I have been a builder and contractor for 25 years and have dealt with all kinds of vendors but none were as professional and as knowledgable as Window n Things representatives, especially Alicja Bautista. She was always one step ahead of me towards the design and practicality of each brand that they carry. I just want to thank Alicja and the whole Window N Things team for being such a reliable source and puts my mind at ease when making window and doors purchases.

Setareh Lari has been providing the excellent customer services for our any request after installed the Weather Shield’s windows and doors which had been arranged by Windows N’ Things. Setareh Lari had also arranged the excellent Windows Crafters team to adjusted, lubricated, even to replace a new model of panel for our bi-folding door ! Job well done by Setareh !

I’ve worked with Alicja at Windows N Things on several projects, and she’s been amazing every time. Always there when you need her, super helpful, and a real pleasure to work with. Couldn’t recommend her enough.

Windows N things made if right, gave us beautiful energy efficient sliding glass doors with the best customer service, more than we could have asked for. Had some windows and doors put in, and they professed stellar follow up customer service should the need arise. One of the installed doors has a pergola frame just above it. Instead of trimming the top piece to fit, they partially detached the pergola frame and tucked the door framing behind, which created a structural issue. Further, they caulked between the pergola frame and doorframe instead of doorframe and outside wall, which is prone to penetration. Weather stripping was incomplete, and lets heat or cold escape. Clean up job was mediocre at best, trash, scraps, and dust left behind. Over time the door sagged and couldn’t close it easily. Called Windows and Things and after initially reaching out for resolution, all of my follow up calls and emails went ignored. So much for stellar customer service….At least Milgard honors their warranties. We hired a new company to install the rest of our windows and doors and they pointed out that one of our windows (that Windows and Things installed) which we thought was a Milgard was not a Milgard, but we paid for a Milgard.

I am a general contractor and and work with a lot of customers quality and service are top priority in order provide my customers with the best most professional work ! Windows and things the best most high quality company I have worked with and I always recommend them to all of my customers.

Windows N Things has been a fantastic resource. I randomly walked in and met ALEC one day, and within 12 months have used him and WnT for 3 different projects including 2 new builds and 1 remodel. After shopping around socal, WnT’s level of service was far superior than the rest and pricing was competitive as well. Have purchased the following brands of both stock and custom windows: EUROLINE, FLEETWOOD, WINDSOR, VELUX and MILGARD. Alec has been amazing in educating me and patiently running different permutations of window options to optimize for aesthetic, function, quality and cost. Have already recommended them to other close friends. Couldn’t be more happy with my experience here!

I spent $100,000 on windows and sliding doors with this company. One of my windows is inoperable. For months there is finger-pointing between the manufacturer of the product they sold me and their service. It’s all smiles and effort to satisfy if there is an invoice involved. I give up. Also, if you’re thinking of Fleetwood, their products are very mediocre and they don’t interact with the customer and instead instruct you to go back to the dealer. No one should have to deal with this much effort to get service. Thumbs way down.

I've ordered Windows and sliding doors for a new construction home, it cost me $150,000, they screwed it up twice delivering the wrong sizes, caused me tremendous delays and unimaginable expenses, and they acted as if they couldn't care less. If you plan to work with this company, I strongly recommend putting clear liability terms in writing from the start to protect yourself from their mistakes. Update: After posting my initial review regarding a very frustrating experience with my window and door order, I received a personal phone call from the CEO. He was professional, kind, and wanted me to hear his side of the story. Avi explained that the first delivery issue was indeed their mistake, he explained that they immediately took full responsibility, rushed the remanufacturing, and quickly sent replacements at their own cost. The second time, however, the sizing problem turned out to be caused by my general contractor's measurement error, it was not their mistake. Avi explained that even though this time around was not their mistake, they went ahead, rushed the manufacturer again ordered the right size windows and redelivered all on their own expense. I was very impressed by Avi's integrity, professionalism, and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction even when the mistake wasn't theirs.

