Google
Hands down, my wine shop in the city! From easy chuggable wines to rare and obscure, the natural wine selection is brilliantly curated. The staff is extremely helpful as well, just let them know what you’re looking for and they’ve found it. 10/10 would recommend

Ariel Perez

Google
Honestly the best wine shop in the city. It's my go to for affordable wines and exclusive bottles. Service here is always so warm and friendly. I would highly recommend!!

Kayla Andersen

Google
Always a pleasure to pop in here whenever I’m in the city. Such a fantastic selection of wine. And the people are just as amazing. Always helpful, kind, and knowledgeable 🫶

alessandro pini

Google
Amazing selection of natural and skin contact wines from all over the world and a nice part of them from USA. Service was so nice and the guy talk with us about wines and recommend us exactly was we were looking for. A goodie in nyc.

Lourdes Colon

Google
Unique wines but horrible service!!! Walked in and was never greeted or asked if I need help. The 2 employees were just chatting and not caring about anyone walking in. I was there for 10-15mins and honestly walked out.

Jürgen Pretsch

Google
Neat little shop with a really good selection. The team was pleasant and helpful

Molly Cooley

Google
Really helpful staff! I didn't know what I wanted and they helped me pick two bottles within my price range that I'm really excited to try!

Vlad Voloshin

Google
Very impressive selection of organic and biodynamic wines. Definitely not your typical wine store, great for those who look for something special.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I's favorite wine store in the city! We are huge natural wine drinkers and love specific brands that you usually won't find in just any wine store. The selection is INCREDIBLE, the staff is extremely knowledgable and friendly. I always leave buying 4 or more bottles lol stock up! My only comment would be on the bags, the bags they give are simple paper wine bags so not great if you're buying alot. I'd bring your own reuseable wine tote to make sure you can comfortably carry it all!

Caroline H.

Yelp
Eric was so helpful!! I came to the store in a rush and he was so kind and helped me get everything I needed and more. I'll definitely be back.

Yelp
Hooked me up with a nice cava and $16 Bordeaux. Very good. PS for the few haters - if you are looking for your clerks to be fake sweet (like a lot of California wines) then you are ruining what NYC is supposed to be - savvy and to-the-point and cool. Followup- Dibon Cava was $14 or 15 here, its 9/10 dollars other places. NYC is expensive but that's a big markup.

Yelp
I've only done pick-up. It was super efficient! They have a great selection of natural wine. Staffs are very friendly and efficient. Will definitely return!!!

Yelp
This is a fabulous wine store. Amazing vast selection. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful! I was looking for a fun unique natural orange wine and one of the staff members led me to find an incredible one that I absolutely loved!!!

Yelp
My new favorite natural wine shop in the neighborhood. I use to go to Nolita Wines consistently and after one visit here I can say that I have no plans to ever return to NW. The customer service, selection, and varying price range make this spot a true gem. Especially with how friendly they are... sadly I'm use to snotty pretentious people working in wine shops who make you feel like a dumb idiot for even breathing in their direction - this ain't that tho! 10/10 for wine therapy!!!

Yelp
One of the best selections of wines per square foot in Manhattan. It's a tiny shop by city standards but probably more organic wines than you'll find in any high-end wine shop. I know that this place is different because I don't recognize the labels on most bottles. Clearly, they are discriminating in what they choose to sell. If you don't know much about wine, you can trust the staff to explain, based on what you tell them, what you might like. If you are a connoisseur of wine, you'll discover some new grapes and producers.

B K.

Yelp
Great selection but if you're not just picking up a quick bottle, keep in mind that just about everything is $2-$4 more than anywhere else. That adds up if you're buying a case. Stick to bottles only they have and you're good. If you're buying a few bottles though, maybe check winesearcher for better prices before.

Yelp
Amazing selection of wine. Super knowledgeable and helpful. We been really digging orange wines lately and this is defiantly a go to place

Yelp
I yelped a nearby Wine shop and Wine Therapy popped up as one of the top choices. I went in and browsed a bit to see their selection and eventually bought an Italian red and a Californian chardonnay. The cashier asked if I wanted to switch a bottle of the white to an already chilled one since I was planning to drink it the same night in which I gladly ablidged. (gladly appreciated) The prices are very affordable for the selection they offer and the wines are of quality. The wines I bought were very delicious and I'm highly satisfied with the service, selection and the cost of wines from Wine Therapy. Will be back!

Metok H.

