Date: January 2, 2026 Time: Approximately 5:30 PM I have frequented this establishment often, but after my last experience, I will not be returning. For the last four visits, my order has been made incorrectly. I always order lemon pepper honey wings, and each time lately, the honey has been missing. Normally I let it go, but this time I wanted the wings to taste the way they did the first few times I came. Before leaving the counter, I looked at my food and could immediately tell the honey was missing again. I asked the cashier if she was sure it was lemon pepper honey, and she assured me that it was. When I got to my car and tasted the wings, it was clear there was no honey at all, so I went back inside. I explained the issue to the same cashier (who I had just tipped, as I usually do to support Black-owned businesses). She said the only thing she could do was take the wings to the back and add honey. I also mentioned that I had ordered an extra fry with the same seasoning, not the fries that came in the box. She misunderstood at first but said okay and took the food back. When she returned, I tried again to explain about the extra fries without sauce. She went back to the cook, who already seemed agitated. I then overheard him say that they were out of honey, said in frustration. When I asked the cashier if they were out of honey, she said no — but I clearly heard the cook speaking from behind the curtain. At that point, the situation made me very uncomfortable. The quality of the wings has drastically declined, the communication was dishonest, and the attitude from the kitchen was unprofessional. After spending hundreds of dollars here over time, this was extremely disappointing. I don’t even feel comfortable eating the food because of how upset the cook appeared. When I asked the cashier for his name so I could report the incident, I was told they could not provide that information, and she turned away. I truly tried to continue supporting this business to uplift our community, but paying customers should never be treated this way. This experience was unacceptable, and I would not recommend this location. Please be aware — this is no longer the place it once was.

If this is ur first time going to this restaurant DONT go ! There wings are so small u will want ur money back. It was our first time going & drove 45 min & it was not worth the drive at at & we was still hungry after we left the restaurant

Definitely won’t be returning. First red flag should’ve been when they had 3 U’s on their Inspection Scores (54 in 2021, 42 in 2022, and 58 in 2025) I decided to give them a chance because why not. I believe in second chances. Their wings looked so good on TikTok but don’t let that fool you because in person, those same wings look small and burnt. The flavor of the wings gave a fermented-like fizz taste like if the sauce was expired. Also, the fries were undercooked. The establishment also looked very dirty. The food was also pretty high in cost for it to give very low standards. Please refrain from coming here, you’ll be disappointed.

I love going on Wednesdays and Fridays because you get 20 wings & fries they have many flavors to choose from, The wings are really good. The price you can't beat, I love the corn and slice of cake they are delicious.

Went to try it out. Placed an order over $100. All the wings were so small and burnt all you tasted was the cruncy dry meat. They don't give you any dipping sauce or condiments. What wing place doesn't give you ranch or blue cheese with your wing order. Wings were overly salty. Will not be returning.

I went on Friday. The front cashier was multitasking taking front orders and phone orders . I asked for the mild honey jerk wings she said 15 minutes. When I came back in the wings were orange and not like the mild honey jerk that I got before. So I said i don’t think these are the flavoring asked for. She replied you said mild honey garlic I responded and told her no I don’t like that flavor I’m sure I said mild honey jerk. So she got smart and took the wings to who I assume is the male owner and said “she said she wanted mild honey garlic now she saying she wants mild honey jerk” with a sassy undertone. The man tells the kitchen staff to RETOSS my wings in mild honey jerk . The lady took no accountability that she could’ve made an error which she did . Those wings were very VERY SALTY . Overall terrible Service and TERRIBLE wings and I ended up throwing the wings away because of the saltiness.

Ok so the lemonade is delicious, the fried corn was great too, but my wings… they were not cooked long enough to the point they were chewy and the sauce was not it. I’ll come back but I definitely recommend sticking to basic flavors and requesting your wings fried the way you like. Hopefully I can come back and update with a better review.

The wings are delicious!!! Perfect size!! That red velvet cake is the BEST!!!! Love this spot!!!

Great wings but you must get there before 7pm, not a late night place Wings are seasoned nicely. Price is in line with other wing joints. Highly recommend trying the Peach Krack beverage. It will amp you up from the sugar.

Well let me start off by saying this was one of my favorite wing spots ever! However, today I was very disappointed! I ordered a 10 piece dirty box, a two piece fish combo, and just a two piece fish... my daughter went in and picked up the food, if it had been myself they would've had to refund my money or recook this fish. It's so dark I knew as soon as I open the box they needed to change the grease in the fryer. I still tried to be positive, I said to myself maybe it's the type of batter they use... I've never had their fish, just for me to pick it up and it fell apart even though it looked crispy. I took a small bite of the piece left in my hand, for it to taste so fishy I spat it out. This is unacceptable considering you guys are a long ways from cheap. I spent $34, just to get home and have to give it to the dog. The wings were ok... just ok.

