised. The table was set up so we could all talk with one another. The homemade pop tarts were amazing, as were the mimosas! The servers were attentive and the room was perfect.

Yelp
Yum yum yum!! Came for Sunday brunch around 1030am and were sat immediately on the patio even through the place was busy! Staff were so friendly and super helpful. We could hear the live music from the restaurant below, and enjoyed the view from the patio, great fun retro vibe! We both went with unique recommendations from the waiter-- hubby got the Bangers & Rings Benny and I got the Zuchini Spirals & eggs-- so delicious! The zoodles look and feel like pasta but of course a healthier lighter version-- went well with the velvety egg yolk. Just wish it was separate from my hashed browns & biscuits which got a bit wet from the sauce BUT the biscuit was fluffy and moist-- and the hashbrowns were crispy!! Even loved my tropical iced tea!! Would definitely return!

Yelp
WOW. I love this place and happy they survived COVID epidemic. Everything was wonderful (again- as we have eaten here before) but I can't say enough about those homemade biscuits! I may come back and only eat these and the homemade jam- simply wonderful. Thanking all the great servers and the wonderful cooks. You won't be disappointed no matter what you have. All the creative cocktails are excellent as well (I haven't had them all but the ones I did sample). Enjoy this great hangout.

Yelp
I have been wanting to try this restaurant since I loved watching Wilma and Frieda's on cooking channel. Every-time we are in Palm Springs we couldn't get in because of the long wait. We his time we woke up early to get in, the place looked like a house and the food was very simple, didn't taste anything special. We paid too much money just for the name. I was very disappointed in thinking l am going to taste something special now that l am having breakfast at two well known chefs' restaurant. The ambience was casual and our server was nice, but he only came once to check on us and the second time to serve us with the bill. I don't think I would come here again.
google avatar

Alex K.

Yelp
First time here even though we've been to Palm Springs plenty of time. I have noticed this place but just never been. It was pretty busy when we arrived but the wait time wasn't long for a table. There's a main dining area, a bar area and a lounge dining area where they had a live dj. We ended sitting in the lounge with the dj. Menu gets down to the point with breakfast and lunch. Started off with the Bloody Mary which was really nice. Main, the shorts rib scrambled served with country potatoes and a biscuit. Also the omelette with was quite nice was well. Meal was great, service was nice. Even though the lounge area had the dj, it wasn't overpowering the dining experience.

Yelp
Cute little restaurant on the strip. The food was just so so. Husband ordered the eggs Benedict with short ribs and said the short ribs were dry and tasted like they had been sitting around all day. Sadly, he said mostly the same about his hashbrowns that were almost rubbery. I had a cheeseburger that wasn't bad. The bun was HUGE and soft. Tasted very fresh. Overall, we weren't wowed and wouldn't go back.

Yelp
I stopped by here for the first time after hearing so many great reviews of it. It was a fairly slow weekday noon hour. There was no one at the hostess stand for a good three minutes while three parties all stood around waiting. I sat outside at a high top with a great view of the street scene. I ordered the avocado tomato mushroom omelette, and it came quickly. Water came quickly and was refilled promptly. The big problem was my avocado omelette had no avocado in it. After I ate most of it and noticed the missing star of the show, the waitress stopped by to see how things were and I told her. She promptly brought out 1/4 of a chilled avocado, but the temperature difference between that and the omelette made it unpleasant. The potatoes and biscuit were great.
google avatar

Randy W.

Yelp
Everything is fantastic here! Service and atmosphere is always positive and clean too! If you can make it in when there's biscuits and gravy, order it. Thank you for being my favorite breakfast place in the desert!
google avatar

Vannessa L.

Yelp
Great food, amazing ambience & fast & friendly service. We ordered the Christmas enchiladas & the biscuits & gravy both plates were so good! The two different sauces on the Christmas enchiladas were superb. Oh & don't forget to order some yummy cocktails
google avatar

Deirdre P.

