I've been a long time customer 10+ years. NEVER had a negative experience until recently. Maybe they have a new cook. I always order a side a chicken tenders with one of their sauces that they let marinate in a large plastic container. This order they barely put any sauce in the container so it was like I was eating plain chicken tenders

I had a very frustrating experience with this restaurant that I feel others should be aware of. My order was cancelled because the delivery driver assumed I wasn't going to tip. I had a cash tip ready, but the driver didn't bother to check before making that assumption. Additionally, the security desk at my job doesn't allow food to be left with them, which is why I instructed the driver to leave it there and call me so I could come down to pick it up, as I have done with other deliveries before. Instead of understanding the situation, I was accused of intentionally avoiding a tip. It's disheartening and unprofessional to be treated this way when I made every effort to communicate my instructions clearly. The restaurant seemed more focused on jumping to conclusions than addressing the actual issue. As someone who values professionalism and respect in service, I won't be recommending this place to anyone. The way this was handled was completely unacceptable.

I want to like Windy City so badly bc its so convenient. I love a buffalo chicken ceasar wrap- and its on their menu. I’ve ordered it a few times and keep asking them to not do this. But they keep making a buffalo tender wrap. A handful pieces of lettuce a couple croutons and thats it. No Caesar dressing, and FULL tenders so its a pain in the ass to eat. I tried telling the restaurant directly but clearly they dont care so Im left to leave a review like a karen. Hopefully they see this and change it.

Just had a horrible experience i had to write a review. First, my husband went to pick it up and they were insistent the order wasn’t there. When we showed proof, the rude worker gave him my plate upside down. My dinner was ruined everything was drenched in buffalo sauce.

How are you LOCATED in Dorchester but say you DO NOT Deliver to streets in Dorchester less than 10 min drive from your restaurant location. Then when asked what is your area radius for deliver WON’T SAY WHAT THAT IS. Then hang up on a customer. You said take my business somewhere else WILL DO but not before I leave a review on your nasty customer service. Absolutely unacceptable

Haven't gotten my food yet but I ordered through Uber eats. As it turns out, they do exclusive deliveries for near by addresses and their own staff delivers the food via the app. The one caviat is you can't track the order. I simply called to confirm these details because I've never seen other restaurants do that before and the owner/phone clerk basically cussed me out saying my food would be delivered soon. Horrible customer service

The food has been okay. Its the customer service that really needs to be looked at. The older gentleman that works the cash register cannot multitask. I called for an order, I get there and I am the only one in the store. His cell phone beeped with a text message while he was cashing me out. He stops right in the middle of cashing me out and picks up his phone to respond to a text. I told him I am on my way to work and I am being cashed out. You don't disrespect your customers like that. He needs to be spoken to about trying to do other things while attending to a customer. ITS RUDE. This has happened multiple times. I call it in so that I can just run in and pick it up and keep it moving. If I had time to hang around the store I would of never called it in. People call in their orders so they can just pick it up and go. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL

I love the food but has become seriously over priced. And while the food is good the customer service has been less than ok. I ordered two things, one came completely incorrectly - when I called about it and indicated I didn't mind waiting for the correct one to be made and delivered, the employee made it seem like I shouldn't, and that it would take an extremely long time (even though I had just gotten my order in 20 minutes). As much as I love the pizza, fries, and quesadillas, this is exactly why I don't like to order here.

I ordered for the first time because I was looking for real chicken wings instead of wing dings. I got garlic parm wings and a steak and cheese sub with onions and mushrooms. Everything absolutely screamed for seasoning/salt. SO BLAND! There were barely any onions and peppers on the sub. Lastly their sub rolls are super soft with no chew/pull to them at all. Never again.

If I could do zero stars I would. Food is mediocre. Subs are TERRIBLE. I've ordered a couple of times - never again. What finally inspired me to write the review was that they will not give you more than one sauce without a $1 up charge PER SAUCE even if you order $20+ worth of wings. Customer service was a joke. Guy said "boss won't let me give you more sauce." ... what is the point of having a manager on duty if they just tell you No and refer to a mysterious boss? I've never walked out of a more unprofessional cheapskate operation - save yourself the time and money and go to Puritan across the street, not too much better but at least their food is decent and they'll throw in a sauce!

