The 13 Best Restaurants In Mendocino - Mendocino - The Infatuation

"Wingspan Coffee is a tiny cafe with a simple menu of espresso and matcha (locals know to bring your own mug and stay a while on the benches out front). We like to grab a cortado or latte and take it for a morning stroll along the coastal path. Or, since there’s no food here, pick up a danish from Garden Bakery around the corner." - julia chen 1

This cute spot serves up some really good espresso and milk drinks. As a coffee roaster myself, I'm super picky, and while I appreciate different styles of espresso, this is truly great, putting the full fruity flavors of the beans on display (if I had to guess it's am Ethiopia heavy blend). They do a good job balancing roast level and flavor with the beans flavor I'd call it in the medium range (and in this dark roast heavy area, that's a delight). I recommend this spot!

Great new coffee stand tucked off the main drag, don’t let that stop you. The focus here is coffee! I had a nice sweet cappuccino. There’s ample room to gather with kids and pups, bench seating and tables. Not a huge menu, and no mocha’s, at our visit. I’ll be back.

Best Cappuccino Ever! We stopped by this coffee shop on our way home, and I’m so glad we did! I ordered a cappuccino, and it was one of the best I’ve ever had - perfectly balanced, rich, and incredibly smooth. If you’re a coffee lover, you need to try this place. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Google
This is an amazing little coffee shop with a super cool vibe. The espresso drinks are simple and delicious, and the quality and care given to each drink is noticeable. There is a cute outdoor patio space with plenty of seating, on a sunny day, it can't be beat. Love this gem of a coffee shop along the coast, it's very special and sweet.

The perfect cortado only made better meeting the ladies who run Wingspan. Grab a drink and walk through the winding paths to the headlands to enjoy your coffee with the best view in CA. It made my day to discover this incredible new coffee option in the village 🥰

Small hole in the wall with a Marzocco machine. There’s no food, nor a bathroom. Just some seating in the back. Coffee is served in takeout cups. But the espresso drinks are quite good.

Google
Excellent coffee - by far the best in the area. The espresso was delicious and the barista was nice enough to make me an off menu flat white. Will stop by again.

A cup of coffee feels just right in a cozy, not-too-busy place to gather

Yelp
This place is next to Corners. Best for a cortado (espresso with a splash of milk), so luscious there's no need to add sugar. A mini shot of joy.

Yelp
I love their logo and the space they've created on Ukiah Street. The coffee is richly flavored. The menu is centered on coffee itself; syrupy drinks and mochas aren't available. The coffee is so good I could skip a mocha this one time. Behind the kiosk they've created lovely sitting space with benches and a few tables. Centrally located, great service, friendly people and great coffee.

Yelp
Let me start with the good things: the location is super cute, and it was open. That's it. My niece and I were out exploring with my great-nephew and wanted coffee. Pretty much everywhere else was closed so we decided to try this cute new place. We each had an iced chai (only one size), mine had oat milk. I prefer vanilla in mine. She said she didn't have any flavors. None at all?? How can you sell espresso drinks and not even have the basic three syrups? No straws--not even paper ones. I couldn't even taste the chai because all I was getting was ice. My niece enjoyed her chai, but we were both frustrated by the $14 cost. I try to support small businesses but even the outrageously expensive Starbucks costs less than that, and I get a Venti with vanilla syrup. ALL that aside, the woman making the drinks (I can't even call her a barista with that setup) was not friendly at all. I won't be back.

Yelp
Small shop with some outdoor seating. Pretty small menu with no flavor syrups or sweeteners, just honey. But they have minor figures oat milk which is so good in matcha! The hot matcha latte was not bad but not the best ever

Yelp
Meh. Chai very mediocre and was barely luke warm. I asked politely if there was a way to make a bit warmer - the dismissive and not so nice employee said "no it will destroy the milk." It was seven dollars. Walked away feeling cheated. Didn't want to make a big stink and be that person. So I'll be that person on yelp skip this spot.

Yelp
Pretty good coffee! Lots of outdoor seating and places to hangout, if the weather is good. Walk back to the blue building. Menu is short and simple - not any flavor options for lattes, but our barista recommended a honey cinnamon latte for some sweetness, and that was good. This is a simple coffee place for people who love a plain drink, not for anyone who likes a specialty order or a sweet drink.

Yelp
We came here because they had 5-star reviews. Appears to be a newish cafe. We ordered 2 lattes and despite the advertised price of $6.50 (ouch), we were charged $14.00 for 2 10 ounce coffees. They were bland and lukewarm. The barista, despite having no other customers, was not inviting or appreciative. We were sorely disappointed.

Yelp
Hidden behind Folklore, in the backyard, is a small blue structure with great tasting espresso drinks! Very limited drink menu but, Amazing!!!