Yelp
Really loved my brunch here. Went with a group. Some tried the pop tarts and they were ok. The enchilada breakfast plate was amazing. It almost had a mole flavor to the sauce. Bacon here is perfectly done. Don't bother with some of the mimosas flavors/ I was sad to see the mango mimosa was just some mango clear syrup would rather some oj!

Yelp
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Wilma and Frieda's in Palm Springs, and it was an experience to remember! I started with the Blackberry French Toast, which was an absolute delight. The toast was perfectly golden, with a crisp exterior and soft, fluffy inside, topped with juicy blackberries that added a refreshing sweetness. The Meatloaf and Scrambled Eggs were equally impressive--a comforting and flavorful combination that hit all the right notes. The meatloaf was tender and well-seasoned, and the scrambled eggs were fluffy and cooked to perfection. The ambiance of Wilma and Frieda's added to the overall experience. The air conditioning was a welcome relief from the scorching summer heat, and the environment was cozy and inviting. Our server was not only attentive and friendly but also brought a charming warmth to the dining experience. I can't wait to return to Wilma and Frieda's on my next visit to Palm Springs. This spot is definitely a must-visit for anyone looking for delicious food and great service!
google avatar

Yelp
Out of all the times I have been back to Wilma and Frieda's I thought I have written a review. Well I keep coming back and it never disappoints. This time we had to try the blueberry lemon tart that is very famous. And I would say it is more a desert than a pastry. There is a very light lemon taste and I just wished it had a bit more. The outside edges with the frosting were the best part cause it was like a perfectly done crust. Then has the short rib Benedict and asked for the biscuit on the side and then after put the Benedict on the hashbrown and I have to say that is one of the best decisions made. Cause the biscuit with the homemade jam was the best! Over all great experience. Just the ambiance on the patio ever since the new restaurant opened the music was clashing against each other and can hardly focus.
google avatar

Sky T.

Yelp
Nice brunch spot that is on the second level of the building. Service was friendly and quick on drinks. We got the Biscuits and Gravy and the French Toast. The French Toast was a bit heavy and not as light as I would have liked. Very much on the dense side. The mains were done well and pretty straightforward. Overall, good breakfast and they also take reservations if you have a larger party.
google avatar

Clara C.

Yelp
Food is great here. Service is ok but horrendously slow. The food that our group raved about: BLT & Avocado sandwich Short rib eggs benedict Omelet Still not convinced? Just make your own scramble. Pick three items for $19.75. GET THE BISCUIT + HOMEMADE JAM. Pro tip: join the Yelp waitlist. While you're waiting, check out the menu and know what you want to order! Parking: free lot in the back or free street spots. You may have to walk, but it's not too bad because there are a lot of shops around here.
google avatar

Julian Y.

Yelp
If you have a large party, I highly recommend making reservations. I made a reservation via email for my party of 13 on a Saturday. I got the Mark's short rib egg benedict which was DELICIOUS. The egg was cooked to perfection and the short rib was tender. My group enjoyed their food as well. Even though we were a large party and the servers had other tables to take care of, the servers were attentive. Overall, I would definitely come back for brunch if I am in Palm Springs!
google avatar

Tiara B.

Yelp
Wilma and Frieda's was absolutely delicious and can't wait to visit again when in Palm Springs! First, my friend and I visited on a weekday and there was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available. I started off with an iced caramel oatmilk latte which was tasty. I had the Eeny meal, which was quite filling. Everything was fresh and homemade. The biscuit with blueberry jam was my favorite! Great prices and customer service. Can't wait to visit again and highly recommend if you're looking for a breakfast/brunch spot in the area.
google avatar

Puneet G.

Yelp
Delicious!! And the ambiance was great. It's a little cramped but the service and food make this a great place to get some food Did I mention they have perfect IHOP level hashbrowns (the best hash browns )
google avatar

Nando R.

Yelp
First time at this location. We were seated quickly. We sat outside and had a great view of Downtown PS. The food was delicious and service was excellent! I will definitely be coming back soon.
google avatar

Arianna R.

