The Bay Area’s Most Exciting Restaurant Openings - Eater SF

"SONOMA — SF-based chef-entrepreneur Michael Mina has restaurants around the globe, but he’s never opened a spot in wine country. That changes this month, as Mina is bringing his Wit & Wisdom Tavern to the former Carneros Bistro space in Sonoma’s the Lodge, the Bay Area News Group reports. Expect a long local wine list, hearth-oven cooking, and dishes composed of ingredients from nearby farms." - Eve Batey

We came to this place 2 times. We tried all the three steak options: fillet mignon, new york steak and the wagyu steak. All the steaks are really top quality. Suggesting fillet mignon though. The fries is also good; with the duck fat. In the pizzas, definitely the ricotta one. For desert, also don’t miss the cheese cake. They have also large variety of wines.

What a wonderful dining experience in Sonoma! The food was delicious, the wine selection was perfect, and the ambiance was lovely. We were celebrating a special occasion, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel truly special. Highly recommend! Panna cotta was chef’s kiss ✨

Google
Holy wow. I don’t if we just picked all the right dishes or what. The pizza was fantastic as was the truffle Mac. But the Brussels sprouts - not pictured because quickly devoured - were the highlight. They pack some heat though so be aware. Will come back next time in town. Took our candy bar dessert to go to eat later and it was beyond delicious.

Google
This restaurant has a nice atmosphere. The service is very good. It makes a nice bar alternative to the too early closing The Lodge bar. The food was a bit disappointing, but at least it is expensive. We ordered the crab & endive Caesar salad 3/5, LIBERTY FARM DUCK WINGS 4/5, SEARED KING SALMON 4/5, and Ahi Tuna special 3.5/5. The dessert THE WIT & WISDOM CHOCOLATE BAR 5/5. Nice wines and craft cocktails. However, pricey.

Google
Do yourself a favor, come here! Get there early for happy hour and get the duck fat fries and the duck Thai wings, holy hell I am still thinking about the flavors and textures. Incredibly thoughtful and special. Also the $10 glass of wine is a great deal. Jaqueline was amazing! Such a knowledgeable and helpful server. All of her recommendations were on point and we had a beautiful meal of the truffle tagliatelle, steak and broccolini, along with the basque cheesecake for dessert. I will be dreaming of that dessert for a lifetime. She also recommended some amazing cheese and wine spots in the area too that I can’t wait to try. All in all, such a great meal and we celebrated my sister’s bday and they really made her feel special with a hand written note. Very classy and also so high quality.

Google
We had such a great experience our first time at Wit & Wisdom. Luka and the whole staff were so friendly and helpful. We ordered the duck wings, which were amazing! As well as the salmon and duck fat fries.. everything was really fresh and delicious, will definitely be back!

Google
Went during Restaurant Week. It seemed like they were short three wait staff. Had a 6:30 reservation left after 3 and 1/2 hours. Food was delicious. The non Restaurant Week food items seem to be a little high-priced. Overall it was good but not excellent. I would love to come back when it's fully staffed and get the full experience.

Yelp
This was our 2nd visit to Wit & Wisdom, and we enjoyed it just as much as our first visit. We were greeted warmly by Trisha who set the tone perfectly with her friendly demeanor, scoring us a great table where we could see all of the action but still have quiet conversation as well. Our drinks were on point. We went with a couple of the house signature cocktails, which there are a good selection of. Our server Dylan pointed out a few of the best dishes as we looked over the menu. We went with the crab and endive Caesar, bomba pizza, and the salmon. All were good but the Cesar was excellent. Great service, creative cocktails, and tasty food. We'll definitely return on our next trip up to Sonoma.

Yelp
This place was quite chaotic. 1) they brought out other peoples food to our table twice 2) they forgot one of our entrees 3) they then brought us out another tables check (three times as much we had spent ). After number three I was pretty frustrated and the guy said he will be right back and will comp our drinks. He did come back shortly but He did not comp our drinks . We were short on time so we just left. I don't think the best food in the world could have made up for the poor service at this place.

