"The recently renovated Winslow’s Wine Cafe is a beloved neighborhood bistro known for its cozy atmosphere, extensive wine list, and delicious American cuisine. It’s an easy drop-in spot to grab a bite and glass of wine after a long day and offers a welcoming atmosphere for a date night. It has a great selection of small plates, wood-fired pizzas, and entrees like chicken Milanese and the house-favorite Joe B’s Pasta. Outside of dinner, it has become well known for a great happy hour selection of small bites, wines by the glass, and cocktails, along with their weekend brunch." - Michael Ellington

Winslow's on Camp Bowie is an absolute brunch gem, and it deserves every one of these five stars! From the moment you walk in, the vibe is just perfect – lively without being overwhelming, with a chic and comfortable atmosphere that makes you want to settle in for hours. But the real star of the show is the excellent food choices. Their menu goes beyond your typical brunch fare, offering creative and delicious dishes that cater to all tastes. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. What truly elevates Winslow's, though, is the professional staff. Every team member we encountered was attentive and genuinely friendly. A special shout-out goes to our waiter, Marty. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, offered fantastic recommendations, and ensured our glasses were always full without ever being intrusive. His service was truly top-notch and made our experience even more enjoyable. Winslow's is now our go-to brunch spot. If you're looking for fantastic food, a great atmosphere, and impeccable service (especially from Marty!), you absolutely have to check this place out. You won't be disappointed!

"We had an amazing dinner here! The ribeye was tender and flavorful, and the pasta dish was creative and expertly prepared. But the real showstopper was the dessert - it was decadent and divine. Can't wait to come back!"

Google
We celebrated a friend's birthday here. We love sitting on the covered patio when it is nice weather. It is very quaint. The wait staff is quite excellent and very attentive. The food is always fabulous. Most of us had the Winslow's salad with either chicken or salmon.

Bradley Nolet

Google
Nice experience and was able to accommodate our larger party for a corporate dinner. Our server Nick started tonight and was great! Only issue was with the variety of the menu - they were lacking on vegan option.

Google
Bring your wallet. You better hit Happy Hour. Service was good, plenty of room. Atmosphere was very pleasant. I would not say that you get what you pay for. It's priced too high. Don't get me wrong the food was cooked great, Hors O'oeuvres were also good.

Travis

Google
My lady and I came here for happy hour. We got the tacos, deviled eggs and brisket quesadillas. All were very flavorful. The server was knowledgeable about the food and drinks.

Emily M

Google
The food was delicious! I really enjoyed the pizza and charcuterie board. We got there during happy hour and it felt like we were being rushed. Other than that, it was great

Vernon Curry

Google
The wife set out to create a date night during these times and stumbled upon this location. The place was small, quaint and, as she says, cute. The staff was well knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations. The food was amazing. We'll definitely return for more.

Yelp
Great patio weather calls for brunch at Winslow's! It's always fun to enjoy their food when we are in town from Dallas. I loved the taste of their updated menu and specifically thought the ribeye breakfast tacos were out of this world! Thanks Winslows!

Amenda K.

Yelp
I visited Winslow's for a friend's birthday with a party of 12 guests. It was great that we had a private room (with a reservation). However, the service was on the slower side. I had to wait about 7-10 minutes longer for my pizza after everyone else had their food. While that's understandable for a large party, it was still a bit frustrating. That said, the servers were very kind and even cut the birthday cake for us, which was a nice touch. I ordered the Jim Bowie pizza. Pretty decent. I enjoy BBQ chicken pizza, so it was a solid choice. I'd rate this spot 3.5 stars. It wasn't particularly memorable, but I'd be open to returning and trying more of their menu. There is minimal lot parking, but they do offer valet. Overall, Winslow's is a nice option for birthday celebrations, a girls' night out, or a date night. I'd be happy to give it another try!

Yelp
Not sure why you'd post a giant sign outfront with a giant phone number.....if......you're not going to answer the phone... I've called at least 5 times....after 2pm everyday this week...also tried their contact info on Google.... I really was looking forward to their Thanksgiving Buffet. But....like...I'm not going to beg.

Jon L.

Yelp
We ordered the crabcakes, the rib eye steak, two chicken dishes, and several salads. And the beef tips. Everything was prepared great and we had a delightful time and can't wait to go back.

Liz G.