Placed a large order for work and the wing ding plate's chicken was burned it was dry on the inside and very dark! I called to let them know and the gentleman that answered the phone was very rude, he implied that I couldn't tell if it was burned or not. i Ordered a BBQ Chicken Pizza Calzone and the inside was pink/ raw meat inside. I called and asked for a refund and an employee stated they don't give refunds for food but lately raw food has been their common complain. A employee stated the owners name was Anthony and he worked in weymouth, when I called weymouth they said they don't have a manager or employee named Anthony. Went back to the Dorchester location and I tried to get a new order and they again gave raw food. So upset, I will Never order form here again!!! if I could give a zero star rating if I could.

I've never been so annoyed with ordering food in my life. My sister who doesn't eat meat wanted a cold cut. I ordered online a ham and cheese in the instructions I said no ham cheese and toppings only. When I got there I pulled out my phone to check my order status only to see, they canceled my entire order. When I called to find out why they said they couldn't understand the instructions for the ham and cheese. So I explained I didn't want the meat just a cheese sub with toppings the person on the phone repeated it back to me on the phone then again when I came in to pick up and pay for the second time. All for me to get home to see they made me a sandwich with the ham. When I called back the guy on the phone did not apologize nor had any concern that I could have had a food allergy . At this point I ask for my money back not only do they say they can't refund my card and I have to come back, they also wanted the sandwich back. I get there and they refund my card smh! Terrible customer service. Never eating there again.

Never get a sandwich here... got a turkey ranch club. Bread was stuffed with lettuce and tomato. Watery ranch dressing was overwhelmingly slathered on top of the salad. They spinkled turkey shavings on top of the salad and had the nerve to place a single bacon slice on top of each half. What a miserable excuse for a sub. Don't go there if you're looking for a decent portion. The preparation area is secluded behind a blocking wall, so patrons waiting can not see into the kitchen, red flag right there! And don't expect any smile with your service. The whole place screams, "Close this restaurant" or "Shut me down for health code violations." Never again.

I look at my sub and there was a piece of hair and there was also one in my mouth. It's so gross and I'm not sure if it's hair or pubic hair. I had a friend drop off some of their chicken and a pizza one night and we all really liked it. The customer service is the worst I have ever experienced in my life!!! I'm actually in shock an owner of a business would treat the public like this. Shocked!!!! This is a man on the edge for sure. He doesn't deserve to be doing business in this great neighborhood. A very nasty man!! That has no idea what customer service even means . I tried calling to place a to go order twice and both times the person taking the order was very rude. The second time was the owner which is just sad! The first time I called and had no idea they offered all different options for chicken , that man on the phone was impatient and snapping at me about what I wanted, they have different kinds. I told him I have never ordered before and was unaware , he was hurrying me off the phone saying he was busy. Which by the way when I went to pick up the food not long after the place was empty. I asked him why he was speaking to me like that, and he stopped. I gave the place another try despite that. The second time I ordered it was a very similar tone, except worse. I told him I wanted the sweet and sour but not the spicy option , they had two types (this time I looked at the menu first) he was impatient rude and said why do you mention spicy if you don't want spicy? why are you complicating an order? As the first time I called asked why he was speaking to me like that ? He got more impatient and angry and told me to go somewhere else. Surely this couldn't be an owner of a business. I asked to speak to the owner he hung up on me. I quickly drove down to place to order and to ask to speak to the owner. I wanted the owner to know how his employees are speaking to the public. Only to find out I was speaking to the owner. He was confrontational , the most argumentative person I have ever met. I was so shocked , he wouldn't tell me he was the owner and said it doesn't matter who the owner is. He then started mocking me in front of his employees, like a child would do. I stood there and in disbelief. I have been in the customer service all my life. I have truly have never seen an owner of a business , a grown man at that , treat anyone like this. It's disgusting and how he is still in business is beyond me. No surprise there is a help wanted sign in the window . If he treats the public like this, I can only imagine how he treats his employees. I called the Quincy location to find out his name, and they told me they are unable to give out his name??? Makes sense the man is horrible to people, he doesn't want them to know his name . Easy enough to find on line. The woman on the phone was able to confirm it was him by his description. Her voice got very low and she said I'm so sorry you had to deal with that. I wanted to tell her I'm so sorry you work for someone like that. I have posted one bad review about a business in my whole life . One! because I work with the public I know how challenging it can be. I try to have as much patience with others as I can understanding the pressure of this work. This was intolerable.

