I am a big fan of this shop. They have very affordable and very interesting wines to select from he also carries an array of cheeses, salami, interesting crackers and more. The owner Steve is extremely knowledgeable and helpful and a nice guy as well. Attended a fun charcuterie class he taught and we learned how to cut varying cheeses and roll salami. Highly recommend you buy your wine here and support small business owners.

Stephen might be one of the nicest people I've ever met and this might be the most incredible wine, cheese, and gift shop I've seen in a long time. There is an incredible selection of wine - and Stephen is clearly such an expert on the varieties, vineyard owners, wine makers, and spends so much time curating an incredible selection for anyone in the area. If you are lucky enough to live near here, or drive by here, and you love wine, cheese, and other snacks, you'll be in heaven! 1000/10 recommend!

This place is fantastic! Lovely merchandise and a lovely owner. A one stop shop for wine, cheese, and all sorts of fun knick knacks. Always worth the trip just to get the oat milk ice cream cones.

We have now ordered 4 different charcuterie platters from here over the last 6 months or so and every time they have been phenomenal. We have brought them to Christmas parties and even brought some on the Duffy boat for lunchtime snacks. We have gotten something a little different each time and we are always pleasantly surprised. Decided to check this place out since I needed to bring something for a potluck. Placed a charcuterie board order with Steve. My box had a great selection of gourmet items. It had a trio of different salami samplers. It had dried nectarines, dried cranberries, fresh blueberries, and fresh grapes for fruit options. There were also 3 types of cheeses. Loved that one was sheep's milk. I also loved that there were also olive, cornichons, marcona almonds, and other types of nuts. It also came with 3 different types of crackers with a mini cup of honey. Honestly, it was very well thought out. I truly loved the variety in the box. My friends loved it. Steve exemplified great customer service. There were also other items in store. It was pretty spacious. There isn't anywhere for seating, so it's more of a grab-and-go type vibe. Huge selection of wine, picnic necessities, and so much more!

We catered sandwiches and a charcuterie from Wine Cheese etc for our daughter's first birthday, every aspect was exceptional. I sent my husband to place the order and he came back saying it was not only easy but they were informative, helpful and so nice. The food was delivered right on time and packaged beautifully. There were stickers and inserts that detailed all of the food. The presentation was great and guests could easily choose what they liked. The food itself was amazing. Almost every single person complimented the sandwiches and asked who catered. By the end I almost didn't want to say for fear they would get too busy! But, I did because they deserve your business! Cannot say enough positive things about the experience!

Wine Cheese Etc is a true neighborhood gem. There is such a warmth about Steve and Kerri. They bring you high quality products at reasonable prices. I've now ordered 3 charcuterie boards, am a member of their fabulous wine club, attended a handful of their events and have always had a great time! Open 7 days a week, Wine Cheese Etc. provides a great service to the Long Beach community for wine, cheese, and ... butter? We stopped by on a Monday afternoon, and there was plenty of parking (shared parking strip mall parking lot). I have been on the lookout for the best butter I could find to eat with fresh bread, since our Europe trip and settled on 'Rodolphe Le Meunier' to try. I was pleasantly surprised that one of the places that carry it, was right here in LBC. It's a smaller shop, manageable by one person. The owner/proprietor was very friendly, and gave us some suggestions on cheese (which we followed: Milton Praire Breeze $8.99) and fresh European bread, which we intend to try (with the purchased butter of course). I'm a sucker for sour dough flatbread crisps, so had to pick up a box of that ($8.50). Note that it has a small variety of cheeses, all already individually pre-wrapped (this is not a cheese shop where they have wheels of cheese, ready to be cut on-demand). Next time, will take advantage of the expert wine/cheese pairing.

