Just like any other casino.There are times when the slots are hot and there are times when the slots are dead cold !! But I must say the majority of the staff were incredibly friendly. The food was good and there were plenty of games to play. Have not seen the hotel rooms on the inside yet. But the outside facade of the hotel is lovely and so is the casino itself and the grand lobby. It's definitely worth the trip.

The casino floor is on the small side. The robot cocktail mixers are too complicated to even attempt to use, the free refreshments on the east side of the floor are usually out of service so you have to cross the entire floor to find a diferent one, the bars close too early and only 1 food place stays open late. The EV charging is open only to employees. That ends the gripes. The rest or the place is great. The hotel rooms are insanely gorgeous and modern for the rates they charge. The all-eat-buffet set up with 5 separate eating/restaurants themes and options PLUS a dedicated deserts counter all for $29-40/person depending on lunch/dinner, is something crazy, probably the best deal in the area and even worth a stop off I-80/94 just for the buffet. The machines seem to pay pretty good and this is the very first place I see that displays the house take percentages in the lobby, also surely to needle the competitors, but it’s good to see the transparency. They send and offer TONS of discounts for hotel stays, free plays and food in their rewards app. All around: a very nice place to spend time, have some fun, maybe sleep for a night and you might even win some money :)) Update: Chef Rick at the Alto restaurant on the penthouse floor of the casino is a magician with food and I think he is on the way to the 1st Michelin Star-rated restaurant in the Fabio Viviani offerings. It is THAT good. Worth the trip just for this dining experience.

Awesome casino experience in the Chicagoland area. The vibe of it is more Vegas-style than your typical gambling establishment. At the entrance you're greeted by heavily scented yet pleasant air. The security is there though not intrusive nor interrogating. Once you enter the main floor, you are welcomed by spacious and open floor plan. At first it looks as if the machines are sparse but don't let that fool you, there's plenty of them the more you journey into the casino. Great variety of gaming machines, table games and older slots that are in proper working condition. Chairs are very comfortable and surroundings are clean and well-maintained. I was pleasantly surprised by the soda vending machine with variety of drinks and coffee machine with great tasting coffee, at no additional cost - what a plus, I wish more casinos had that option. Right next door you can enjoy the all-you-can-eat buffet with great tasting food, various cuisines and free drinks. The food was delicious, even better than buffets like Bacchanal and for fraction of their price. Items are more limited but the food and desserts are really great. The hostesses were very pleasant and informative and we will be coming back just to hit up the buffet along with some gambling 😉. The casino staff and management were present and making sure things looked clean and ran smoothly. The only small complaint is that later in the night on Saturday, the bathrooms needed more attention and service, which from my experience, is one of the things that many casinos will pay extra attention to. But I did love the design and hand-free bathroom amenities. Free parking, just a two-minute walk from the main entrance with nicely designed landscape surrounding the area. Very impressed with our first visit, please keep up the great work and we look forward to our next visit!

It was my first visit to their buffet restaurant at the casino. Six of my friends decided to meet there for brunch. Parking wasn't difficult, although there's a garage. The building was beautiful, new construction. We were impressed with the menu items offered at the individual mini restaurants. There were five which included Mexican, Sea Food, Burger Station, Comfort food, and ltalian. There were two desserts stations where milkshakes were also an option. They were prepared with two self serve beverage stations. Our section hostess was Ms. Latin. She was delightful! As a matter of fact, she was actually the best part of our dining experience. We definitely plan to return for another gathering over fresh, delicious food. We did not venture into the casino area on this trip.

Went to the casino for lunch because I saw the big bbq at one of the restaurants the month before. It is buffet style but I love that you order your food and everyone is not breathing over food like your typical buffets. Good job there Wind Creek Casino! There was a burger place, a bbq place, an Italian place, a Mexican place and a seafood place. They were AMAZING! And the deserts were fabulous too! I had the burger and fries, pasta carbonara, chicken leg, kielbasa sausage, Mac and cheese, fish and chips, tiramisu and chocolate tres leches (I love food!). I definitely recommend all of those. I will definitely be going back because I want to try the dinner buffet as it is different from the lunch buffet.

