The 16 Best Restaurants In Buckhead - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"Whenever your friends hit you with the “I’m so hungry, I wanna order half the menu” moan, take them here and let them prove it. This relaxed Balinese gastropub offers several small and shareable plates at prices that will tempt you to request one of everything. The tasty saté options—from juicy chicken to lamb—are easy finger foods to pass around the table and while entrees like the lightly battered, crispy whole red snapper will be something you’ll covet all for yourself, but with these flavors, it’d be criminal not to share." - demarco williams, nina reeder, juli horsford, jacinta howard

We ate here when they first opened, and it had been years since our last visit; so glad we came back for dinner. We ordered two of their rustafels and the shrimp noodles, and everything was delicious. Their cocktails have really improved since our first visit and are reasonably priced too. We’ll definitely need to make a point to come back more often.

This restaurant is fantastic. On a whim I looked to see if there was any Indonesian food in the city, and there was! It’s one of my favorite types of Asian food, but unfortunately, it is very hard to find, even in a city like San Francisco. Without a lot of competition I did not have overly high expectations, but the restaurant met and exceeded them easily. Taste of Bali is fantastic and my server was one of the co-owners who is incredibly helpful and informative. I opted to get a bunch of small plates instead of a single entrée and they were all excellent. Unfortunately, that meant I didn’t get to try the run. Dang which is one of my favorite. In college I had an Indonesian roommate who used to make something that I really liked. I described it to the owner and he told me he knew what it was, something called foo yung hai, but unfortunately, although he makes it at home, they don’t have it in the restaurant. I wish I lived in Atlanta so I can come here more, but when I come back, I will be back to this restaurant as well.

My first time ever trying Indonesian Food and I was underwhelmed. The flavors were just subtle but I can appreciate them not overly salting their food. I ordered the crispy chicken which included, yellow rice, pickled carrots and cucumbers, seasoned tofu, and coconut soup with potatoes. Surprisingly the Tofu and Chicken were the stars on the plate. Each meal also comes with complimentary crackers with a tomato base sauce on the side. Overall the service was good and the price was affordable I just was not fond of the overall taste with everything. Also note they automatically add gratuity to your bill regardless of your party size and free parking offered.

The food here is excellent! Everything tasted great and the portions were just right. I went with a friend who is from Indonesia and she said it's authentic. While the food was a bit pricey, the staff was very polite and attentive.

First time trying Indonesian Food and it did not disappoint. The parking in the area is complicated and limited. The restaurant was beautiful but the door kept opening which kept cooling the place. The server was super nice and the food came out fairly quickly. The espresso martini was a 1/10, not a well curated cocktail. The smashed potatoes were super bland and lacked flavor. Our entrees on the other hand were absolutely delicious. I loved the Rijsttafel was the best dish to order in order to try the most dishes. The fish curry, shrimp sambal, chicken sate, fried rice and veggie stew were all well seasoned and cooked. I loved it. I highly recommend and checked it off my list to try a new cuisine.

I've heard about this place, so decided to try it today for lunch. The lunch menu is VERY scarce, so we ended up just ordering from the dinner menu. The aesthetics are gorgeousI must say! It was clean and cozy, but a tad chilly today. The service was cool. Our server could've been a little more attentive, but otherwise it was OK. AESTHETIC: 5/5 SERVICE: 4/5 FOOD: 3.5/5 - I had the marinated beef satè, curly corn, and egg and chicken pillows. Everything was seasoned well, but I wasn't a fan of some of the dipping sauce for the items. They cooked my beef well, and I stated medium. The beef tasted better with the sauce though. CONS: I had the Nusa Colada and asked for light ice (3 times) and each time they still gave me a glass full of full, smh. I'm not sure if there may have been a language barrier, but there's no reason why I still received a full glass of ice 3 times when I made it clear LIGHT ICE each time. Also, It was only 2 of us and they charged us a "small party gratuity fee" of $12 on top of our total. I was confused because a "party" is usually considered 5 or more people. **OVERALL: I would recommend trying this place (3.5/5) just be aware, they do charge "small party fees" starting with 2 people. LOL, weird.