For my sons Prom & Champagne send-off, and with less than 2 weeks, Steve managed to customize a charcuterie "cup" order for me. I will admit, we are not the biggest gourmet/exotic cheese and meat & fruit connoisseurs, and one of our guests had a nut allergy but Steve impeccably and without judging curated a lovely collection of goodies that my guests loved. Yes -- he dummied down the items to fit our simple palate and we were so grateful! They were delivered and set up to my surprise and my guests were absolutely impressed! Boy did I win the day! They were not cheap, but we needed them to be easy to handle and self-contained since we were at a park. Steve - thank you so much for helping make our day. And thank you for the text wishing my son a happy prom .

Wine, Cheese, Etc opened right when I moved into the neighborhood. Stephen was for sure a fresh and excited face to see upon entering the shop. The selection of their products caters to all walks of life...from a bold red & blue cheese to a light rose with fresh berries. The monthly wine nights are icing on the cake!

Love this place! They have a great selection of wines for a humble shop. Steve, the store owner, is very friendly and knowledgeable about wines and where they come from. So if you need help choosing a wine, Steve is your guy. My husband prefers red wine whereas I prefer wines to be on the sweeter side ie moscatos. Steve introduced us to "Stay in Bed Red" and "La Morandina" which is from Italy. I was excited to try the real deal moscato and it was definitely the best moscato I've had so far. As for the Stay in Bed Red, my hubby and I really liked it! In addition to wines, this is a one stop shop for all your hosting needs, a quiet night in or a hostess gift. They have greeting cards, cookbooks, beer, gourmet cooking ingredients and whatever you need to make a charcuterie board. You can even order cheese boxes or customized gift boxes online for your convenience. I'm happy to support family owned, local businesses so 5 stars to Wine, Cheese, Etc for great customer service, great selection of wines and other products, and reasonable prices. Highly recommend!

We came for the Grab and Go sandwich. The Truffle Shuffle was a tasty sandwich - my only complaint is that my husband and I couldn't taste any truffle at all (and we love truffle). It's a tad pricey for a sandwich of that size but you can taste that they use good ingredients so it makes sense. If they change the Truffle Shuffle to have a truffle taste, I'd be down to try it again!

Lovely spot! All the wines were hand curated and they have a monthly wine/cheese club. The owner helped us find a wine we'd like. He was extremely knowledgeable! They also have a lot of food items to make your own cheese board and gifts. One stop shop if you're looking for a nice wine night in or a gift for someone you love. We will be back!

WINE, CHEESE, ETC!... No, I'm not just listing off a few of my favorite things... Wine Cheese Etc is an amazing family owned wine, cheese and gourmet market in Long Beach! We were invited to one of their exclusive wine tasting events and we had the BEST time! Steve and Kerri, Wine Cheese Etc's wonderful owners, hosted this intimate wine tasting event where they shared 3 tastings of CAMP wine -- a Chardonnay, Merlot, and the Zinfandel (Steve's favorite!). They also prepared a beautifully crafted charcuterie board decked out with some of their best products sold right in store. You know I had to grab some of that "crack cheese" -- a sheep and goat cheese marinated in olive oil that is to die for! I enjoyed chatting away with fellow wine and charcuterie board enthusiasts. There was also a raffle with exciting prizes such as a cheese box for 4 and two bottles of wine from their monthly wine club. The etc. is true -- they provide so much more than just wine and cheese! I can't wait to for the next event!

Such a great shop! I ordered a small cheese board for my sons preschool teacher. Communication was seamless for ordering, and they were happy to accommodate a gluten allergy. The cheese board looks sooo fresh! And it's heavy! Very reasonably priced.. will definitely be back! A great gift!! Especially for the holidays

I should've written this review a long time ago... Steve and Kerri are both wonderful people here at Wine Cheese Etc. As a seasoned chef, Steve understands exactly what I'm looking for to pair with the dishes I make. I came across this shop by accident months ago when I was at the coffee shop in the same plaza. Boy am I so happy I walked in! Steve has always been so kind and helpful with everything I've asked for. The shop itself is very clean and nicely organized. Did I mention all of the wines he offers are all under $40?? And most of these are not the typical wines you'll find at a Bevmo or Total Wine! Make sure you stop by and take a look for yourself. Ordered a charcuterie box to take on a gondola ride with my wife. The selection of meats and cheeses was great and the selection of crackers to go with it was on point. Will definitely be back for more. Top quality and a nice bottle of French wine to finish it off from their selection in store.