Yelp
I usually love this place and come often as I live in the neighborhood. I bought my boyfriend El Dorado for New Years here but I bought five year instead of 12. I went back to Wine Therapy to see if there was any way I could get store credit. The El Dorado was still gift wrapped by the store with the store sticker on it. The man at the store refused to give any type of store credit and was pretty rude. I probably should have told him that I was also planning to buy some champagne. Now I am going somewhere else to buy the champagne and will be going elsewhere for all future purchases. You just lost a loyal customer due to bad service.

Yelp
One of the most unusual wine/liquor store to find here at the soho/Chinatown/little Italy border. Very small place, extremely unusual wines, ultra hip music and good prices (for NYC)... Really good finds there, interesting French stuff you will not even find in France. And the best is that they close really late for the city: 10pm!!! Really nice if you want to improv a last glass at home!
google avatar

Hannah L.

Yelp
Wine Therapy is just what a neighborhood wine shop should be! Compact, with a thoughtfully curated selection representing wines of the world at various price points. Bottles marked with clearly legible price tags, and brief yet descriptive notes for each bottle (region and taste profile). A few chilled whites and rosés in the cold case (again, a small but representative selection). Friendly staff who are just as excited about a vino verdhe rosé as I am (I mean, who wouldn't be?!). Just the right size, just the right atmosphere, just the right bottles, and just down the street: this Goldilocks approves.

Ginny B.

Yelp
I don't know what the other reviews are talking about. The staff is not knowledgable and the wines are overpriced. I visited this shop last week with a friend in the biz. We were running late for a party and popped in to buy a few bottles as we had heard it was a good shop. When we looked around, we saw that everything was way overpriced and when we asked a few questions of the staff, they had no clue about the producers in their selection. This place seems to think that putting on a haughty attitude is more important than curating a high quality well-priced selection. To add insult to injury, one off the bottles We opened was corked. When my friend went to take it back, the staff said they couldn't help him and that there was nothing wrong with the bottle, that it was supposed to smell like a moldy cellar. He was flabbergasted as knowing when something is corked is part of what he does for a living.

Yelp
Dropped by this wine shop because it was the closest proximity to me according to Yelp. It's a small shop, but there are a plethora of wine options regardless. What made this wine store stand out from others was its customer service. Usually I'm content to just browse on my own, but I thought it was cool how the employees came up to you and helped you pick wine. The guy working there listened to my preferences and suggested a couple of options. He didn't try to push the most expensive option on you, in fact, he asked me the price range I was looking for. Through a quick glance of the shop I think the lower end prices were around $15, with bottles of wine in various price ranges. A convenient no frills type of wine shop. Solid choice.

Yelp
My husband and I were heading into Brooklyn to visit some friends for dinner. Of course, we couldn't show up empty-handed and were lucky enough to be in the neighborhood where this fabulous wine shop is located. Now, I will admit, that we both had reservations about the shop. We were thinking overpriced, boring and fancy-pants? SO wrong. This store is the real deal. The adorable woman working behind the counter was quick to help. A quick run-through of the shop, showed a great price range and fabulous selection. We got a couple of fabulous bottles (including a yummy savennieres - cold, too). We were so happy with our experience at Wine Therapy - we will definitely shop there again when we're in Manhattan.

Yelp
The best "therapy" and wine shop I've been to so far in this city! The store is cute and clean cut simple so you can let the wine talk for itself. Hand written descriptions from the owners and workers themselves who have tried each and every wine bottle in the store so they can bring the BEST wine advice to you and really find a bottle that is truly and honestly what you're looking for. No snobs in here but genuine, down-to-earth people who love wine as much as you do! Thank you, Alissa! ***EVEN COOLER!! Tricia, the owner of the store, found my ID and all forms of financial support that I lost in a cab and got in touch with me to return my stuff!!! :) The store not only possesses exceptional quality but is run by a woman who is kind-hearted and has an immense amount of integrity! Thanks, girl!

Yelp
Wine Therapy is one of my other go-to wine shops in my neighborhood. They definitely have a good selection of Old World wine; I usually buy French or Italian here. My only gripe is that the website is really out of date. I hopped on it once and hoofed it over in the cold because I saw that a great Italian bottle that I bought over a year ago at a ridiculously low price was available; they show the number of bottles they supposedly have left online. Sadly they had been sold out of that bottle since I bought the second to last one for a Hanukkah party in 2008. To prevent heartbreak, call ahead to make sure they have what you want, although it is a very pleasant experience to just go in and wing it, too. That's how I ended up with a lovely Richou Anjou Chauvigne 2006 (website says 2005, it is indeed 2006 now) for only $13.99 that I paired with Thai food one night and dessert another day - both times it worked and was delicious!