Yelp
Wish I loved it! The service was 5/5, very friendly, chill, welcoming. Ambiance was clean and modern. Food was good. I got the shrimp app, and filet with a crab leg supplement as my main. My bf got a salad, soup, falafel, and rigatoni. We shared the candy bar dessert. Nothing stood out as being special. It wasn't bad but it wasn't enough to want to go back. :(

Yelp
Amazing experience tonight here! 10/10 highly recommend. Didn't have a reservation - was planning on ordering takeout, and turned into a dinner in. That said, I was dressed for a dinner in, and while I feel like I rate a lot of places on their welcomeness to my relaxed when not at work style; here I go again saying the same. Not an issue! May have well as been dressed to the nines. We had a wonderful engaging service from Matt, got to chat with some folks at the table next door, and enjoyed a delightful tasting menu and amazing wines. Highlights were definitely the olives, the oysters, the wagyu, and the spinach. The spinach was phenomenal! I'll be back again later in the week (this time dressed more appropriately) and look forward to another amazing meal! Thank you!!

Yelp
Just wow! What a great experience! The food was yummy, the deserts were over the top delicious, and our server Mayra was an absolute treat.

Yelp
Amazing. The service was great, the server helped us with some selections of our food. Ambiance was clean with a modern look. I love that they had seating area where a staff member took our order for drinks while waiting for our table. Food was delicious. I ordered: Lemon drop with elderflower 10/10 strong and tasty Bread with butter 9/10 bread was fluffy and buttery.. came with a honey butter Liberty farm duck wings 10/10 the hit on the table. Tasty and flavored well Shishito peppers 10/10 the best appetizer. Peach and heirloom tomato salad 8/10 went well together Roasted Petaluma half chicken 10/10 big piece of chicken..skin crispy the crispy potatoes also paired well. Jalapeño Creamed corn 8/10 tasted very well but not spice at all. S'mores soufflé 7/10

Yelp
This review was based on a takeout experience, but my family and I still really enjoyed it! All our food was ready when we arrived. I ordered the seared king salmon, which was cooked perfectly. The summer succotash was really tender. The jalapeño creamed corn had a lot of flavor! Lastly, the crispy onion gave a nice crunch. This was a great dish! My partner also really enjoyed his Heritage Pork Schnitzel. He said it was the perfect schnitzel - fried nicely on the outside and juicy on the inside. The fried egg on top was a great finishing touch! Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted great even for takeout! I can't wait to try the restaurant in person next time I'm in Sonoma!

Yelp
Delicious food good service and great ambiance! The food here was very tasty and you could tell good ingredients were used. The ambiance was probably my favorite part as well. Beware it is a bit pricey but nothing out of the ordinary from what you'd expect at a restaurant at a nice hotel in Sonoma!
google avatar

Yelp
The restaurant is very beautiful and cozy! All the staff were attentive and friendly. They were on top of refilling water and making sure we had everything. The food was so good! We ordered a variety of plates and they were all perfectly cooked, fresh and delicious. We would definitely return, and they rotate the menu so would love to try more items!

Yelp
A wonderful place with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. We went with a large group and got a variety of dishes and desserts (not all pictured). The best starter that we had was the cazuela and best entree was the Dungeness crab pasta. You can't go wrong with the desserts! The chocolate bar was rich and decadent. The cheesecake had a delicious caramelized layer on the side. We had a lovely time and I highly recommend this place!

Yelp
Maybe I'm just not a fan of the current seasoning and flavors they used but they got a lot of potential! Since we were staying at the Lodge, and have had a bit to drink already. we figured we would try this place out. We didn't have reservations but that was fine, we just sat in the bar area which was very cozy and comfy. More "laidback" anyways. We ordered: hamachi crudo - wasn't a fan of the olive oil, made the dish heavy on tongue. was hoping for fresh and light. crab and endive salad - this could have been soo good. but sooo heavily dressed it was SOOO SALTY. blehhh get this but tell them to go light. I really wanted to eat it. duck wings - fall off the bone, well seasoned. steak burger - big burger, thick patty, it was okay to me, but husband enjoyed. crab pasta - had high hopes as well, it was good but again heavy? just missing a little something. but still enjoyed it the next day when we got home. service was fine, ambiance was nice. location was great. it is a nice place to come with friends and others. I'd give them a try again and pick other items.

Yelp
We tried other Michael Mina restaurants in the Bay Area--and can't say we were always impressed. Wit and wisdom was truly a gem for the seafood lover. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our cocktails and we couldn't have been more pleased with our entrees. As you can see in the photos--the seafood platter was divine. Two of us ordered the tuna ahi steak and that was cooked perfectly. We also shared some oysters that were so fresh. Lastly--we ordered a steak and that was cooked perfectly. Obviously--the service was amazing and would recommend for a nice meal on a night out.