WIndcreek food prices have increased and the food quality has decreased. Last time I visited the Spot the wait in line was ridiculous. 45 mins for a pre packaged Italian beef that was dried out. I should have went to Portillo's. Once I brought it to management attention the supervisor at the Spot made it personal making me feel like my business wasn't appreciated. the next day I was there I skipped the Spot restaurant and went to Shuck it. Shuck it normally is great but that night I had the Shrimp and Linguine dish, I requested it to be creamy and to make sure garlic and butter was added. I was ordering 3 bowls for me and my family $30 x 3. What I arrived home I was given 3 bowls of over cooked shrimp and oily noodles, like they completely ran out of butter, garlic and cream. I have been unsuccessful with getting any resolve with this matter it's been about a month. I have had to call into Customer service 5 times on 5 separate occasions and they designate someone to call you back. but no one never does, (timely) When I was at the casino September 29, 2025. I spoke to an arrogant rude host who never identified hisself as a casino host. Jeffrey, walked up to me from behind while my attention was focused on the supervisor in front of me at the players booth. I had to ask are you a host for him to say yes he claimed he couldn't retrieve any notes on my account. This incident happened less than a month ago in August 30, 2025. I mentioned in detail, that I had previously had spoken to the supervisor by name but he claimed he didn't no know anyone by that name. He then said "let me check one other system." as we turned I told now frustrated I was so frustrated and my next stop was writing a letter he immediately stopped and said, "I was gonna help but you on your own now." I looked at his name page and said ok fine and walked away. I will submit my comment here and to the BBB. Let's see how they quickly they respond now terrible you lose your money to and be subject to sub-par service. Food prices are to expensive not to have your food hot and fresh (made to order). I refuse to take any losses from a business I support.

Love the Big Ass Screens and Sound System in the Sports Bar and the Chairs!!! Very Very Impressed With The New Casino!!! Will Definitely Be Back Will Probaly Book A Room and Stay The Night. Love The Free Coffee Tea Soda Etc.

From the check in to checking out, everything was WONDERFUL!! The young ladies that checked us in was very courteous and professional. The rooms are gorgeous and thick walls to where it is complete silence. Love the pool and hot tub. Haven't tried the spa yet, but that will happen on my next visit. I loved how I could relax and go down to the casino 🎰 and play at anytime. I also enjoyed how u scan your keycard and it knows what floor to take you too. Will definitely be staying again in the near future.

This was a great experience winning at the slots and then buying the $40 AYCE dinner at Food Bazar. The Food Bazar had the following options: Seafood: Shrimp, Rockefeller Oysters, lobster roll, etc. Italian: pizza, spaghetti, etc. BBQ: Ribs, pulled pork, sweet potato mashed, etc. Burgers/Sandwiches: Smash burger, chicken sandwich, Italian beef. Mexican: tacos, elote, pozole, chips salsa/guacamole, etc. Dessert station. I signed up for rewards and got $20 slot play (this was a promotion). I did win on the slots. I'm not a big gambler but came out $260 ahead.

Finally, a new casino that meets every expectation! Listen, most of the new casino's being built these days are missing the mark. Many are short on games that appeal to the masses, others have a smaller floor footprint, most don't have very good service or dining options, and none have a decent sports bar. So you can guess where I'm going with this, Wind Creek has ALL of these things. And they've all been done to perfection. The floor here is enormous with enough gaming to allow all guests the opportunity to play whatever they wish. We did a little craps, some automated single-player craps, video poker and some slots. The sports book here fulfills a wish that every other local casino has missed. A room filled with nice chairs and a wall of sports to watch. This room is a man's dream. And while we didn't eat here, we did peek at the dining options. They have a large area to the left as you walk in with all kinds of options. There's also a Starbucks near the entrance. All in all, Wind Creek easily lives up to the five stars. And I I say that after losing some cash here. : ) Cheers!

This review is actually for the food bazaar, which is the food buffet inside of the casino. When we went there, the lines are really long, but I think that's because of the promotion that the actual casino was running at the time. However, when we did get in everything was very well organized, we were greeted and seated at an open table and was explained how the cards work for the table and the different food stations. when I tell you the food is delicious....BELIEVE ME!!! The staff was very attentive make sure it was kept clean and it was really nice. The only drawback for me was the fact that we got there a little later in the night so it was closer to closing time and some of the different stations didn't have all of the food that was being offered, and they weren't gonna cook anymore .I will definitely go back there again because I didn't get a chance to eat everything that I wanted to eat.

This casino has a promotion going on right now. They gift new members $100, you play and eat within the promotion. We played and then had dinner at the casino buffet. The line for the buffet was LONG but worth it. Everything I tired was good. Except for the smash burger. All of the employees were nice and kept the space very clean. The ambiance was beautiful! I wish I could've ate more but I was full! I will be going back for sure.