Just passing by (headed for Baja Sonora next door) and stopped in to check out the cheese. Excellent selection! Lots of nice wines. TONS of "etcetera" tools, snacks, gifts... 5 Stars - Would shop here again. There are lacking a system to keep track of what you've tried, what you do and do not care to try again, so stop at the dollar store and pick up a tiny notebook. Steve is a great guy, very welcoming.

We have been following the updates on this darling wine and cheese shop from the beginning, eagerly awaiting their grand opening. We finally got to visit a few weeks after their opening and had a wonderful experience meeting the owner, Steve Murray, who greeted us upon entering while still helping others in the shop. We were impressed at the variety of wine, beer, cheese, pantry, and gift items from around the world, from saffron and tapenades to bamboo cheese knives and quirky t-shirts! This little shop has it all! Items are all reasonably priced, Steve was very helpful and knowledgeable about the beers and wines he recommended and we loved how curated the store was, which made it so very personal to him and so appealing for us to know he knew the product. Our first trip was such a success, we signed up for the 2 bottle wine membership and are very excited to try what Steve has selected this month! Looking forward to trying a few more bottles in the near future! P.S. He also has a cooler full of amazing gelato that we will have to try next time! #supportlocalbusiness

This place is the best! I needed a charcuterie board last minute for a family get together so I called the day before and was able to pick it up the next day. Nothing in that board was left! My family was giving compliment after compliment. Can't wait to go back.

I walked into this store not expecting much. I had recently tried midnight moon goat cheese I got from Whole Foods and loved it. For some reason I decided my litmus test of whether this place was legit was if they carried that as well. I scanned the selection and what do ya know...there it was. And Mt Tam was there too. I asked the owner if they carried Pate and he mentioned around the holidays--score! I asked if they carried caviar and he said he could special order it--another score! I asked if they carried Cod liver and he said not exactly but recommending a tin of Cod in garlic oil. I grabbed a tin of that and asked him if he only carried crackers (I prefer to eat my tinned fish on a baguette). He pointed to a semi baguette in his freezer. I got home and finished that entire tin and baguette and it was FANTASTIC. I think the most exciting this about this is that based on their selection and recommendations, I already trust that they will be able to select new products for me I know I'll enjoy going forward. Very excited to continue visiting this place to take home more surprises. I'm even more glad I don't have to go to Whole Foods to get good cheese. I do live near Lazy Acres but again, the added value with this place is the expertise of the owner.

They're a rad wine and cheese shop located in Times Square on the corner of Clark and Spring. They specialize in charcuterie boxes and also offer quality affordable wines from all over the world, carefully selected cheese and cured meats, gourmet groceries, imported beers and ciders, cookbooks, and other unique culinary gifts.   Wifey and I were invited to try out one of their charcuterie boxes and we loved it! Our box consisted of some very excellent meats, cheeses, crackers/breads, and other goodies. The standouts for us were hands down the brie and the gooseberries. Ever had a gooseberry before? Me neither...but they're delicious!! I'm definitely a fan and looking forward to picking up another box. Totally gonna pair it with a couple bottles of wine, too. You can also pick up other gifts for those wine and cheese lovers in your life. And if you're feeling really adventurous, ask them about their wine club. Head on down and show this newly opened gem some love!

Okay, I'm far too lazy to write reviews normally, but I felt compelled to write one for this store--that's how great a biz it is. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable about cheeses and wines. Translation: tell him what you like and dislike, and he will dial in an awesome choice. I detest most goat cheeses (just lick a rusty outhouse spigot and save yourself time), but I asked him to suggest one that would change my mind. Brought this mix of sheep and goat cheese home and it is quite simply--heaven. The dude is an artist. But they also offer top shelf ice creams, gelatos, and sorbets. I discovered a fabulous horseradish mustard too. We have to support this place. It is a tiny gem in Long Beach offerings, people. And no hard sell AT ALL. Super fun to pick his brain on two areas (wines, cheeses) that are quite intimidating due to their nuances and complexity. Go in and explore, and you won't be disappointed.

