I've been a fan of Tastes of the Valleys in Pismo Beach for a few years, so was excited to hear the owners were opening WineSneak.
The grand opening last week was well attended. The space was lively with people enjoying themselves and taking it all in--I think this location (literally across the street from SLO Regional Airport) will be popular with locals and visitors.
Can I say kudos for not locating WineSneak in downtown SLO? It's soooo much easier to come here; easy parking, no meters, etc. The staff is friendly and in addition to the tasting bar area, there are several high-top tables.
And now for the important stuff--the wine.
I've heard WineSneak will be patterned after their other locations, offering wines by the glass, plus many (many) bottles to choose from for purchase. (There is a corkage fee if you buy a bottle and drink it there.) They also have a Reserve Room, in which are kept the special and rare wines.
The space can accommodate a lot of wine, and it's getting filled in nicely already. Lots of California and domestic wines, plus some international wines from the important regions of France, Italy, Spain, and others.
WineSneak is a good place to try new wines and perhaps find a new favorite.