The food was amazing! The lamb and chicken satay, the crab, the seafood platter, the potatoes and the cocktails! One was better than the other..

Yelp
I came here early fall to sign some business contracts. I love everything about this restaurant. It's midtown in a corner unit of a plaza. They have their own parking in the back with plenty of space. We placed a reservation on immediately were able to sit when we came. It was a weekday so there wasn't too large of a crowd. Our server was very nice and familiar with the menu was able to walk us through a couple of options. We did a small plate tasting and got several different small plates all of which were good. My personal favorite was the brussels sprouts tempura. I immediately knew I wanted the duck and I am glad I chose it. It was so good and tasty.. Literally everything on the menu will have you wanting to taste it . I will definitely be back because I was not able to get all of my options. I personally like how quiet the restaurant was. It was not too much river we were able to handle our business. Have a couple of drinks. I'm surprised this restaurant has not picked up more traction. I believe I initially saw it on Instagram and I'm very leery about going to Instagram popular restaurants but this is a 10 out of 10 visit. I was pleasantly surprised and happy everything came out high. It came out timely. The food was so good. -

Yelp
I dare say that I know Indonesian food. I grew up with an Indonesian mother and have visited the country on many occasions. So I can be pretty picky... But I must say - WIN Taste of Bali really delivered! I was impressed! We ordered: - Lobster Tempura (A): Delicious! Probably the best dish we tried - Krupuk (A): Takes me back to my childhood! Very good. Krupuk is a shrimp-based deep-fried cracker - Bali Grilled Pork Baby Back Ribs (A-): Very tasty - Chargrilled Tofu Bites (A-): Great consistency and quite flavorful - Chicken Satay - (B+) Not the best I've had, but good satay nonetheless. More peanut sauce would've been ideal - Vegetable Spring Rolls (B): Pretty good - Pork Wontons (B): Pretty good WIN Taste of Bali has a very extensive and intriguing menu. We'll be coming back to try other menu items. Their service was great and their ambiance is inviting. We spent $108.79 for dinner for three (21% tip, water, 1 mocktail, 1 main entrée and 5 or 6 smaller dishes).

Yelp
First time trying this restaurant and for lunch. I was surprised for a Friday they weren't busy at all. Service, cocktail and lunch was all great! I'll definitely come back for dinner.

Yelp
We wanted to explore a new cuisine concept. Thanks to Yelp we found this hidden gem! The DELICIOUS food, OUTSTANDING service, nice decor and the easy front parking was a 10 in our books. We all had a phenomenal experienced (party of 3). We will come back and share this phenomenal restaurant with all of our friends!

Yelp
This place has been on my list for some time now. Set a reservation on a Saturday's. Was no wait. Service seemed to be lacking some. Had the Bali Jitto nice flavorful balanced drink. Main entry I went with RIJSTTAFEL which was really delicious, food temperature was hot with lots of flavor defiantly great small portions. I do wish the ribs were on this rotation. Rum raisin sorbet was good as well. Portion was very small. Also had an incident with the waiter disappearing then coming back and messing our check up charging the wrong person. Apology was made. And moved on. Will definitely come back!!!!

