Best Liquor Store in Astoria!

THIS PLACE IS A SCAM. I don't even want to give them one star if I had an option. I stopped by this store on 4/17/21 at night to buy a liquor and they tried to ripped us off. They charged us triple the amount for a liquor that was actually only $32.60. The cashier charged us $100. We told him not to make/increase the price because we know how much it would come out to, then he gave us nonsense, explaining why it would come out to $100. After we confronted him, he change the price to $32.60. We weren't even drunk, think about all those people who were drunk and paid double, triple the amount. STOP RIPPING OFF PEOPLE. BE HONEST AND BE TRANSPARENT!!!!

Very knowledgeable manager helped us make appropriate selections for dinner. Very impressed with staff's candid knowledge of their stock. This is a boutique store with a well managed and organized cadre of wines. Pleasant staff and good prices. Wish there were more stores like this.

Best customer service, their selections are wonderful. You won't find it strange to wander off for 20 minutes looking for something that'll make you happy!

I walked in the store to buy strawberry tequila they didn't have and were very rude in their response. I was baffled by the rudeness of the owner chatting with her husband about the angel perfume I wore, complaining that a man shouldn't use perfume like it! And I was astonished because seeing art around the store-- gave an impression that the owners were open minded here! Ugh! Never again! The selection was kind of limited for a wine store and the prices were ridiculous compared to nearby stores! I also saw Adriana talking down to a worker as a I was browsing around! (Just to show off like she knew everything!) I've never seen such unprofessional behavior in a wine store!!!

Excellent customer service. Owner was kind, and took the time to show me many different wines. Suggested an Israeli dessert wine called Morad infused with Passion Fruit. This wine was a success at my last party. I highly recommend this store. Parking is difficult, so try to park across the parkway and cross the bridge. Well worth the visit.

This is a very cute wine store with a nice selection and friendly employees. I also like that they always have little chocolates out and decorations up - makes it a lot more pleasant to visit then some of the skeezier places down the road :-)

Love this place! So happy it opened in my neighborhood. Very trendy, but still has a huge selection. They deliver and on top of that stay open until midnight every day except Sunday. My boyfriend and I live close and we love the selection and the hours. Great for when you decide you want wine at 10:30 at night! Haha They also have a great membership program that remembers your orders in their POS system. The staff is really cool and remembers us when we go in. Great place al together. Definitely would recommend.

Ordered once from Minibar app and delivered within 15 mins and was surprised how fast it was. The delivery person was very friendly which is not common. On another occasion I visited the store in person and was greeted by an employee who was chill af and made my transaction easy. I ordered again on minibar tonight and they delivered again in less than 20 min and my roommate ordered as well when she got home and they were super fast and courteous as usual. Highly recommend this place and they negative reviews towards the customer service......well the customer is not always right.

Love this place! The staff (delivery staff included) is so kind, knowledgeable, and appreciative! Whether I walk in to the store or get delivery I am never disappointed, in fact, I always leave feeling happy!

I like they open 10-12. Close to my place. Can grub a bottle on the way to go somewhere or on the way home. Little bit over priced? If you ask, they will give you advise.

By FAR the best liquor store in Astoria, if not all of Queens! The staff is top of the line and the product selection is off the charts. Fantastic service, product and prices! My go to spot for all my wine and spirit needs!

FRIENDLY amazing business! They have a huge selection of products and even have dog treats ;) for our fur babies.... mine have probably taken the majority of them! We both get our "medicine" hehe They also know me by face and have been so generous!

I've always had consistently good service every time I purchase here. They seem to have a really good selection of wine and liquor. My problem lies with how expensive the place is. They literally have bottles of wine I've seen at Trader Joe's cheaper being sold for $5 more here. They need to check themselves with the pricing. We are in Astoria. I wouldn't even say it's competitive, because the Asian liquor store on Steinway is much cheaper and has very similar products. I only seem to come here as a matter of convenience, which is a shame. I'd like to patronize a lot more and give them my business.

The best place to buy wine! I asked for a specific wine to bring in, 5 days later it's on the shelf! So excited with the great customer service, wine tasting and delivery in a flash! Great addition to the neighborhood!

Good selection of wine and close to my apartment, however I didn't have the best experience a few weeks ago. One of the guys who worked there was a bit condescending to me while I was trying to choose champagne to bring to a bachelorette weekend. Acting as if I didn't know which type my friends and I would enjoy, he suggested a brand with the rationale that "all the girls like this one." When I explained for a second time that I would not need cold bottles (even though that's what I was handed), he had an attitude that I had created more work for him when he went to retrieve bottles that were not chilled.

Great selection, Affordable prices, knowledgeable Staff, they have tastings 3 times a week!!! And they also deliver which is great! Rafael and Steven are Always they're to help you select just the right bottle for you. If you have pets worry not for they are pet friendly and have Milk Bones for our Furry Friends so everyone gets a treat! They are open untill midnight on weekdays and untill 9pm on Sundays. Try the BLUE...YEes I said BLUE prosecco it's great. With a flavourful Fruitiness sweet notes from peaches, apricots, and passion Fruit this this will make your summer nights even sweeter.

Such a clean and empty place! I came in for a free tasting on a Thursday afternoon - for a sip of one offered wine. When walking past, I always thought Wine Art and Liquor was a type of sip-and-paint place, but when I gave it a chance and walked inside, it's a place for wine and spirits. Friendly guy at the counter who shared his knowledge of Pinot Grigio and my visit was nice and quick!

I stop by this weekend for a couple of bottles of wine for my dinner tasting and the staff were very knowledgeable and pleasant to talk too , they knew what I needed to make my event a success, Thank You Wine & Art ,,,

This is an updated review - I decided to give this place another shot since I was walking by and needed to pick up wine anyways. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and informative. I went in looking to purchase one bottle of wine and walked out with two! My previous experience was not so great because of a less than attentive staff member, but based on the customer service I received tonight, I'll definitely be back.