Andrea R.

Yelp
One of my favorite wine stores - great selection and customer service. I cannot believe how quick and thoughtful their delivery is (even to Brooklyn!) during COVID!

Yelp
This is the best place to get wine in the whole city! They have a wonderful selection, always have something new to show you, but you can always count on your old favorites to be available. Also where else can you go in and ask for something, "apple-y, but sort of like springish, but not too acidic, and i only want to spend $10 cause i don't like the peeps I'm hanging out with..." And they get it right everytime???
google avatar

Hanway L.

Yelp
Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Authentic and inviting descriptions of the wine selection experience. Fun, fresh and traditional assortment of wines.
google avatar

Chad M.

Yelp
I'm not wine snob but this is the hippest wine shop I've ever seen. My wife and I were on the way to dinner at a friends house and stopped in. We asked for a few reds to go with lamb and a nice gentleman festooned with tattoos helped us out. The two bottles were wonderful and perfect for the evening. The wine was priced a lot lower than I had expected. Great find!

Courtney K.

Yelp
Ran to wine therapy to make it in time before closing...arrived at 10:55pm and saw 4 people inside the shop relaxing. All refused to open the door. Not fair to customers to put an opening and closing time and not abide by it.
google avatar

JL H.

Yelp
Quaint but really good selections. Even better with lots of tastings available in the fridge. Daniel, Sunday's staff, was extremely helpful & knowledgeable, while considerate of my budget. DEFINITELY return!

Shaila P.

Yelp
very cool workers, recommended some very good wine at a very reasonable price point, will be back.
google avatar

Amberlee P.

Yelp
I've been here a couple of times while visiting the city. The woman working is amazing! She has been so sweet every time we come. Gives us suggestions for wine. I love it!

Smith S.

Yelp
Love this wineshop it's my favorite. Really lovely staff. Not pretentious. Knowledgeable without the pretentious wine lingo. Amazing selection from the simplest choice to lots of weird funky wines. 95percent organic natural wines I'd Say. Jb the owner knows his wines and tastes everything in his shop. Great prices there was a whole section from $14 and under. Rhône's Malbecs even a good Bordeaux for 12.99. Went to a tasting and was lucky enough to meet the French producer. It's a small shop but so well curated.
google avatar

Caroline A.

Yelp
Excellent Service! I called and had a wine bottle delivered to a location near wine therapy and originally there was a problem due to my own error. The man (Humbert?) who worked with me hand delivered it to the person I needed it delivered to and was in close contact with me the whole time. Very friendly, great service, would highly recommend.
google avatar

Lia M.

Yelp
Love my local wine shop. I come here often and have found fantastic new wines ! The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable . I often buy boxes of wine from them for party and they are always beyond helpful and also give a percentage off! Next plan is to stay for a wine tasting! Cheers!!!!
google avatar

Chris E.

Yelp
Went in looking for a bottle of Louis Latour and came out with something better at the same price. They may be small but they know their wine, and have quite a good selection of bourbons and whiskey. Love that whistle pig. Thanks guys
google avatar

Ava S.

Yelp
Best wine shop! Located right in Nolita. Has the best range of old world wines. Very curated selection and the owners are are French couple. They're friendly and quite helpful, too! Their selection of California/Oregon/Washington State Pinot Noir is where I really get my kicks though. Definitely stop in!
google avatar

Trac V.

Yelp
A lot of wine from boutique vineyards around the globe, at all prices, well-chosen by the owner: every bottle I've had here is good. Great selection of organic and biodynamic (supposedly like organic, but even more so, like, organic-squared) wine. If you buy six or more bottles you get 10% off. Well, no-brainer, right?

Jordan L.

Yelp
As someone who is a bit of an asshole, I've dismissed this store a few times because they have a cutesy chalk sign outside the store which almost seems to take credibility away from them, but I've gone in here a few times and have been pretty impressed each time. There's one like asian-y looking guy that works here and I will completely trust his recommendations every time.
google avatar

Lauren W.

Yelp
Very good wine selection and a lovely Nolita shop. The women who worked there were really friendly and let me hang around for a while and make myself at home while I browsed. I got the sense that they weren't very knowledgeable about wine, but they did help me choose some good bottles. The bottles were reasonably priced, but I found them for less at Astor wine and spirits. This is a great place to grab a bottle of wine on your way to a party, but don't make a special trip out here to do your wine shopping.

Clementine C.