I don't normally write reviews. But I have been working with Alec for about 5 yrs now and he is amazing. Great customer service. When problems arise, he finds a solution and quickly. He's honest, efficient, and effective. I deal with a lot of contractors, and some just can't get it done. I can always count on Alec and the Windows N' Things team.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! Please read the reviews before you do. Many people have left bad reviews and they make you change it to look good on Yelp. We spent $90,000 for Fleetwood new Windows and Sliding doors. After their OWN employee came to the property to take the measurements and the way the sliding doors open, they sent us the WRONG openings for the sliding doors. After refusing them and complaining they did not care to make it right. They also trying to file a lien on our property which is against the law and we will be filing a lawsuit against them. STAY AWAY!!! Trust me. There are Plenty of other Fleetwood dealers in Southern California to go to. Definitely stay away from Windows N Thing. READ their past reviews, seems like they screw over their customers multiple times!!! This has caused so many delays for our construction of our home. We will also be going to Fleetwood corporate to let them know our experience. Buy from another authorized vendors, STAY AWAY from Windows N Things. Fleetwood do the right thing and revoke their license!!

I needed a part for a Fleetwood sliding door at my home. I'm pretty capable at DIY and so instead of calling a door and window contractor, I wanted to do this work myself. I called WNT and even though I'm not a builder, Janeen and Setareh were super helpful on my little parts order. When the parts arrived, there was a piece missing. WNT sorted it out with Fleetwood which sent me the missing piece directly so I could complete my project successfully. Thanks WNT!

Windows N Things has the best customer service I have had in a long time. Not only they gave us a superior quality, energy efficient sliding glass doors but the after sale support made all the difference in the world. We felt taken care of from start to finish. They are professional, reliable, trustworthy and truly the best. I am so happy we found them and they will be our Go-to for years to come.

We all make mistakes. The difference between a reputable vendor and others is how the problem is addressed. Windows 'n Things (WNT) sold us a door made by Fleetwood, (part of a large order), which has a design defect. There is insufficient space between the handle and the door jamb. Fingers get caught and injured. See photos. For months on end WNT advised of all the lengths they're going to to assist and correct the problem. It never was. Effectively, their position was that we should be content not because the problem was fixed, but because they're making efforts. They finally offered a replacement door of a different type. Even assuming that an alternate door would match all the others, there remains the matter of removal of the defective door, installing the replacement, repairing stucco and drywall, and painting. WNT won't deal with that. WNT is under the impression that because they are not the manufacturer of the products they sell they are exempt from liability. Any party involved in a defective product's chain of distribution can be legally responsible if it causes harm. From the manufacturer at the top of the chain, through wholesalers and the retailer at the bottom of the chain. WNT was happy deflecting the problem from themselves to Fleetwood.

Although ordering replacement of two Milgard glass panels was a long process, they stayed on top of things and communicated updates consistently until the whole thing was done. They also provided quality referrals for installers.

I recently purchased a new home and had no idea what type of windows I wanted. I started to research a few places and came across a company called Windows N things. I was introduced to my account manager named Alec. Alec is by far one of the best people I have ever worked with. He showed me multiple options and ideas, came over to my property and made excellent Recommendations. Alec made recommendations based on my needs, he was available at any given time. He showed me at his showroom all the options and brands that are available. I can't remember the last time I had an experience as good as the one I had with Alec at windows N things. I would recommend all my friends and family to Windows N Things without hesitation. If you're looking for new windows and doors, no one will give you a better experience than Alec at windows N things. They set the right expectations, they are very fair with rates and most importantly they are extremely honest. I will say it again, I never have had a better experience with an order as I did with this. At the end of my project, I had successfully received and installed my windows without one problem. We had previously bought doors and windows from Windows N' Things. We needed to replace two old rotting slider doors with French doors, and Alec at Windows N' Things treated my small order as if I were ordering 200 doors and windows for a large apartment building! We had our windows installed by Windows and Things. Several windows were installed incorrectly. The so-called installers actually put drywall screws in the frame of the windows, which voided out the warranty with Milgard! Also, some windows are actually coming out of the wall! Very bad install Dealing with Windows and Things on this issue has been the worst experience. They are so unwilling to rectify this problem and ignore bad installation problems after they get paid. Windows and things are not a reliable or credible company, from the bad and faulty install to the horrible and unacceptable customer service

