I must say it was very reluctant to eat here, mostly because I've eaten at the one on Massachusetts Avenue in DC near Union Station.. I don't think there Pizza Oven had been cleaned in a really long time. My pizza was over reheated and chunks of some black stuff on the bottom of the pizza. It was not very good, I put it in the trash. There was a homeless guy nearby, he started laughing said yeah that pizza sucks, I never eat there.. This one is the exact polar opposite of the pizza I had. It was REALLY good, crispy, but not too much, very tasty. I'm glad I gave it another try. Had the Chicken Bacon Ranch. I highly recommend this location.. 👍🏻👍🏻

Google
Great experience at Wiseguy Pizza! The pizza was outstanding—especially the Korean Chicken pizza, which had an amazing flavor. I also tried the wings with sweet chili sauce, and they were absolutely delicious. The service was excellent as well—big thanks to Estefany for her great recommendations and friendly attitude. Highly recommend!

Ordered the Family Special which came with their famous large pizza (pepperoni) and a Caesar salad. Pizza was delicious. It's even better the next day after reheating in a toaster oven.

I stopped by Wise Guy Pizza for the first time after a long day without eating, just looking for a quick bite. I had no idea what to get, but the person behind the counter was super patient and helpful. A customer who came in after me even chimed in to say I couldn’t go wrong—everything was good. That gave me some confidence, and I ended up trying a slice of Spicy Roni and a slice of Grandma’s. Both were so good! You could taste how fresh they were, and the dough was that perfect mix of chewy and crispy. Definitely hit the spot. I’d absolutely recommend stopping in if you’re nearby!

Google
Delicious pizza and fast friendly service! Great grab and go location. Small dining counter to eat in and a small outdoor area to eat as well. Would highly recommend if your in the area looking a good piece of zaa 🍕

Google
I've ordered the paneer pizza from here many times over the past 5 years and we just love it. But we haven't ordered in at least 6 months and today the sauce tastes really different. It tastes like mayo instead of a yogurt based sauce and not as spicy. I don't like it compared to their old sauce but still love the pizza otherwise.

Google
This review was sponsored by a delicious chocolate chip cookies that was soft and chocolaty. Pizza here an awesome. Highly recommend. Come every Friday. Love the Mushroom truffle. But all are good. Don’t be afraid to try the Bulkalo Chicken or Spocy Pepperoni. Those are just as good.

I’ll be coming here for over 10 years in the staff still delivering an incredible top-notch customer service! Thank you all to Rosie. Thank you, Erick

Yelp
This is my favorite NY slice in the area! Luckily, they're everywhere throughout the city. For about $5 a slice, you get a HUGE piece of pizza (I'm guessing 18 inches diameter) with high quality sauce and ingredients. Even their vegan supreme is good. My favorites are the spicy pepperoni and buffalo chicken.

Yelp
I guess I'm a severe critic when it comes to Pizza. I've made a lot of my own pizza the last couple years. I don't have a pizza oven but through trial and error I'm able to make some pretty decent pies. Margarita pizzas is my favorite. I like my pizza with a medium, thin, crunchy crust. When I hold a slice horizontally, it shouldn't sag. Having said all this, wise guys pizza has a very nice flavor. The crust is OK but way too limpy for me. And I can only speak about takeout. The other day we ordered a large cheese pizza and I got a slice. I think it was called Backyard . It had mushrooms, green peppers, etc. I enjoyed it! In summary, I would recommend wise guys pizza.

Yelp
If you need a slice at a reasonable price, you can't go wrong. Solid mix of options. Slices are premade and heated to order. Their garlic knots are also pretty good (I am have strong feelings about knots so that is important to me). They also have respectable prepackaged salads and desserts. All in all, a solid slice option.

Yelp
No pictures to offer because the boss ordered some of everything for the office to enjoy for lunch! I was very pleased with the slices of pepperoni, Sicilian and white pizza I ate. The sauces and cheeses were great and the New York style as advertised lived up to their claim of great pizza. Co-workers were pleased and since this was my first experience with this place; I am pleased too. The service was amazing as the staff had prepared 11 pizzas for our office. The ambiance was laid back and stress free as walk-ins and delivery orders were going out the door. There was a group of four behind us picking up an order of 14 pizzas as we were walking out. They do offer pizza by the slice too!