I have been here three times in two weeks. I've tried three different flavors and in the picture that is the dirty box which means your fries are tossed in the same sauce as your wings. It's so good! Always piping hot. My food is ready in about 10 minutes each time. There isn't anywhere to sit; you just stand and wait for your friend which is fine with me. The music being played while waiting is great. I will continue to eat here if I am on this side of town!

Fresh fish and chicken was good n fast the juices are good. The service was fast n friendly and quick. This is a to go spot of you need a quick bite.

HLPR WINGS Are amaaaazing! The service is great. Only thing is I wish they had homemade ranch and blue cheese just the generic premade dressings. Overall the wings are a 10/10.

Some of the best food is found next to a gas station for some random reason lol. Wanted to try a new wing place, and finally went to Wings on Wheat. The wings were really good (crispy and flavorful). The fish was ok and I should've ordered the "wow fries"... I would definitely recommend if your looking for some good wings

Visited March 2020 (COVID REVIEW) Decent wings! I found myself in Stockbridge hungry and reviews led me to Wings on Wheat. I called in my order and 10 minutes later I was pulling into a shell gas station lot (Wings on Wheat is attached). The interior is bigger than I thought with many tables and service was fast for my to go order. I ordered: 10 piece wings ($5) Peach Krack ($2) Blue cheese ($0.50) For their $5 10 piece, you're locked in with 1 flavor, but my 1 flavor was still a combo of lemon pepper and ranch, something i've never tried but it worked! Wings were crispy, VERY flavorful and admittedly small but at $0.50 a wing, I didn't mind so much. These were decent wings that I enjoyed tearing up. The Peach krack was something I got because every body talked about how great it was in the reviews. The flavor was peachy, but man was this drink SWEET. Take the sweetest sweet tea from any part of the south and it's not sweet to the level of peach krack sweet. I ended up watering it down and drinking it over a couple of days. Parking here is fine with the gas station lot and it's not hard to find, being at the corner of Mt. Zion Pkwy and Fielder road. If I lived anywhere close to the Stockbridge area, Wings on wheat would be a go to wing spot for me. Check it out if you're in the area

Best chicken tenders in the game. The wings are awesome too. They have a bunch of great flavor options and the fries are top notch. Try them tangy fries And don't forget the Peach Krack drink to complete the experience

I really enjoyed it. Sauce was on point too. Would definitely recommend for those who are curious. Ask for crispy to get that added crunch.

OMG!!! This place was AMAZING!!! If you want some good wings it's a must that you stop HERE!!! On top of that they provided great customer service definitely out of 5/5!!!!

I rate them a 4 because I order the same thing every time, honey lemon pepper ranch wings and peach krack to drink. The wings are fried to perfection. No need to say extra crispy and wet because they are. ESY there at least once a week. Some people may not like the small wings but i so appreciate them. I do not like huge wings... yuck

They're charging a processing fee for cards now and even though the flavors are still A1 these wings are like baby chicken knuckle small it's crazy

I must honestly state those wings are some of the best wings I have ever tasted in a very long time. It's very important my food is served hot, and the wings and fries were very hot and tasty. I also ordered the fish which was delicious!!! I will definitely order from them again. Also, they had superior customer service.

I've seen this spot pop up quite often in my suggestions and I decided to try it one day when I was craving wings. I usually frequent American Deli or Golden Wings but wanted to try something new. Imagine the look on my face when I read the menu and they say 20 wings for $10. It's exactly the face you're making. I got some fries and the drink and my total was still only $15 a gigantic meal enough for two (..though I ate it by myself...). It'd be even cheaper if you didn't split the flavors! They have over like two flavors to choose from, so just ask for a recommendation! I've yet to try the other menu items like the fish, but I am quite positive those are good too! The wings are crispy, juicy, and flavorful. They tend to be on the smaller side, but for the amount of wings you're getting it's pretty negligible. I took a picture of the Peach Krack like this because it is indeed a HOLY drink. I don't know about you, but I never get a wings combo from ANYWHERE without getting a cup of the peach drink. It's like tradition, and sure enough the Peach Krack at WoW definitely hit the spot. The wait time during the weekday is definitely manageable but if you're coming on the weekend and if you're ordering a large amount -- call in ahead by 30 minutes maybe even an hour ahead! It is connected to the gas station, so parking will be packed and limited.

The $6 fish sandwich lmao this is unbelievable no sauce no lettuce no nothing. I wouldn't even give this to a homeless person. The only thing good is the peach drink.