I have used Window's N Things for 2 of my homes for remodeling and replacinging doors and windows. They provided me with referrals to qualified installers and delivered on time as promised. Recently i had a warranty issue and i was extremely impressed with Adina who handled everything with very little effort on my part. She not only was able to get me reimbursed for the defective part within days of returning the part but also sent me new weatherstripping at no cost. I would definitely recommend using Windows N' Things for all your window and door needs as i have dealt with many other companies and their customer service is top notch and the most responsive i have encountered. DO NOT order anything from this company. They are unreliable and unresponsive. Especially since English is their second language. They promise you something and give something else completely different. Then when you try to return something, they won't take it. They tell you about their "policy" but they don't have any of it in writing. They forced me to take them to small claims court. They absolutely refused to resolve the issue. They keep lying about how they order process went. They said they listen to all the phone calls concerning my order when they never told me that I was being recorded. They would rather waste more time and money going to court. I ordered a custom door from Windows and thongs and they gave me a stock door. I spoke directly with Jose Piceno and he told me to return the stock door and he would then order the custom door. I gave him all of the measurements for the custom door and he told me he would get back to me in 2 days to let me know when the new door would be ready. He never got back to me. I called him every day for 2 weeks. After about 16-17 days he finally called me. He asked me questions about the door rather than giving me the estimate and timeframe. I gave him the answers and he again told me that he would get back to me the next day. I didn't hear anything back from Jose for 3 days. Then he asked me for more measurements. I told him that I gave him all of the exact and detailed measurements when I first ordered the new custom door. He said he lost them. So the next day I canceled the order and asked for a refund. He said it would take a few days for management to go over everything and he would get back to me. I demanded that I speak with his supervisor. I finally did receive a call from someone claiming to be the supervisor. He said his name so fast and unclearly I don't know his name. Also he has a very thick Russian accent. This "supervisor " proceeds to tell me about the company policy and says he will look into it. He calls me back an hour later and says that no one authorized the return (yet they have the door and frame that we returned) and he refused to issue me a refund. Basically, they have the merchandise in perfect new condition and they have my money. They never did place the new order for the custom door because Jose lost the measurements which took him 3 weeks to ask for. I am taking them to small claims court to recover my money since they absolutely refuse to issue the refund.

Working in an Windows & Doors Installation Company and being partnered with Windows N Things, I have had the pleasure of dealing with several different projects of many clients between both companies. Here is what I absolutely know and love about WnT: -They consistently follow up on whatever has been asked of them - Quick and Accurate Quotes -They always want to make sure that the client knows exactly what they are getting and why they are getting it - Clear and Concise Pricing -Whenever I have a challenge of any kind, I can call upon any number of people there, Adina, Nik or Ben to overcome: I have had calls with Adina ensuring that the client gets an issue resolved with a part delivery with Fleetwood after her making 6 service calls to get it done, or her finding the lowest possible price for glass reducing the cost by $1000! Or Nik making several revisions on a quote with another client because he wanted to ensure they got what they wanted, all within budget! When it counts the most, Ben has called me with his experience, professional knowledge and courteous honesty stating a resolution to bring a win-win to the table for all involved. Being in the industry, especially in these uncertain times; it is so good to know that the partnership that we have built with Windows N Things is a solid foundation to which we can ALL COUNT ON!

We have been doing business with this company for years now that is because they are the most affordable and reliable shop in the area, They make it super easy for us to do our job we go in do our measuring and roughly explain to them what we are looking for and they take it from there. We have never been dis-satisfied with this company Highly recommend them for your next project.

Do you know what it's like to be a woman trying to remodel a home? It's awful. It's like going to a used car lot and having everyone speak to you like you are a child. The salesman I dealt with here is sadly no exception. I only needed one window, I spoke with him on the phone about everything I needed but when I got there he only remember the things that complimented him, nothing that was actually useful to me purchasing a window. For a little background, I have done a lot of manufacturing in my career. The process is very similar to remodeling and I've found, after dealing with many sales people, that there are the knowledgeable sales people that listen to your needs and get to the point. Then there are the ones that love to speak over you, don't really listen to you and ultimately don't really know what they're talking about. He was most definitely the latter. Also, he could not read me or how the situation was completely crumbling in front of him and in fact double down on it, asking me at least 5 times if the window measurements were correct. (Since I told him that I took the measurements myself and I couldn't possibly know how to properly measure a F*ing square). It was an epic failure. I did give it 3 stars because ultimately I did get the window on time and it is amazing (love my window Milgard!) but I will never deal with this guy again. All I wanted was a window, Just one. All he had to do was not be a condescending dick head. Read the room buddy, read the room