Yelp
the restaurant was small with approximately 4 seats inside and a few outdoor tables. I paid about $12 for two slices, paneer tikka and truffle mushroom. the mushroom pizza was great, but I do wish the paneer tikka was spicier. it's not anything much more special than the &pizza next door

Yelp
In my opinion this is an OK pizza experience. Unfortunately at one time I used to believe Wiseguy Pizza was a top tier, New York-style pizza in DC. When Wiseguy first arrived on the scene in DC around a decade ago it was a breath of fresh air to an otherwise lacking pizza scene in DC. I was even more enthusiastic when this one opened in Rosslyn, VA, however over time the quality of the individual pizza slices at the Rosslyn location declined due to inconsistency. What I like about New York style pizza is the crispiness of the crust and Wiseguy at one point executed the crust to perfection, however on the last few occasions I visited this location I experienced inconsistency with the crust. It was too dry. Much of it is a result of the pizza slices sitting out for too long in the display case, drying out the slices, and reheating at high temperatures. The turnover just doesn't happen enough and the pizza sits in the display case. Having once craved this pizza and it being my go-to option for pizza on Pizza Friday's, I no longer have a strong desire to visit this location for pizza in general. Lately I've been purchasing whole pies which guarantees the pizza is fresh. Again, had I not known how good Wiseguy used to be I wouldn't necessarily be disappointed however I still would encourage anyone to try this place because after all, it's pizza.

Yelp
My cauliflower gluten free crust pizzas were delicious! Well seasoned and flavorful. I was happy with the margherita and supreme pizzas. 10" small definitely enough for 1 person.. maybe 2. I would buy again!

Alf L.

Yelp
They lie about 50% off slices on Wednesday afternoon. At least the Dupont location. Wiseguy Pizza was sold to a Group last year and has gone downhill fast.

Shawn R.

Yelp
I lived in New York for 10 years and totally miss the pizzas there, but I can get a great pizza here. The cheesecake is amazing too.
google avatar

Yelp
My go to pizza place in the DMV for NY style. Chewy yet crusty dough with a tasty blend of cheeses and homemade-tasting sauce. Crust is not as good as Andy's but this place is more generous with the toppings, including basic things like the cheese and sauce.

Yelp
We popped into Wiseguy and picked up a couple of slices of pizza. The slices are huge, and there were quite a few options available, including not only more classic combos but some more creative ones, as well. They also offer salads and some good looking dessert options. We went with slices of cheese and the Godfather and some bottled root beer. Staff was friendly and the food was tasty.

Yelp
This is located near Rosslyn Metro. There are paid street and garage parking option nearby. They have a large variety of topping options available either by the slice or as a whole pizza. If ordering by the slice, they warm it up for you. There is a station across the cash register for you add things like pepper to your pizza. I decided to venture out from the usual pizza selections (pepperoni, margherita, etc.) and ended up ordering up a slice of Chicken Paneer Masala Pie. Ingredients included House Masala (contains tree nuts), Chicken, Paneer Cheese, Mozzarella, Green and Chili Peppers, Onions, Tomato, Cilantro, & Jalapeno Sauce. This thin slice pizza was delicious and not spicy at all. If you like Indian fusion, then I recommend giving this a try.
google avatar

Yelp
This is a short review just to say the pizza from this location in particular is probably my favorite pizza in all of the DMV. The paneer tikka masala has such a perfect level of spice, the crust is the right thickness, and everything is so balanced. Highly highly recommend!