This hidden gem is tucked away attached to a gas station. Crowded but still able to get parking. Dining room is closed so you have to take it to go but we saw a couple of folks DEVOURING their wing tailgate style in the parking lot. Staff is super friendly and food is 'OMG Good'. Fried Fish - 6/5 ... so good it didn't need hot sauce Chicken Tenders - 4/5 flavor was amazing Wings - 5/5 cooked hardish and crispy just like I like them...these are the flavors I tried and highly recommend: Honey Lemon Pepper Ranch*** Hot Honey Garlic Medium Lemon Pepper Honey Lemon Pepper

This place is not your typical wing joint. They have the absolute best combinations of flavors. The honey LP ranch is to die for!!! That peach crack is just what it says it is, not that I have ever had crack or peach crack..... but with what I know of addictive behaviors.....it leaves you with a taste for more. The home fries are !!!! Man just come eat with these folks!!!! You can't go wrong. I can't speak on nothing else there but what I have had and what I have had is quite delish and very memorable!!!!

Love the wings, whiting and WOW fries!! This location is attached to a gas station so it seems a bit "hole in the wall-ish". I order ahead online. And don't forget the peach crack!! Definitely will give a slight elevation in your blood sugar levels but the flavor is soo gooooooood!!! Downside Ur charged for everything except the small amt of napkins ur allowed. Example, the only sauce that you get is what is on the wings. If u want ranch or blue cheese, it's extra. Same with fish... u want tartar they need mulah.

Haven't been since COVID. I love local family-owned Mom/Pop places. This is that. Over 35 flavors-which to choose? Got two 20-piece specials-one sweet chili and one honey mustard. Both flavors were so good! Ate all 20 of mine in one sitting. Plenty of fries in the container as well. Fifteen minutes on a Saturday night and I had dinner. Paid what they said I owed in cash. Didn't get a receipt when offered. Later (after they were closed) I was doing a review and noticed pricing. My order should have been $33 plus tax (added two blue cheese). I paid $42. They're closed Sunday/Monday. Wife said I was out of luck. Tuesday, I went in and spoke to Kiki. Halfway through my tale, she had the register open and was handing me $7! Looking further, she discovered the mistake. Two drinks were on my order instead of 2 dips. That was the difference. No "so sad-too bad" without proof. Just stellar customer service. Great food, great service; live here or in the area, stop in and you won't be disappointed!

I use to frequent this place a lot but it seems like I'm an effort to save a dollar they don't change the grease often and it shows in the food. Since I've been going over the past year the fries would be super greasy and hard, like they were sitting out all day and warmed up to serve. And the chicken tastes like it's been cooked in old grease with fish.

The skin of the Chicken tenders was literally sliding off the meat.. (asked for crispy) tenders were very thick to, the fries were also soggy. This place actually use to be good so idk what happened.

The name Wings On Wheat comes from a menu option that was offered at the AUC Stegall's. Those who matriculated at one of the colleges probably remember. The hot chicken wings served with wheat bread often more than satisfied your hunger especially if on a limited budget. We would often hit Stegall's daily for something. This restaurant is nothing like the restaurant that so many AUC students loved. The seasoning options were plentiful and I chose the Honey Lemon Pepper. Unfortunately, they missed the mark. The wings were small, cold, and lacked flavor. I understand that everyone's pallet is different and flavor is subjective however 1 star is as generous as I can be. To the Wings on Wheat ownership/management please take this constructive criticism as an opportunity to go back to the drawing board. I understand that everyone has bad days so I will try again and update my review.

I ordered the whole wings. They were delivered to me and inedible. I have never had an establishment to sell burnt chicken wings. Unacceptable. Then I called to complain about the burnt wings. I was told that they were not giving me my money back and were not interested in hearing my complaint. Never again. And had the nerve to tell me I wasn't getting a refund. I'll show them. My bank has already stopped payment on them nasty burnt salty wings. This place sucks.

So I heard about this place from a very good friend of mine on Facebook, so I thought I'll travel over to the restaurant after work. I'm glad i did! I called my order in (it was a bit frustrating because the menu on yelp wasn't correct) but all in all I ordered 2pc whiting fish w/ fries & 10 pc hot wings, all for $12. The sauce on the hot wings were homemade it's not that generic buffalo sauce it's actually pretty tasty! The fries were so good & the fish tasted very good and was seasoned perfectly! I wish they were closer but maybe the Mount Zion area is good for them hence the prices for the food is so cheap. Try it, it's worth the trip!

Loved this lil place! I tried the honey lemon pepper ranch wings since everybody kept saying how bangin they were. I can attest, they were tasty as hell!! The combo made for a diverse flavor. Can't wait to get them again!