Yelp
My husband and I recently tried WIN Bali in Atlanta after he booked a reservation to try something different--especially since we've been thinking about going to Bali. First off, note to management: your marketing and location visibility could use some improvement, as Google Maps and Waze didn't have the address! Once we got past the quirky decor and settled in, we enjoyed a peaceful and quiet atmosphere with quick service and reasonable prices. The complimentary Krupuk (crispy crackers with a tasty dipping sauce) was a fun start. The vegetable spring rolls were well-cooked and flavorful. For my main, I ordered the grilled shrimp. The shrimp had great flavor but was quite overcooked. The accompanying salad was a bit too sugary, but the rice was fine. I was still hungry, so I ordered a large side of vegetables & fried potatoes, which were both delicious & came out quickly. My husband went with the ribs, which appear on the menu as "the best in town." He loved them, especially with the fried Brussels sprouts and BBQ sauce (which I found a bit molasses-heavy). He wasn't a fan of the pickled veggies, though. We skipped cocktails since they sounded overly sweet, but the beer and Sauvignon Blanc were solid. Overall, service was great--our server was an attentive, sweet older gentleman. Despite the decor, it's a solid spot for a casual meal with some flavorful dishes. Rating: 3.5

Yelp
It's so hard to find good Indonesian food. There's usually very few that exist, and then often, they are just lacking in the flavor and execution that makes it so special. I was so happy to come across this restaurant while visiting atlanta. First of all the prices are really affordable for the food they give you. These days, that's hard to find. We got a lot of items to try, and overall, I really enjoyed my meal, although there were a few things that could use improvement. One thing to note is they dont alter anything on the menu... like at all. Im allergic to pineapple and had wanted one of their drinks and asked if they could sub something I knew they had for the pineapple, and they would not. I got their lychee ice tea instead, which had no lychee fruit like the pics I saw, but was also crazy sweet, like sweet tea sweet. Indonesian drinks usually dont run that sweet, so im guessing they adjusted to suit the region. I would say the two other items that I was not the biggest fan of were the scallops. They were just a bit bland. Also, the spiced creme brule. It was overly eggy, and the spices were too harsh and not balanced. Now, onto the good. The lamb and chicken satay were freaking amazing. Great flavor and char, perfectly cooked. Beef rendeng was full of flavor and amazingly tender. Coconut crepes were filled just right, and thst Coconut ice cream was light and creamy. Those three items were so good, and their price point so reasonable, that despite their faults, Im still giving it a 5. It's more like a 4.5, but I'll round up.

Yelp
Amazing! What went well? Everything!!! My husband and I stopped in for lunch today and what a great experience from start to finish! Gotta start with the staff: Everyone was super friendly and helped us select great choices for our first time there. I love the ambiance! Pretty decor, good music, nice seating options. The lady's restroom is clean and styled. It's also spacious which is a bonus. Now to the food... We enjoyed absolutely everything we tried so I'm going to list our top three. My husband's favorite was the Beef Rendang and mine was the Chargrilled Tofu Bites but we both agree the Shrimp Sambal was a strong contender. 2nd place for both of us would be the Lamb Sate. Coming in 3rd, my husband (who doesn't like tofu) actually said the Chargrilled Tofu (that's saying a lot!) and mine is the Braised Pork. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely be back. If you haven't checked this place out, you should!

Yelp
Wow, this place is WINning! I had never had Indonesian food and was so impressed by how delicious this meal was! I got one of the sampler platters and left absolutely stuffed. Everything was SO tasty (I especially loved the pork and the fish) and it was a very complete meal, from salad and soup to a satay appetizer to several mains and rice dishes. I also thoroughly enjoyed my cocktail. Service was attentive and our server was so kind and friendly. Can't wait to return.

Yelp
WIN - Taste of Bali is a unique experience offering authentic Indonesian meals in an inviting atmosphere. We went here with a group of 10+ and they accommodated us very well. Staff was kind, attentive, and made sure to offer recommendations and explain to us everything that was unclear. As I had recently returned from a trip to Bali, I had a good frame of reference as to what the food should be like. For myself and the other individuals in the party, the verdict was a resounding "This food is so good." Shockingly, the item I would avoid ordering is Nasi Goreng (Indonesian Fried Rice). While it's their national dish, I was surprised as to how bland it was. There's more than enough options for Vegetarians - Satay Skewers using mushrooms instead, plenty of sauces, etc. For an appetizer, you get shrimp crackers with an accompaniment of dip. The crispy corn fritters are delicious as well. Other members of the party got Beef Randang, Lobster Mie Goreng, etc. Nobody had a bad experience and they even did something for the birthday boy! Drinks are top notch as well and most importantly of all, THERE'S FREE PARKING. There's a parking garage that goes below the restaurant where they allow parking for free. WIN - Taste of Bali is a rare gem that I hope you try out sometime soon.