Yelp
Wiseguy Pizza is an awesome pizza spot in Northern Virginia. They have some super dope specialty pies that always hit the spot and never fail to satisfy. Each slice is crispy yet light and has the perfect ratio of cheese to topping to sauce. They're also always cooked to well done! So far I've tried the Paneer Tikka, Margherita, Mushroom Truffle, and Grandma Square. As a huge fan of Indian fusion pizza, Wiseguy definitely has some of the best Paneer Tikka slices. It's a jalapeño sauce with house masala, paneer, mozzarella, onion, tomatoes, green peppers, chili peppers, and cilantro. The base sauce is nice and spicy which really helps bring out all the masala flavors. Each of the toppings fit right into each other. But my favorite part of the experience has to be jalapeño sauce drizzle! It's spice and savor sets it apart from any other paneer slice I've had! The Mushroom Truffle has a white sauce base with mushrooms, basil, goat cheese, mozzarella, parmigiano, and truffle oil. This pie is super creamy and packed with mushroomy flavor creating its own unique experience. The Margherita is pretty standard. Made up of tomato sauce, mozzarella, basil, parmigiano, and extra virgin olive oil, it always satisfied whenever looking for a simple but classic slice. However the Grandma Square does the same taste wise, but is on whole new level with texture and experience. It's a square slice cooked well done with marinara, mozzarella, basil, and extra virgin olive oil.

Yelp
It was 'ok' pizza (I'd really give it 2.5 stars). Not bad, not great, and a bit overpriced.

Yelp
Hate to be the party pooper but this place is a no-go for me. 1) pizza tasted old and chewy. 2) saw a roach on inner counter near the to-go boxes. 3) told the cashier about it - she said "I can't do anything about it" 4) the garlic knots were pretty good - hence the 2 stars 5) better cleanliness and ingredients should be the fix, and a trained staff would be nice.

Yelp
The sad thing is this pizza used to be really good. I would have called it the best in NoVa. But the quality has made a steady decline and the service has gotten even worse. The nail in the coffin came this week when I placed an order by phone, extra pepperoni, light sauce. I came in a few minutes later (before the pizza could have been done) to watch them take a room temperature pie off the cooling rack and slap it in a box with my name on it. No effort to make the pie I custom ordered. Heavy on the sauce, scant on the pepperoni, cold as ice. Then icing on the cake, the employees were cranky and rude to me. There are places in the area with better pizza, lower prices, and more convenient to me. If they're not gonna bother with quality or service anymore, there is now zero reason for me to go back there. Sad to see a good pizza place go downhill like this.

Yelp
Late night pizza by slices is the bomb! We each got 2 slices and enjoyed our pizza by the Main Street of Rosslyn. Reminded us eating pizza on the street of NY on a not so busy street. Definitely recommend The Godfather if your a meat lover and the Buffalo chicken if your a fan of spicy chicken.
google avatar

Shivana D.

Yelp
Tried this place recently and had a little pizza picnic in a nearby park. My partner and I got the mushroom truffle and the chicken paneer masala - both with the cauliflower crust. The chicken paneer was so good! Super flavorful and unique. The mushroom truffle was a little disappointing. I didn't taste much truffle at all, the flavor coming through was mostly Parmesan. Still good but not as elevated as the chicken masala. The cauliflower crust was pretty good though - crispy and tasted like a regular thin crust pizza. I do wish they offered the kbbq pizza with a cauliflower crust! But would get the chicken masala again for sure.
google avatar

Sreyoshi B.

Yelp
Tiny shop, Big flavors! Wiseguy pizza's paneer chicken pizza is my go to after a long week! The Korean bbq pizza is great too. And the buttery garlic knots are to die for! You really cannot go wrong picking a pizza at wise guys! I like this location at Rosslyn over their location near the Pentagon City mall.
google avatar

Yelp
This is the best pizza in Rosslyn! Me and my wife love the chicken Tikka and paneer tikka and we order these all the time! This is our favorite pizza take out place every single time. It is the perfect thickness and perfect crust and perfect sauce. Service is very quick. Parking is the only thing difficult because of their location at the Lynn street. It is located close to the Rosslyn metro so after work, it is easy to get the pizza before walking home. I highly recommend this place and would love to come back again and again!
google avatar

Jessica L.

