Say Good Morning to WKNDR, Los Feliz’s Newest Breakfast Hub | Eater LA

"I'm excited about a new coffee-and-breakfast spot in Los Feliz called WKNDR (the truncated name reads as “Weekender”), from Joshua Pourgol of Tacos Tu Madre and Bardonna. It lands inside the former Good Greek Grill on Vermont, next door to the movie theater and just steps from his other restaurant, Tacos Tu Madre. The shop opens today serving coffee and pastries only (no breakfast burritos to avoid cannibalizing his other spots), with a full food menu expected by March 1 and heartier all-day fare to follow. The small interior has a few stools at the counter, tight two-tops, and patio seating out front near Skylight Books; Julio Uriarte (formerly of Longshot Coffee) will oversee the coffee and tea program while chef Adrianna Sullivan (Pie Hole) handles food, and the café is using Sightglass and 49th Parallel beans. Expect limited hours at first with plans to expand to roughly 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily." - Farley Elliott

What a gem of a boutique for C’ville. Owner Becky stocks the store with on point pieces in a variety of sizes and prices which won’t break the bank. And she is savvy to keep the store open so you can pop in after dinner at the restaurants that are all around the shop. Plus she’s honest- I tried on a couple of items that, while they were super cute, just did not flatter my frame, and she told me so. I really appreciate that because she’s there about the long-term not just a one and done sale. She’s excited to share her story and her shop and hopes that you’ll come back. This is a definite keeper so def make a trip to check it out

After dinner in Belmont this wonderfully decorated and welcoming place is a perfect spot to pick up a gift or a little something for yourself! I went to look for a guest wedding and had a hard time choosing from their amazing options! The retail associate was very kind and helpful!!

The best part of eating at any of the wonderful downtown Belmont restaurants is stopping by WKNDR first (or after)! Huge selection of clothing and accessories at all price points, many of which cater towards local events like Foxfield, UVA graduation, etc. and holidays. Becky has a great eye and is so helpful with styling advice. This store is a perfect addition to our town as we are lacking in good brick and mortar clothing stores. My first stop for any of my fashion needs!

What a special spot! They have super cute and fun clothes - everything from jackets, to blouses, to gowns, to jeans, you can find it here. The gals at the store were sweetest, they recognized we were out on a girls weekend and gave us a ton of great recommendations for wineries and good spots to spend the day. Very reasonable prices, and we happened to catch them in the midst of a winter sale and it was impossible to leave without buying something! A must go for your Charlottesville girls weekend.