Yelp
We've been on the search for really good pizza here in Fort Worth... and we've found what - for our pizza desires - is the absolute best pizza in town. Winslow's is a quaint little wine bar with an incredible patio on Camp Bowie with not only pizza and wine, but a robust menu of that ranges from charcuterie boards and other appetizer options to wood fired pizzas and other larger entrees. I want to go back to try more and also go to their weekend brunch. Their Happy Hour is generously timed from 4-7 Tuesday thru Saturday and then from 4 to close on Sundays. That Happy Hour menu is a perfect list of menu favorites from drinks to appetizers to select pizzas at great prices. Service was outstanding, even when they had to rush to put the patio cover on when the rain started pouring. Our waiter, David, was a superstar.

Tonya K.

Yelp
Had a fun girl's brunch! Bianca pizza was very tasty along with the fig & prosciutto pizza. Apps were good (hummus, salami/cheese tray). Expresso martini hit the spot. Patio was nice as whether was cool and shade was perfect. Menu could use maybe some seasonal rotations to keep it fresh. Service was overall pleasant.

Claire C.

Yelp
The food was fairly good. The deviled eggs tasted as though they had "Bacon Bits" from a bag on them and not real bacon. The Chicken Toscana was easily the best thing we got. That I'll give a 10/10. My biggest complaint about this place was the gnats. My goodness the gnats. Every couple seconds myself and my boyfriend were distracted by the flying insects right in front of our face. When it came time to eat, I couldn't even stand to finish my meal at the restaurant due to the number of little black gremlins swarming my meal. I would recommend management do something about that as it really turned us off from wanting to come back.

Danielle G.

Yelp
Cute little place. Limited seating but great vibes. All the food we tried was amazing. We will be coming back. We started with the Winslow's salad. I didn't say separate it but they did already and charged a split charge of $2. Loved the flavor and all the ingredients. We also had a cup of tomato basil soup. It was very rich. For entrees he got the burger...so many flavorful flavors and it comes with truffle fries. We also got the salmon that came on top of spinach, mushrooms and a cream sauce. This was also very rich along with our side of Mac & cheese. Kids would love as well as adult kids. Can't wait to come back and try other entrees.

Yelp
Winslows is walkable from our daughter's new home, and we popped in after helping with some unpacking. On an unseasonably warm November evening, we sat on the patio by a fire pit, joining several other tables with the same idea. Indoor tables looked charming too, with another bar and room with a pizza oven. Our server Easton did a great job, we ordered a couple bottles of wine, truffle panko mac, and a couple pizzas to share. I enjoyed the fig prosciutto and we also had a yummy margarita pizza to share. Cute building on a busy corner and they offer valet parking.

Amy D.

Yelp
Date night at Winslow's! We came the eve of New years Eve and it was busy. Luckily, we got a table close to their wood fire brick oven, which added to the ambiance. It was happy hour, so I ordered the truffle fries and the pecan seasonal old fashion. We also ordered the meatballs, bbq pizza, and a glass of Robert Hall Cabernet. My old fashion was way too sweet. Our waitress told me it was sweet, so I asked for them to make it less sweet. Unfortunately, I had to ask for them to remake it. Later, I found on the bill that I was charged the full amount for the drink instead of the happy hour price. My husband's cabernet was delightful. The truffle fries were crisp and full of truffle flavor. The meatballs were truly the best I've had in years. Packed with Italian seasoning, juicy and tender, and then smothered in the best marinara sauce. The waitress asked us if we wanted more bread for the sauce, and we said yes. Later, I found out we were charged $2 for the extra bread. Our pizza arrived next, and oh my gosh, it was awesome. The jalapeño was spicy, haha, but I really enjoyed the heat. We did have a side of ranch to help, and I needed it. Every jalapeño is different, so it might be different for you, but try it as it was made first and then decide to take off the jalapeños. Lastly, we got a lemon and blueberry bread pudding to go. It is the reason I'm writing this review. It was the best damn bread pudding I've had in my life. Creamy, soft, and balanced in flavor. The mint and lemon make this usually overly sweet and heavy dessert to be comforting and refreshing. Hats off to the chef! Overall, go have a date night at Winslow's. They have delicious bites that will surely make you happy, and if that doesn't do it, the wine will.

Brittany L.

Yelp
I'm STILL obsessed with this place! A girls night is just what I needed and I'm so glad I picked this place for us! Food is delicious and they recommend the perfect wine with your dinner! Totally worth it.

Toni S.

