Wioletta's Polish Market

Really enjoyed shopping at this store! The staff was really friendly and caring. I had 2 young kids and the woman at the checkout offered to help me get my items to my car. It was very nice and appreciated! Definitely will stop by again. They had all the Polish staples I was looking for.

I stopped into Wioletta's the day before Christmas Eve to pick up a holiday tradition - Kielbasa, or Polish Sausage as most know it. This hand-made meat is nothing like you find in grocery stores which generally is smoked and seasoned for a blander pallet in my opinion. Kielbasa is not "spicy," but it is distinctive, and you can smell it the moment you walk through Wioletta's door. Once inside, it's like shopping in the old neighborhood. (Most of Milwaukee's Polish restaurants have closed with only a few butchers or markets remaining. This one is filled with wonderful foods!) From meats to Perogies to cabbage rolls, soups & sweet treats, the store has more than you'd imagine even a curated liquor section. Make a trip and leave time to browse each aisle. Find your favorites and come back again and again. It's a trip back in time and a celebration of a people that helped build Milwaukee, but has faded.

I was disappointed to find expired products on the shelves. Customers shouldn’t need to double-check expiration dates on every item they purchase. During my shopping trip on February 1 2026, I bought Majonez Kielecki and biały ser. When I got home, I discovered the mayonnaise had expired 8 days prior and the white cheese had expired on January 31.

Stopped in at Wioletta’s with my mom and my son after his basketball games in Milwaukee, just wanting to support a local Polish bakery. My son and I were looking at the candy and set a couple of candy bars and some orange candies on the counter while I picked out some noodles and a few raspberry-cream-cheese pastries. The store was quiet — only one other customer — so it’s not like we were in anyone’s way. When I went up to pay, I asked where the candy bars and orange candies were that I had set aside. The man behind the counter said he “didn’t know those were yours” and had moved them — then got rude out of nowhere, saying I was being inconsiderate for putting them on his counter. Really? Heaven forbid a customer wants to buy something and then grab a few more items. I told him I wasn’t buying anything after how he acted, and he actually said, “Good — don’t.” Completely unprofessional and disrespectful. And honestly, I have a strong feeling he put the bakery pieces I touched right back out for sale afterward — which is disgusting if true. This place could’ve gained a few loyal customers, but instead left us with a really bad taste. Zero respect, zero professionalism — we won’t ever be back. Sunday November 9, 2025 Update after owner’s reply: I was nothing but polite until you snapped at me for simply setting my candy down while shopping. Your reply here speaks for itself. Thanks for confirming the experience I described — it just proves the rude attitude I experienced in person.

Great little neighborhood market with a number of Polish staples. Great mustard and pickled options. They have multiple types of kielbasa in the case. They also have a decent selection of European beers and liquors. I also have a nice array of artisan bread choices.

Wioletta’s Polish Market brought back childhood memories of the Polish market my family used to shop at when I was child in Toledo, OH. Wioletta’s had everything… and it was cool that almost everything was labeled in Polish. My grandma and mom would have loved this place. I can’t wait to go back and shop there again. My favorites are Polish Kielbasa, Stuffed Cabbage, and Red Borscht. I highly recommend Wioletta’s Polish Market!

Finally made it back to Milwaukee for dinner with friends. They suggested a stop at Wioletta's Market as I am always looking for the neighborhood markets of my earlier years growing up in Milwaukee. This store is a gem! I found many things to purchase; glad I had a cooler with me! Sausages that I thought were impossible to find. Great bread. They still had some Paczki available even though we were 3 days after fat Tuesday. I found the jelly candies my grandmother used to have that I haven't seen in decades. Wonderful mustard, polish liver pate, pickled mushrooms and many types of pierogi. Finally, black forest smoked bacon that can be eaten uncooked as is done in Poland and Germany. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The woman the handled my order at the deli counter had a huge laugh when I asked for a pound of one item and, on the first weighing, hit 1.000lb right in the mark! Can't wait to get back up to Wioletta's. And, I'm so happy to see places like this still exist. We need to support these local markets.

Greeted as soon as we stepped into this adorable market by two friendly employees. The layout is spacious, clean and packed full of absolutely delicious delightful products from Poland. There's literally something in here for everyone. I'd suggest you try the pierogies, garlic ham and black forest ham. OMG the flavor is insane, especially on a warm croissant with melted cheese. Let me not start raving about the snacks and candy too. So cool to have so many polish snacks right here in Milwaukee to try. Also, if you have Google translate or any translation app on your phone. You can easily translate the polish language written on the various packaging, to know what you're purchasing.

Great addition to Eastern European markets in Milwaukee that tend to disappear despite the huge populations here whose ancestors loved these foods and passed their recipes and appreciation on to subsequent generations.

Fresh polish is a garlic lover's dream! Blueberry Danish was dry and cakey. Grabbed a bag of chocolates which I thought was assorted but ended up colored wrappers meant nothing it was all the same odd candy.

Our meal was very Reasonably priced. The entrees included a cup of soup or house salad; I had the soup of the day( Tomato) very creamy and satisfying and above all not overly salted, my wife had the Cream of Mushroom, silky and not to "Heady"/spicy. Main course for me was the sampler plate, cabbage roll, roasted BBQ ribs, fresh Polish sausage riced potatoes, red cabbage with caramelized pork belly, and three Pirogies. My wife had the stuffed cabbage. Entree size was enormous. We also ordered the Pirogi sampler plate: Mushroom and Sauerkraut, pork, cheese and onions. Very nice dining experience. Will be back .

