Windhoek Boutique Resort Bonaire

I spent the past week at Windhoek and have absolutely nothing but incredible things to say. Its spa like energy and manicured greens are the epitome of an oasis. It’s the perfect place to stay for a zen vacation to truly relax and recharge. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The villas are beyond clean and the kitchens have everything one could need. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Bonaire, you don’t need to look any further! Truly a 10/10 experience. I will be back!

I was planning a trip to Bonaire with my 16 year old daughter and wanted to stay away from a large, all-inclusive resort. Of course I was searching for something safe and close to the beach. I also wanted the option to prepare food on our own as we did not wish to eat every meal out. Windhoek is the resort of my dreams. An oasis away from the center of town, this haven of relaxation was our home for a week on the island. The pool is pristine with an outdoor shower, comfy beach loungers and plenty of shady areas. There is a central kitchen and a stocked refrigerator with sodas/beer for purchase along with water and ice to fill your water bottle for the day and bring one of their coolers to the beach with you.|Our villa had an open air living/dining area with the most comfortable hammock. The kitchenette is stocked with exactly the appliances and dishes you could need along with a magic mix coffee maker with complimentary coffee pods. The bedroom and bath area is equipped with a/c and a lockable door. The beds and pillows are very comfortable and a mosquito net covers the frame giving a sense of privacy as well as looking beautiful. The shower is large and luxurious with tiled floor and a rain shower head. Styling through the resort is modern and clean. We rented a 4x4 directly at the resort which was easier than dealing with the hassle at the airport. They have several car options available and our Toyota Hilux was the perfect ride to explore the island (I do recommend getting the 4x4 if you want to see the majority of the island).|The owner and staff are super friendly and helpful. Great boutique hotel conveniently located to the best of Bonaire. Staff was welcoming. Enjoyed the intimate setting and layout of the villas.

We had a great stay at Windhoek with our group of four. The staff team are friendly and helpful and the villas meticulously cleaned and well-stocked so making some of our own meals was easy. The pool area is beautiful and often quiet. It’s easy to get around by car from Windhoek, we liked that we could walk to bachelor’s beach to swim and it’s a short drive to Sorobon for windsurfing. We rented right from the resort which was easy. All in all great stay and looking forward to going back to Bonaire soon!

Our stay at Windhoek Bonaire was absolutely perfect. The facilities that are at the resort are simply everything you could wish for. The swimming pool has the perfect temperature, there’s a little shop that has convenient products like sunscreen and mosquito spray and, there’s a self service bar with fresh cold drinks. There are also things that are so good, you didn’t even knew you need it, like an ice cubes machine, cool boxes to take with you on trips and snorkeling gear. All free of charge. Also there’s a pool table, magazines and games you can lend. |Then the apartment. It has everything you could need in an apartment and more! The bed with mosquito net is good, the shower is good, the spacing is great and the kitchen is perfect. In the kitchen you have everything you need. Even a dish washer. Also get housekeeping and fresh towels for in the appartement and the beach. |When staying on Bonaire, Windhoek resort is the place to stay!

Second time at Windhoek. Comfy pillows / strong aircon / impressively well equipped kitchen / calm / a pool that deserves its name. Loved the super comfy hammock! From the moment you arrive it feels as if you’d be staying at a friends house. From the design to the mattress to the very warm welcome… we absolutely love it here (again)

Very quiet and cozy place, accurate in the details of the villas, comfortable bed and beautiful bathroom . designed in African style, plenty of flowers and palm as around an infinity pool you can enjoy all day long. We had a lovely experience, went back from kiting every day for lunch and relax.

What a beautiful resort! The villas are well equipped, although the air doesn’t keep up with the heat. I liked that the kitchenette was separate from the room as it kept our room cooler. We shopped at the local grocery store and got some essentials. Perfect space and had all needed accessories. Mayerling and Mafalda were amazing and extremely attentive. They made our stay all the more enjoyable. The villas have wonderful privacy with simple access to the pool. Beautiful pool with chairs and umbrellas. Be sure to take advantage of the car rental on site. You need a car to get around. It was extremely reasonable and there is really no way to catch cabs nearby. We highly recommend this resort for your stay in Bonaire! BTW, take advantage of the honor bar. It has beer and sodas. You write on a sheet what you use. Be sure to bring Bug Spray!! Mosquitoes and sand flies are vicious.
