Wine Down

Been twice, tried a variety of things across the menu and have yet to be disappointed!! The atmosphere is great, service has been top-notch, the little shop is just plain fun and the food delicious…. What more could you ask for! All for reasonable prices. Thank you for providing a unique, enjoyable experience

This place is so adorable, different, and relaxing! Great variety of wines to choose from with great little bites to order. We had a blast adventuring through all the different rooms within the building. Each room has its own personality. A portion of the rooms were reserved for a private party, but the other rooms were available for walk-ins to enjoy their drinks. They have little trinkets and local goods for purchase as well as cigars. The cigar room is really neat. Go take a look and experience it for yourself!

Visited this place for the first time with family. The service and atmosphere are great. We ordered brie and honey with crackers and it was delicious. They were kind enough to give us extra crackers when we needed them. The wine selection was good, too. There's a gift shop where we purchased a variety of items - lotion sticks, baby clothes, candy, etc. They have board games and we sat and played a cool game for a while. We had a toddler with and it was a family friendly environment. The bathrooms are quaint and clean There are tables as well as areas with couches. I will definitely come back on my next visit.

The food was great the cucumber water was a little sweet. The cheese and the grandmas sandwich were delicious. They had live music which made the atmosphere awesome. Had a great time enjoyed it.

Ever since they opened, I have to admit, I fell for the place. Service is always excellent. Food and drinks are always good. Atmosphere is unique. A added staple to the Socorro Mission Trail.

I love this place. One of my favorite spots. Everyone is always super friendly! I love the mango wine slushies and everything I’ve eaten there was absolutely spot on!!! My favorite is their bruschetta and the Brie

I didn't get the chance to eat here, but just walking through was an experience itself. This place is so cute and classy. An elegant experience tucked away in such a humble little building. The shop is a great place to get a unique gift or souvenir.

We had a wonderful time going to "Wine Down" for lunch and a glass of wine. This place is a great restored adobe building with low doorways and beautiful ambiance. Everything is set for a serene and enjoyable experience. The staff were very friendly and personable, and very eager to make your time memorable. We started out by wandering around the facility. They have all kinds of little small rooms that open up into the big area. Each place has a different interesting decor and a different seating arrangement, Some just couches and chairs. Other areas are small tables and then some have larger tables. All are around the perimeter of the larger center area. On our tour around, we came upon a small gift shop with all kinds of cute local wares that you can buy. And in the corner is the bar. It has a tasting station and they allowed us to taste several different wines to determine which one we wanted. We ordered a glass and continued browsing around the area. Once we found where we wanted to sit, they brought us menus, and we chose two different sandwiches, one is the turkey avocado, and the other was vegetable ciabatta both with side salad, rather than potato chips. We also got a starter of a Caprese salad. Other than our meals coming out at different times, which was awkward, the food was very very good. We enjoyed our meal and our wine and we both bought a bottle to go! Around the area, they have card games, board games, and other things that you could amuse yourself with. There was an area with a variety of cigars. But no one was manning it at the time. It appeared that they may have music outside, and there are some tables outdoors where I can imagine on an evening could be a great place to sit. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there, relaxing, sipping wine, and enjoying lunch/snacks. I definitely recommend this place! You might choose to make a reservation if you're going at prime time after five.

Let that be a lesson to me to not discriminate wine spots just because I don't partake in wine. But on this day, my adventurous side who always wants to visit new place won. When we arrived about 11 or noon it was pretty empty. We walked around and took in all the beautiful, authentic, historical spaces. Gorgeous!! It did feel a bit drafty but once we sat at a table with some sunlight we were fine. Believe it or not, we almost walked out at this point because it was empty. Plus, how good can their coffee be, thought this self professed coffee nerd. It is called Wine Down. So we sat, ordered coffees, and a charcuterie board. Well holy cow, the coffee was superb! Simple, large cups, with a stick of cinnamon which really levels up any coffee in my book. It was the kind of coffee that needs no cream whatsoever. The charcuterie board was also perfect (of course). The owner even let us try some pastries that were still warm. All in all, who wants to meet me here next week? I can't wait to return. Oh, and the prices and service were great.

The food, service, and ambiance are well worth the visit!!! We will definitely continue to enjoy nice evenings at Wine Down.

Omg! What a magical place! There was a street fair going when we visited. Great wine! Pizza looked amazing! Bar tenders were extremely helpful! Loved the historical vibe of this eclectic place! Such a fabulous experience!

Ambiance is 100%. Character and decor are worth the drive from El Paso. Wine beer and charcuterie, sandwiches, and soup options. Service is friendly and relaxed.

What a cozy little spot.I went there for the jazz exchange. It was great. The ambiance was perfect. The drinks were good too. The many areas to sit and enjoy a good book or in this case listen to the jazz music are great. The only drawback is they take forever to get your drink order and we en longer to pay your bill. Their spotty wifi was the reason for the latter.

A nice place to relax in Socorro. The setting of the building, the live music. The Ciabatta Sandwich was the best!

What an amazing nostalgic place to enjoy a great wine of your choice and even a cold beer. The staff and owners really know how to make you forget about your day with great service. The sandwiches are a definite must try and at a great price! Thank you again to the staff and owners for making our visit so memorable! We will definitely be back! Prost!

This place is amazing. We rented out the courtyard for a bridal shower and got the catering service. The food spread was so nice and very tasty. The customer service was great. The staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs. I would 100% recommend to anyone hosting a small event.

We tried all three wine slushies and they were good. Not too sweet, perfect. My wife had the wine flight and she loved all of them. Calming atmosphere and such a cute place overall.

We only stopped in for a glass of wine but it's a beautifully restored building in Socorro! Excited to try the rest of the menu!