been a loyal long time customer, from adams corner to now Morrisey Blvd, and last night was the last time I order from them. my usual is a wrap, a side, and a Caesar salad. I wish I could post a picture of the $13.00 ceasar salad! Container not even 1/2 filled with lettuce!! $13.00!!! Never again! Beware! whoever the owner are are just trying to cash in, portions have gone down hill over the last year, same with food quality. And FYI, always more than 20% for the delivery driver!!! Used to be the best pizza in Dorchester. Since they expanded to Quincy and moved the Dorchester location, it has been awful. They downgraded all ingredients to save money and it shows. The crust used to be amazing, the sauce was perfect, and they put just the right amount of cheese. Now it's stale, flat dough, barely any sauce, and about 6 lbs of low quality cheese per pizza. They also have become incredibly rude and can't get an order right. I was a regular at the Gallivan location for more than 5 years, and now 4 of my last 5 orders were wrong. The last two times I asked (and paid) for pepperoni I got half pepperoni half cheese. I let it slide. I called after getting a cheese piza when ordering (and paying for) pepperoni and mushrooms. All I wanted was the $4 put back on my card for the missed toppings but the owner (or manager) was a condescending prick who refused to do so and was like "no no, you want to eat some pepperoni, I'll send you some pepperoni" and sent the poor delivery guy out to give me a small pepperoni I didn't want. Such a disappointment. This place should be a case study for how to ruin a great business. I feel the worst for the delivery guys, they are good dudes and I hope they find better gigs. They will have to soon anyways, word has spread and it won't be long before the place goes bankrupt.

So today 1pm may 29, 2020 I called windy city and to my surprise the owner picked up so I begin to placed my order and this man already started rushing me telling me to hurry up. I couldn't even get a word in to say anything I asked what's his issue. He then said just make ur order I told him I have questions before I order just like any one else . He said in a rude tone and voice hurry up I have calls coming in . I then told him listen sir I am not going to be talked to like that or rushed . I dont appreciate the attitude even after I been a Customer of theres FOR YEARS. His response fuck you guy and I'm placing you on the not to deliver address list. Hmmm IDK IF ITS because he had a bad day or what but I will let everyone one know about this man and how he treats ppl.. un acceptable very rude and disrespectful. What's sad is I come to know the other ppl in the business and there great BUT the owner he needs a lesson in management and customer service.

This is my second time ordering from this establishment and both times the food was mediocre. First time, placed my order online and when i went to pick it up, the order was never made so i had to wait.. ok, let that go. In that order, i ordered a steak and cheese with lettuce, Mayo and ketchup. Get home, full of tomatoes only.. Order again tonight, giving this place a second chance and they didn't fail to disappoint again. Placed an online order again, pizza, tenders and a tender dinner with honey mustard and paid for an extra sweet and sour sauce. Pick up order and they forgot my pizza, had to go back in to ask for it. Get home, no sweet and sour.. that i paid extra for!! Ask for my pizza well done, dough still raw. Never again..

I have been coming to Windy City my entire life recently over the past few years a lot of weird things happen when you call, people don't know the menu, workers are very rude and they try to tell you things are not on the menu anymore because they don't want to make them ! specifically the chicken stirfry. it's still on the menu to this day and every time I call they freak out and have panic attacks saying It's not on the menu anymore. Getting it is hit or miss some people will do it and some people wont. I am no longer coming here anymore after today's incident the worker told me I'm a liar, and I have not gotten chicken stirfry in the past three years. This place is a joke. I remember when it was in the old location and they did such good quality food and such great service. Now the hire useless workers and now it is terrible