Yelp
This is a small wine shop that deserves your business! Here's why: They have rotating specials and sales on some great American wines! Despite the small shop, there is a wide selection that changes often enough. Good service, takes credit cards
google avatar

Kristina D.

Yelp
I really love this wine shop. It's all organic, the staff is super friendly, reasonably priced, and they are all very knowledgeable about the product. When I walked in, they greeted me warmly and asked me about pairings.
google avatar

Cristy M.

Yelp
I absolutely love this wine shop. It's literally across the street from my apartment and between my husband and I, we are in there regularly--like embarrassingly/alarmingly regularly. Most of our friends have been in there too many times to count because we're the "hang out" apartment so they stop in for some bottles and always have a positive experience. The entire staff is very knowledgeable and most often suggest incredibly reasonable bottles of wine--say 10-15$ range. There's no pretense, a great selection, and a case full of cold bottles if you need something already chilled. Plus, I really appreciate that they take the time to learn what I like so that they can make suggestions to my completely I-don't-know-anything-about-wine-will-I-sound-like-I-do-if-I-call-everything-oaky husband when I'm not with him.
google avatar

Lyle B.

Yelp
Cozy little wine shop with a great variety and expert recommendations from the staff. Tres bien.

Panayiotis P.

Yelp
This place is the best, and I'm the worst for not telling people. I've been a customer for many years. Even though I've moved 85 miles north of the city, if I'm in Manhattan and need a special bottle, I always know this place will be great. They have excellent choices and amazing finds that don't cost a fortune. Their staff is great and super helpful and most importantly, honest.
google avatar

Marijke B.

Yelp
I really must tell you all that I have become so spoiled by the selection at Wine Therapy. I walk in and JB or one of his amazing staff is there to point me into terrifically tasteful directions. I trust every recommendation they make and am never dissatisfied! Tonight we drank 2 of their bottles and opened a third of someone else's. Needless to say, I poured the 'other' glasses back into the bottle and opened another Wine Therapy bottle. You can never go wrong at Wine Therapy. It's just brilliant wine selection. Never stray. You won't be disappointed.

Dario M.

Yelp

Yelp
In this humble wino's opinion, this is the best wine shop in NYC. Great selection of tasty hand selected boutique wines at great prices. The staff is very friendly and really know their wines.
google avatar

Alexander G.

Yelp
Current go-to spot in my neighborhood. Clerk amicability can depend on whom you encounter (a bespectacled gentleman last time had spot-on recs for cheap white wine, mezcal, and vermouth), but I usually walk out really happy with what I buy. Not as cheap or as wide a selection as Astor or Warehouse, but love this for a night-of booze pickup, especially since it's open late.

E A.

Yelp
Simply the best wine and best advice on wine, with the sweetest staff around! They never try to get you to spend, just to spend. If you tell them what you want, no matter how "creative" the telling, they will listen and give you honest, sage advice, in quality and price.

Vanessa L.

Yelp
Wine Therapy is one of my favorite neighbors. JB is amazing and always delivers wonderful customer service. He is great about knowing his regulars' taste buds and is very knowledgable on the wines. Friendly, professional, and welcoming. Unfortunately, I cannot say I have received the same customer service from the other employees that work there. Was disappointed the last couple times I went into the shop and the women that work there were slightly aloof and not very helpful/knowledgable in recommending wines after describing what I was looking for; During a recent visit, for the first time, I encountered unprofessional and tacky service was when I was waiting patiently at the checkout counter for a few minutes while the female employee was assisting another customer who entered the shop after me. She attempted to check out the other customer before me, after she'd seen I had been waiting to be checked out. The gentleman was polite and told the employee to check me out first as I had been waiting. The employee responded, "Oh what a gentleman" instead of being mindful of the situation. I hope to not encounter this again. Its a fantastic wine shop with an a great eclectic selection, I just hope all employees can provide professional and welcoming customer service like JB. I recommend this shop to all.

Yelp
i stumbled on this place completely by accident and what a find! i needed a bottle of champagne as a gift and not only did they give me personalized recommendations, they sent me away with a ready-to-drink cold bottle (!) and wrapped it in pretty tissue paper and ribbons. a total slam dunk.

Jeremy B.

Yelp
This place is super-cute. The staff are great, and will always give you interesting ideas at whatever price range you want. Love it!

Frank B.

Yelp
Very very $$$$ pricey and absolutely not competitive. 20% markup vs. Others in the area.

Afrodet Z.

Yelp
I love this wine shop as well as the the detailed knowledge of the owner and constantly take advantage of the 15% off 6 bottles!
