A truly great wine store with some select spirits. Selections for the novice to the sophisticated pallet. Excellent customer service. They do wine tastings every other Saturday. A great way to experience and learn about wines. Support local retail or it will be gone.

Really awesome and unique wine selection. Free tastings on Wednesdays (start 630pm) and Saturdays (4pm). Lots of higher end wine, but some good deals too.

A great place to find a unique bottle of wine that you may not be able to find anywhere else in the area. Owners and staff are knowledgeable, friendly and always able to help find the right bottle of wine for the occasion.

Excellent selection of wine. Wine tastings allow novices to experience differences in types and regions. People at tastings were a very nice group.

The wine house has an excellent selection of wines and high end spirits at reasonable prices. During our visit we had a wonderful conversation with the friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Terrific boutique wine store with great selection of wines, specialized in hard to find, hand-crafted, low production wines, terrific wines from emerging areas, and standards at all price ranges. They do great tastings on Wednesday and Saturday, with wine talks on Wednesdays. Favorites - Washington state, Oregon, Chile, Italy, and Spain! Probably the best Spanish selection in the city. They also have a great selection of Prosecco and other sparkling wines and Champagnes. And the single malt Scotch is amazing - something from most regions of Scotland. This is my favorite wine retailer, and they have enthusiastic, knowledgeable staff who also teach wine classes. Great local store.

I was pleasantly surprised upon waking into the store, we were not expecting a nice boutique wine store. We were passing through and wanted to grab a bottle or two and our GPS randomly led us here and we were glad it did. Highly recommend, after speaking with staff I wish I lived closer to take part in weekly events. From talking to staff you can tell the passion they have for the product.

I went in one late morning / early afternoon in the beginning of May on a Sunday. The only person in the store was an elderly man who instantly greeted me with an annoyed, "Can I help you?" and made it no secret that I was interrupting his lunch. I asked if he had a specific wine that is difficult to find. Without hesitation he rudely replied "No." I instantly left, not wanting to deal with such an old grumpy man. SO glad I didn't buy anything from him.

If you are into wine, then these are the people to speak with. They have a passion for what they do and it shows when you enter their store. I can honestly describe their knowledge of wine as superior, better than most sommeleirs I encounter at restaurants. If you are looking for vino to impress as a gift, to pair with courses for a dinner party, or just to enjoy in your own home, you won't be steered in the wrong direction by Tim or Matt. Their selection is by far one of the better if not the best selections of wine in this area. As the previous reviewer noted, they are not just into the trendy wines (though I am sure they can oblige if asked), you will find wonderful vintages from all over the globe. I am a Washington Red fan but have a new found appreciation for the various wine regions around the world. The best part is, they have the story to go with each of the wines they carry. I could go on about he quality of The Wine House but my fingers are getting sore. Stop in and take a look, you won't regret it. Cheers!