Visited this establishment at the recommendation of a friend and was really impressed. Relatively small, but expertly selected, inventory of wines. Prices were reasonable. Small, but again expertly selected, inventory of cheeses, cured meats, crackers, chips and snacks; some of which are generally quite difficult to find. Staff was super friendly and helpful. While not in my neighborhood, I'll make a point to visit again.

I was invited to a last minute game night and never like to show up to things empty handed. I browsed yelp to try to find somewhere that puts together charcuterie plates and found this place. Ordering was super easy, you just submit your request through their website at least 24hrs in advance and they send an email confirmation along with a link to submit your payment. The next day, I showed up and they had a beautiful charcuterie box prepared along with a box of different crackers to go with everything. It was a hit for game night, everyone loved it and it was delicious! Looking forward to ordering more in the future!

We got a cheese box for four that my wife and I tore through in an evening (it was an anniversary gift to ourselves). So ridiculously good. Too many tasty things to count, but a range of flavors from sweet to savory and everything in between. They recommended an excellent Italian red to pair with it. Definitely a new favorite.

Had the best experience working with Steve! I was in need of a meat and cheese box for a birthday celebration, and also had Steve whip up a few "sweet" boxes for me (which are not normally on his list of offerings but he did not hesitate to accommodate my request and offer his suggestions to make sure it would be both tasty and as aesthetically pleasing!). Packaging and serving utensils were adorable and everything was just beautiful and delicious! Bravo! Can't wait to support this small business again!!

Stopped by here with my mom and her cousin/daughter hoping we could sit and taste. We learned it is only a market so we picked a bottle and some snacks to go. They have an amazing selection and Steve who was working the shop was super helpful. He offered suggestions and even provided plates for us to take our snacks to go. They cannot serve you anything but you could totally put your own picnic together. Great selection of knock-knacks and gifts as well for the wine/beer/whiskey and cheese lovers in your life! We will be back!

I ordered a cheese box for a small gathering. Stephen asked for allergies and requests (to be honest, I hadn't even thought of the option). The box was fresh, tasty, and with beautiful presentation. Everyone was impressed.

We walked in to Wine Cheese Etc. after checking out Ottimo Pizzeria next door. The owner was extremely friendly and welcoming and allowed us to browse his selection at our own pace. We got a charcuterie box for four - it was amazing! There were tons of flavors with a good variety of meat, cheese, fruit and crackers/breads. Nothing was too exotic or funky, but it wasn't boring or bland either. We loved it! Way more affordable than sourcing out the constituent parts on your own.

So many good things in one place it could be dangerous. I could wander in with no needs and leave with my arms full in minutes. I love that they have just a bit of everything you need to throw together a great pasta or pizza dinner, a charcuterie board for unexpected guests or good bottle of wine just because. The owners are great and this shop is clearly a labor of love. Easy to have a brief conversation and find something new without a feeling that you are being hovered over and watched in the small shop. They took an interest in what we liked and I get the feeling that if there is something you'd like to find there they will try to have it for their local regulars. I'm definitely going to be dropping in when I need some inspiration for dinner or to try some new cheese or wine and recommend you check it out to!

The perfect thing for Friday afternoons at our Long Beach office! Every Friday we try to bring in a little something for our hardworking staff to enjoy as we celebrate the week's accomplishments and ease into our weekends by enjoying one another's company for a couple hours. While we use to get by by picking up a standard platter of this or that at a local grocery store, that was starting to get old. Thankfully we noticed this place had just opened and decided to give it a try. Our staff has really enjoyed both the quality and variety of the spreads they've provided for us, which have been anything but boring! This place should also be a godsend to anyone who is entertaining guests or looking for something to bring to a house party. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and will help you find a pairing that will delight your senses, based on your particular budget and preferences.
