I visited this location in the evening, and overall, the food was very good. The restaurant was clean, lively, and well-maintained. However, my table was assigned to a server named Carla, whose service unfortunately brought down the experience.
Carla may have been having a rough day, and I get it, because we all have bad days, but that shouldn’t reflect in her customer service. She was often hard to reach, moving quickly from table to table without checking if everyone was okay at our table, and at times, she reached over guests’ food without saying excuse me. When asked questions, her responses came across with more attitude than friendliness.
I understand that restaurants can get busy and servers have many tables to attend to, but each guest deserves courteous and consistent service. That’s how great customer experiences—and tips—are earned. For this reason, I’m giving Carla’s service a 2 out of 5, even though the food and atmosphere were excellent.