Yelp
Had Friday night reservations after a day of wine tasting. This place hit the spot! My favorite was the crab ceaser salad... I could have eaten another whole order as my meal! I ordered the burger and it was just what I needed! I was so stuffed and satisfied! Add this place to your list on places to try when you are in the area... and be sure to order the crab ceaser!

Yelp
Food: * Lobster Pot Pie - THIS should be your reason for visiting * Duck wings - Amazing, I would consider getting 2 * Roasted Carrots - Great - but... you know. Cocktails: * Each one was great. But you'll remember the food more. Vibe: * Lively and business casual. Most likely you're looking at this place as a dinner option during your wine tasting journey. I reserve 5 starts for planning your day around and will very confidently say that this should be a good highlight to your day! -Do it!

Yelp
We came Friday night for restaurant week and it was PACKED. Luckily we had a reservation, so we were able to be seated pretty quickly. Ambiance was nice and had great vibes. Great service, our waitress was super attentive and friendly. We ordered from the restaurant week menu, and between my husband and I we ordered: Appetizers- Marinated beets with goat foam cheese- beets were perfect and I loved the airy goat foam cheese, the hazelnuts added a nice crunch to the dish Ricotta meatballs - perfectly seasoned, and I'm usually not a grits person but I actually liked this one! It wasn't super grainy, and eating the meatball with the grits together became the perfect bite. Entrees: Braised short rib - the meat was so tender and literally melted in my mouth. It was such a good cut of meat and didn't have much fat in it, and they gave a pieces. It came with duck fat fried, and I'm a sucker for fries. It was seasoned well and tasted delicious with the black garlic vinaigrette. Margherita pizza- tasty! Had just the right amount of tomato sauce, and it was thin crust. Dessert: Wit chocolate bar: loved it! The outside had chocolate and a peanut butter middle. I felt like it was light and rich at the same time. The drinks were great also! So glad we went!

Yelp
The ahi tuna and ceasar apps were exceptional!! Our waiter Matt was amazing! Our first anniversary dinner will never be forgotten!! Best night ever!

Yelp
Loved the hospitality and attentiveness of the host, to the servers, and to the staff members assisting with our table. The food was excellent- boasting with so much flavor. We had the wagyu and the salmon. Both were cooked perfectly. Ambiance was really nice. We were seated in an enclosed patio, which had lovely natural light and with such an airy atmosphere. We were there for a celebration and loved the little note upon being seated at our table. What a nice and special touch to our evening! This was my second visit at Wit and Wisdom, since a year ago. I look forward to more visits in the future!

Nancy N.

Yelp
Wow. What a perfect celebration dinner tonight. Thanks not only to the best service of Matt, Delon and Krista but to the delicious food, cocktails, desserts and ambiance. We wanted a great experience and we got it. Well worth the price . Thank you!

Yelp
This place is pretty good but has a couple of kinks to work out. I called once to see if they offer delivery and the girl at the front said, a little sarcastically, "definitely not," and laughed. It was the strangest thing, as if high price point restaurants can't offer delivery or something? I visited once to eat in person. I got the lamb pizza which was delicious and different! I loved the unique dish. Well cooked, with a real pizza oven. Flavors meshed well. My friend got the steak and ask for medium rare and it unfortunately came out completely cooked through. The server was incredibly nice and fixed it right away, and gave us some free fries to make up for it. We weren't waiting long for the fixed dish. The drinks were delicious and inventive. Our server was wonderful and outside of the curious interaction over the phone everyone was extremely nice. Will be back :)

Yelp
Came here after a Napa valley trip and made reservations beforehand. Food was delicious. The atmosphere was beautiful as well. Really clean, moody, and well put together for a fancy date night or any special upscale occasion. The service was great as well. The only downside is the price point as we felt some dishes were too high for its value such as the lettuce cups. Food: 8.8/10 Service: 9/10 Ambience: 9.5/10