Yelp
Location and atmosphere is what you are paying for here in my opinion. The food is average a bit expensive for what it is. I got the filet mignon with eggs. And the steak was very difficult to cut with lots of tendons. The steak at least was cooked perfectly. My sister got Christmas enchiladas & those were good, at least the green sauce ones, personally I'm not a fan of red sauce enchiladas. Then my mom got the tritip Benedict. The meat was good, but eggs had runny whites. I also asked my for eggs to be over medium but one of my egg yolks cracked and cooked all the way through, and the other also had runny whites when its gross. So food was okay... but service was good. We had a waiter who was really patient & nice so I appreciated that with them being crowded for Mother's Day. Overall I'd try again maybe on a less busy day & where the temperature isn't 100 degrees because majority of the seating is outside.
google avatar

Michael S.

Yelp
I loved my breakfast! We arrived Sunday at 10a and I was sure we'd be waiting forever. Nope! We were seated within minutes of arrival. All the menu items looked delicious and they had plenty of vegetarian items for my wife. I was drooling over the myriad sweet waffles/french toasts and savory benedicts. They don't have a kids menu and my kids were sad they didn't offer chocolate chips for the pancakes (boo-hoo, I know). The gridded meatloaf was soooo good. Honestly, I'm still stuffed three hours later while writing this review! They make their biscuits and jam in house and both were delicious! There were plenty of helpers topping off drinks and checking in on us. Our server was super friendly and accommodating. Service (especially ordering and receiving our bill) was slow, but I'm on vacation and I was not in a rush. Overall a great meal at a Palm Spring's icon! Between Elmer's and W&F's you can't go wrong! Hopefully, we can try a few other spots before our trip ends.

Yelp
We came on a Friday as Palm Springs was getting into their slow time. It was still pretty busy at this spot though. They do have an option to join the waitlist online before you get there, so check that option when you are heading that way. We were able to get a seat inside, which was fine, but outside is definitely more popular. You can see right out onto the street of the main area, so good people watching. They have plenty of breakfast and lunch items, so no matter your mood, you can find something. I ordered the Christmas enchiladas, and I thought they were very good. My eggs were cooked perfectly over medium like I ordered them, and both sauces had a good spicy kick to them. I went super hungry because I heard portions were big, so I was still able to finish it. My husband got the meany, and he could not finish it. Our server was super nice, and the other workers were around often filling water, taking dishes we were done with, etc. We would definitely return.

Yelp
Perfect day to sit out on the Terrace. Gorgeous food and Great Service !! Thank you Orville!!
google avatar

Yelp
Food was comforting....good portions, quite a variety with gourmet twists. The inside cute and lots of seating, outside patio is nice. Lots of staff checking on customers. We will be back to try other items, lots of options on the menu.

Yelp
I really enjoyed brunch here. It definitely depends what you order. Mark's short rib Benedict was really good. Nice flavor to the meat which was spiced just right. The eggs were perfect. I also loved the sautéed potatoes and peppers. Very satisfying meal. I paired it with a pop tart and it gave me a delicious sweet and savory meal. The pop tart was piping hot and sweet and delicious. Coffee and the balcony view were very pleasant. On a 2nd trip I tried the biscuits and gravy and I didn't like it as much. A little too carby for my taste. I think I would try the meat loaf and eggs dish next time. I also had the lemon blueberry pop tart (sweet hot and delicious) and wife had the French toast which was custardy. She didn't like it much but I enjoyed it. In fairness hers was takeout so may have been better if eaten there. All in all a lovely brunch experience and a very popular place. Prepare for a wait or get there a bit earlier to hopefully miss the wait.