Wonderful selection of Polish food, great pastry and verity of beer. Attentive service and clean store.

Lots of goodness packed Into a small shop! We stopped in hopes of getting cabbage rolls for my MIL and found lots of other delicious things to bring home. They carry most of the essentials - snacks (Monster Munch FTW), candies, seasonings, picked veggies, fresh bread and baked goods. There's a big deli counter with plenty of polish specialties to enjoy, along with cold cases at the back filled with pierogies, homemade soup, cabbage rolls and more. If you go, they restock soup Tuesday afternoon and cabbage rolls on Friday. When they're out, they're out. The store was spotless and the prices were fair - I'll definitely be back. Edit: went back in and grabbed some of their soups. They taste just like my grandmas so this place is a winner!

So nice to not have to travel to Chicago for some of my favorite Polish goods and felt like I was back in a small Polish food market. They only opened towards the beginning of March and adding more and more items - keep an eye on their Facebook page. They have a variety of sausages (the kielbasa is delicious), pickles, dried mushrooms, seasoning packets, pierogis, baked goods, breads, etc... Plenty of street parking and friendly owners.

Pros: What I saw was a very clean, bright and modern space. I personally kept staring at the cool light fixtures! Three rows of shelves featuring quite an assortment goods- candies, sauces, tinned food and baking supplies. Two coolers at the back - one just for all flavor of pierogi, the other filled with polish butters and other goods. There's fresh baked breads and pastries as well as Polish themed clothing and toiletries. The deli case is large and filled with an array of meats. I imagine that if you can't find a specific ingredient of polish origin here, you won't find it anywhere in the city. No carts but there's plenty of wheeled shopping baskets for use at the front the store. Cons; Just a few. Parking is street only, the lot is for the restaurant next door. The layout by the deli counter felt cramped. If the store is busy just be aware so you don't skip a turn. I feel like there's room to grow but the current selection feels small in the large space of the store. But, Wioletta's just opened a month ago and I feel like they're here to stay. We stopped in near closing time but I'm interested to see if there are any changes in the coming months!

We love Wioletta's! It is so nice to have a Polish deli nearby. We have been multiple times and we always enjoy what we come home with. Their sausages are excellent, from cured meats to raw sausage. They have a beautiful selection of baked goods. My favorite is their amazing variety of pierogi! The customer service is wonderful and the atmosphere is pleasant and clean. Wioletta's is a hidden gem - if you haven't stopped by yet, you are missing out!

Great Polish market and deli. Friendly helpful staff to explain the items...many are labeled in Polish only. Great selection of deli meats and cheeses.

Been craving fresh polish sausage like I used to have at my great grandmas house & was recommended Wioletta's from a friend. Wow! This market more than exceeded my expectations. The polish sausage was some of the best fresh sausage I have ever had. You can't beat the price either. I will definitely be coming back here for more!

Love this place! The first time I walked in, I had tears in my eyes... It smelled just like my polish grandparents house did when I was a kid. It brought back great memories for me of them making homemade sausage in their basement. Of course I had to buy some polish sausages and they were wonderful. I love the poppy seed roll and their paczkis. Always a pleasure shopping here.

Stopped by on my way to the airport, and so happy I did. The Kabanosy was delicious as were all of the other sausages I bought. Wish lived closer. The staff was extremely friendly and just nice people.

I love Wioletta's Polish Market. I stop in about once a week for my favorites: dill pickle soup with potatoes, the rolls in the lower bakery bin, garlic and Black Forest hams, and the most delicious dessert I've ever had: Papal Cream Cake (made on Fridays and available until the slices are gone.)

Worth getting my exercise while walking for some delicacies and more. While at the beginning it may have been a bit sparse in selection I said wait to the naysayers and I was right. The owners have gradually procured and enhanced the store to include what is missing for those seeking Polish items. Tuesday and Friday are the delivery days for baked goods. The muffins are incredible and stay fresh and moist for days. The Portuguese rolls are a family favorite and must be replenished several times a week along with the garlic ham. I have found the Polish Vegetable salad to remind me of the old Fountain Blue Warsaw salad I always enjoyed. Wednesday is soup day and yummy selections. Now that Soup Otzie didn't return sadly they have found a desire for helping fill some of the void. Owners are delightful to work with as I prepped Polish baked delicacies for my brother-in-law's memorial meal. It was a tribute to his aunts, Bapcia and Busha being able to enjoy a few familiar delicacies. As they add, expand and work to support the community I enjoy my walking a bit more.

They had it all and it was amazing. All the meats were top notch and grilled up to perfection. Bakery was authentic. Loved the service and the authentic polish hospitality.

What a great Polish Delicatessen! Our family is Gluten Free and this shop carries GF pierogi and potato pancakes that are delicious! And great homemade sausage too. Very clean and well organized store. Can't wait to get back there.

Where do I begin?? The service was so slow, the longs were way too long and they don't have much. We tried the smoke Polish and it tasted AWFUL! The turkey meat was so dry and tasted off, and the cashier guy didn't pack well at all. I got a Danish thing and it leaked all over everything not to mention it was packed sideways and the top of the Danish was stuck to the box!! We spent a lot of money and sadly a lot of it went into the trash. This was not true Polish food, and the service needs major help! Waste of money and time. We traveled a long way. NEVER AGAIN! GO TO OLD WORLD Deli!!!!