I placed an order online, which was cancelled. When I called to ask why. The gentleman(being nice with my words) who answered blatantly told me "there's a note stating if you do not tip no order" As I proceeded to ask if I could tip upon arrival with cash, he continues to go on that his driver's are independent contractors that live off there tips to pay for gas so if you are not going to tip no services and said if you want to place your order again and tip then you will get services. It was like he was scolding me for not tipping basically arguing with me not answering my question do you accept cash upon arrival? Was never answer because said gentleman insisted he needed to give me a morality on tipping. I did hang up not before I said a not so nice word. I did not tip on the app 1. There's a delivery fee 2. When were we not able to tip upon arrival with cash? Is it rule across the company, I get it gas prices are extremely high just because someone does not tip on the app what makes you think or assume the driver will not be tip at all? If that is there policy it should say that upon ordering online before an order is cancelled via email when last you knew it was being prepared and on the way. Will not be ordering from their app again, if anything will just go into the establishment

If I could give this place no stars I totally would! I ordered here today which is July 4th because not many places are open. When ordering, the person stated it would be 1 hour before they can deliver. I said not a problem, however it took exactly 2 hours..... I was just about to call and cancel when I got the call he was outside. I was definitely aggravated by the 1 hour delay but was like what ever, its here now but then I open the bag and it doesn't contain my entire order! The delivery guy who smelled alcohol by the way wasn't trying to be helpful at all. So then I call the store and spoke to the owner and let him know my order is 1 hour late and is missing things. He proceeds to yell at me to relax at which point I was relaxed. I said to him you should be more polite since its' your establishments mess up! He started yelling that he begs me to find another restaurant thats open and that he's doing the best he can. Again, he was yelling! He then said send it back and don't order from there again! So at that point I got un-relaxed and told him he's a complete idiot/axx hole and that I would never spend another cent in his or any Windy City Pizza's if my entire life depended on it! That owner is pure trash! We need to stop spending our hard earned money of places like this that don't respect its patrons! I ordered from them a lot but never again! The prices are also CRAZYYYYY! $6 bucks for fries and $16.99 for 10 wings? Really? Never again! The trashy owner proceeded to hang up on me. Cool! His business will eventually suffer as we customers continue to get tired of bad treatment. I will suggest you all give D'Benny's a try! Their chicken is amazing and they are super friendly! They also deliver but just not today due to the holiday! :(

I've had their pizza a few times now and it's pretty decent. I like their crust but the sauce could be better. Honestly it's a pretty solid pizza for the price, not super good but definitely not bad. I've never had any issues with service as many other reviewers have mentioned, although I've only ever ordered for delivery.

We are a business in the area and order out for lunches and meetings frequently. Most of the local restaurants treat us well and appreciate our business. Occasionally there is a complaint with anything, it's customer service. The wrong condiment is added in error, the pizza was too well done; bottom line it happens to all of us in business. We have been refused service at the Dorchester location because of three complaints from our company. REFUSED service, can you imagine?! The complaints were valid as far as I know and our staff wasn't rude, didn't ask for cash return, or anything free each time, simply to correct the error on the food. One complaint was for a salad the gentlemen in our office complained was old and he asked for his money back. (I looked at salad prior to it's return to the store and did note some brown edges to some of the lettuce.) The food isn't that wonderful anyway however, the location is convenient. Everyone, we've changed to Pat's Pizza in Lower Mills, the food is amazing and the people are terrific!! Do yourself a favor and order from there, they deliver!!!!!!

We tried the Windy City Pizza in Weymouth, Ma. Our first time trying this place out. My wife and I got a couple starters, onion rings and mozzarella sticks. We shared a steak and cheese sub, and decided to get a cheese pizza for the kids. I opened the bag of starters and grabbed a mozzarella stick, took a bite and discovered a hair on the mozzarella stick. I had to spit that out, and I was hesitant to try anything else. But we paid for it, so I tried the rest. The rings had no flavor and the pizza was just ok. The steak and cheese was poorly made. I had taken a few bites and got the worst pieces of steak. Chewy and fatty. Horrible. The taste was off. I could not finish any of the food. I actually got to the point where it made me sick. Needless to say I will not be going there again.