Yelp
Overall a decent place. Food was outstanding. The tofu small plate was amazing and the seafood platter was also spot on. Service was above average. Beer selection was terrible. Only had one decent beer on the menu (creature comfort) but they didn't have any on hand. What got me was the "Small Party Gratuity" automatically added to the bill. WTH? I've seen auto gratuity for parties over 6 but now also for small parties? I generally tip well but I prefer it to be my decision. Seems underhanded and silly.

Yelp
WIN has been on my list for a few years now. I was finally able to stop by to try it! There is limited parking in the front, and you must park in the garage below. It's a little challenging to get in and out of this restaurant. There are few options for Indonesian Food in Atlanta, so I am always excited to try. This is a more modern take on Indonesian Food. The service is great and the ambiance is perfect for date night. My favorite is the lamb skewers. They are truly delicious! Other things to mention would be dessert. Fantastic!

Yelp
So delicious, menu is enormous. I would definitely return again Great place for casual lunch, family style is recommended to try lots of things Gave complimentary birthday ice cream Beachy, casual hotel ambience

Yelp
I really enjoyed WIN. Had a reservation for 2 for Saturday dinner (made the reservation about 2hrs before). It wasn't crowded so we would have been fine without one. Staff was friendly, place is casual cute I'd say. I ordered the Rijsttafel which is a tasting platter where you get to try a lot of different foods. I really enjoyed it and would have a hard time choosing only 1 dish next time. Parking: free parking in small garage under the restaurant.

Yelp
Amazing food! We walked in Monday evening almost close to closing time, but they accomodated and greeted us really well. We ordered alcoholic and alcohol zero drinks, must agree alcoholic were the best. Coming to food, I'm still obsessing over their jackfruit curry - so damn delicious. Every dish in their rijsttafel tasted yum and the quantity should be enough for two (we ordered plant based rijsttafel). We loved the lamb chops as well (they recommended to have medium done lamb chops over well done as well done might be too hot to savor and as the food cools down the lamb chops might get harder to eat, we couldn't thank enough for the tip). We also ordered grilled chicken which tasted just ok (wouldn't recommend). Overall a fun experience to try a new cuisine and the ambiance is so clean and calm.
google avatar

Morgan V.

Yelp
Hold up, there's a new soup in town! Seriously, the mushroom and noodle soup is going to be a new fave. It's so flavorful, I didn't even know if I should add the squeezed lime. And the mushroom pieces are so big! It's also not overdone with garlic; it's just right. We also ordered the beef sate and chicken sate. The meats were solid, but the real shining stars were the sauces. Each bite had me coming back for more. The yellow coconut rice was an excellent addition to our meat for the night. Sadly, we did not find the duck or the corn ribs to be especially interesting. But, next time we have several other dishes we would like to try! Such a delicious and unexpected meal.

Yelp
It's a cute unassuming spot. Service was prompt and the food was flavorful without being overbearing. I would come again. Try the skewers!

Yelp
Been meaning to check this place out for a while and came during lunch time on a weekday. Very large space but we were the only people there during lunch. I can imagine this place gets pretty packed during the evening or weekend. Their menu is super extensive, almost overwhelmingly extensive. The menu is literally a book and it's separated in categories but all that information was a lot for me to take in at once. I will say there's plenty of shareable options so this place is definitely large group friendly. Coming back, I think I'd invite a lot of friends and there share plenty of appetizers. I opted to order the braised pork plate and it was decent. Nothing overly extensive and I do wish it was seasoned more but it was nice. For $15 I think it was filling and a good portion.

