First time here today and I'm sad I wasn't blown away. I ordered the chicken strips and when my dad went to order them, they said I was getting the last order and they were trying to get more from the store. Well not everyone likes seafood and the only 2 other entrees were seafood. So my dad ended up only eating an appetizer, and I shared my chicken. The chicken had a good crisp to it, but it tasted store bought, with an uncharge. The ranch tasted like it was from a bottle as well. For such a nice venue, I'd expect more food options that weren't deep fried, and have fresh ranch as well. There is also no salad in sight! I ordered the gorgonzala cheesecake as well, which was tasty and unique. After a few bites I was kind of over it though, it needed just a bit more flavor or more Balsamic. The bread would've been better toasted too. The server who dropped off the cheesecake said that some people order it to go and put it on steak. Why can't steak be served in house, or burgers? I thought they had just opened up because of the limited food menu, but they've been open for several years. I know the focus is wine, but this place would be hopping if the food was kicked up a notch. I won't be back unless I see that they update their food options. It definitely needs to be elevated above a deep fryer. I would of given less stars due to the lack of food options, but service was friendly.