Ok so this place need to get better employees to take orders and deal with customers. If you makes wrong order you shouldn't be mad at customer bec it's their fault . Second being disrespectful it's the same if done with face expression or with words ! No wonder your business is always looking for people to work if you don't have any customer service skills and then on top there isn't no manager on site ! It's too bad bec how they say it TV commercial we need to help each other but not for me ! Just one time is enough bec I am a true BELIEVER of first impressions , I can only say that the gentleman who I ask if he was the manager and so real nice and said no I am only the oldest employer here . Is the only nice experience I had today visiting this place for first and last time ! I will NEVER visit them again !

We order from here once a week for the last couple months. Their subs are delicious and have never been disappointed by their food. Delivery always fast, nice to not have to go through Uber eats.

After discovering that i could not place an order without spending a $15 minimum for pick up (I was literally in their parking lot), I decided i would get a cheaper sub and get out. I ordered a $10 Italian sub and the crew tried to hand me less than 3 ounces of meat and the slices of cheese on a dry sub roll. I convinced them that maybe they should have asked if they weren't going to add things like lettuce and tomato. I get that restaurants are hurting during the pandemic, but shorting your customers is no way to try to survive. Spend your money elsewhere.

If i could give zero stars, i would. An employee called me with a very nasty and very harsh attitude complaining that i did not leave my apartment number and that my tip was not significant enough; but I had requested a contactless delievery so figured my apartment number didnt matter if the order was to be left at the door. Secondly, I tip in cash. So i dont understand the need to question my "tipping ethic". i understand this is a frustrating time for everyone but to call my phone to be rude and attitude filled was nonsense. if this person felt so strongly they could have cancelled the order without contacting me and gone about their day. Yet local businesses want the communities support smh

I've been a customer of Windy City for years!! My family and I personally love their Buffalo wings. Today I placed an order for delivery through their app which I normally do and shortly after I received a notification that my order was canceled. I thought it was strange so I called to ask why. I was told that my order was canceled due to the drivers not wanting to deliver because we don't tip. I was confused because I usually tip through the app, which is what I told the lady on the phone. She proceeds to tell me that my order that they canceled did not include a tip. To my surprise she was right and after looking at my history of my orders there have been times that I inadvertently missed putting a tip. I recognize that delivery drivers work for their money and most certainly do my best to tip. The times that I haven't were simply an oversight. I've spent plenty of money at this establishment and my history of purchases show that I do tip. I'm throughly disgusted and will never give another dime to this establishment. I guess the drivers that get PAID to deliver make the rules for this establishment. This calendar year alone I've given them over $400. Never again! I'm appalled by the excuse they gave and the unprofessional approach!

Waited 45 minutes for an average tasting calzone. The marinara sauce was ice cold. They don't even warm it up and pretend they cooked it in house like other places... no! Straight from the fridge to the customer. I'll never eat at this place again. Would give it negative stars if I could.

I did an online order with Windy city on January 16th I picked up my order and when I got home I discovered part of it was missing my wife called and was told when the driver got back he'd deliver it after an hour she called again and was told it was on its way, she asked for a new order but denied t8he person on the stated my order was under a heat lamp and was fine when it arrived an hour and a half after the initial call it was ice cold an inedible I stopped by today 1/20 to talk to the manager and got the owner instead I explained what happened and his response was less than apologetic in fact he started swearing which got me going and after a brief yelling match he told he didn't care it was my fault I didn't open up all the containers to check my order and to get out of his store I've been eating there for 25 years and never been talked to in such a manner not only will I never go there again but I don't recommend anyone to go there and be subjected to such treatment apparently he never learned about customer service and the product he's serving and the health of customers doesn't matter

The wings are bomb! Ask for them well done and they'll be extra crispy. Pizza is usually on point. Chicken quesadilla isn't bad either. Salads are decent but kinda wack. Ordered a buff chicken wrap and wouldn't u think that would come with lettuce, tomato, onion, blue cheese? Nope it was literally buffalo chicken inside a plain wrap. Doesn't make sense. Just being brutally honest.