Yelp
Stopped by Wilma & Frieda's in Downtown Palm Springs on a Saturday morning. Located upstairs with elevator and stair access. Private parking lot shared amongst the other businesses in the same plaza in the back. BJ's Short Rib Scramble & Mozzarella ($21.25): 2 eggs, shredded short rib, sliced mushrooms, and chopped onions paired with a choice of fruit (or hashbrowns/house potatoes/mixed greens )and biscuit (or toast/English muffin). Disappointed with the scramble as it was tasteless and had excess liquid (maybe wet mushrooms from washing?) which may have diluted the flavor. The amount of short rib was also lacking as there was hardly any. Blackberry Custard French Toast ($15.75): A more dense French toast, similar to bread pudding - which is what caught my eye - topped with blackberry sauce and fresh blackberries. The blackberries were a bit tart which made the sauce tart - I think we would have been better off with the classic French toast! Seems I personally chose the wrong dish as I had a taste of the biscuits and gravy which was delicious. There was a parade happening on the main street which was awesome since we sat close to a small balcony where we could oversee it happening.

Yelp
So yummy!! Go get them fresh pop tarts the best coffee and sweet servers!! Highly recommend

Yelp
I found out about this restaurant through some friends, and it's gained popularity on social media! So, find out if it is worth the stop through this review! Expect to wait! I was with a group of 7 and we had to wait approximately 40 minutes for a table! It wasn't too bad of a wait, since there are plenty of stores to window shop at while you wait, but when we were seated the restaurant was not busy at all! Made me question the wait! Anyway, the restaurant is cute! There are old vintage record players and memorabilia from the 80s that give it a diner feel, and there's also balcony seating with French doors that add to the aesthetic. I ordered Mark's Short Rib Eggs Benedict, and it was good! The short rib was cooked so that it was tender, and it melted in your mouth. The eggs were great and even though the English muffin was a little harder, with the entire combination it worked out nicely. We also had an order of the chilaquiles, but it was way too sour to enjoy. So, the staff was kind enough to take it off our tab and provide us with a different dish. I thought that was great, since many restaurants do not do that anymore! Overall, this wasn't a standout, but it was a great place to eat at, if you can't decide where to go! They have a vast selection of dishes and drinks to choose from. Maybe it'll be worth it to you!

Clarisa S.

Yelp
Best french toast I've ever had. I definitely will be coming back again! Everyone was super friendly
google avatar

Barbara K.

Yelp
Another good breakfast. I had my favorite Meany, eggs and fat sausage patty with fresh fruit and monster biscuit. Other than the biscuit being took temp, it was delicious. My husband wasn't as happy. His Short Rib Scramble was not very flavorful, and the English muffin was dense. Service was ok, food took a long time.
google avatar

William M.

Yelp
What a great place for breakfast, brunch or lunch!! The open an area upstairs setting is wonderfully decorated and comfortable. The service is friendly and attentive, and the food is amazing. Everything I tried here was excellent. A stand out would be the freshly baked biscuit with butter and berry jam, as well as my custom scramble.
google avatar

Yelp
We visited Wilma and Frieda's during our recent trip to Palm Desert. We ordered the raspberry cream cheese stuffed French toast, churro waffle with strawberries, biscuits and gravy, and meeny with sausage. And orange juice. Everything was absolutely delicious. We clearly didn't go with all the healthiest options but this was our one dine-in experience on our trip and let our kids choose! But all of it was good - the hash browns were tasty, crispy but not over cooked; the French toast and waffle were different but both very flavorful; the eggs and sausage were perfectly cooked; the biscuits were amazing (you must get one!); and the orange juice was delicious! The menu had a lot of great options. Wish we'd been able to try the cinnamon roll or breakfast tarts. They looked yummy! We are a family of seven and the staff was so kind to our larger than typical (at least in California) and prob a bit more rowdy than typical group. The restaurant is a bit small but offers beautiful indoor and outdoor options. It was easy to get to, from the mall parking area. I would absolutely recommend. So glad this is where we ended up going on our way out of town. We all left with full, happy bellies.

Yelp
Looking for brunch in Palm Springs this place always pop up first if not towards the top of the list and it's not hard to see why. One will wait a bit but it's definitely a spot you want to wake up early to get a spot at the table too. There's a condensed small indoor seating area w booths and some tables along with patio seating. I ordered the churro waffle and it was amazing, not one person at the table left unhappy or unsatisfied.