Yelp
Got delivery and enjoyed it. I decided to order a whole supreme pizza with no mushrooms and a side salad. The side salad was pretty small, but good. Unfortunately the pizza was covered in mushrooms. My husband and I were both pretty annoyed as we stood there picking mushrooms off, but once we did that I actually really enjoyed the pizza. The crust was crisp on the bottom and held up well to the toppings, the sauce was flavorful, and it had a decent amount of toppings on it. I'd get pizza here again for sure (hopefully just with no mushrooms like I asked the first time).

Yelp
I came to see the tree, stayed for the pizza! Rosslyn has a beautiful tree outside for epic pictures. Got me into the holiday spirit. After taking my share of maybe 30 - 50 pics by the tree, I spotted Wiseguys. I love pizza, so.....why not. This place is rather small, but it gave me new york pizzeria vibes (even though I haven't been YET). There was a refrigerator case that carried the old school soda in a glass bottle, I liked it. What caught my eye more than the pizza was the dessert case. They carry Juniors' Cheesecake! How exciting. Diddy's favorite cheesecake. You know!!!?????!!! That cheesecake, the one he made those folks walk from Manhattan to Brooklyn to bring to him. Yes!!!! That cheesecake. I had to try it. The price was steep for one slice, but it was a huge slice AND I had just burned calories with all the photos. BUT, what slice do I get??? Carrot Cake??? I like carrot cake and I like cheesecake - so win-win! $9.49 for the slice of cheesecake. I grabbed a pizza slice as well. Cheese!!! I wasn't that impressed with the pizza and they are known for pizza, so......I wouldn't go back for that. I got the cheesecake home and I loved it!!!! Really the cheesecake stole the show!!! I don't like traditional baked cheesecake. I like the way my grammy makes it - no bake. Its so much more light and airy, the flavor is less cheesy and mote sweet. Thats what I got from this, not overpowering cheese flavor and the carrot cake meshed perfectly!!!

Dawn S.

Yelp
It's unfortunate because their pizza is delicious but their service is terrible, their staff is exceedingly rude and when I asked to speak to a manager they hung up on me. I ordered and paid for a Ceasar Salad acvording to the verbiage on the Uber Eats app. All they delivered was dressing and an ice cold pizza. Everyone makes mistakes but this is the second time in a row they have delivered without an item I ordered and recused to refundfor the missing item. There is zero customer service at the Roslyn location.

Yelp
I'm from Boston and my brother lives in NYC so I know good pizza. After searching for a good pizza place for about a year, I finally tried this place because people kept telling me it had a good NY style slice. It's really good. It's not floppy and the crust has a good crunch. The cheese stays on the pizza and doesn't slide around. It's a good marriage between cheese, sauce, and crust. I got a cheese slice to try their pizza in its basic form and it was great. The other slice is chicken paneer and though it's completely untraditional, it was great also.
google avatar

Anne Y.

Yelp
Perfect for a quick bite! Not the most amazing pizza I've never had but it's fun to try all the different flavors they have.
google avatar

Jessica P.

Yelp
Wiseguy's has become our regular pizza place in the area. Pros: Wise guy's is reliable, consistent and pretty good. They have lots of toppings but we usually are pretty boring--half cheese, half pepperoni and veggies. The ingredients are always fresh and they use the perfect amount of cheese and sauce. Pieces are also pretty generous and the soft, thin crust is also something that appeals to our toddler and he's a pretty picky eater. Their side salads are also pretty good. Their pizza also reheats well so great for lunch the day after. Cons: I think it can be a little pricey for what it is, but it's offset a bit by the amount of pizza you get. I have also found that they don't always follow the instructions we put in the comments if we get delivery (such as toppings on only half).
google avatar

Tim A.

Yelp
Best NY style slice in DMV that I have found so far. Sauce is fantastic and crust is usually spot on. The margarita and grandma slice in particular are very good.
google avatar

Justin L.

Yelp
found a hair on one of the pizzas, they were overheated and the crust was rock hard. also very oily. dominoes is much better tbh.
google avatar

Emma A.