Yelp
We have been here twice and both times were amazing. Very friendly staff, and the Rijsttafel (Rice Table) is delicious. Very flavorful, comes with a lot of food and in my opinion a good price. Our Teens loved it too. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Food, Service, Ambiance were all pleasant. Felt welcomed and the Drinks were good. Impeccable representation of Balinese Food and Culture. Worth giving a try and opening up your food palette.

Yelp
Hidden gem on peachtree road. We live in the neighborhood and love coming to this spot. The beef rendang is amazing! Definitely deserves to be a top neighborhood restaurant. All their servers are fantastic

Yelp
Indonesian food at its finest! The food came out looking just like whats in the menu. The service was exceptional and the ambiance of the the restaurant is casual but refined with a culturally authentic decor. Highly recommend the cuisine found here.

Yelp
We went for lunch on a Thursday and it was pretty quiet. Service was good, she provided her opinions on some of the items we were deciding on, which we really appreciated. we ordered the crispy fried chicken plate and the shrimp noodle meal. the chicken wasn't very flavorful however coupled with the pickled vegetables it worked. the noodles were really flavorful and even more so with the pickled veggies. the soup was really delicious. there are so many items on the menu that i really want to try so i will be back! the drinks were a bit sweet for me, but still tasty.
google avatar

JaPeera E.

Yelp
Menu is expansive and everything I tried is amazing. Prices are great and the service is great. You can spend 200 here and feel like you had a feast and def leave with leftovers. Some favorites: Peking duck, lamb, chicken, and beef sates, crispy chicken. So much to choose from and you won't be disappointed. Lowkey date night spot or just for fun and the drinks are cheap ($11). A true Atlanta gem in Buckhead.

Yelp
A beautiful restaurant with absolutely wonderful food and attentive service. We have been going to WIN for a number of years and have always enjoyed our experience and meals. Over the years the menu has changed but the quality of the food has remained consistently high, delicious, and interesting. They offer wonderful coffees and delicious drinks, the Kuno Fashioned being a must try!

Yelp
Idk...maybe I came on an off night or at the wrong time. Wanted to try this restaurant based on reviews. Reservation were easy to get and parking is free located in a parking garage behind the restaurant. I visited in July of 2023 around 8pm, which was 2 hours before closing so I'll give them grace. The presentation of the food was cute. The food was quick to come out. The restaurant itself is super cute. However, the three stars are for the food. The food lacked seasoning!!! Literally none of our dishes had seasoning and we ordered a lot. I was surprised based on the rave reviews. I may give it another try and go earlier during the day.

Yelp
This was an amazing experience finally back from a 1 month travel and I was so pleased to have my first meal at this place cute friend date for lunch . The food was amazing , and great service.
google avatar

Heru S.

Yelp
Service and Ambiance were SUPER! Foods were cooked properly and delicious, can't complaint but I can't give 5 stars since the rendang although it tastes excellent but it was a big disappointment. The Beef Rendang has NO BEEF and was replaced with Jack fruits!!!. If the menu list Beef Rendang I should have been served Beef Rendang instead of Jack Fruits rendang. On top of that the serving size was so ridiculously small for the price. It's typical Indonesian restaurant. Will not come back

Yelp
Service & food was great especially for the price. Parking downstairs. Restaurant is clean and neat. Our server was quick. We had a party of 12 but they are great for 1-5 guest. There was a room for private dining.

Yelp
I went here for the first time today, and I really liked this place! There were plenty of reservations available, we probably didn't need one but we made one anyway. When we walked in, we were greeted immediately. It was a nice quiet ambience, and I really liked the decorations. They had a very extensive menu, and I appreciated that the menu had pictures . I am only taking off one star because I ordered the curry chicken and I wasn't really a fan of the chicken itself, but the curry that it was in was delicious. I also really like that it came with a variety of sides, including tofu, vegetables, and potatoes, along with a vegetable stew. The service was amazing and we were checked on several times. I thought the prices are very reasonable too. Also, the parking situation was pretty easy. They have a deck in the back and I believe it is free.

