Wing Basket

I placed an online order... it was a simple order over the phone... when I got my food the chicken was bone in it was supposed to be boneless. Not to mention the so called wings were rubbery and dripping with grease.. also i threw away what they decided to call Fried pickles.. FOR $26 THIS PLACE IS NOT WORTH IT YOU WOULD BE BETTER OFF EATING RAMEN NOODLES THAN WING BASKET. Below is the picture of the so called Fried pickles they decided to serve me..... this place is absolutely horrible and disgusting... the girl over the phone cant hear and the cooks can't cook.

We went in after looking at the prices on the menu online and apparently the online menu is wrong it says 50 piece is 34.99 but when we got there it's 74.99. They need to update the menu if they are going to change the prices. Other than that everything is wonderful.

Ate some bone-in wings from there yesterday and felt sick all night. Woke up this morning puking and sick. Was once a supporter of this place but now I wouldn't recommend anyone to eat here until they get new cooks. Overpriced and lazy food hygiene. 5 stars on the food poisoning though!

Ordered a 30 piece half honey gold and half lemon pepper. The lemon pepper wings were old and refried. The honey gold were not honey gold as I know honey gold wings to be, they were dark. This is not the same place I remember growing up in covington in the 1990's. These were the worst wings I have ever had, I will be calling the Tipton County Health department in the morning and filing a complaint regarding other things I saw while I was there waiting on my order, if this is their best effort then the door need to be closed and never reopen. I will assist them in making sure they never reopen and serve the public this BS.

Our waitress was fast and efficient when taking our order. The food was hot and rather delicious. We will definitely visit every time we are in Covington, TN.

Best wings in Tipton county! If you haven't tried here, it's worth the visit!

Place is amazing for home style chicken wings and other foods good pricing and the service is always excellent probably my favorite place to eat in Covington TN

This is my favorite restaurant to eat in West Tennessee! The wings are AMAZING! The sides are AMAZING! Everything tastes fresh and homemade. This is a Covington MUST. I would even drive from Memphis to eat at this hidden gem. Service is phenomenal and staff are very friendly!!!! Portion sizes are great for the price. 10/10!!!!

Waited a long time for the staff to acknowledge we had walked in and were waiting to be sat. The phone was ringing off the hook, and it seemed there was only 1 cook and 1 FOH staff working. We sat down and were given our drinks, ordered our food, and waited. And waited. And waited. Lots of ToGo pick ups were being handled. Our food finally arrived. It was good, the Honey Gold wings were a huge hit with my son. However, my drink was never refilled, I was only asked about a refill after we had finished our food. I asked what the server recommended for dessert, she said "we don't have any." I said "but there's desserts on the menu?" She said "I've worked here for 5 months, we've never had dessert." I waited for quite a while for the bill to arrive before I just went to the line for ToGo so I could pay. The establishment has a ton of mixed themes, kind of like a bar and Hobby Lobby had a baby. It definitely needs a good deep cleaning throughout.

I had to fly to Covington Tennessee for an exam and I honestly wasn't expecting anything crazy from this small town but I found this wing place. Now the inside didn't look anything special, but the chicken was amazing! Service was good! I got their chicken tenders because they didn't have boneless chicken wings and I got them with garlic parm, and these were the best chicken tenders I've ever had and the garlic parm sauce on them was just the right amount! Fries were okay, a little soggy because I waited to eat them probably, but I was pleasantly surprised with this place!!

Don't bother calling your order in. They wait until you get there to prepare it anyway.

Love Wing Baskets family friendly atmosphere. Love the TV's, the upbeat music. The food is delicious. The staff is friendly and the service is great too.

Wings and fries are money!! I had the golden hot bone on wings. Yum!! Great, friendly staff. Neat place.

Solid spot for bar food. This restaurant is small and modest, but clean with fresh food. There are plenty of tv's if you want to watch a sports game and a jukebox to control the music.

The food is really really good and the staff is very friendly. We like this place and the atmosphere is fun with a jukebox and some pool tables. The only complaint is it takes forever to get your order filled. In other words, if you are coming in and only have 30 minutes you are probably out of luck or going to be rushed. A little more speed and this place would be perfect.