Yelp
Very disappointed. We ordered a cheese pizza, two salads, 4 additional ranches. They got the salad dressings wrong, and didn't include 2 ranches of the 4. I called to see if they could reimburse, and they said they had to either reimburse for the whole thing, or nothing. I said I didn't want them to have to reimburse for the whole thing, so just sucked up the cost. It should be noted that this was delivery, and the woman on the phone said that if I picked up in the store, I could check. Obviously I would have, but that's the whole reason I paid $3.00 in delivery and a good tip. I'm disappointed in the delivery. Good food, but pick up. Editing this because the owner reached out and offered to remedy with a store credit or sending the money.

Yelp
I continually keep coming back here primarily for the chicken paneer and paneer tikka slices. It's so hard to find these type of pizzas with a strong enough flavor (ex. Curry & Pie was not flavorful enough for me even though they specialize in Indian fusion pizzas). However, I love the Wiseguy take on these with these two fusion pizzas, even though slices are very expensive ($5). There is so much flavor and each bite is delicious! The downside is that sometimes they only have 1-2 slices of the Indian fusion slices left. I think 2 slices would constitute a good sized meal. Apart from those, I've tried their Grandma pizza before and it was not good or worth the price at all. Overall, I will definitely keep coming back mainly for their Indian fusion pizzas!
google avatar

Mike J.

Yelp
This was around the corner from my hotel and very close to the train station so I ate here a couple times when I was in town. When it comes to Pizza I love a big floppy new york-style slice and that is what they serve. Generally I am not a fan of crossing genres e.g. BBQ chicken pizza or chicken Tikka masala pizza. That being said, I tried the Nashville hot chicken pizza and it is awesome! I also tried a slice of a more traditional margherita pizza and that was my favorite.
google avatar

Latisha M.

Yelp
I ordered a slice of pepperoni pizza and this is how it was served to me. This isn't edible. I am beyond disappointed.
google avatar

Angela P.

Yelp
The pizza here is SOO good! I would highly recommend it and will always get this if we have friends over or even after a night of drinking. It's fresh & the service is great! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
google avatar

Vidisha V.

Yelp
Love the varieties and the flavors! Very close to New york style pizza! Got a slice of cheese pizza as we just wanted to try something out here! Asked them to make it extra crispy and they made it to perfection! They large pies were selling a fast! The staff is polite and patient and would walk us through the different pizzas! They also have paneer tikka pizza, for the paneer lovers! Great vegetarian combo! The Godfather pizza is there trademark! Truffle lovers make sure you try the mushroom Truffle pie!!
google avatar

Melissa B.

Yelp
Wise guys pizza is a fan favorite for my office and work and is usually the food of choice for meetings. The slices are huge and the speciality slices are extremely filling. I was very excited to try the tikka masala since I love Indian food. It was definitely good but I didn't love the paneer on the pizza and think it would have been better with just the chicken and sauces. The buffalo chicken was one of my favorites, with buffalo sauce and ranch on top. Beware that the ones with meat on them are a lot of food! The garlic knots were good as well but nothing special. Definitely one of my favorite pizza places in dc since they have so many cool pizza topping options!
google avatar

Brandon B.

Yelp
I want to give this place more stars. Delivery was fine, pizza was well made and seemed fresh. The crust was alright, the cheese was great but the sauce was not good at all. Perhaps it was a bad night, but it did not have much flavor initially. It had a strange, almost earthy aftertaste though, which was weird. I may give this place another chance. For a place that prides itself on being a NY style pizza place? I've had better in this area unfortunately.
google avatar

Pas D.

Yelp
Been watching the Margharita slice shrink before my eyes since the day this place opened. I guess this is their price increase but seriously, we all noticed. They also don't seem to keep their oven clean. The back of the pizza crust taste like burnt residue. What is going on with this place?!

Akaisha C.

Yelp
The pizza is always delicious! Their ranch is great too! It is a pricy, but when you're craving a GOOD pizza, this is the place. I don't like the bottled soda brands they carry. They were a bit flat to me.
google avatar

Justin S.

Yelp
Quick and great if you're looking for a quick bite. Went here right after checking into the hotel (came in as a tourist out-of-state) and they took care of my hunger problem. Got two slices and a salad and ate all of it completely. The only complaint I'd have is the pizza left this lingering burnt aftertaste, not sure if that is intentional or not. Would recommend coming here if you want pizza by the slice real fast, but there could be other more suited options if you want to have a formal 'pizza night'.
google avatar

Krishna G.