Yelp
The food is absolutely amazing! In short: Great food. Good service. Free parking in the lower level of the garage behind the restaurant. The rundown: I came here with friends for a little pre-Bali taste test, and I'm so glad we did. I really enjoyed everything we ordered. The food was filling, yet really light. Sate Tasting - We ordered chicken, beef, and lamb. All of these were good and came with different sauces. The standout the was lamb skewer. It was well seasoned, cooked to perfection and was one of my top dishes of the night. Sunrise Balinese Fried Noodles - These were fire!! Not sure what type of sauce they hand on the noodles, but it was good. This was definitely the standout dish for everyone. Beef Rendang Rice Plate - This is a balanced plate with flavors that compliment each other well. It was beef that had a slight coconut curry flavor, served with yellow coconut rice, veggie broth and fresh veggies. If you're looking for a balanced/full meal, this is your go to! Small Plate Sampler - We went with Curly Corn, Pork Wontons, and vegetable spring rolls. This came served with a few sauces, which were delicious with the pork wontons. WIN also has a pretty good drink menu.... Coffee, tea, cocktails, mocktails, you name it, they have it. Atmosphere: It's a casual, relaxed vibe. I love how the booths along the wall have curtains between them which made it seem a little more intimate. If you're on that side, it's easy to forget about everyone else in the restaurant. The decor is also kind of cute. There's greenery hanging from the ceiling, which compliments the bamboo chandeliers. There music was soft/lowkey, but they had a good playlist going. Overall: If the food in Indonesia is anything like what we had tonight, real treat.... And if not, I'll be back soon get get my fix.

Yelp
I had wanted to check out WIN - Taste of Bali for some time, as I hadn't been to an Indonesian restaurant in many years and I possess fond, but fairly distant memories of eating Indonesian food several times in Amsterdam. I also went to Malaysia many years ago and the cuisines are not so different. My favorite dish, as a vegetarian, was the Plant Based Rendang Rice Plate, where the braised jackfruit in a coconut cream sauce tastes meaty. I also liked the Crispy Corn Fritters appetizer and the middle, slightly spicy sauce was, to me, the best of the three. I recall Indonesian food being spicier than the food at WIN, but I understand the need to appeal to a wide swatch of Atlantans, who may or may not be used to spicy food, though Southern cuisine is supposedly spicy. Overall, though, of the many things we ordered, at least one or two should have had a little more kick.

Yelp
For my best friend birthday, I wanted us to sample a few different cuisine . In essence a mini food tour . To start, we dined at Taste of Bali which was an excellent choice. We ordered a few appetizers to share since we were only there for a short period of time. The ambiance of the restaurant reflects the culture of Bali with the hospitality of the both the host and server. Overall, the food was delicious and my friend and I enjoyed our dinning experience.

Yelp
Win Taste of Bali is a little slice of paradise. The food is rich, flavorful, and authentic--you can tell everything is made with care. The Nasi Goreng was perfection, and the Rendang melted in my mouth. The staff was warm and welcoming, and the cozy atmosphere made it even better. If you're craving real Indo food, this is the place to go.