Yelp
More causal than I thought. Great good. Not a solid five stars but rounding up: LIBERTY WINGS: pretty delicious. Kids loved it too HEIRLOOM TOMATOES: refreshing and light. Nothing spectacular or innovative about this dish but it was good. STEAK: cooked perfectly and it was one of my favorite bites of the night LOBSTER POT PIE: the hyped up dish of the night. The presentation is fun. Server comes out with it on a cart. He cuts open the pot pie and displays everything on the plate. Looking back, I should have asked for the pie crust on a separate plate. The put the crust on the bottom and pour the pie on top to soak up all the pie sauce. That's probably how the chef wanted it, but it was too soggy for me. This dish is very rich and creamy. It also tastes and smells like truffle oil which I wasn't a fan of. If you like truffle oil and creamy dishes, you'll enjoy this dish. AHI TUNA: least favorite dish. I'm not sure if it was intended to be cooked medium but there was only a slight pink in the middle. Not the typical seared tuna I had in mind. Dry. CHOCOLATE BAR: delicious! It's beautiful and hits notes for crunch from the toppings, salty from the peanut, and sweet from the chocolate. It was like an elevated Reese's candy SMORE SOUFFLÉ: kids had fun with this. Very creative dessert.

Yelp
Our server, Michael, was truly exceptional. From greeting to dessert, he checked in just enough with us. Our favorites were the cauliflower appetizer and steak frites. We will be back next time we are in town!

Yelp
Teresa made the evening spectacular! I celebrated my birthday here and she did not miss at all. All of her recommendations were devine. Beautiful ambiance, truly amazing food, and incredible service from Teresa! Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Sonoma
google avatar

Yelp
Food and device was excellent! Alexa our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. She recommended the Strawberry cheesecake which was to die for. Cocktail drink "life in a hammock" was excellent! First time here but will be back again.
google avatar

Yelp
My rating is strongly based on experience and service. We had a warm welcome with smiles at the front desk. Our waiter, Jason, was an absolute gem. We made reservations at Wit & Wisdom to celebrate a birthday. We started off with a toast of superb Michel Gonet Grand Cru, grab yourself a glass. You will be satisfied. Jason gave some suggestions on how to start our wine-tasting with our meal. We started with the bread rolls and tar tar. DO IT. Our mains were the NY steak, Rabbit Parpadelle, and Halibut. The steak and pasta were decent but the Halibut was OUTSTANDING. We finished our meal with a Basque Cheesecake and everyone left full and very happy. If you're hoping to celebrate any occasion, and love a great atmosphere, sophisticated decor, and excellent service, this is the place!
google avatar

Anne B.

Yelp
Love the Thanksgiving meal, it is delicious (turkey). Great presentation and getting both white and dark meat was appreciated. This is our 2nd time for our holiday meal here and we couldn't be happier. Thank you to the chef/kitchen for making our table a "cooked" oyster app, so we both could enjoy.
google avatar

Nancy Z.

Yelp
Great service- but food was a bit of a hit and miss. Nice wine selection. Good: Endive and crab salad. Delicious- delicately assembled with a drizzle of light sauce and cheese to complement the crab. Miss: Short rib cavatelli - short rib was cooked perfectly. But the pasta sauce was too runny and salty. Pepper crusted ahi- ahi was cooked nicely to a medium rare level but the sauce was way too salty. I was also not a fan of the fried potato cake. It was over fried and hard to eat.
google avatar

Jasmine J.

Yelp
Great service, food was lacking. We did the tasting menu and every single item lacked flavor. The salmon was undercooked and cold. The steak was probably the best part of the meal, and still lacked salt. We were really hoping to love it. Maybe if you want to go stick to the pizza or burger? People around us seemed to love them.

Yelp
Was looking for an amazing place to eat in Sonoma. We've been here many times and have been to many of the places on the square. Never heard of this place but turned out it was located right at our hotel, Lodge At Sonoma. This Michael Mina restaurant is legit. Yes it's not cheap but the food is amazing at 100% worth it. We shared a bunch of food: 1) beat salad - good but smallish portion 2) duck fat potatoes - really good and larger portion made up for the salad 3) lobster pot pie - $120 is steep but you'll remember the presentation and taste forever. 4) candy bar - I asked the server what he recommended for desert and he didn't hesitate. It was really good The server (wish I could remember his name) was awesome. Personable, down to earth, and made some great suggestions. I'd highly recommend this place and hope to go back.

Yelp
This place is amazing! We came today for happy hour and Gerard, the bartender, was hands down the best bartender eva! He made the BEST drink and food recommendations and his drinks were SO good! We will definitely be back for more!

Yelp
Came here for the lounge, the drinks are top notch, Ken, bartender, is a masterclass on liquor. I was greeted by the nicest host ever, Tricia is ger name. Makes you feel truly welcomed, will be returning. Was fortunate to arruve during happy hour where i was treated with a pizza that had this hot honey drizzle over ricotta. Next level flavor.

