What a weird place!
I came here to see a friend's band, and did not know what was going on when we got there. The front is dive bar through and through. It seems from some other reviews that they have new ownership and kept a lot of the old decor, which makes sense. There's no taps, but a decent selection of bottles and cans, all competitively priced. The music being played, however, was SO LOUD. Holy crap, it was so loud. I felt like when I was in the back room listening to the live music, that the volume back there was better somehow. It was impossible to hear my friends, let alone myself think. The back room is where they host live music. It's pretty shabby, but kind of adds to the charm. They sell coozies that pretty much sum up the Windjammer, and I'm disappointed that I forgot to buy one before heading home: "We only LOOK like we're cash-only."