My friend and I had dinner here in July 2023, which was delectable. The space is decorated very well with a lovely mural and colorful baskets, and let's not forget all of the hanging plants (sadly not natural). There is a small bar to the left when you enter that you can sit at if you wish, but we sat at one of the dining room tables. WIN is on OpenTable, so feel free to make a reservation as I did. There is a free parking garage behind/under the restaurant. The menu is so extensive, and everything looks so tempting. Each food item is accompanied by a picture which I think makes it really, really, really hard to make decisions. We got there just in time for happy hour, which is, I believe, from 4 to 6:30 pm, so we got a discount on the Bali 75. Once we had made our decisions, we began with a small plate sample, which included three of their appetizers. We chose the corn fritters, the chargrilled tofu bites, and the chicken and egg pillows. Each appetizer came with its little sauce. None of the spices were too spicy or sweet, but they added a lovely flavor to the appetizers. The next thing we ordered was the shrimp Rica Rica which is a popular poly-styled charger on shrimp with a sauce. The last thing we split was the shrimp Sambal rice plate. The shrimp was in our favorite seasoning for the evening with rice piled in the center, some pickled fruits and vegetables, and what we thought were potatoes and a butter sauce that we supposed over the rice and a butter sauce.

Yelp
Had an incredible first experience with Indonesian cuisine! The small plates seafood tasting was a delight, with the soft shell blue crab, fish, and standout scallops stealing the show. Each plate offered a unique flavor journey. The vegan and vegetarian options were a pleasant surprise - the plant-based rijsttafel, especially the jackfruit curry, mushroom skewers, and potato curry, were absolute winners. Dessert was the coconut sorbet which was good, but perhaps next time, we'll explore the crème brûlée or a different sorbet flavor. Service was decent, considering the bustling atmosphere. Overall, a delicious introduction to Indonesian flavors!

Yelp
Located in Buckhead in a small plaza, underneath a condo building. From the main road it's actually easy to miss. Parking is plentiful in a FREE parking garage behind the building. We went around 5:30p on a Monday and there may have been maybe 4 other people in there. Plenty of open seats but the bar was our choice of seating. Our bar tender was really nice and attentive. The drinks were made perfectly and you could taste the alcohol. Now the best part. The food. Man everything was cooked so perfectly. The meat was super tender and that peanut sauce was definitely my favorite. I highly recommend the skewers. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
It has been years since I was in Amsterdam, but that was my introduction to Rijsttafel, so when I read that Win offered it on their menu, I was there in a flash. Rijsttafel is Dutch for rice table which is laid out with a never ending parade of Indonesian delights. Dutch colonists living in Indonesia as a way to sample as many dishes as one could handle in one sitting. I thought about how that could be presented and was quite pleased with their take on Rijsttafel for one. A beautiful interior greeted us and we were promptly seated. My usual Monday lunch companion ordered the duck and I of course wanted the whole left side of the menu. However, what eventually came to the table was the perfect experience of Rijsttafel as I recalled it. It had various delicious sauces for dipping and small crackers which were devine. The small plates had beef rendang, chicken sate, fish curry, veggie stew, gado gado salad and more. Their peanut sauce was so good I wanted to lick the bowl it came in. My recommendation is dine with them often. Their menu has so many options, one can always find more than one dish to choose from. Don't go alone. They have small plates and grand size plates designed to be shared. Nothing was too spicy but each item had a distinctive flavor. This is my go to secret when I want to treat myself to Great food.

Yelp
I haven't been to Bali, but I have developed a fondness for Indonesian food. There's a certain directness to it. For example, the sweet soy sauce they use is basically just the maximum amount of sweet, salty, and umami taste you can dissolve in a solution. This place is quite majestic inside; enough to make you forget you're in part of Atlanta's endless suburbia and not a tropical island. Their menu is quite clear on marking for special dietary needs, and they asked me about wanting shrimp crackers (no) and whether I was okay with coconut ice cream (yes), so they were quite conscientious about this. The grilled pineapple salad I ordered was light and delightful. And rarely does a dish come that tastes exactly the way I imagine it will, but their chargrilled tofu with some of that sweet soy sauce was precisely the flavor I expected. A cinnamon tea (unsweetened, so not quite the taste you imagine with cinnamon) washed things down, and I gave them the benefit of the doubt on some strange-looking green crepe rolls with some coconut-sugar filling which were ultimately quite good. I was happy to find them open and not crowded. I have to imagine there are plenty of times when it is packed.

