Had a wonderful dinner at Winn Café Penang!
We ordered the Tao Yu Bak, Assam Tumis, Assam Prawn, Inchi Kabin, and Egg Omelette. The highlight was definitely the Tao Yu Bak — rich, well-seasoned, and perfect with rice (though the pork could have been a little more tender, possibly due to the meat being slightly overcooked or not fully thawed). The Assam Prawn was bursting with umami and flavour, while the Inchi Kabin was fried to crispy perfection without being oily.
Service was warm and attentive — the staff even offered us a private room, which made the dining experience extra comfortable and cosy.
Total bill came up to around RM340++ for 4 pax, which we felt was reasonable for the quality and portions.
Definitely worth a visit when you’re in Penang!
