Google
Good wine selection for purchase to take but they literally had like a couple wines you could get a glass of which is crazy since they literally have thousands of bottles for purchase. And they really need to clean up all the clutter everywhere and maybe some comfortable furniture to relax while having a glass. It is not at all inviting.

Luke Faber

Google
Amazing place! Owners know their stuff and have a superb collection. Views are beautiful. If you’re a resident or visiting I HIGHLY recommend coming here. Best wine bar around

Scott Stephens

Google
Large selection of wines & more. Very informative & friendly staff.

Google
A wine bar and shop with unique wines at a range of prices. A nice place to try something new. There are also some really good low - cost imported wines- good for expanding your wine tastes. They have happy hour every day from 4-6 with a dollar off glasses of wine. Conveniently located near the airport they can also ship wine.

James Piper

Google
Huge selection of both import and domestic wines. Not limited to just bottles, they also serve nearly all their selections as long as you commit to the glass. Knowledgeable staff that is friendly and always willing to lend a hand!!

Deb Yanazzo

Google
Lissa and Ash were fantastic. I appreciate they were happy to share stories of the wines we tasted and information on the wine makers. Everything a wine bar should be.

Dmytro Marushkevych

Google
Lovely wine bar. But the secret sauce is the owners: Ash and Mary (Mary is also a great winemaker). Also, where else you can taste hundreds of wines by the glass, including some cult ones?

Google
Great atmosphere, actually kind of quiet-- even with a bunch of people there. Fantastic wine selection and reasonable prices. I'll be going back soon!

Yelp
WineSneak is located in a business complex, hidden from Broad Street. WineSneak is like Bevmo or the like type of store that has a bar. You can drink a glass a wine for $8 or also grab a beer here and you can also purchase a bottle of wine here. If you want to drink that bottle of wine here, there is a $10 corkage fee. There is a different selection of wine and beer that is available to try by the glass. But if there is not a type of wine that you want to try that isn't from the selection, you can find a bottle that is in the store and have them open the bottle and pour you a glass. My husband and I came here on a Friday night, around 7 pm. We ended up getting a glass of wine each ($8 per glass, prior to tax), which came out to $17.24 after tax. My husband ended up getting a glass of a red wine and I ended up getting a glass of a dessert wine. I am not much of a wine drinker and currently only like dessert wines, sangria and some rose. The dessert wine I had (a moscoto) was great and learned that this particular wine is made in Oregon. If this place did not exist, I would not have had the winery of the dessert wine I had on my radar. It is nice that you can try any bottle of wine or beer in house and just pay for a glass instead of getting stuck with a whole bottle of something that you may not like (that has happened to me on numerous of occasions and had hoped that a particular bottle would be good but ended up being rather a disappointment). WineSneak does has a small selection, in comparison as BevMo, but there are still quite a good selection of alcohol and most likely you will find something you will like. The 2 employees working the bar where we were sitting were friendly and engaged with us in conversation. This place has a nice welcoming atmosphere. Great place and would come back here. But it is too bad that this place is not dog friendly.

Yelp
I died and went to heaven!!!! First off, who doesn't want to get in sneak mode and go to this place? I've been waiting for Wine Sneak to open up since I first heard it was coming to SLO back in November. Tonight was the night! Booooooyaaaa! I felt like I was bellied up at this bar with Santa serving wine! You literally can ask for anything and they will open it with a huge smile, pour you a little taste and not even get uptight if you don't like it! I happened to love everything i tried...I know, SHOCKER! (Giggle) Anyhow, I discovered an awesome Pinot Noir Blanc. Only because the awesome lady Mary behind the bar knew I loved Albariño and suggested I try the PNB! Wow!!! I'm seriously making this my new Friday night weekday wine-down! New term for wind-down! If you're waiting for practice to finish, a flight at the SLO airport or just looking for a cool place to hang, look no further, come to the Wine Sneak! You'll be stoked you did!

Yelp
This place is a true hidden gem. Go check it out and you'll quickly see why. Enjoy a glass for me and take one home for yourself.

Yelp
Ash Mehta, Owner, knows local wine and how to run a clean and tight shop. Excellent selection, solid pricing, great value and plenty of helpful and knowledgeable staff to help you find the perfect bottle or mixed case.

Yelp
So nice to have a glass on my one day off! Such great choices!!! They're open for glasses, hopefully soon for their wonderful tastes!

Yelp
What a concept in San Luis Obispo! WineSneak gives you the opportunity to try before you buy in wines! Mary, the wine director, gave us great insight as well as suggestions for our tasting today. She even makes her own wine so she has a breadth of experience to share. We discussed our taste in wines. Mary guided us through the offerings. Hubby had a red flite and I had a white flite. We enjoyed it all thoroughly. Great place to stop and shop for local and beyond wines.

Yelp
An amazing spot that has a great selection including a lot of local options with fantastic friendly staff. What's not to love!!

Yelp
What a perfect place to taste and buy wine! We stubbled upon WineSneak after driving back from the wineries and were surprised to find such a vast selection of great wines. Their wine bar has amazing flight options for only $15. They have an amazing deal that lets visitors try a glass of wine from any bottle they want. You can ask for a glass from the nicest of wines and the open bottle goes into the wine fridge for tasting. They also have a great selection of cheese and meats for a little snack while tasting. We had the opportunity to helped by Mary, a great local wine maker that makes some amazing reds. We also got to meet the owner, Ash, who was so friendly and helpful. We'll be stopping by every time we're in town.