Yelp
This was going to be a 3 star review but unfortunately I had to lower it to two stars! Good food flavor, nice decor and good service. What went wrong??? Not enough food on the plate. Ordered the crispy chicken plate and it comes with 2 pieces (a drumstick and a thigh).....the thigh was nothing but bone.....no meat. Soup was in a small bowl with 3-4 veggie pieces and barely any salad on the plate. Definitely not worth $13 for one piece of chicken and a cup of rice. Do yourself a favor and don't order the crispy chicken!!! Also the dishes are not very different....they put the same potatoes, salad and soup on all of the entrees. Very limited options!!! After seeing the small amount of food on the chrispy chicken plate I decided not to order anything else besides the sorbet sampler. Total for 3 people.....2 entrees, 2 appetizers, 2 sodas and 2 desserts $94 with the tip included!! When I visit a restaurant for the first time and they cheat with the food portions I don't return for a second visit.

Yelp
Went here for my birthday couple weeks ago and have to say the food was definitely overall delicious. Prices points are very fair and portion sizes are solid. Drinks are really good, the guava coctail which was . Awesome service and menu is big enough where you are bound to find something you'll like.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try to this place for a while and had the chance this paste Saturday. I made reservations for 5 on a Saturday and was surprised to see it semi full so early. Parking is fairly easy but I think it may get a little tough if you come later in the evening. The restaurant is beautifully decorated but there is a strong smell from the nail salon next door. Maybe I have a sensitive nose but it was pretty strong to me. Also, they have a beautiful menu. I appreciate a menu with nice pictures so I have an idea of what the food looks like. Ok, now, to the food. We ordered the sampler platter, the fish tempura, and the lamb kebabs. The food was excellent. At first, I thought it was a lot of food but we ended up finishing all of it. So that is my only gripe, is the portions were a bit smaller than I expected. I also had the lychee iced tea which was really refreshing. I don't drink alcohol but noticed there were a lot of cocktails coming out the bar so I imagine their cocktails are really good. Service was also good as well.

Yelp
We came here for a V-day after I learned that they didn't have a pre-fix menu like every other restaurant, which I absolutely do not care for. They even gifted every lady a rose for the occasion. The place is decently decorated, and the prices are great, especially for the area. I ordered a lychee martini, and it was OK. I'd prefer if they used lychee liquor, not the juice to give it flavor. We then tried some lamb skewers (definitely recommend), and wontons for the apps and "Best ribs in town" and Jimbaran grilled seafood platter for our entrees. Ribs were ok, definitely overstated. The seafood platter disappointingly had fried fish, I wish I knew about that. It kind of ruined the flavor of the rest components. Also, everything was completely covered in sauce :( I doubt I'd go back. The only thing that they have going for them is the prices are not exorbitant.

Yelp
Heard great things about this restaurant. The hubby and I decided to take the 30min drive and try it out. Let's say it did NOT disappoint. The food was so flavorful. Our hostesses Lis was so accommodating. We did not have a reservation, it's highly recommended. However she was able to seat us within a small wait time. If in the area OR not and up for a drive, give them a try. You won't be disappointed. Oh and they have FREE parking, which is rare for that area. Oh one more thing the drinks!!! Man oh man.. on point... one and done on point and I can usually have 2-3 easily lol. So I took a video of all the food we ordered after snapping this two? However I don't usually post here so don't know how to upload the video lol... or it could be the drink

Yelp
This is a beautiful restaurant. Their drinks are great coffee drinks alcoholic drinks, great prices are very well reasonable they're small plates so it's great to share. Literally one of my cousins and I favorite spots to go to for lunch. Their sorbet ice cream is homemade and you can tell. My favorite thing to order is the Ramen noodles, veggie with the egg. Oh my goodness season to perfection and I love the corn fritters.