I'm a general contractor and I recently bought windows for a custom home in Hancock Park. I was referred to Windows and things by a friend of mine who happens to be a big developer. I had them price out Fleetwood windows for my project and obviously as a good consumer I compared prices with two other vendors. I winded up purchasing the windows from them not only because the price was better but mostly because the service was impeccable. I had multiple meetings with the owner of the business (Ben) and felt like all the right questions were being asked. This purchase was for over $100,000 and so it meant that everything had to be looked at and double-checked so that there are no mistakes. The windows came within the promised time frame and I installed them at my customer's house. The windows themselves had a couple of issues and so I contacted windows and things to arrange service, they got on it right away and made sure that Fleetwood will send a crew as soon as possible. I was very pleased with the0 experience and I will probably be a happy customer for a long time.

I met for a consultation with Ben and his willingness to help me understand the process and pick the best product and configuration for my new house is amazing. As a business owner myself, I know how powerful Yelp reviews can be so I think very hard before writing a negative one. I have been trying for ALMOST 3 WEEKS - since my first phone call on 1/17 - to get in touch with someone about working with Fleetwood re the leaks in our house. We are now in the middle of our second rain storm, we still have leaks, and I'm concerned about mold. I've heard every excuse--my message didn't get passed on, the person who deals with repairs was out sick, etc. I've been promised multiple times that I'd get a return phone call by the end of the day only to never hear back. We have a large house and spent an enormous amount of money on these windows and I cannot believe the service I'm (not) receiving. Even the smallest customer shouldn't be treated this way. I've avoided escalating to Fleetwood corporate but today had no choice.

My father hired Windows N tin to replace windows in my house. I am not much into construction and remodeling things , so i let my father do it . They did great job , my house now looks completely different and i like it . Thanks

So I asked them to send a rep to get a rough estimate on how much it would cost. After about 2 hours of consulting, the rep finally gave us the price tag. When I told him another rep from a different company gave me a cheaper estimate, he actually proceeded to say, "you know, it's not nice to lie" he said this in my own house... Such disrespect and very very unprofessional

If you are in need of new or replacement windows, this is the company you want. I called and Assaf was there that night to give us a quote. When we made the decision to use them, he came out with an installer to double check the measurements and ordered our windows. On installation day, they were total professionals and clean. Assaf was there the whole time to make sure I was happy and Ben came out to check on the progress. There was one screen, I didn't notice but Assaf did, that was a little wavy and called the window company to come out and replace because it wasn't to his standards. Great job Assaf and Ben.

I am extremely pleased with the windows and French doors that Windows N Things installed for me. Assaf was extremely patient in explaining the different options. The quote came in quite lower than the quote that I received from Home Depot and from Sears. And when Tony came to install the windows and doors, he was extremely professional and actually left my home cleaner than when he showed up!! . My home looks great, is much quieter and is better insulated. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone

I'm so happy I used this company to install my windows. The windows are beautiful. I installed Milgard windows. The best part of the experience I must say was Mary at the main office. I cannot say enough about her and her communication skills are beyond excellent. I sure do hope the company appreciates her. She even answered my questions after hours! I cannot say enough about Mary! She really knows the meaning of customer service!

Asaf from the company gave us a thorough consult and when we agreed on price he oversaw the project. We replaced 14 windows in our home in April 2013. We couldn't be happier with the Milgard windows. It's saved us from the extreme heat outside and lowered our electricity bills. Very happy customer. They were clean and organized.

Since my last review, I have been contacted by the owner and General Manager, of Windows N Things, Ben Zehavi. He has immediately handled this frustrating situation with professionalism and honesty. On his first of many face to face meetings, he saw the truth of the AAW, INC. door and subsequently posted signs at his business that all representatives will not order doors from AAW, INC. Mr. Zehavi then proceeded to go above and beyond to make my situation better by investigating a very high end business that hand produces their doors. He has chosen to go with this company and has made every effort, of a man of character would, to make this right. I should be receiving my new door soon. Screen came defective from the factory in our door, they worked with manufacturer and replaced free of charge. Prompt and corteous customer service. No pressure sales practices. Excellent communications skills, know how to work with remote clients.

He visited the property multiple times before, during, and after installation to make sure things are going smoothly.