Yelp
Breakfast, excellent location as well as great food on a perfect Sunday morning. YELP Short Answer: Yes, lots of options but don't get confused. W&F is an excellent dining experience. Location: in the gut of Palm Springs, on street parking can be a pain but 3 hours lots to the west are usually freed up and always open early like 8 am on weekends. Menu: Breakfast menu is not huge but enough there to make you a happy camper. Quality: well prepped and good for a non salty meal. Overall Value: a bit on the pricey side, $90 with tip for two bloodies, split a meal, pastry, and a side of fruit. Okay with us but just letting you know. TIP: Timing is everything, get there early like 8am to 9am

Yelp
Food 2 out 10 Price very expensive for what you get- gotta pay cash or get hit with a service fee to use debit card- service is horrible food took forever -was cold when arrived- it was the second time I visited here -didn't think it could get worse than the first time I was very wrong-nothing worse than horrible service -except a forced tip of 22% place is not worth the hype

Yelp
We came here for breakfast during the week with our dog and were immediately sat on the patio by the hostess. Our waiter and the staff were very attentive and delivered great service. The view is nice overlooking the area and the menu has a variety of items to satisfy your palate. There's three hour parking in the rear of the restaurant.

Yelp
Sister and we're in PS for a few days last weekend. Stayed at a hotel right behind the restaurant parking lot. We decided to give it a try and walked over on Saturday morning for early breakfast. Food was OK. Biscuit was good. Bacon and sausage was good. Prices are ok. Our server was HORRIBLE. White dude. He ignored us for about 10 minutes before he finally faked a nice demeanor and acted like he didn't know our table was in his section. He never came back to check on us. Never asked if we needed any extra napkins or items. Never refilled our coffee or water... instead we asked the very nice and attentive latino bar backs for assistance. THEY were very nice and very friendly. I will definitely not recommend this location to any of my friends or family members who visit PS at least 2 or 3 times a year. Such a shame. Really wanted to add this location to our food rotation list.

Yelp
Excellent upscale comfort foods with high quality ingredients, inventive dishes, DELICIOUS homemade preserves and fast friendly service. The ambience is wonderful. From the balcony, there is great people watching and you can usually hear live music (along with canned music from multiple restaurants in the area, lol.) To top it off, the outdoor patio is pet-friendly.

Yelp
Wilma & Frieda is located on the second floor above Jimmy B's and is accessible via stairs or elevator. You can add your party to the Yelp waitlist if that option is available or in person once you arrive. They won't seat the party until everyone is there so keep that in mind. Based on the raving Yelp reviews, I had high expectations for this restaurant. I ordered the Sky's The Limit with an upgrade for their speciality blackberry custard French toast. The items I enjoyed the most were the scrambled eggs and the bacon. These were both solid breakfast items. I was really looking forward to the home made English muffin and was sad as it was dry and tasteless. I tried my friend's biscuit and that was delicious, flaky and soft. The biscuit is clearly the better option at this establishment. The crisp on the hash brown could have been better as I like my potatoes crispy and not soggy. As for the French toast, I realized custard with French toast is not my thing as the toast was too soggy due to the custard. The other dishes that I was considering were their short rib eggs benedict and churro waffle. Perhaps those dishes would have been more to my liking.

Yelp
The location on the 2nd floor. Food was ok. Chile verde was definitely missing something, just couldn't put my finger on it. The potatoes were delicious. Had a michilada super spicy even though I requested not too spicy. Had to switch it out to a mimosa. Our server was really sweet and very attentive to everything. Overall for brunch 7.5/10

Yelp
The food here is great! Shout out to the home made biscuits and jelly. But the true gem of Wilma and Frieda's is the service. From the friendly host who first greeted me and seated me to the team of servers, everyone is super attentive without being intrusive...a balance that is not easy to strike. Christian, who was my primary server, was especially thoughtful, bringing me my own little pot of coffee in case the cold milk cooled mine down to quickly. Little things count. Breakfast here was the whole package for me. Thank you!