Yelp
When WineSneak opened, I was hoping this would be a friendly, accessible, local shop where a wine novice like me could get some personal help and guidance in choosing and finding interesting wines. Unfortunately, the people who work here just don't seem to care that much about customer service. On two separate occasions, I asked a WineSneak employee whether they could get me a French wine I'd had once and really enjoyed. Both took down my name and number and said they'd get back to me, and neither ever did. Being blown off like this indicates they don't really care about me as a customer and, as a result, I feel like I might as well shop at Von's or Costco for wine.

Yelp
Really enjoyed my first experience at WineSneak. The selection was interesting and I felt the prices were fair. Asking for a BTG white suggestion resulted in a nice dry Riesling for my wife. My one suggestion is, documentation. Give me something to read about the process. I don't want to have to wait for staff to tell me how the place works. A simple print out stating "any bottle in the the store can be opened for by the glass or full bottle consumption, please find what you're wanting to have." Would have been helpful. Could even be printed as signage. Now that I know how it works, I'll start with finding wines I want to drink rather than starting at the bar.

Yelp
Ordered local bottle of wine online to save on shipping costs. There were options for pick-up and I chose the nearest location in Pismo Beach. Great online service, nice local selections, and fair prices. Order was ready the following day. Thanks.

Yelp
Tonight was a special Monday event. Cellar/Library wines were served by the glass at a discount. The wines were available for purchase. And at a very reasonable price. As I mentioned before this is Ash's and Lisa's third venue. Please visit!

Yelp
I've been a fan of Tastes of the Valleys in Pismo Beach for a few years, so was excited to hear the owners were opening WineSneak. The grand opening last week was well attended. The space was lively with people enjoying themselves and taking it all in--I think this location (literally across the street from SLO Regional Airport) will be popular with locals and visitors. Can I say kudos for not locating WineSneak in downtown SLO? It's soooo much easier to come here; easy parking, no meters, etc. The staff is friendly and in addition to the tasting bar area, there are several high-top tables. And now for the important stuff--the wine. I've heard WineSneak will be patterned after their other locations, offering wines by the glass, plus many (many) bottles to choose from for purchase. (There is a corkage fee if you buy a bottle and drink it there.) They also have a Reserve Room, in which are kept the special and rare wines. The space can accommodate a lot of wine, and it's getting filled in nicely already. Lots of California and domestic wines, plus some international wines from the important regions of France, Italy, Spain, and others. WineSneak is a good place to try new wines and perhaps find a new favorite.

Yelp
This is the ultimate place to have a glass a wine or buy a bottle for yourself or a dinner party. Located on the outskirts of SLO, it gives you the feeling of being away from the madness going on downtown. The owner and his great staff are always there with a smile and ready give any suggestions on wine. Their selection of wine is like no other in the area. I suggest to sign up for their text message notifications. They will let you know when they are offering tastings from one of the vineyards they carry. The owner handpicks so perfectly where you always end up leaving with a bottle as there is something that you will like in the tasting.

Yelp
What a great place to stop and try a selection of wines from different wineries around the globe, right across from the San Luis airport

Yelp
Love this place for the variety, and Ash the owner is awesome. You can't get a bigger wine selection in town, and the prices are very reasonable. It's unique because you can pick any bottle of wine and they will open it and you can have it by the glass. Adds to a cool experience of trying lots of different unknown wines. Mary their wine buyer is also awesome and a wine maker too. If you have a chance, try the Italian snacks. Yum yum

Yelp
Most of the time when I leave a wine bar or a tasting room, I feel happy. When I left this place, I felt underwhelmed in a big way. I did a tasting of 6 wines (reds and whites) ($16). The tasting comprises of whatever they have that are already opened. The options for whites were limited (mostly French). There were not a lot of efforts put into finding out what I like before offering me a taste. This place is an interesting concept. It's not a wine bar and it's not a winery tasting room. It's more like a wine store where bottles can be opened on site and you are committed to purchasing just 1 glass for the price of 40% of the price of the bottle. If you like the wine, you can take the rest of the bottle for the price of the bottle plus $10.

Yelp
Finally made it into wine sneak last night and loved it. Great spot to grab a glass after work or on the weekends. So many great glasses and bottles to choose from at really reasonable prices. Like Ash's other wine bars, you can virtually order a glass of any bottle in the house! Will definitely be back!

Yelp
Great selection of wines, easy parking, and cool vibe. I see this being a great after work hangout spot
google avatar

Yelp
Very broad selection of wines, both local, Californian, US and international selections. Most with prices by the glass and bottle. Cheese and charcuterie plates are available for purchase (by Fromagerie Sophie !). Lots of parking. Nice place to meet friends after work to chat, try wines. Will definitely be back

Yelp
Great wine selection! Had a very nice Edna Valley Syrah from Alban Vineyards. Can't wait to come back and explore the Barolo selection! Our new favorite wine bar.

Yelp
Great new wine bar where you can literally taste a huge array of wines. Unique finds and helpful staff to help you select wines for your palate. Great happy hour spot!

Yelp
Just had a couple glasses of wine at WineSneak with my wife. The owner (Ash) and employee (Emily) were very pleasant. The wine selection was amazing. We will definitely be back!!

Kunal M.

Yelp
A large selection of wines, domestic and especially love their international collection. Ash (owner) is very friendly and knows a lot about wines from different regions. The best is that he will open ANY bottle of wine as long as you pay for a glass. This allows you to really build your palette and learn about different wines. A must go place in SLO.

Pat S.

Yelp
It's nearly too good to be true--they'll open any bottle of wine in stock and let you taste it! WOW! Or, as my friend and I did, one can buy a "flight" of 6 tastings from any of the open bottles. This was so fun! The wine was great, the service was fun, and the place is clean and attractive. I'm going again!

Nancy F.

Yelp
Great relaxing spot to share a conversation and remarkable diversity in wine selection, both domestic and international wines that are hard to find elsewhere. Highly recommend
