"The market takes place in a school playground, with plenty of room for kids to explore each Saturday. Local farmers sell a great variety of fresh and organic vegetables, fish, free-range meat, artisan cheese, fruit juices, yogurt, and more."

You better get here early because by 11am there was barely anything left! Nice market with everything you need from bread to meats, vegetables to cakes. Prices are outrageously expensive, between two and four times higher than supermarket prices. Cute to see, walk around and maybe buy a couple of things. Definitely not an alternative to your local Waitrose.

Food is delicious. I come here whenever I visit my family. They were really nice to me in my wheelchair and put everything in my rucksack for me. I especially have to buy the drinks in the photo. I can't get anything anywhere like these delicious drinks so a must buy when I come to London.

A lovely little haven for fresh finds! From juicy strawberries and a delightful variety of fresh yogurts to homemade cakes, the freshest vegetables, and beautiful flowers and plants — the Farmers Market has it all. Perfect for anyone who loves quality, local produce with a touch of charm and color.

Cute little farmers market with great coffee and produce. Worth a wander on the weekend. Open ever Saturday in the school yard. Great home baked breads as well!

Saturday is market day! Never miss a day. The Wimbledon market is one of the best. Huge selection of stalls and produce, great quality and a lovely community. Go there three or four times and you’ll be recognised as a local!

A nice little treat to go and visit the market on a Sunday morning. The Ethiopian coffee is some of the best coffee you’ll ever try in your lifetime. The cakes are addictive. You can also have fresh oysters opened up and served up. Great quality ingredients. The flowers by the entrance smell amazing and the customer service is A1.

Yelp
I ended up here by mistake after staying with my friend in Morden. It was early on a Saturday and I have to say that after the night I'd had I was rather reluctant to get out of bed. Well, it turns out it was worth it. This place is dedicated to local Farmers who are growing and raising the produce themselves. After reading 'The Omnivore's Dilemma' by Michael Pollan earlier this year (I recommend this book to anyone who wants to know how the food gets on your table) I have developed a keen interest in buying my food in this way, and it appears so have a lot of other people as these kind of farmer's markets are increasing substantially in popularity. This market is held weekly in the grounds of a local school and has a very good choice of organic vegetables & fish as well as free range meat (chicken, beef, lamb, pork, sausages, bacon). You can also find buffalo mozzarella, fruit juices, cold cuts and yoghurt. The stall holders are very keen to explain how it may have been grown, reared and caught and although it's a little more expensive than your local supermarket the pay-off is taste, quality and ultimately your health.