Too crowded, no crowd control, parking non-existent, tight slots and a strange buffet. This place doesn't serve the demographic of seniors and the disabled .I had to walk so far from the parking garage. They need more disabled parking .

Service in all areas of this casino was impeccable. Bartending staff were quick and efficient. Security was super friendly and answered all questions we had. The dealers at the table were great and were so helpful when I needed a bit of a reminder in how to bet 3 card poker. Went on a Friday, mid afternoon and while the place was busy, there was still plenty of machines and tables available and didn't feel over crowded. We did the buffet for dinner and all the food was absolutely amazing. I would say that my only concern would be that the food did take a little bit of time. Not like a normal buffet because it was made to order. If the place was a bit busier, I would think the food wait would be a bit annoying. All in all, We will definitely be going back

Ehhh I lost fast and quick! The line for a player's card was wrapped around the building like a line at 6 flags. The atm lines were longer. The ticket machines to retrieve money were all broken you had to stand in the player's line. I won't be back out here for awhile. I may try the restaurants, but that's it. They had a dj and the music and vibe was nice, but they're not giving out any coins, which is why I came here! Byyyyeee

The smell of pot was obnoxious. I had a headache in 30 min. Dealers were super friendly. Bartenders not so much. Slots were boring. Bathrooms were very clean. Line to cash out chips was way too long. This should be separate from the players services. I've gone twice and that's it for me.

Great entertainment hub to the community. It's a great place for non/gamblers as well.

Chicago Player Services is an absolute **** show. it's been hell since 7pm... HOW IS NOTHING BEING DONE TO ADDRESS THIS?? If you plan on coming, don't. After 5 hours of gaming, and checking in on the line, I am leaving WITHOUT A PLAYERS CARD. And will never ever come back or recommend this place to anyone I know. Too bad, nice place new games & all but that was permanently damaging to customer relations in my opinion.

No RT's with money so you have to cash out your tickets in line. Nobody comes over for a handpay literally takes an hour. Machines are tight. Now for the positive ... everyone is friendly when the restaurants open up they will think they're gonna be great music and DJ and people have been pretty cool are only 12 bucks compared to $15+ everywhere else. Bathrooms are crazy clean!

You will stand in line for 45 minutes to pay for food! Just to go to another line for 49 minutes to get seated! But the food is so damn worth the wait!! So good and so fresh!!!

No steak or fish tacos, only chicken. No lobster bisque soup. No Cher burger or onion rings. 45 min wait for a burger and fries. All this experience for $40.

In the back by the tables, there's a great bar to sit at. The bartender's name is Izraim and he has great customer service. He fixed us a Strawberry Lemonade & Don Julio Reprisado! That drink was smooth and delicious!!! Loved It!!!! Please come and visit Izraim at Wind Creek Casino!!!!

Horrible experience 2 hour wait for a players card same for the fast food restaurant to long of a drive go to American place save time and no long lines

We wanted to check out the new casino so we decided to go. After going through the metal detector they pointed us to the area where you get the usual card membership. We were surprised there was no promotional credits or anything for being a first time player in the casino. Also the folks at the counter were all business ... no smile , no "welcome to Wind Creek" - wow ... . The casino is nice enough -all new machines .... Nothing out of the ordinary. We left after an hour. Probably won't go back. Give it a try but don't expect to be very welcome. Maybe we caught them on a bad day.

Casino is beautiful so very elegant, the staff very friendly and so inviting. Had a great time and definitely would return.

Casino is nice , food court could use some help .. cold food, minimal portions, fake seafood , .. how Fabian can let them use his name is beyond me ... however the customer service at the food court beyond amazing!!