Yelp
Food was excellent! The Winslow's Salad was enjoyed by 4 out of 5 diners at our table. The odd man out had the Wedge which looked amazing but no bites were offered. Pepperoni pizza was flavorful and a delightful texture. Host & hostess were friendly as well as the valets. Waitress was a bit scattered but attentive. Several of the party were concerned about patio seating on a cold and rainy day but everyone stayed warm and dry.

Barb C.

Yelp
The service was good, but we asked for the charcuterie at happy hour and were discouraged to find an additional $17 for meat (which we were not told were add on items). The wine was very nice!

Malinda D.

Yelp
We went on a Sunday afternoon; it was slow, and our waiter was also the hostess, so we didn't get much service, but the food was delicious, and the presentation was very nice. We had the fig and prosciutto pizza, tuna salad, deviled eggs, and two cocktails.

Veronica R.

Yelp
I would give zero stars if possible... horribly slow service, profiled and my party of 6 was sat in a lonely room upfront that smelled bad and gave half my party allergies. Food was of poor quality (tasted like as if out of a box) and extremely small for the price. We ordered 3 pizzas and it seemed like the crust was bought frozen and then just splattered toppings on top. Nope!! Our salad was brown and wilted. I don't understand why reviews are ok, or if we just got poor service and crappy food because we were not of a certain race. Go elsewhere y'all! So much better food around

Lara M.

Yelp
We needed a place to stop for a bit before an event in Camp Bowie. We wanted a glass of wine. We had never been here before. It was cozy and had great service. We sat at the bar but plan to go back for a bite as well.

Will T.

Yelp
The parking is an absolute disaster, the food was way overpriced and average at best, and the service was very slow and not great.

Grace R.

Yelp
The food was pretty good, and so was the service, but it was way too noisy i couldn't hear anything inside.

Christina T.

Yelp
What a great visit with my girls! The food is always a 5 at Winslow's but sometimes the service is a 3.... and that was pre-covid. But let me tell you something- David was fantastic! 5 stars across the board. They have happy hour until 7pm which is nice. This includes some appetizers, the featured white, red, bubbly and cocktail. I went with the red of the day which was a pinot noir. It was a generous pour for $8. We started with truffle fries for the table - great flavor but a little limp this visit. We also tried the fried avocado. Not really my thing but others really enjoyed. My entree was the trout with grilled asparagus and it was outstanding. I'm salivating thinking of it. David said it started as a special but was so popular that it is now regularly on the menu. Reservations aren't accepted for parties under 6. Valet parking is offered as they have very few self parking spaces available. Do NOT park on Clover Lane. Be sure to enjoy the patio before it gets too hot out.

Charlie G.

Yelp
We went on a Friday evening. She had the meatballs, super spicy with garlic. I had the chicken Milanese; the chicken was overcooked, and the pasta was super salty. The decent food was the marscapone goat cheese app....but why put the bread in the cheese to get soggy. Just moved to downtown, but this one is, 'one and done'!

Scott C.

Yelp
Excellent, friendly service. Great wine and food. A bit loud but that's expected with a lot of people inside. Can't wait to return.

Alex C.

Yelp
The entrance is like a facade. It's very unassuming from the outside. But once inside, it looks pretty high class, the wait staff are dressed like a fancy restaurant with excellent service, and they serve pizza! All the pizzas we got were delicious and not overdone in both cooking and flavor profile. A humble gem of a restaurant. Google calls them "New American fare" but they give strong Italian vibes to me.

Bryant G.

Yelp
Great neighborhood bar that has elevated food wine experience! Great to sit around the fire pit with friends after dinner with a nice cab and reviewing the day.

Dansa D.

Yelp
Perfect place for brunch or wine night, everyone that works here is a gem. Food is great- cocktails are great. Worth it!

Martha V.

Yelp
Ambience is wonderful for intimate dinner or book club brunch! I enjoy the freshness off all the ingredients. Service is good.

Stephanie L.

Yelp
Went for brunch & birthdays, and stayed 3.5 hours on the wonderful patio! Today pretty sums up a Perfect day! The Texas Hash no peppers & onion was a slam dunk dish! We got 2 orders & split then by 4 people! That brisket is so tender and flavorful with the poached egg on top! That's a secret to scream from the roof tops. Sunday happy hour @ 4:00 ...I'll be there every sunny & 70's Sunday!

Kailtyn M.