They have a freezer dedicated to their large mugs and massive pitchers so your beer is served nothing warmer than ice cold. This alone should be all you need to read, but I will continue. The wings are MASSIVE and have flavor to match. The owner is very friendly and fun to chat with as he pours you the perfect beer. This place also offers ice cream, shakes and pies for dessert (if you can fit it in). Four pool tables, arcade games, and TV's tops it all off. They keep a clean fish tank too so you have something to look at while you wait in line for the bathroom.

My husband and I just returned to Covington after a several year absence and with him being a huge buffalo wing lover we soon found Wing Basket. He LOVES the buffalo wings here, I get mine plain, seasoned with salt and pepper. The BBQ nachos are good here too. But my favorite is the fried okra. I LOVE fried okra and order it everywhere, and the breading seems to always tastes the same - I think every restaurant orders from the same breaded okra supplier! Except Wing Basket. Not sure if they bread their own but it's very tasty. The half order, or side order, for $1.99 is huge!

The wings were burnt and hard. They was So hard you couldn't even bite into them. I returned the wings and they tricked me like they were going to replace them, but they only replaced the ones on top that was visible ‍. I wouldn't buy my dog food there

Best wings in the US. The traditional mild has the perfect heat. We drive down from illinois for work and it's the only consistent place around. Love it

Their service is terrible. The food is good. I had an issue with an order, called up there, they said they would correct my order, get there, the order is still wrong!! I call, they answer, hang up on me, and then continue to ignore my calls! I will let everyone know the type of business they run!

We arrived at 5:15pm we ordered 2 fish plates and green tomatoes! We sat here and didn't get our food until 7 o'clock! In that time we were only checked on twice! I am deeply disappointed they could have made some very loyal costumers out of us! I know one thing is for certain though our waitress Kenyatta was the sweetest thing she was very upset about the situation!

Well I must say that I was amazed & impressed with the food selection on the menu. I actually had a hard time deciding what I wanted in addition to getting the 12 piece wing basket. I got the hot wings which came with a dinner roll, carrots and celery. The wings were the BEST! I also got the catfish plate dinner for my hubby and two slices of pecan pie! This restaurant won't disappoint!!!!

This was a nice place for a casual dinner. I had the wing basket but there are quite a few non-wing options too. I ordered the wings hot and the women waiting on me asked if I had been there before and warned me of the heat. I said 'bring it on'. They were excellent! Also had fries, carrots and celery. The only thing to correct from the Yelp post is that they only have beer....a really big selection...but no wine. I will definitely go back to this place when I am in town. I also wanted to mention how friendly the people working there are!

Service was extremely slow.It took forever to get our food.The wings were great with homemade buffalo sauce.

Slow service, and the wings we ordered were not thoroughly cooked. Not only that, we called in and held for almost 10 minutes, and then we ended up having to call back to place our order. Then, after going to pick up my order, I still had to wait about 15 minutes. Lastly, both my wife and I got sick within an hour of eating those wings. No more Wing Basket ever for us. I'll drive to Atoka and have JT's, which is 15 to 20 minutes out of my way.

Absolutely love this place. I get the 30 piece wing combo, half mild, and half hot. Their wings are some of these I've ever eaten. The sauce is amazing. Hooters and Buffalo Wild Wings has nothing on this place! The owner, Mr.Larry is the nicest guy you'll ever meet. Every one loves him! The tea is great, the beer is cold, and the wings are just amazing. There's 4 pool tables and a few arcade games in the back room as well. Several tvs, playing different sorts, and a big projector, when there's a big game, you can bet it'll be on the projector. This is an awesome small town favorite. Stop by and try it out. You'll love it!

Amazing wings! Everything is cooked to order - does take a minute, but you can count on fresh, hot food! A lot of TV's which is nice! The owner. Mr. Larry is so nice! The pool tables and arcade games make it a nice place to hang out!

The Wing Basket #1 in Covington, Tn has the toughest chicken wings I ever bit into. They weren't cooked enough. So brought them back to get a refund. Girl at the checkout that waited on me said the man was gone, so refused to give me a refund. If that's true or not don't know, but don't see what difference that makes anyway, but if I had cooked something that nasty I'd left too believe me!!! Don't go there!!!!!

Step aside BW, move over Hooters - there's a new WING BOSS in town! Beer was ice cold, wings were extraordinary. 12 hot wings left me as full as a tick. I will swim through land to eat there again! The head honcho was extremely pleasant. The help was friendly and the place was clean. What else can you ask for? Pecan Pie for one thing! They had it, plus a cooler if ice cream choices.