Everyone from my job eats here for their wings!! Wings are always hot and the order is complete! Nice size wings. Still can't eat inside the restaurant. The lunch specials are good. However when start to change things they up charge a lot. Overall good wings

Waited like 30 mins, Ordered honey lemon pepper ranch wings, wow fries and a peach krack slushie. The wing size was a joke. Really small with no meat but the flavor was great, the wow fries are good and the slushie was bomb. But the wings are kinda sad. 7/10 overall, I'd come back tho

This dirty box is absolutely AMAZING and I've never had wings and fries this food in my life!!! The peach krack is exactly what it says..... KRACK ! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!!! Wings and tenders are well cooked and seasoned. My only suggestion is that the fries be separated so that they don't get covered in wing sauce. When I visit the area again, I will definitely return here but I would probably not get fries. I would also pick my order up in case there are errors because DD doesn't correct errors.

I was just at this location and I am in disbelief that I was being charged for condiments that suppose to go with the food for example I ordered fish and they wanted to charge me for tarter sauce???? I have a problem with this how can you charge for condiments that go with the food you ordered!!!!! I WILL NOT COME TO WINGS K. WHEAT AGAIN!!!! No matter how good the food maybe let's be REAL?????? You are getting over on customers!!!!!

Wasn't able to try the food because they weren't taking orders for another two hours after the advertised open time. When another customer spoke up about it, the women behind the counter got rude with her and starting going back and forth, stating "oh I got time today". Really wanted to try the food but I can't spend money at a place that is so rude to their customers.

I came here with my sister Monica, and we just sat and talked! We both ordered the 20 pc special with the infamous peach crack!! I ordered the teriyaki lemon pepper and she ordered the honey lemon. The only reason why they are 1 star from 5 is bc you can't split the special flavors! The space was a bit crowded and tables were a bit small but it was enough for just us! This is one of my favorite wing spots besides American Deli!

I ordered a 10 piece whiting fish order today around 1pm or so crispy. When I picked up the fish I noticed slight smoke in the back as if the oil was old. When I got home, the fish had a metallic burnt taste to it clearly the result of old oil. The fish was not burnt but the oil gave the fish a burnt taste. I called the store, and the manager asked what do I want to solve issue. I wanted to bring the fish back and get a new 10 piece or my money back. The manager said oh no cooking another 10 piece would mess up their inventory and she could give a 2 piece to replace a 10 piece whiting order. I was like really, just give me a refund. She then said all orders are final no refund. At one point I was coming in every week for the fish is good, but I work hard for my money and if this business has no respect for the people that make them successful, I will no longer support them. I demand respect and good customer service especially being a repeat customer. I am highly disappointed and feel utterly disrespected as a person and consumer. Please do better with customer service.

I've been coming here for years but never again after today. The wings have gone up from 20 wings for $10 to 20 wings for 14$ plus a fee for using your card to pay. The wings have always been good so I went ahead and ordered anyway with the 40% price increase. My 20 wings were so small and dry/burnt they didn't even fill up half of a to-go box. They were literally one bite wings that ended up in the trash because they were hard as rocks.

I have been here a few times and should have left a review months ago. I've lived in Stockbridge for over 5 years and must have passed this restaurant a million times, but I read the reviews and decided to try it, so here's my take on Wings on Wheat GOOD: There are simply too many flavors, but I think I've tried 3. My favorite is the sweet chili wings and the others weren't bad either I just fell in love with the sweet chili wings. They have a drink called peach crack, and although it's not that good to me (too sweet) I have a friend who absolutely love it! GREAT: Customer service has always been pleasant and there's never been a long wait for food. You can call your order in and it's ready when you arrive. They have other menu items that are also delicious. The fish is good & there chicken wings are tasty. They have a $10 special that includes 20 wings & fries (no split orders) and there is no other restaurant with a deal on wings like that, so definitely order the special. BAD: Although the $10 special is a good deal... they get you with paying $0.50 for ranch/blue cheese. No these do not come with the meal, so get pissed now & pay over $2 for your favorite dipping sauce. Another thing I don't like is the under cooked fries... if you like soft fries; then don't change a thing, but I always ask them to fry my French fries crispy. UGLY: The only negative I can say about this establishment is their ladies bathroom needs a lock on the door! So to wrap things up I will definitely return (As I have for a few times already), but I will use the bathroom prior to my visit. So go & enjoy their unlimited flavors!

I've been going here since I was in high school and Since my school was just down the street, my friends and I just walked to share a whole box of wings and fries for just only $10. This place is the best for a quick wing fix.

Started from tye bottom now were here! Ask the owner how he got started. Great story. Wings and fish are good. A lady makes pound cakes (she does several different kind) for them. I have only tried the pound cake and it's good and moist. The fries are just okay. That Damn peach crack drink is good but too sweet. Give them a try. Since I'm in a good mood, I'll leave you with a tip. Phone your order in homie!