Yelp
was accused of throwing up in the bathroom by the manager after having a perfectly quiet evening with my family. their rude manager came up and said " who is driving" after our confusion I replied " I am?" she then said "well who threw up in the bathroom?" we had not left out outside table in at least 45 min. I wonder if she proceeded to ask all people eating if they threw up? I am absoulty shocked we were treated this way with absolute no reason. DONT GO HERE.

Larry M.

Yelp
Great food & service. Casual upscale. Pleasing wait staff! Neighbors are rude and don't like restaurant customers using the public streets to park buy park there anywhere!

Terri S.

Yelp
The food was great. But the service was lacking. We arrived and were told the kitchen would be closing soon. It was 8:30. This was after we waited 5-10 minutes for a server to arrive. The server was slow in bringing our wine also. After we finished our dinner , we were presented with the bill. We were not asked if we wanted anything else. The restaurant does not close until 11:00 pm. We were there about an hour. It felt like we were in the way. We have been there several times before because they have a dog friendly patio.

Kaylee L.

Yelp
Everything here is so good! I love their happy hour specials: pepperoni pizza, Mac n cheese, deviled eggs, and the wedge salad are all awesome. Love the brunch, too, and of course the wine! Dog friendly patio is a huge bonus. Scooby approves.

Addison T.

Yelp
Winslows has great ambiance and has an incredible wine selection. That being said, the food and service is not up to par. Our salads lettuce was very clearly not washed- it was covered in sand and even as I would drag my fork across the plate you could hear the grit. We got the meatballs appetizer, winslows salad, and the pepperoni pizza. they offer no coffee iced tea or hot drinks outside of brunch hours and our waitress did not come around but once or twice. The pizza was GREAT and had an amazing amount of pepperonis but the meatballs were cold (good flavor though) and the bread that came with was over toasted and dried out. Additionally the bathroom was out of toilet paper.

Michelle S.

Yelp
This place is amazing! Staff is friendly and pours are nice! I do wish they served wings though. Still highly recommend.

Shehan W.

Yelp
I went on a Sunday and the customers were diverse which I generally don't see in Fort Worth. The drinks were horrible. Do not get the Bloody Mary as it was only alcohol. The drinks came to the table right away --so maybe there were premade. The Paloma was watered down and had too much ice. I order a salmon with salad and the salmon was over cooked. The salad and fries were good. Our server forgot about us in the end, forgetting to bring our checks. I wouldn't come back to this restaurant, but I generally meet my Fort Worth/Grapevine friends near this location so I may reluctantly come back to visit.

Sabrina G.

Yelp
The food was ok. The service was subpar. They were out of almost everything (jalapeño biscuits, plates, mugs, etc). They had to bring us coffee in a to go cup because they didn't have any clean mugs. The mac and cheese was the smallest portion for a $14 appetizer! Not worth it. Very expensive and not the best. The place is small and cozy. The parking is horrific. We drove around for a long time and had to walk pretty far.

Tara P.

Yelp
The most amazing wine bar and restaurant. Their happy hour is the BEST - love their Bianca and Bowie pizzas. Cute patio. Amazing wine selection as well. Love you Winslows!!!

Reuben R.

Yelp
Wow. What happened here? I brought a friend here today whi was in town visiting and I had to keep apologizing to him and saying "It used to be better; and the prices" (which are now $5 to $10 per plate higher than 4 months ago) "are very reasonable". I mean I can understand price increases because things are higher but my friend is in the restaurant industry and he was flabbergasted when I showed him the difference in the prices on the website from the ones that were on the menu. Truly truly disappointed. I don't mind paying higher prices but I expect the good quality to reflect it. Unfortunately it did not. $8 for 2 pieces of bacon?? wtf?? Even their old price of $4 for 2 strips was insane. Not sure if they had an ownership change but if your goal is to lose your clientele by trying to overcharge them and using inflation to justify it is bad business. Guess at these prices they can afford to lose patrons.

Jennifer H.

Yelp
This is a real nice little place to meet friends or go on a a date . It's intimate and quiet and the food is amazing. Our waitress Samatha did a great job of serving us. She made sure our wine glasses were full and all our needs were met without being a nuisance. So much great food here can't wait to try more items on the menu. My friend had the salmon and couldn't stop raving about it. They have great wine selection, their happy hour wines for 6 dollars is a bargain! I ate their homemade pasta with meat sauce. It was one of the best pasta and meat sauces I have ever had. The meat sauce was spot on seasoned correctly. I didn't have the need to had anything to it! The pasta was outstanding! There is such an amazing difference when you eat homemade pasta from regular pasta!

