The Wilshire Grand Center is owned by Korean Airline and has its lagest tenant -
InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown - that is open in June 2017 and treats an InterContinental Ambassador very well.
It honors (1) a complimentary one catagory room upgrade (Picture 2 and 3); (2) one complimentary Evian water that is chilled in a glass in the room upon check in; (3) a $20 credit per stay and redeemable at any food & beverage outlet or mini bar; and (4) a complementary in room internet accees for the stay; and (5) a 4:00 p.m. late check-out.
I had a simple lunch at Dekkadance on floor 69 (Picture ) where you can view the $1 billion Oceanwide Plaza that is under construction by a Chinese giant skyscraper builder (Oceanside) in downtown Los Angeles. This landmark project will be complete by the end of 2020, where a Park Hyatt will be one of the tenant there.
It is worth mentioning that the Club Lounge at the InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown is still the best. The entrance fee at $80.00 for two is well worth it, including all Sprites, Chadon Champion, Cognac (VSOP), breakfast, afternoon tea and happy hours etc. A quick glance of foods & drinks are displayed at picture 6 to 9.
It is no wonder the InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown is rated as one of the Best Hotels by the U.S. News & World Reports 2019.
In summer, this hotel honors and treats the InterContinental Ambassador very well. It is a good place for a weekend retreat.
