This two-storey building is spacious and fully air-conditioned. The second floor features an art gallery that is free to visit. There is also plenty of free parking available for customers. Surprisingly, there was a special Tesla test-drive booth available until December 27th. Those who take a test drive receive a RM20 voucher for the restaurant (valid with a minimum spend of RM200). We ordered the pork stomach soup, otak-otak, and stir-fried vegetables. The soup is light and not overpowering with pepper; it comes with chicken, pork stomach, carrots, and ginkgo nuts. The otak-otak is flavorful, and the veggies are okay. Their sambal is good. The service here is truly top-notch and attentive. I accidentally spilled my soup, and the staff immediately came over to clean it up. I also appreciated that while I was browsing the gallery, a staff member came up to inform me once our food was served. They even escorted us to our car with umbrellas because of the rain after dinner. We will definitely be back to try more of their dishes next time!

Had a wonderful dinner at Winn Café Penang! We ordered the Tao Yu Bak, Assam Tumis, Assam Prawn, Inchi Kabin, and Egg Omelette. The highlight was definitely the Tao Yu Bak — rich, well-seasoned, and perfect with rice (though the pork could have been a little more tender, possibly due to the meat being slightly overcooked or not fully thawed). The Assam Prawn was bursting with umami and flavour, while the Inchi Kabin was fried to crispy perfection without being oily. Service was warm and attentive — the staff even offered us a private room, which made the dining experience extra comfortable and cosy. Total bill came up to around RM340++ for 4 pax, which we felt was reasonable for the quality and portions. Definitely worth a visit when you’re in Penang!

Nice nyonya food & can park in the compound but double park. Better to make a reservation in advance. Portion is a lil small but just nice to order a lot of varieties and try different taste. Ulam rice, petai with prawn, bangkuang char, assam prawn was nice. Service was very good, we get free nyonya kuih & they served warm water at the end.

My first impression was that it was a café, but a friend recommended it and told us it’s actually a Nyonya restaurant. We ordered a few simple dishes and they were all quite nice. The fried egg was especially delicious — it was my favourite.

A must-visit eatery whenever the family’s in town for some old-school, authentic Nyonya food. For my mum, the flavours here always bring back fond memories of her granny’s cooking. It’s comfort, tradition, and nostalgia all in one spot.

- Good: nasi ulam, nutmeg drink (homemade) and malacca sugar sago dessert. - Alright: assam curry fish tasted sweeter than expected. - Overall, the dishes were alright only; I did not find their meals to be unique.

Amazingly delicious Peranakan food. Every dish we had was excellent. The Tau Yew Bak in particular was outstanding. An additional plus point, the husband and wife running the restaurant are friendly and are happy to talk about their dishes or the photographs on the walls of the restaurant.

Sampled the Nyonya fare—presentation was appealing, though flavors lacked the depth and punch characteristic of the cuisine. Service was gracious and attentive, with a cozy ambiance that complemented the meal. Pricing remains fair, making it a pleasant stop though not the most memorable for the palate.
