The service was very slow but the location was amazing, despite the large amount of flies, our disappointment was in the food.
We took the 5 course tasting menu and started with the beef tartar – this was superb – the best I have ever had, from there the food went down hill
The chicken liver was acceptable, the Pork belly was average and the Lamb tasteless with a really boring sauce. This was followed by the most disgusting lavender sorbet. This was so strong that it tainted the wine and spoilt the dessert.
I felt that the food took presentation more seriously that the taste, the portions did not know whether they were a starter, main or taster – the size was wrong for all of these.
I do not believe that your food is worth the money you charge. This is why every other resturant is busy and this place is empty. Much better places (and a lot cheaper) nearer the town