Hannah S.

Yelp
I always forget about this place but it's so good! There's a wide variety of things to get so it's good for a crowd and they have a pretty good happy hour. They also have nice outdoor seating when the weather is nice. The only downside is the parking. Not a ton of places to park so you usually have to valet.

Liz C.

Yelp
The atmosphere, food and drinks are all amazing! It's a great place for happy hour with friends. Not to mention their dog-friendly patio with yummy fire pits! Winslow's is always consistent on there upstanding quality of food and service. With the temperature cooling down, the patio is a great place for an afternoon happy hour or just to grab some tranquility after a busy day at the office or home office!

Berenice G.

Yelp
9/10 I would definitely recommend for a date night!! The food was delicious, we had the bbq and the triple meat pizza. For drinks my bf had a old fashioned and I had the rose and pessimists wine. For dessert we had the chocolate mousse! It would go back just for that!!The service could have been a little better. They took a while to check up on us. But other than that it was a great time!

Jim B.

Yelp
Terrible brunch. The brisket hash was not smoked, it tasted like it came out of a crock pot. No flavor. Poached eggs were over cooked and solid. No hollandaise sauce as written in the menu. Calling it bad would be an insult to bad. Not going back.

Elizabeth D.

Yelp
This place was absolutely amazing!! Their wine as delicious and only $6 for HH! Plus, Sunday's it's from 4-10. My boyfriend and I came here for our 11 month anniversary and our waiter Christopher was so great!! He was so knowledgeable and was kind enough to answer all our extra questions! He made the 1/2 and 1/2 pizza a go!! The atmosphere and the music was so great and such a nice vibe!! We definitely want to come back, especially to sit by the fire.

Tyler T.

Yelp
Went for brunch and It was ok. Service was slow but considering recent events and the struggle most businesses have with finding labor maybe that should be considered. Food was decent but short of what I would expect when measured against the reviews.

Molly M.

Yelp
We have had a baby shower and come here for regular brunch as well. I've had their tacos and chicken and waffles and both are so good! Also highly recommend their mimosas! Will definitely be back! Service is excellent as well. Just a tip either valley or park a little ways away.

Sara S.

Yelp
Winslows is one of my neighborhood favorites. Not only is the wine selection good but the food and prices are worth it as well. Plus the management and servers are kind and helpful. Whether you want an intimate dinner or a larger friend gathering, this place can provide. Pro tip: always get a side of their fries!

Connie H.

Yelp
his is a cute little place with some history. Careful driving up for valet though because clearly, some cars had some trouble. The place used to serve another purpose before becoming Winslow, so the opening for valet might be a little more narrow than were used to. I came here for brunch after a visit to the garden. The host immediately greeted me and accommodated me as needed. Our server greeted us shortly and provided our menus. It's a small menu but I love that its minimal so that they can provide solidly good food by specializing. My food was good. My friend's food looked good, and according to him, was good as well. Our server was attentive to our needs and very cordial. Chill little place, great selection of solid good food, and attentive services. I'll be back!

Kristy L.

Yelp
Whoa, I am in disgust with the owner of this establishment! I came here a few months back and enjoyed everything besides the owner greeting my table. Tonight, I witnessed the most disgusting form of ownership, I've ever seen. The owner was screaming at the bartender on duty in front of the entire busy bar and guests that were dining on the inside. Not only was he screaming at the bartender, he was talking crap about everyone that worked there to the woman he was with ( I'm mortified for the woman, she looked so embarrassed.) This owner obviously doesn't care that everyone is looking for good help these days with how he disrespects his staff. I was willing to give this restaurant a second chance because my husband enjoyed it. But after seeing the owners behavior not once, but twice, we WONT be back!

Fred F.

Yelp
Fast, pretty interior, excellent wine, great servers, primo pizza crust. Valet park or find spot on side street. Good size Salads fresh with right amount of dressing.

Elizabeth G.

Yelp
A little busier than expected on a Tuesday due to a local concert. Happy hour wine and apps are a great deal. Loved the $6 house Pinot noir. Split truffle fries, short rib quesadilla, bbq pizza, and joe Bs pasta. Quesadilla was INCREDIBLE, as was bbq pizza. Should have got veggies but we were enticed by all the carbs. Would go again.