The food was a bit disappointing, but at least it is expensive. We ordered the crab & endive Caesar salad 3/5, LIBERTY FARM DUCK WINGS 4/5, SEARED KING SALMON 4/5, and Ahi Tuna special 3.5/5. Yelp
Incredible experience here from the initial greeting from the hosts to the outstanding food and drinks. Chef Danny does a fabulous job on flavor and food presentation. Wit & Wisdom is part of the Lodge and offers a modern, yet cozy spot to enjoy your meal. I came here for Mother's Day brunch and I already want to come back to try the dinner menu! Staff was attentive the whole time and the kitchen was very accommodating to dietary restrictions. For starters we ordered the seafood tower of shrimp, lobster, caviar and oysters. Beautiful presentation and everything was super fresh. We next tried the steak and eggs, avocado toast, and king salmon. The steak and eggs and salmon were amazing, and I probably could have skipped on the avocado toast. The salmon had a flavorful glaze with mustard and lentils which was super tasty. The wine was also outstanding. The dessert was such a fun treat. I had an assortment of sorbets and nibbled on the snickers bar too. Definitely would recommend!

Yelp
This is the second time my husband and I have dined here and it keeps getting better. First of all, do the tasting menu. Hands down. Cocktails were great, all seven items were great but what really stood out was the teamwork by the staff. Talk about a well oiled machine. We had a great server, but everyone pitched in as a team. I think we got to interact with probably 8 different people as they all brought different courses, took drink orders etc. They all took great care that each item came out hot and we were taken care of. Well done!
google avatar

Vivian N.

Yelp
My fiance and I both LOVED this restaurant. The food, cocktails, atmosphere, AND service were impeccable (and rarely do you get all four boxes checked). Top to bottom PERFECTION. We had the crab and endive Caesar (sounds simple but soooo good, one of the few things that has remained on their menu since Day 1), duck wings (I could eat these every day - flavor bomb and fell off the bone with ease; also another staple for the restaurant), hamachi crudo (really well done, can't miss with this classic), and the finale.... the special lobster pot pie (CRAZY good and presentation was an event in and of itself - DO it, you won't regret it!!!) Would go back here a million times if we lived closer and will always recommend to friends.
google avatar

Jeff G.

Yelp
We had a great dinner and excellent service from Alexa. Highly recommend the crab and endive salad, a fantastic sharable dish that was a standout. Wine list is absolutely as bonkers as you would expect, some very creative desserts as well!
google avatar

Hannah C.

Yelp
Our experience at Wit & Wisdom was amazing from start to finish. The food was incredible - my husband and I split a filet meal and the truffle pasta and truly loved every bite. It wouldn't have been complete, though, without the candy bar dessert - probably one of our favorite desserts we've ever had. The experience was truly great, though, thanks to Matt. He had great energy and walked us through the menu really well, helping us decide exactly what we wanted. Cannot recommend this restaurant enough!

Mary P.

Yelp
Food was a four but the service was not, may have been understaffed. We sat at the bar and had the duck fat fried wings and potatoes - both excellent. You have to order the rolls specifically, it isn't just brought out; they were good but a little too thick. Drinks were average.
google avatar

Jen L.

Yelp
We didn't have a reservation and it was lightly raining that day so weren't really seating people outside but were able to seat us in their covered and heated patio cause we had our dogs with us! We did the night at the tavern tasting which was a great way to try a little of everything on the menu - rolls sooo good and the butter was amazing! - olives - oyster add on! Worth it - they're very light and delicate - duck wings. Loved these - petite greens - tagliatelle - steak frites - roasted salmon - wit chocolate bar Honestly it was all delicious! And the service was great

Yelp
First visit , GF noted with RSVP was for my birthday Our experience included 6 different servers Arrived early before 5:30 and had the whole main dining section to our self for a while Drinks surprisingly arrived after the first course , excellent Margaritas for sure Pizza next , amazing and most unique flavors Extended delay before main courses arrived, Salmon and the Burger both came with cold plates and food , had to return them Salmon on return cane back cold again but just got through it Our pleasant main server recommended the signature dessert candy bar ice cream which we declined And then , the 6 th server arrived with the aforementioned desert stating complimentary from the chef ! Our server had no idea , there was limited coordination among all the different servers Before we left an unordered drink arrived at our table from yet another different server in error meant for another table Unfortunately no one ever acknowledged my birthday .. Guess it was an off night
google avatar

Victor B.