The casino is nice and very well put together. The sports bar near the entrance is a rip off. If you visit the sports bar, take cash. I went to the sports bar on December 26, 2024 to watch the Bears game. My experience was not a good one. See details: (1) Upon arrival I inquired as to whether I could run a tab or pay for my drink every time I order. The bartender, Yolanda said "we don't run tabs, but since it's you I'll run one." I handed her my card. Halfway through my drink I received a text message notifying me of a charge for $102.00. I've never had an old fashion at that price. I brought it to Yoland's attention and she was very apologetic. She acknowledged the "mistake" and said she called a manager to issue a refund. I observed the manager at the register, so I carried on. Yolanda approached me and said "it had been taken care of. I should see a refund withing 3 to 5 business days." RED FLAG-any activity on my card is sent via text message right away. There was nothing showing an attempt to refund my money. (2) On 1/2/25 I went to the sports bar to speak with a manager. The manager, Rico listened to the situation. Another bartender asked to chime in. She explained that "Yolanda made a mistake and closed the wrong tab." She went further to debate with me regarding whether it was a Sunday or Thursday when I was there. Rico googled the last time the Bears played and said, "he remembers because he issued the refund himself." I explained that there has been no activity regarding any refund via my bank. The bartender chimed in again asking " is the charge pending or has it been taken out." I explained that it was taken out. Rico talked about the holidays being a possible delay. I was told to come back the next week if my money wasn't refunded. (3) On 12/26/24 not only was I fraudulently charged $102.00, but a $5.00 tip was added, and I was charged a second time for my actual drinks. (4) No manager spoke with me on 12/26/24; no refund has been issued to date; I was given the runaround to come back a second time.

I have gambled for over thirty years at the casino, I have never been treated badly until today. I place a dollar in a slot machince. I wanted to play it after getting my players card, this is my first time at a wind creek casino. place one dollar in the slot machine got in line to get my players card (it took over and hour in line to get the card) come back to the machine my money is gone. asked the lady I asked to watch my machine what happen she said an employee took it. I called for management they added insult to injury. This is not a place that thinks anything of the customer!

Been there twice, won't be returning. Casino is clean and comfortable, with a good variety of slots. But i was never able to get on a blackjack table, there are not enough table game positions. I've been going to casinos for a long time and these slots are too tight to play. Good luck staying in business.

place is beautiful, staff polite, professional and friendly. But,need to check the workers in the Spot! observe staff cooking food with hair hanging over the grill, person who waited on me had a glove on one hand and used a inwash hand to pull glove on, CONTAMINATION! Won't be eating in there anymore!

Izraim is the absolute best bartender that this establishment has to offer! The strawberry lemonade with tequila is highly recommended and my personal favorite. The bar I went to is located in the rear, near the tables.

theses ppl show favoritis to anyone that isn't blk. 1st. they let a wht man buy in at the poker table with more then the max buy in. then they let a Chinese man acuse me of taking money off the table, when he wasnt even at the table half the time because he was going in and out playing something called bacara. but I tell the dealer rewind the camera, the why man with all the chips won my money I had, even another chin man tried to tell them but they kept over talking him, think he was mad cause I was about to change tables. but they kicked me out after I lost a thousand dollars. I felt insulted just for them accusing me of some bullshit and told them f*@# him and her they hollering at me making a scene like I'm bum. I advise ppl not go to this place save yo money and seek counseling before you give it away to ppl that don't even respect you enough to defuse a dumb azz accusation! this was last night in the poker room

No player rewards or incentives. Machined are the tightest I've ever encountered. Long lines for cashier. Pluses: Decor is nice. And areas are clean.

we came to the casino to celebrate a milestone Birthday for our cousin with family. we had an exceptional experience! specifically the Food Bazaar. the chef and staff were amazing. so attentive and helpful. I was overwhelmed by the food and service! start to finish creating a memorable moment for each of us in our party! the variety and style of food offerings satisfied each of us and we found ourselves recommending food we tried to others at the table. this style of dining blows buffet out of the water. it was smaller plates of delicious foods prepared to order for each of us! great food, friendly staff, leadership that takes pride, and memorable time for all of us! a must try!!

For only being open three days, these were the tightest machines I've ever played on. The overhead music combined with the live band was FAR too loud. You couldn't even hear your own machine in front of you.

WORST CASINO/RESTAURANT STAFF in the Chicagoland/Michigan area. It took 5 attempts for the player center to issue me a functioning player's card. There was a manager in the player center just staring off into space while her subordinate couldn't figure out how to enter my birthdate into the system correctly. You'll hear the staff cursing loudly in conversation as they walk past you. I went to a restaurant in the casino called The Spot for a quick bite to eat; It took them TWO HOURS to make four chicken tenders (not four orders of tenders four tenders) and a double cheeseburger. They gave me a donut as compensation. The food and that donut was actually good. Wind Creek's casino floor is huge, there's only one level but the space is filled with the same slot machines. There are TONS of Quick Hit, Buffalo, Huff and Puff, Keno and arm operated slot machines. Unfortunately, there weren't many classic non arm operated slots. No White Orchid, Brazil or classic Timber Wolf. The funny thing is 2 out of 3 my companions and myself won but that staff is awful. I'll return to spend my free play money and that'll probably be my last trip to Wind Creek.