Yelp
Best pizza I've had in the DMV! The paneer tikka pizza is very flavorful and the grandma square cut was great!
google avatar

Norman G.

Yelp
Tiny place, huge flavor! This has to be one of the best pizza within the Washington DC metro area. You need one in Fairfax!
google avatar

C B.

Yelp
I don't know why the pizzas are so large, but they are delicious New York style pizzas that reheat well in the oven the next day. Ordered a plain cheese for the kiddo and a custom pizza for the adults. Both were yummy. Stellina Pizzeria in Shirlington is still my favorite (if you're eating it fresh), but I will definitely order from Wiseguy Pizza again.
google avatar

Christian L.

Yelp
Just more burned pie. We've been to 3 locations; all had black slices. The yokels here just love to serve BLACK charcoal bricks. We will never come back! Ten bucks for two small, hard, stale slices?? Get outta here. Straight-up R.I.P. OFF! Review: 2
google avatar

Marc M.

Yelp
Best New York style pizza in Arlington. Nice crispy crust, and generous toppings. The surprise best slice of the evening was the buffalo. Because it didn't have tomato sauce moistening the crust, it stayed crispy to the last bite. I did not expect to enjoy the buffalo chicken topping, but it was just extraordinary. Both Grandmas and the Pepperoni will have you forgetting about getting on the New York bus for a slice. No need, you'll get about 90% there right here in Rosslyn. Incredible feat that deserves 5 stars. I will be returning for more buffalo chicken.
google avatar

Christine J.

Yelp
Interesting menu and selection of pizza. We decided to try a few different slices to get a sense of the pizza: 1. Classic margarita pizza - ok but I thought the crust was somewhat tough and just generally felt meh about it. Like not bad just not great. 2. Chicken Paneer pizza - this one was my favorite. It was a more unique flavor (I love Indian food) and the crust was much fluffier on this one. The way I more expect and like my crust 3. Godfather - pretty good, but again here the crust was fundamentally lacking for me 4. Korean pizza - didn't really care for this one. Something with the smell I just couldn't really get pass 5. Buffalo - generally like buffalo and didn't care for this one either sadly I think the best part of the whole meal was the cookies honestly. Those were on point. Pizza was lacking in my opinion mainly due to the crust for me. Just overall too tough. Don't think I'd try this place again.
google avatar

Jason H.

Yelp
Let me tell you, this place gets catered to my office every now and then and every time it happens, I fall to my knees and say a prayer of thanks. This place hands down has THE BEST Buffalo Chicken pizza I've ever had. The cheese has the rubbery texture that is a hallmark characteristic of every nostalgic pizza joint I've ever been to. Doused on top is the tangy and creamy blend of the ranch and buffalo sauce. Burrowed in between the pockets of hot gooey cheese and ponds of delicious sauce sits the juicy shredded chicken, marinated to savory perfection that brings the whole bite to cloud nine. On top of that, each slice is a generous size that makes the joy of eating it that much more prolonged. Mmmmmmmmmm. The sight of this pizza in the office truely makes my day. The fact my Managing Directors order this as rewards for working hard may be one of the biggest reasons I stay at my company and put in the hours. As long as they keep buying the pizza, they have my loyalty. Note to management at other companies based in Rosslyn, buy this pizza for your office if you want your employees to do good work!

Yelp
Excellent pizza. Delicious. Amazing. Homemade flavor. I ordered the square pepperoni. The sauce and crust were the real winners. The meat and cheese were very good, but that sauce and crust man.... it was like I made it at home. I couldn't help myself from eating two giant slices. More pizza than a man should eat, but F it was good. I recommend this pizza. I will gladly eat it again.

Yelp
Tasty NY Style pizza! Perfect dinner for this out of town visitor from NY! Quick delivery right to our hotel room doorstep!

Yelp
Wiseguy has the best NY style slice in the DMV. It's the only place we order from now, after trying many different pizza places in the area. We always love a good cheese pizza with mushrooms. Highly recommend.