Yelp
Servers were friendly, polite, engaging and thorough. An A+. Food, not so much! Boring and Flavorless Halibut, Crab Caesar app same. Waiter recommended Schnitzel, don't do it! Boring and flavorless less!! Cheesecake desert was off the charts amazing. Definitely go somewhere else at these prices.

Yelp
we had such a lovely time here at wit & wisdom! Shelly was so lovely and accommodating especially because we had two small children with us. the outside seating area was beautiful. Ryan was our somm for the evening and he lead us in the direction of some beautiful wines that perfectly suited our taste. we really appreciated all of the direction the staff provided for us. we will definitely be back the next time we're in sonoma!

Yelp
We sat outside for dinner. The outside dinning had a beautiful ambiance. Food was excellent. I ordered the Ahi Tuns. It was well prepared and delicious! Prices were a little high. Service was a little slow.

Yelp
My husband and I celebrated our anniversary a month after they opened. I have been here a few times with friends and family and all I can say is five stars is not enough for the service, food ,and ambience. The bartenders, and Chef Danny are Top-notch. I highly suggest Wit and Wisdom.
google avatar

Amanda L.

Yelp
Did Mother's Day here. It did not disappoint! Cant wait to go back the food, service, and restaurant vibes were all on point and made us feel very upper class.
google avatar

Victoria B.

Yelp
Wit & wisdom went above and beyond to make our anniversary feel special. There was a handwritten note waiting for us at the table as well as two glasses of champagne. The server was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and congratulated us multiple times. Besides the great service the food was also delicious. We got the seafood platter, the burger and the chicken. For dessert we had the cheesecake which was like none we ever had before. All was so delicious! We will be back !

TY H.

Yelp
Our dinner started out well. We were wearing casual clothing, since we had flown in and been driving all day, and we didn't feel out of place. Our servers were friendly and attentive in the beginning, and it was nice that we didn't feel pressured to order alcoholic bevs. We had a long drive to our Airbnb so didn't want to imbibe so late in the evening. Unfortunately, the service went down from there. Once we received our food, no one ever came to check in on us as is standard at restaurants. The burger was really good but the crab pasta could've used some salt. Once our dinner was cleared and we were given dessert menus, it took about 15 minutes for someone to come back to take our order. The brûlée on the basque cheesecake was great. My friend had asked to get the rest of her burger and the duck fat fries to-go and we were never given the box. We didn't realize this until it was too late and we had driven an hour to our Airbnb. Overall, it was pretty disappointing to see service decline so quickly, especially at a high end restaurant. Maybe it would've actually helped if we had worn business casual clothing or ordered wine like the rest of the clientele.

Yelp
While visiting Sonoma for a birthday trip I decided to make reservations at this restaurant. My reservation was for 8:30 - we didn't get seated until 9:10 pm. The overall restaurant experience was pretty chill with the low lighting. Our waiter Jason was very kind and thorough in his knowledge of the food/wine we received. We chose fish for our main courses & Jason was kind enough to give us complimentary wine to pair as a make up for the late seating. We appreciated it and the food was very tasty. I'm not sure if I would return here. Very upscale on the prices - it would definitely be for special occasions only

Yelp
Excited to make the 40 minute drive to our 7:00 PM reservationf for the $115 each prix fixe Christmas Dinner at WIt & Wisdom. HOWEVER, upon arrival no table was available and the noise level was intolerable for conversation other than by leaning close and shouting in your partner's ear. This place has hard concrete floors, hard walls and no sound baffles. We had to wait 36 minutes to be seated. We considered leaving but at that hour on Christmas there would likely be only Denny's available for dining. And, this place requires your credit card just to make a reservation and then threatens to charge $50 per person for a cancellation. We got seated and sat shouting at each other over the noisy crowd and the way too loud rock music background. Then, they brought out the food and my salmon steak was grossly undercooked and was served at barely more than room temperature. LIkewise, the roasted cauliflower was served so cold we had to ask for a replacement. The filet mignon was about half the size of a normal filet and it looked like a fragment of a real filet. Likewise the fried potatoes were not hot. Matt, the waiter, tried earnestly to overcome and apologize for these disappointments, which were not his fault. We will not ever go there again. One star rating for its pervasive miss management.
